Change Number and Process Route

Hi Experts,
I have seen in the Change Master Web-UI is a register for Process Route.
When I'm trying to create a Process Route, the Activities are missing.
Where is the customizing to set Process Route Activities for the Change Master?
And where is the customizing to create the event to start the Process Route?
I have allready done some customizing for the SAP Case Management and the Engineering Record.
I hope you can help me.

To customize process route to the change number in the Web-UI the following steps has to be done:
Create Activities
To create activities use TA SRMCUSTOMIZING: Records Management --> Customizing for Process Route --> Create or Change Activities and Activity Functions
Create new entries depending on ECN_DIS
Define Activities for GOS-Objects
To define activities for GOS-Objects use TA SPRO: SAP Customizing Implementation Guide --> Logistics - General --> Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) --> PLM Web User Interface --> Objects in PLM Web UI --> Process Route --> Define Activities for GOS Objects for Process Routes
Create new entries depending on the activities created before and for the Object Type PLM_ECN
Check Agent Assignment for all created Standard Tasks
Now it is prossilbe to add steps to the process route to a change number.
To start the workflow the following steps has to be done:
Define Type Linkages for Workflow
TA SWETYPV - Type linkages:
Create an entry if not existing
Object Category: CL
Object Type: /PLMB/CL_PROCESS_ROUTING_WF_BO
Event: START_WORKFLOW
Receiver Type: WS00100012
Receicer Function Module: SWW_WI_CREATE_VIA_EVENT_IBF
Linkage Activated: X
Behavior Upon Error Feedback: 3 - Do not change linkage
Define Instance Linkages for Workflow
TA SWEINST - Instance linkages:
Create an entry if not existing
Object Category: CL
Object Type: /PLMB/CL_PROCESS_ROUTING_WF_BO
Event: STOP_WORKFLOW
Receiver Type: WS00100012
Receicer Function Module: SWW_WI_COMP_EVENT_RECEIVE_IBF
Linkage Activated: X
Behavior Upon Error Feedback: 3 - Do not change linkage

Changed number and facetime is still using old number

I added a 3rd line/iphone to my AT&T account. When i bought the iphone at the apple store I asked for a 626 area code but was told the only option I had was a 312 area code. I then called AT&T to try to change the number to a 626 number but was told I couldn't add a line from a different market to my account. So I transferred the line to a second account by itself in order to get a 626 area code for my nephew. Now that iphone will not allow me to facetime it using the 626 area code which is the iphone's number now. I have to facetime the old 312 number in order to connect to it, but that number was canceled minutes after i purchased the iphone. And when my nephew facetimes me, my iphone displays the old 312 number. When I try to facetime him I get a "facetime failed" error message. iphone has been restored and has 4.1. Phone number under phone settings has been changed to the correct 626 one. Can't think of anything else. Anyone experiencing the same problem? Thanks

I downloaded the facetime app. I have it going through my email address. Now my wife has Iphone 4. When we first bought her phone, ATT gave her a dumby number for the reason of switching from another carrier. After her contract was up, we ported her number to the iphone. Dumping the other number for her orignal.
So when I tried facetime by calling her phone it would not connect. I was puzzled. I tried it a few more times and still nothing. I decided to take her phone and call me and it worked. I was confused when another number showed up. After pondering this for some time, I then noticed the number was the dumby number ATT gave her. This number was dumped 2 1/2 months ago.
Now I know facetime for Mac is just a beta version, but does anyone have an idea * is going on here?

Change number mandatory for display routing

Hello friends,
Through OP5A I hade made the change number field mandatory for routing.
System ask for change number while changing or creating the routing.
But my question is system should not ask for change number during display routing. ( If a item had gone through many changes during a period. By default system should take latest only)
Is there any way? or some development is required

Hi,
This requirement is genuine but liitle tricky..
Follow th procedure as below:
in OP5A:
1. Double click on PP Task Lists. Do not select the Change Number mandatory there.
2. Click on Influencing Button
3. Double click on Transaction Code:
Here, select the "Change No." as required and in the Contents filed, put CA01 and Pres Enter.
Afterwards put CA02 and Press enter.
4. Now Press on Influences Button.
Here you can see that the Transaction Code - Change number is mandatory for CA01 and CA02.
But not for CA03
Remeber to press enter after inputing the Transaction codes, otherwise those will not apper in influences..
Try this revert for further discussion.

