I rent a film and saw a turkish languange selection but not able to watch the film in Turkish. i am using my AppleTv in Turkey wth ny Turkish Apple acccount and i bought a film before for my doughter and she watched it in Turkish. does anybody help me?

If you hold select button down while playing for several secs does it give you options for soundtrack/subtitles?

In Itunes or on the ipod video is there anyway to switch the audio languages. I have decrypted a movie two different ways. I have included the total languages and also just checked for the Spanish on the other. On the one with total languages it only plays in English, on the other it does not play the language at all. it is on Audio 2, but I can't play it on my itunes in Spanish. Any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance

Not at this time to my knowledge. Only full media players like QT or VLC currently seem to have the ability to switch audio tracks during playback. While it is possible to create QT/iTunes/iPod compatible files with alternate audio tracks, neither iTunes nor the iPod appear to currently have a "control" to switch from one to another. You can, of course, either create separate versions -- each with a different audio track -- or use QT Pro to re-designate primary/alternate track settings in a single file and re-sync it each time you wish to changes languages.

I live in Denmark, but my iTunes account is in Germany. Furthermore I want to watch movies in English. Can I buy / rent movie from German iTunes and somehow change the language to english or other? I prefer to watch movies in an original language..

I'm from Brazil, living in France for my studies. I wanted to buy a movie, but it's only in french and I prefer the original language, in this case, english. Is it possible to buy a different version, or does the country you're in dictate that?

But then agin you have the source code (.java files) open all java files in the oracle.forms froject and alter to your language then recompile and reacreate the jar (easily done with Jdeveloper)

It is an Apple isuue same as when you want to buy or download from the iTunes store.
I bought and registered (also credit card from Australia) mi iPhone 4s
Now when I came to Switzerland I should have NOT used my Australian details but registered everything here in Switzerland with Swiss credit card and probably a swiss email account.
My problem is opposite to yours, I can only download movies in English!!!!
What Apple could have done at least is give an option on undertittles so at least some movies are understud. It is no problem for myself but when I have friends over that do not understand the language we have problems.
I have had talks in Apple stores in Zuerich also in smaller Apple outlets, they all know about it as it is a common not problem but nuicance with Apples.
I hope I could shed some light to your problems but I think we can only hope that Apple will change theyr attidude to this **** situation.

I am watching a movie on my iPad via the Netflix app and the movie is in Spanish, I would like it to be in English but I can't find a way to fix the problem, please help.

But in the Netflix app is a place where you can watch unlimited movies and tv shows for only around 8 dollars a month.
so what i need help in is how to change the language of the movie that i am watching, in the app there in no menu or any way to rent, buy, or download moveis, (atleast non that i am aware of)

It sounds like you are wanting to change the language of a movie you purchased in iTunes. You can do that by following the following steps from the article named:

On iPad, tap on the speech bubble on left of the playback controls. If you're using any of your devices with AirPlay to stream your movie via Apple TV, you can change the audio or subtitle language from your device as you watch.

How can I change Illustrator language to English?

I have subscripted to Adobe Cloud and downloaded Photoshop/Illustrator but the default language at that time (in my Adobe Application Manager) was Portuguese so it installed the portuguese version of Photoshop and Illustrator.
Changing the language in Adobe Application Manager preferences and re-downloading Photoshop changed its language but the very same procedure didn't look like to work with Illustrator.
Can I have to setup something else in order to make it work?

Ok, I figured out whats the problem. I configured Netflix on my smart TV (LG 47LW6500) and gives me the option to choose audio and subtitles. Then configured my preference on the Netflix web page and set default audio to english. And it is actually working with an exception, the default audio will be english unless there is an other language that has better audio, for example, if the movie has 3 languages English (Stereo), Spanish (Stereo) and Portuguese (Stereo) english will be default, but if the theres a case were 1 of the languages is not stereo but better, as 5.1 Dolby, the better audio will be automatically selected as default, for example if English (Stereo), Spanish (Stereo) and Portuguese (5.1 Dolby), then the movie will play in Portuguese, no matter what your default preference is.
There is no way to fix this, because the ATV does not give the option to change the audio language on Netflix (It does on iTunes), and and Netflix App is omitting the web page preferences and the ATV preferences. Basically is and App problem, I don't know who developed the App, but the problem is definitely the app, that has not implemented all of the options the API allows.

