how to change the standard price ?
is there any thing like standard TC.

You need to go through the following transactions:
CK74N - Create Additive Costs.
CK11n - Create Material Costs.
Then the field gets updated.

If the only solution is to change the sap standard program, simply change the program, it will prompt for an access key. This key can be retrieved in the SAP support portal (service.sap.com) at keys and requests, sccr keys, register object.
Sometimes these actions are outsourced to a competence center, so maybe youre not entitled to do this, in any case ask a resident senior developer for support.

Modify the Field Type of standard Table fields in a Query

Hello. I have a question.
Is there a way to "modify" the field type for standard table fields that are included in a Query?
I made a simple query out of a join of tables, but several fields have a lot of decimals, and I would like to present them in the query without any decimals, just as a regular "N" field.
I tried the possibility of creating extra local fields where all I do is transfer the value to the new "N" field, but I have many fields like this, so if there's a better way; I'd prefer that.
Maybe somewhere in the InfoSet there's a way to modify the type of the standard table fields?

These are assigned in data declaration as gv_name and gv_date.

Hi,
You can archive this by making change in SAP script only. You don't need to touch the standard prgm.
Debug the script and find it out which fields (In script editor) are printing these text on layout... then just replace them by creating your own text...
You can create a text in TTDTG table,, like ZZPO_NAME = ( Document Name),, and use this filed in the script editor.

One of the field is disabled(input not possible) after upgrade in FPE1

Hi ABAP Gurus,
I am working on FPE1 Transaction Code and i just find out that after upgrade one of the field on screen is not input possible but before upgrade we have that field as input/output possible .
so now we want same functionality what we have before . so which path do i need to follow because its standard screen .
any suggestion is appreciated .

Tabular Forms - how to change the color of text when the field is disabled

Okay, i've taken a look at your example.
The column formatting does not work on the input fields. The help on the item says that it generates a span with a style attribute. This would work for a display field, not for an input field.
Css like i've written should be in the style tags, put up in the header section of the page (page -> edit -> header region).
You've already put script tags there, the style tags go there aswell. You shouldn't even need to put your script tags in the header region. Just put your code up in the javascript functions region (without the script tags).
However, i tested in firefox and here color works on an input field, changing the font color. In IE it does not do this. Cross browser implementations and such, not much to do about it here. See http://stackoverflow.com/questions/602070/changing-font-colour-in-textboxes-in-ie-which-are-disabled.
I did notice that you build your form with a bunch of input fields, which you disable through javascript in the footer of the region. Then on submit, you set the disabled to false again for all those fields! If you want those fields to always be submitted to the server, why wouldn't you use the readonly attribute? Readonly fields are always submitted, and can't be edited by the user. Plus, readonly fields CAN be styled however you want! You can get rid of the javascript code in your header then.
Even the javascript in the footer is not necessary. If you just add 'readonly="true"' (without single quotes) to the element attributes of your items (edit column -> column attributes region) = no javascript at all (less maintenance).

Using BADI to change the field value in standard transaction ME21N

In transaction ME21N to create PO, i have a field where i want to allocate the batch ( CHARG ) NONRETG to all the PO's that are created. I have a BADI for that, however i do i implement the BADI so that the Batch 'NONRETG' is automatically allocated to all the PO's that are created. Please advise whether a USER EXIT would be better or a BADI would do the work. Right answer would be rewarded.

Incase you are going to implemet userexit U can use the Exit: MM06E005.

How to change the Field Symbol, so Adobe Forms takes it as a Table?

Hi guys,
I created an Field Symbol, in a Interface which I use for Adobe Forms. The type of the Field Symbol is STANDARD TABLE, and this field symbol I fill with data from another program.
But the problem is that in adobe forms, this Field Symbol is taken as TEXT FIELD and not as Table... and this shows me a Dump because it can't convert Internal Table to type C (the dump is like that).
What I need, is how to change the Field Symbol, so Adobe Forms takes it as a Table?
I looked at Adobe Form, and found this:
The Type Category of the Field Symbol is DICTIONARY TYPE and I think I need to change it to Internal Table as shown in the right picture.
Does someone have any idea?

