Hi Mr.jurgen

Their need is to replace Y name instead of X name in Release strategy.

  • Problem in creating Release group for Release Procedure for PR

    Hi Experts,
I could not able to create Release Group ( 01 & 02 ) for Release Procedure and assigning it with a Class
( Z_CLASS_PR ) in Set up Procedure with Classification.
The following error is getting displayed.
Please check release classes (see long text)..
How to over come this problem.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Nani

    Release group:
You are only allowed to use one class for each release object (1=PReq, 2=Purchase order). When you use the overall release (as of Release 4.0A), you are only allowed to use one class for the overall release or individual release. If you use the overall release for purchase requisitions, you must mark this for the document type (transaction OMEB, flag for V_T161-GSFRG) and the release group (transaction OMGQ, flag for V_T16FG-FRGFG). In the overall release, the system only takes into account characteristics that are identical for all items. If, for example, item 10 of a purchase requisition contains material group 001 and item 20 contains material group 002, the material group is set to BLANK for the strategy determination.

  • F110 Payment run authorisation for release of funds

    Hi All,
we are in the process of streamlining our SAP banking process with Westpac's integrated banking system.
Specifically the AP and payroll process.  Under the current system we upload the payment file to their online system and we then have two signatories who sign in and authorise the release of funds online.
Under the new process, we want to remove any manual handling of the payment files.  It is assumed that the authorisation for the release of funds is done in SAP and there is no online signature for the release of the funds.
The only way i can think of to do this is by controlling access the payment run process and have our signatories process one element of the payment run each I.e.
    1)    AP clerk creates the payment proposal
    2)    Signatory 1 executes the payment proposal
    3)    Signatory 2 Executes the print of the payment run (this stage produces our output file which is sent directly to the bank)
However, this seems a little clunky and our signatories are not necessarily SAP users.  does anyone have suggestions for a more elegant solutions to this?
    many thanks
    Phil.

Please work with you Security Team. The solution for this is:
    1. Create Three differenet Roles
For Scenario 1) AP clerk creates the payment proposal
    Solution. Give in Role 1
    Key        Action
    02         Edit parameters
    03         Display parameters
For Scenario  2) Signatory 1 executes the payment proposal
    Solution. Give in Role 2
    11         Execute proposal
    12         Edit proposal
    13         Display proposal
    14         Delete proposal
    15         Create payment medium proposal
For Scenario  3) Signatory 2 Executes the print of the payment run (this stage produces our output file which is sent directly to the bank)
    Solution. Give in Role 3
    21         Execute payment run
    23         Display payment run
24         Delete payment run payment data
25         Create payment media of payment run
26         Delete payment orders of payment run
    31         Print payment medium manually
to See the above option follow the below path:
    T-Code F110>Enviornemnt>Authorization
    Hope this helps.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

  • Release procedure triggering for fields not classified

    Hello experts,
The classification for release procedure for PO in our current system are using 3 fields:
    1) Company code
    2) P.Org.
    3) Currency : >0 currency unit
Now, when we change an existing text in the PO, no release procedure is triggered. But in case, if we add a new text to the PO (any new text at header or item level), the release procedure is triggered and goes for approval. Please guide me as why the addition of text to a PO is triggering the release procedure and what should I do to avoid so.
    Thanks.

    Hello Biju,
The reply from ABAP team is as below:
I checked all enhancements mentioned by you in trailing mail.
No active code logic found. "

  • Release procedure for ASSET

    Hi SAP guru
I am having the requirement for release procedure as follows
Purchase order with  Asset (Item category)   - Value  Up to 50,000/-  will be approved by GM
Asset (Item category)   - Value  more than 50,000/-  will be approved by Chairman.
    Purchase order other than ASSET
Value  Up to 100,000/-  will be approved by GM
more than 100,000/-  will be approved by  Chairman.
I checked in CEKKO, the field KNTTP - Account Assignment Category component is not available.
Could you please tell me how to solve this issue?
Good suggestion will be rewarded with full points.
    Thanks in advance
    Anand

    Hello Anand:
The release strategy for PO only contain fields on the purchase order header (EKKO) and the account assignment is at item level (EKPO), however you can add the account assignment as customer field on structure CEKKO (CEKKOZZ structure) and fill the information on this field with the user exit M06E0004 (transactions SMOD, CMOD)
Keep in mind that the CEKKO structure has the value of all the purchase order (CEKKO-GNETW), not item by item. It means that you could not check on the release strategy the value of all the assets included in the purchase order.
Additionally check if there are cases in your installation where a purchase orders could contain several items for more that one account assignment.
I hope this help, if you have any question please let me know it.
    Best regards,
    Jose Luis

