Change of name of months

Hi,
My client is located in Nepal and I want change of names of months i.e along with the English month description I want the Nepalese months also.Is it possible in SAP?

Names are usually dependend on the logon language .
if you want see english names together with Nepalese name in e.g. English logon, then you have to change the english namesm hwoever I dont know where and if the the field is long enough to take both..

Pl take a look at the Std Report RPUAUD00 used for Infotype Logging. The Report Documnentation details the steps needed to turn the logging for the PA infotypes, which in your case could be 0167,0168,0169 etc..

SBS 2011 - Need to change Machine name and IP address range

We had upgraded to SBS 2011 and new hardware 6 months ago, we have recently been aquired by a larger company and want us to comply with their machine naming conventions and change the IP address range to fit in with their corporate structure. They
will be supplying us with a 2011/2012 Domain controller, this is to be added to our existing network as the primary DC supplying DNS, DHCP, WSUS
We use our SBS box for DNS, DHCP, Exchange, File server, Print server
How difficult is this going to be? Is it actually possible, or do we need to wipe the SBS box and install from scratch?Any help on this matter would be appreciated

As said, you can't change the name of the server or the domain, but you can change the IP addresses.
The bad news is that you can't integrate SBS to a larger corporate network. SBS needs to be at the root domain of the forest and hold all FSMO roles, and it can't have any trusts.
If the corporate wants to bring in a DC of their own AD domain and wants all clients to be joined to that domain, you just can't use SBS anymore, it won't fit in. You need to inform your corporate IT about the situation, and you need to make a new plan.
You will need some kind of migration from SBS to standard products first before you can join to the corporate network structure.

This was a common bug in Yosemite. Follow dwb's instructions but also restart your router. Make sure you're running OS X 10.10.2 since it was supposed to have been addressed with that update.

Due to our company policy, GPO applied on server, casuser is not allowed as a local administrator... Active Directory team says that if we change "casuser" name to any other name as per company policy, then they will be able to make it permanently local administrator.
Are we able to change "casuser" name to anything else...
Also can we use any other service than TASK SCHEDULER, as its also not allowed in GPO. Currently we are unable to make scheduled backups as TASK SCHEDULER is disabled.

to keep things clear, casuser does not need to be a member of the local administrator group it is a member of its own group, named "casusers"; It is just necessary to install LMS as a local administrator so that all necessary settings can be made during installation! But be aware that GPOs can overwrite the necessary rights for casuser (or casusers) and can be responsible for "sudden" problems a week or a month after a successfull and running installation.
casuser can not be renamed.
most of the scheduled jobs are maintened LMS internally and do not need "Task Scheduler" or "at"; the only periodic jobs I know of are logrotsch.bat and backupsch.bat to maintain logfile rotation and the database backup respectively. I would just try to set up these jobs in an alternative scheduler (btw. which one are you using ??). The only consequence I can imaging is that LMS can not report on the status of these jobs...
Both .bat files are only wrappers around the .pl skripts doing the real job.
You should get the permission to enable the task scheduler for a test, setup both jobs in the GUI like you need. When you have done this, open a DOS box, just type "at" and copy the command you see and use it for your own scheduler Then unconfigure the settings in the GUI
Another possibility that comes into my mind is to tweak windows, so that the "at" command points to your own scheduler. You should play with doing this before or after setting up the Job in the GUI (I would start with "after")
But be aware that this is not supported and Cisco TAC can reject any help befor you have reverted these settings.

My new iMac is seen as my old Mac Pro on the network because I used Migration Assistant. How do I change its name to iMac?

I used Migration Assistant about 4 months ago to move everything across to my new iMac. Since then instead of being recognised as an iMac it's seen on the network and other places as my Mac Pro.

Hello David. Open System Preferences > Sharing. At the top you will see Computer Name and the old Mac Pro name. Highlight this and change to the preferred name.
Sometimes you also need to use the Edit button under the name. But if you change the name in the first view and then press the Edit button, it should show the new name you just set.

Changed the name, it changed everything

I hope I can describe this so that it makes sense...
I'm pretty new to macs, I just got a new iMac about a month ago. So far everything has been perfect and I absolutely love it. Last night, I opened the Finder and noticed in the little pane on the left side (Applications, Desktop, etc.) that the little house icon had my computer name on it (snz48) and not my actual name. So I changed the name of it to my actual name and went about my business for about 15 minutes. I opened Firefox and it didn't go to my homepage and all my bookmarks were gone. The documents I had on my desktop disappeared, and all of my settings went back to default. This is because I changed the name of that folder, right?
Inside of that newly changed name folder, another folder called "snz48" is in it with all my old stuff, like all my bookmarks, documents, everything. It seems like because I changed the name, the mac is just looking in the wrong place for all my things, because they are all still there, just not in the right place I guess.
So my question: is there any way to get everything back to the way it was? I hope this all made sense ... thanks so much!

