hello forum, i am not sure this is the right forum,
does anybody knows how to edit one profile and change the E-mail Address ? my profile contains a very old e-mail address that I want to change,I have tried everything I know without any chnace.

No, i don't. if i did i would have tried it. do you have to sign up an appled ID for iCloud? If the answer is yes then they should mention that in the set-up instructions.

Hello can you tell me how to terminate my account(DELETE IT!) or change the e-mail. I went to privacy setting and my e-mail was shown, but nothing about changing it. I went to profile settings and there was nothing about deleting it so any help would be highly appreciated!

Deleting the iTunes account is not the solution as you will very likely lose any and all purchases ever made with the account.
If you cannot find the option on the site, contact iTunes support.

How to change the default mail server??? Please help.

I need to change the default mail server to my yahoo account. When I had my PC this was easy but I cannot figgure it out on the MAC. I am in China and I need to inform my insurance company of some information or they are going to cancel a policy. When I go to their site for email contact what pops up is the apple email, which I do not have an account for and ofcourse does not work. Their email address does not show and I cannot find it anywhere so I need to change the default to my yahoo account. On my PC this was easy and when I went to a site that had a contact but no email address, my yahoo account would come up. I hope I am explaining this correctly. I really need to do this fast as the letter I got took some time to get here and I just returned from some field work so I have about 2 or 3 days to get the information to them. Thank you.

This does not demonstrate anything for me, since it brings up a Compose window for Mail, with my preferred account as the From address. This happens whether I access with Safari, or with Firefox.
The point that I am trying to make, is that in OSX, there is no way to have web mail access become the default mail method -- it only works with a true mail client, for POP, IMAP or .mac access on your Desktop.
If you have the type of yahoo account that can be setup for POP access with Mail, then when you click, you can choose your yahoo address as the From address to send from.
Of course you can insert the address in a new message with your Yahoo web mail, but I have understood you to want to have the message start containing the info from one of the pages on the site?

HT204053 help. I updated to IOS 7 yesterday , and changed my e-mail. But my icloud hasn't changed the e-mail and won't accept any paswords!!!

Changed my e-mail address.
today tried to update my apps on my iphone and it is asking for the Apple ID password for the old e-mail. I have tried that password and the new one, it won't take anything. Neither will icloud. I am completely locked out of updating anything.

Please follow these steps in order to get it working properly again.
Please change your Apple ID back to your old email address (that you used as Apple ID before) here:http://appleid.apple.com
Then go to all your devices - iPhones, iPads, Mac etc. - ("Settings > iCloud") and delete your iCloud account from this devices (+ turn off Find My iPhone, but I guess it will ask you that anyway)
After that go back to http://appleid.apple.com sign in again, and now change your Apple ID again to your new email address.
Finally, set up your iCloud account on all your devices again.
Now, everything should working properly again.

On apple website, seraching on support, the article HT1918 explains.
Log into your apple ID and edit your personal information, where email can be changed as well. All applications as itunes stores, apple store and icloud use this same apple ID, so be aware of this.

I changed my e-mail address, but everytime I try to do an update on my imac it shows my OLD e-mail address and not the one that I am logged in with, I have tried to rectify this and cant.

How do I change my E-Mail address (which is also my Apple ID)?

I currently have an Apple ID which is also my current E-Mail address.
I am switching ISPs and need to change my E-Mail address to the new provider.
(E-Mailaddress@old provider.com will become E-Mailaddress@new provider.net) (Switching from Cox Cable to my city's fiber-optic system)
If I do that, will I still have access to my current paid & free apps on my iphone 4S?
What about an iPad (3rd generation) that I plan on purchaing in the next couple of days?
I currently do not have any music nor other purchases on that accout.

If you are being prompted for her Apple ID password when updating apps it means that there are one or more apps on your phone that were purchased with her ID. (Apps and their updates are permanently tied to the ID used to purchase them regardless of the settings on your phone.) It's possible that you are inadvertently syncing her apps to your phone. . The only way to stop this is to delete these apps from your phone. You may want to check which apps are checked on the Apps tab of your iTunes sync settings before syncing next time to be sure her apps aren't selected.
To change the Apple ID used for purchasing, go to Settings>Store>Apple ID, tap the ID shown, sign out, sign back in using the ID you want to use.

Keep being asked for password: Mail Help unhelpful

Last week I had to trash my keychains/passwords on the recommendation of Skype help. It solved my immediate problem but now I get asked for a password every time I launch Mail.
I've tried Mail help and got the following advice:
"To change the keychain lock settings:
Open Keychain Access, located in Applications/Utilities (or click the link provided on this page).
Select your login keychain, choose Edit > "Change Settings for Keychain 'login'."
To reduce the number of requests for your keychain password, deselect the option for the number of minutes of inactivity before the keychain is locked, or increase the number of minutes. You can also deselect "Lock when sleeping" option."
Trouble is, I see nothing that resembles a "login keychain".
Is the above the advice I need. If yes, what/where is my login keychain; if no, what now?

Thanks for the feedback. This means the login keychain itself was "there", just inaccessible for some reason. The actual keychains are stored in one of the following locations, depending on their applicability:
/System/Library/Keychains/
/Library/Keychains/
~/Library/Keychains/
login, in particular, being different for each user, is stored in ~/Library/Keychains/.
On my system, the System keychain is stored in /Library/Keychains/. Do you see a System keychain in more than one of the aforementioned locations? Maybe that's the reason you see more than one instance of it in Keychain Access.
I'm wondering now if the problem was just that there was something wrong with the ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.keychainaccess.plist preferences file. Guess we'll never know what happened here.
Note: For those not familiarized with the ~/ notation, it refers to the user's home folder. You can easily locate any of the folders referred to in this post by copying the file path here, doing Go > Go to Folder in the Finder, and pasting the file path there.

Hi,
You can change the e-mail subject to a subject of your choice by following way.
If you want to send a purchase order as (external) mail, for example, to a
vendor, you have to maintain the mail title in the condition record for the
output type (for example in Transaction MN05) on the 'Communication method' tab
page. Enter the mail title in the 'Text for cover page' field. You cannot
maintain an additional mail text.