  • Release procedure for PR

    Hi,
I need to upgrade the existing release procedure for Purchase requistion.
I have created new release groups, release codes and strategies.
I have created new characteristics and have added that to the existing class which was being used.
Now i am not able to see the purchase requistions getting picked up for release, both the new release and the existing release are not working now.
I need my release at the header level and i am working on the release procedure with classification.
Let me know what is going wrong or do i have to any thing further.
    Thanks,
    Regards
    Raghavendra

    Hi Raghavendra,
    IMG>MM>Purchasing>Purchase Requisition>Release Procedure>Procedure with classification>Check Release Strategies
Here all the nodes must be in green color then ur release strategies will be fine.
For more check the following link for Release Procedure.

  • Release procedure problem

    Hi Gurus,
I created a release procedure for PO. i created a single chs based on total amount of PO and assigned it to a single class. then configured it for 5 release codes. all the simulation is working fine.
But when I created the PO worth of 6 laks, which is above the level of last release code >=5 laks. when i go for release in ME29N or ME28 its giving an information message saying "document is not applicable for release procedure. in ME28 i am getting "message no documents found" for my release code and release group combination.
Where should i have gone wrong. give me some suggestions.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Poorna.

    Hi,
Your Maximum amount of PO which is applicable for release strategy is 5 Lakhs for your last release code.
Now if you create the PO for 6 lakhs then how the system will consider the release strategy.
Thats why you will not find the same in ME29N or ME28 to release the PO.
So you need to change your Characteristics value for last release code from = 5 lakhs to >= 5lakhs.
then system will consider the release str for any value above 5 lakhs for that last release code,

  • Work flow in Release Procedure

    Hi all,
What are the steps involved to configur Work flow for the Release of Purchase
    orders?
    Yoga

    Hi Yoga,
Work flow can be configured for release procedure through userexit M06B0001.
U need to assign the user id to the respective Release codes. Once this has been done, then u will get a mail in Business workplace inbox upon creation of PR/PO. If u double click the work flow item it will take u to ME54n transaction for approval. We have to take Basis team help to define authorisation for Each user. Since the User has to approve only for his relevant role.
    Hope this helps a bit.
Reward if u find this useful.

  • PR Workflow for release strategy

    Hi,
Could you please let me know the steps how to configure the workflow for the PR release strategy for both item level as well as header level.
    Thanks in advance
    Shp

    Hello,
If you wish to work with procedure 1, define the following:
    Release codes
    Release indicators
    Assignment of release indicators
    Release prerequisites
    Determination of release strategy
    1. Release codes
    Create the release codes.
    2. Release indicators
Define release indicators and branch to the detail screen. Here you define whether fixed purchase requisitions may be changed by Materials Planning, for example, and whether an RFQ or a purchase order may be created from the requisition.
You can also determine the field selection here.
In the area "Changes after the start of the release procedure", you specify whether a requisition may be changed after the release procedure has begun. You specify whether the strategy has to be redetermined after changes, or whether the release procedure has to start all over again from the beginning.
This parameter bears a relation to the parameter "Value change". For example, previous releases are not cancelled if the value of the requisition item after the change does not exceed plus 10% of its original value.
    Attention:
Be sure to create a release indicator (e.g. B for "blocked") that serves as the starting point for subsequent indicators. Do not set the indicators for release for the issue of RFQs and PO on the detail screen for this indicator.
Also create a release indicator characterizing the released status. Set the indicators for release for the issue of RFQs and PO on the detail screen.
    3. Assignment of release indicators
Assign a release indicator in dependence on the status of the release.
    Example:
You create a release strategy S1 consisting of two release codes 01 and 02. Release with 01 is a prerequisite for release with 02. If release has been effected with 01, the requisition has been given the "all clear" for the issue of RFQs.
You have created the release indicators B (blocked), 1 (cleared for issue of RFQs) and 2 (cleared for RFQs and PO).
Now enter the following as assignment:
    Strategy   C1  C2  C3 ...
    S1                           B (blocked)
    S1         X                1 (RFQ)
    S1         X   X            2 (RFQ/PO)
    4. Release prerequisites
Define which release codes are involved in a release strategy. Specify whether a code is set for a release status following release, and whether one release status is a prerequisite for another (+).
    Example:
    Strategy   Code  C1  C2  C3 ...
    S1         01    X
    S1         02    +   X
    5. Determination of the release strategy
Determine the conditions under which each release strategy is assigned. The criteria are account assignment category, material group, plant, and value of the requisition item.