Delete link between a DMS document and a change number

Hi. I've associated several DMS documents to a change number, using CC02 transaction. Now I'm trying to delete these links. I can neither delete them nor delete change number. I've marked "Deletion indicator", but I don't know how I have to continue.

please use report MCDOKDEL: This report is used to delete the Documents which are marked for deletion.
To delete the linkage between change number and object link, please go to CC02 and select button "Objects". Here you can see all linked objects to this change number. Select tab "Documents" and mark the document for which you want to delete the link. Afterwards please press the delete button. Then the linkage to this document should be deleted.

Configuring Process Route

Hello Guru's
While configuring the system for Process Route for an ER type, I had the event "INPROCESS" set at status 10 under STATUS ADMINISTRATION profile and also to activate the change master at status 10. When I create the Engineering Record and navigate to status 10 I get the lead change number and also I can see the work item sent icon( yellow icon) next to agent's name in the Process Route Tab. But I don't see the same work item in my Work Overview - Workflow inbox until I move the ER status to 20 ( ie 10-15-20) which is to me is little weird.
There is no event set for status 20.
Also in Workflow Inbox I am not able to see the work item under Process Routing Work Item. The work item shows only in Eng Record Work Item.
Am I missing any configuration here.
Please advice.

a) After changing to status 10. When I try to refresh the PLM inbox,it takes long time and just keep spinning.
b) Please see the attached screen shot of SWEL. Kindly let me know if I am missing a config.
c) Attached is the screen shot of SWI1
d) Work Item shows in SBWP and not PLM inbox.

Error while changing BOM with change number

Hi ALL, Please help me with followed error message, I am using ECM. I created ECR and converted to ECO and then released.
Object management record cannot be generated
Message no. 29046
Diagnosis
You want to change the BOM with the entered change number.
One of the following situations triggered this error message:
1. The indicator that allows automatic generation is not set for object type BOM in the change master.
2. The indicator generation only on initial creation is set for object type BOM
3. You are processing a change request.
System response
The system checks whether the indicator object management record will be generated is set in the change master.
If the indicator generation only on initial creation is set, the system checks whether the BOM exists in the system.
Procedure
If you are authorized to change the change master, execute the following steps:
For 1.)
Set this indicator for object type BOM or create the control record in the change master.
For 2.)
If the BOM already exists in the system and the generation only on initial creation indicator is set, the system can no longer generate the control record automatically.
In this case you have to add the object control record to the change master first, then you can change the BOM in relation to the change number.
For 3.)
You cannot generate any object control records for a change request.

With your question regarding changing BOM with change number it looks lke there may be problem in defining the Object types,objects.Moreover whenever converted to ECO you need to enter into cs02 tcode for changing the bom with relevant change number and valid from date.

Change Number Issue in CG02

Hi All,
I created a change number and uploaded certain identifiers for some substances. After uploading i am amazed to see that the previous data(Identifiers) available are overwritten and also all the property tree values are deleted. Now could you please tell me how can i retrieve the old change number data again, or is there any possibilities to delete the existing change number. Note : I tried to delete but i got a message that "Change Numbers not deleted(Materials Exists). Please help me on this issue.

your result is "curious". The use of "change numbers" is not easy (not to say very tricky) in EH&S. Could you please provide more details regaridng how you have prepared the set up of the change number and how you have applied the process?
Normally this is the process: you generate a change number so that data should be valid starting on some day (lets assum 01.01.2011). Now you should be able to do an upload by using the change number you have defined. Now If you take a look "today" in the system you should not "see" the loaded data.But you can change the "key date" in CG02. If you do so and you would select 01.01.2011 you should find the loaded values as an "add on". Now depending on your set up a number of results could come up.
E.G. one possibility to use change number is to prepare DG data whcih should be valid in the future. To do so the "old" data must be "deleted" in some sense so that you have "unique" DG data starting this day.
One further posibility is to perform an "update" on an existing datan record using change numbers.
So it might happen that you have now "deleted" your "old" data by "wrong" using the change number approach.
To my knowledge there is no way back. The EH&S system has performed a "split" in the data records in such a way that the old data does have noe the "Del" falg and is valid until "yesterday" and the new data record are valid from now on not having the del flag.
So I am sorry. There is in my opinion o easy way to get the old data "back".

Avoiding old change number utilisation in BOM

Dear All
My Client Situation is like explained below
We have a Team called "ME" This team is responsible to create /modify the BOM whenever a modification is to be required
Change number is mandatory,but the user is giving the past change number and modifying the BOM.This is to be rectified
i.e., user should not use the old change number

How to find Change number for a Material

Hi,
If we know the material number and Revision level then how can we find the Change Number of that material.
Is there any table in which i can find Change number for a revision level or is there any Function module available.