How to STOP OS X from automatically changing between language input methods

I want to know if there is a way in OS X Leopard to stop the system from automatically changing the language input method. I use English and Japanese on my computer, but this would apply to anyone using more than one input method.
For example, when I click on a Japanese-language file, the system automatically changes input to Kotoeri (the Japanese-language input method). When I then click on an English-language file it usually, but not always, changes back to English input. But I almost never want to TYPE in Japanese. I just need to be able to read Japanese and to cut and paste from Japanese language files. It is very annoying when I start typing in an English-language file and find the input method has been changed to kotoeri without me realizing it—everything comes out in meaningless Japanese. When I want to type in Japanese, I want to manually change to the Japanese input system. That is, I want English to always be the default input method even if I am manipulating Japanese-language files.
So, I’m wondering if there’s a way to set the computer so that it never AUTOMATICALLY switches between the input methods. I want to be able to switch only manually. In the old days of System 7, 8, and 9, there was a third-party control panel you could get that would do this (I think it was called Stay There!) and I don't remember this being a problem in Tiger or earlier versions of OS X. Is anyone aware of any way to do this in Leopard?

Well, I do have it set that way, and I can look up there to see where I am, but in the work I do time is critical and I move back and forth between the two languages frequently. It is really a pain and a waste of time to have to look and make a change that should be unnecessary. The problem is not so much that I don't know where I am. It's that I don't want to ever have to think I MIGHT be in anything but English input unless I specifically want to be. In other words, I need to be able to forget about this problem even being a possibility.

Changing Audio Language in Netflix (Latin America)

Hi all,
I´m having issues with Netflix in Latin America from an Apple TV. Many movies have three languages (spanish, english and portuguese) and depending the availabitty it starts by default in spanish. I prefer english but i can´t find the way to change the audio language, I´ve found out how to change subtitules but I can´t find the way to change audio language.
I alredy tried changing the defalut audio options on the Apple Tv general seetings but that haven´t changed a thing. It seems to be a limitation on iOS devices cause I´m also experiencing the same thing on my iPhone 4.

Usaba Netflix en mi PS3 y cambiar el audio a otro idioma era una sencillez.
Desde que Netflix lanzó para iOS y Apple TV, he notado que es imposible cambiar el audio (en mi iPhone), solo hay opciones para subtítulos. En el Apple TV, algunas películas se reproducen por defecto en español y no puedo cambiarlas al audio en inglés.
Me gusta más la interfaz en Apple TV (y uso mi iPhone como remoto) que en PS3, por eso la molestia mía, si no, no me importara tanto.
Sugiero que todos hagamos un "feedback" a Apple y/o llamemos a Netflix Servicio al Cliente para presionar para que mejoren el servicio, es un problema nuevo porque a nosotros los latinoamericanos nos gusta más escuchar el audio en el idioma original y leer subtítulos, estamos acostumbrados a eso.

Can't change finder language

I use OS x mavericks. At first time I install OS X I choose Thai for default language. but after installed I change default language to English then everything change to English but in Finder still Thai (ex. Download, Document, Movie.). How can I change it to English.

There is no need to use a different keyboard to type Portuguese, if that is your question. All the special characters can be made via option/alt deadkeys from the standard US keyboard (if that is what you have). See

They do use a unique kind of hardware keyboard in Brazil (ABNT), which you could buy and connect via usb or bluetooth. You would also need to download and install a special keyboard layout to go with it. This article has info:

I have already asked this query many times but i haven't got any reply .
Can Active Studio,Architect and Administrator be viewed in language other than English ?
I have changed the language to German <globalization culture="de-DE"/>
but the changes i can see are only in the Active viewer.
I would like to know wether the language changes made in web.config file shows a language change only on Active Viewer.Is it possible to view other components like Active Studio,Architect and Administrator in languages other than English.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi, I have gotten the language to change by changing the browsers language. In IE 7.0 go to Tools, Internet Options, and select the Language button. Then add the language you wish to see, click the move up button until it is first. Save, and restart your browser. If the translations are present, they will be displayed. I tested this w/ French and Japanese.