To what i understand your requirement, you need to pass data from Field symbol to internal table in Adobe form.
You have done it correct partially. I have replicated your scenario and steps are below -

E-recruiting: Requisition management - Possible to change the field names??

Hi to all e-recruiting experts,
Need some assistance pertaining to the requisition management portion in e-recruiting.
We have showed the standard SAP E-recruiting requisition bsp pages to our client and they have requested changes to the field names as they feel that the standard names are not intuitive enough.
For instance,
The field - "Hierarchy Level" - They have requested to change to "Job Grade"
and the field "Functional Area" to "Type of Work".
Is there any way that i can change the name of the field through configurations?
I understand that in a infotype, we can change the field name through translation. But can we change it in BSP? I was told to explore on how to configure via OTR.
Can anyone share on the steps involved?

Well quite easy,
create a context for an otr text (E-Recruiting are in package PAOC_RCF_UI). You will find that in SOTR_EDIT.
Activate this context with implementing BADI BTFR_CONTEXT.
After doing this, adjust context in SOTR_EDIT with Go To -> Context -> Adjust.
Eventually refresh otr buffer with Transaction /$otr
For one text there can be more than one OTR Text in backend, so you might change more than one.

Change in Expected Delivery date (EDD) field in the PO after final release

Hello Experts,
There is a business requirement, whereby after PO final release is completed & when the PO is released for further processing, no further changes should be possible, except for the expected delivery date (EDD) field in the Delivery schedule tab of the PO Item details. Other than this, no changes should be possible in the PO, neither qty, nor price, not even the simple PO text should be allowed to get changed. In other words no field should be allowed to change.
Ideally, except the EDD field, other all fields should be in grey mode, or atleast changes in any of the PO fields (except EDD) should not be allowed to get saved after the PO is final released.
Please let me know if SAP provides any such facility, whereby you can selectively choose certain fields (like EDD field) on which Release Strategy should not be applied & changes should be allowed in these fields even after PO final release.

Donu00B4t see the fields after to change the append structure

Hi experts,
My problem is the following. I enhanced a Extraction Structure, I activated the append structure, and I assigned the Infosource to the datasource and it was ok. Then, I had to do some changes to the append structure, I again activated it, replicate the datasource, but I don´t see the changes. When I replicated the datasource for first time I saw the fields of the append structure, even I did the transfer rules. Then, when I did the changes I could not see more the new changes, but I can see the fields that they have not been changed.
The changes were:
- I changed the name of the one field because it was longer of 16 car. (before ZZ_CLASSIFICATION, after ZZ_CLASSIFCAT).
- I added two fields more.
I am not sure How works the RSA3 transaction. On it I entered the datasource name and I pressed the "Strat Extraction" and the system show to me a message "1558 register selected", then I pressed "Display List" but I can´t see the changes
Do you have any idea about what happen?

Usually, when I try to enhance my DS, I delete DS-IS assignment. Then do what you've done already. If you don't delete the assignment first, then often the old info remains.
So, delete this assignment and repeat all steps again.

Here is the reason i need to do this:
The data is loaded by DTP in process chain. Overlaping requests are deleted. But, iIn some cases requests with the same selection options need not to be deleted. My idea was to change selection options in Manage(infocube) with Abap program without changing selection options in DTP filter, so that the system would not recognize requests as "overlaping requests".
So, where is the information about shown in the field Selection Options is stored? In which tables?

How do I change Resource Cost Center only and retain historical cost center data?

How would a Project Server Admin accommodate changes in the resource's cost center itself?
For example, Ken (timesheet submitter) records Feb time in cost center C1, but then transfers to a new team, which is in cost center C2 on Mar 1st.
When I change his cost center at the resource level, reporting indicates all of his previous C1 time as a resource under the C2 cost center, and all of his C1 time looks like it's incorrectly in C2.
I am thinking about adding custom resource fields to track these changes, but it seems like a lot of extra work, if something already exists that I can use.

AFAIK, there is no way to do this OOB as Resource Fields are not 'time-phased'.
A 'possible' alternative, like you mentioned, could be be to use custom fields to track, the change (like Effective Date, Old Cost Center), and then somehow write a query to consider the old cost center between the dates. I have not tried this personally,
just a thought.