1.I assume you have created a change number without release key in CC01.
2.In CC02,for the same change number goto object types and include the check box against material for the first 3 check box and
save the change number.
3.Now check in MM02 for any material master changes or I would suggest you to create a new change number with valid from
date as current date,include the settings for material under object types and then check in MM02.
Check and revert.

Change number in CS12

Hi ,
Our client's requirement is that when ever i create change number for any material, it should get displayed in the transaction CS12.
It is not at all comming in the report CS12.
Iam not sure about the role payed by the "validity period" of the change number and the "validity period" of the BOM in this case.
Pl. let me know what should be the case for this issue( change number not appearing in CS12).
Also i have another issue regarding the same topic.Iam raisng this as a seperate query i the forum.

I have creted a BOM.
Then created a Change number and based on the change number, i altered one material, with validity of this change number in the future date. System failed to display the change number of the material in CS12.
Again i repeated the same exercise with the validy of the change change number in the PAST. System displayed the change number.

Change Number Creation

Hi,
Can anyone worked on CC01 transaction which will create Change Number. I have written BDC for this. Now i got a scenario like i will get the file and in that we have MatBom, Material and Alternate dates. I need to assign alternate date to the respective MatBom and Material according to the input file.
I have created a BDC for this but i have problem with transaction while assigning the first alternate date to the corresponding MatBom and Material.
I am looking a BAPI for this. In that BAPI we need this functionality assigning alternate dates to the corresponding MatBom and Material.
or else can anyone knows how to handle this assigning each alternate date to the corresponding MatBom and Material.

As I have mentioned include the check boxes for Revision Level Active , Release active and then save the
datas.then referehs the SAP menu or else logout and then login and then execute CC01 T code and check
whether now in the input screen are you able to see the the options for without release key & with release
key.
Select the radio button for with release key and create the change number and then after saving and then
creating the BOM,then you can come to CC02 T code enter the change number set the Release key
values as 01.
check & revert back.

I think i am some where wrong in explaining. My question is i have material number value and i have plant value now for this material number and plant i have to fetch the change number and the change details.
I just tried debugging and found the table AEOI which has the material number and plant in the field OBJKEY but the problem is in many rows the values of the plant is empty and one more problem is apart from material and plant i find there is one more field getting displayed i am not very sure which field is that.
I hope i am clear please let me know in case i am not. For your reference my requirement in short.
Input : Material Number , plant and BOM type
Output : change number and change details

Routing Process in Change Number !

Hi Folks,
I am new to the PP module.So, I want know what is Routing ? How it can be created ?
And what all the dependencies one has to look for while creating ?
At the same time I have one issue regarding CN (Change Number ).
1. My Client is having one CN with the N number of routings associated with it.
2. I want to change effectivity of one routing among these N to current date.
3. Also I want to change another routing effectivity among these N to specific date.
4. After doing 2 & 3 I am updating the CN i.e. Change Number.
But when I update the CN all the other routings are also getting updated, which i do not want to happen.If I do not update the CN , changes made to the routings are not getting updated.
So, if any one has a answer for the above , please let me know.

Change components and Routing of production order

Hi, experts, I have such requirement that change quantity of a component or add a component, add a operation into current routing.
I have look up answer, but can not find the right one.
BAPI_PRODORD_CHANGE only can change header data.
BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN seems can not change production orders, it is for service orders.
CO_XT_ORDER_CHANGE will assign a new routing number and a new bom number.
Could somebody give me some FM and BAPI for reference? Thanks in advance.

Follow the below sample steps for changing component quantity:
DATA:
    l_methods TYPE bapi_alm_order_method,
    it_boperations TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF bapi_alm_order_operation_e WITH HEADER LINE,
    it_components TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF bapi_alm_order_component_e WITH HEADER LINE,
    it_components1 TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF bapi_alm_order_component WITH HEADER LINE.
1. Call BAPI :BAPI_ALM_ORDER_GET_DETAIL , it will give existing order component details.
CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_ALM_ORDER_GET_DETAIL'
    EXPORTING
      number        = <production order number>
    TABLES
      et_operations = it_boperations
      et_components = it_components
      return        = it_bapiret2.
2. Move it_components to components table compatibel to BAPI "BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN".
LOOP AT it_components.
MOVE-CORRESPONDING it_components TO it_components1.
_*"Note here while moving change the component quantity"*_
APPEND it_components1.
CLEAR it_components1.