So, how does one change the name without messing anything up. I haven't done this yet, but I have to say that I'm not fond of the fact that I like my full name identifiable when I'm surfing the web. I guess the machine automatically defaults to using your name? I don't remember an option to change that during set-up. Is this making any sense?

Want to change the names of our computers, but how ?

over the last few months, we've renewed our set-up, and got things networked together - for the first time, so there was a learning curve ! Actually, it wasn't so bad ... the various ins & outs of permissions being now the main cause of occasional falterings. Anyway, being now got on top of it all (well, almost), we'd like to go back & change the names of our various devices - SWMBO's taken over my iPod Touch, for example, and the iMac seems to have renamed itself somehow along the way, so it now has the name we gave it but with the number 2 in parentheses at the end (goodness knows how that happened) ... only, for the life of me, I can't see / find-out how to do it ... it's probably very easy to do, it's probably that I can't see for looking ... but, any ideas, please ?

No worries.
For the iPhone/Touch, connect the device to your Mac. You should see it listed in the iTunes sidebar. Click on the name twice, and you should be able to rename it in exactly the same way as you can rename a file or folder in Finder.

Change Device Name?

Interestingly, all three of the previous replies are correct, yet confusing to interpret. You have a renaming problem for two different types of equipment: 1) a camera, which is a "device" as per Xfinity (and not a "zone/sensor"), and 2) one or more infrared sensor(s) (a "light sensor" as you have called it), which is a "zone/sensor" as per Xfinity. So, your light (infrared) sensor(s) is(are) ZONE/SENSOR(s), and your camera is a DEVICE. Cable guy is correct in that only a technician can rename a ZONE/SENSOR. However, you can rename a camera with either the touchscreen or the website by choosing "Settings", then choosing "Home Devices" (NOT "Zone/Sensors"), and then "Cameras". As for your sensor problem, I suspect you might be able to have a technician rename the infrared sensors over the phone, rather than paying for a home service call. But one never knows these days! Good luck!

If you go to your touchscreen and go to the Settings menu, you should be able to access "Home Devices," which should lead to the ability to edit the names of your devices. Only technicians can Add new devices of this kind but that will change in the coming months (self-install of lights, cameras and thermostats is coming soon).

Logon image needs to change automatically for corresponding month

ok, then you have to change login module, try using scheduler servlet, which will create time interval. Also you have to copy all images in one folder location in server, but check with image name because it might affect.

How to change of NAME and IP after RAC installation.

Hi Friends,
I have a challenge here...Would appreciate if anyone can help me..
I have to install 10.2.0.3 Oracle RAC on windows 2003 server 64 bit.
My issue is now the server names and ips are set and I am going to install the RAC.
But the client need is that after one month, they need to change the names and ips of the servers (a one time change).
Because according to their server naming standards, current production servers are having the acceptable names and ips.
The installation was on a 32 bit OS, so they are facing out of process memory errors. Thats why they are going to 64 bit OS on new servers.
After the new servers are ready, the data will be migrated to new server. After a month, they need to change the names of new servers to that of the old (current production) servers.
Could anybody help me by giving me information about how to change the NAME and IP after a RAC installation ?

You can change the IP later but you can not change the hostname of the system.
You have to install CRS freah if you want to change the hostname of the system.
Please let us know which IP you want to change.

Issue on payroll area which is changing from biweekly to monthly in Mid of

Dear Experts,
I have an issue on payroll area which is changing from biweekly to monthly in Mid of the Month.
One employee was retired on 29th of March, so his payroll area was changed from biweekly to monthly on 29th. For retire we are running the payroll on 8th of every month. When we are running payroll for April he has received only 29th and 30th retire salary, by the time he is not yet retired also.
In this case the main problem is monthly payroll time is early then biweekly. so the employee is getting retire salary then his regular pay.
Can you guide me where we can control that monthly payroll area should not be triggered at this movement.

You can do that but it is not that easy as it sounds if you have to do that over a period of say 10-20 years...lot of operational work!!
Also say if you load the retiree action one month ahead say on 03/01/2011. And the employee is retiring on 03/29.
Retire payroll is on 04/08
Biweekly is on 04/15
Now you decide to lock the employees after the 1st biweekly check of March...say which was process 14 days before 04/15 would be 04/01. The employee number is locked between 04/01 to 04/15. For 14 days you have locked these employees!!
What happens if there is adjustment pay...you have to manually go and unlock the employee and lock him after the adjustment check.
I will let you decide based on the comfort, SAP effort, Operational effort and system maintenance.
