Dear Experts
I have saved my driver program and smartform in different requests.
How can i change the request of driver program.
Is there any way to move the program of one request to another.
The request I hv saved my program contain other programs also.
so its not like i can transport my driver program and smart form from different request.

delete the object or driver program inthe transport request ..
and try to save the program again..
it will ask the transport request again..
now save the progam on the transport request which the other program are available..

Remove password column in Change User Request [NWBC]

Hi everyone,
one simple UI-related question: in a change access request (template based) in NWBC, if we add one or more roles under User Access tab, the associated system/clients are listed in the User System Details tab (see the attached screenshot). There we can see two columns, namely Password and Confirm Password - which are both editable. We would like to either hide them or at least make them un-editable.
We know that it is possible to get rid of them by creating a custom view - which implies a little programming and needs a developer key. Unfortunately, this is not possible for us at the moment.
So my question is: can we, at least, make those two fields/columns un-editable for the requestor?

What ever you are trying is very much possible , From se 80 you can opne the end user form in expert mode and make these field non editable or hidden ,
I think few days or months back Jatin Grover from SAP posted a document on sdn which talks about customizing end user form .You can use the same for solving you issue .

Changes in an INCLUDE Program not being transported

Hi all,
I have done some changes in the main program of a sapscript form in SE38. This main program calls an INCLUDE program, in which I have done some changes also. But when I transport the program, the changes done in the INCLUDE are not being transported, but only the changes in the main are transported!!
Can anyone tell me why? I generated both the main and the INCLUDE but it still is not ok.

Change in Std SAP Program

BW Experts,
At my client I have changed a Std SAP program LRRSVF20. This was transported up all the way to production. Now that we did a Support pack upgrade in dev, This configuration is lost in development. What is the best approach to get it back. Reconfigure it which will give me a new transport request and retransport all the way till production. Or is there a better way.

You need to redo the changes and then transport it again.
Anyways as a Best Practice, don't change Std SAP programs. You can copy them to a Z or Y pgm and then modify them. Usually if you need to change them ask SAP for a correction and then insert/delete that in the program either by applying the note or using SNOTE.

Has anyone applied these notes? if so how do you check if the hole exists and then after the note has been applied how does one verify that the security breach has been corrected?

Via the corrections of the note, you will often be able to put the puzzle pieces together to be able to "test" whether it is corrected and how... The fact that there are sometimes follow-on notes to such program corrections is evidence of this. Some knowledge and creativity will be required for this.
If you want to be carefull of side affects (or find the guilty ones...) then try where-used-list look-ups on the objects being corrected to see where and how they are being used. Not 100% reliable because of dynamic coding techniques, but a good indicator for auditable development work...
Expressions such as "undesired source code" generally refer to remotely definable but internally executable source code, without appropriate checks in between.
If you cannot test it yourself and SAP releases the note as a "Security Note", then these are generally implementable without SAP standard consequences. If something in the z-custom world is bothered by it, you can normally be sure that you already have the problem "in da house"...

Check the return message from bapi,what's it showing??Before executing the bapi,put a breakpoint in r/3 system & check what values r getting passed to bapi..
U can check this in transaction se37,go to ur function module & put external break point over there.
OR
Execute BAPI through SAP GUI. if its execute properly do the following steps.
1. Do you have any mandatory input parameters?.
(check are you setting mandatory input parameters properly)
2. If they changed BAPI structure(data type) after model generation you have to model re-import model again.

Schedule lines are not modified when i change the requested delivery date

Hi
i have a issue when i am created sales order with requested delivery date 10.11.2011
and the same is copied in to item schedule lines as a 10.11.2011
before saving the order i change the requested derlivery date to 11.11.2011
this new requested delivery date is not dopied to schedule lines at item level (still is having 10.11.2011)
can any one tell me this is system standard behaviour or can we correct this

I tried this solution & problem is solved.
--Go to VA01 & enter the material & qty
--Select the line item in VA01 & click on Edit
--Select Fast Change of & click on Delivery date & mention the Delivery date as 11.11.2011. & click on copy.
--Check the request delivery date in header level in sales tab it will change to 11.11.2011 & also check the Schedule lines in Item level the date will be 11.11.2011 & Save it.

Creation of Idocs from the change pointers by the program RBDMIDOC

Hello,
I'm Creating Idocs from the change pointers by the program RBDMIDOC.
The IDOCS Created using the message type HRMD_A are Correct but when i try to RUN RBDMIDOC for message type HRMD_B no Data is selected for distribution.
All the customizing are similar and i presume that all the change pointers are active (BD50 and IMG->Personnel Management -> Organizational Management -> Basic Settings -> Activate change documents).
Can anyone help me with the necessary steps to create this IDOC types.
Do anyone know if the RBDMIDOC report is the Same for messages HRMD_A and HRMD_B.

If the setting is fine, there may be some code in exit or badi for program RBMIDOC. Check the Exit and BADI.
check the exit EXIT_SAPLBD11_001 and
check the badi IDOC_CREATION_CHECK.
Probably there may be some code on these exits which are stoping your code from getting generated.These are the two trigger happen once u execute the RBMIDOC program.for HR, we use RHALEINI program to generate the idoc. but even RBDMIDOC works. These 2 triggere will come with RHALEINI also.
If there is no code here, Then there is problem in the setting only.

Activation of ODS fails: Change-Log Request ODSR_... does not exist in ODS

Hello Experts,
I have a problem loading in an ODS object in Release BW 3.5. This load is in parallel to loading in a Cube and InfoObjects from 10 different SAP sources monthly.
Everytime, I load data, Activation fails. The Error message is "Change-Log Request ODSR_... does not exist in ODS ..." These Requests (30 requests) are very old starting with the Go-Live date of the application in 2005. If I search for the first Request in Reconstruct, a request without a InfoPackage-Name is found and if I reconstruct the request, all other new loaded Request are activated and everything is fine. The next month, the same error appears, but without the one old request in the list reconstructed the month before of course.
A few months before I had to repair loading and deleted also requests in the ODS. Then I realized my mistake, that reconstruction is not possible, because the request was gone in the reconstruction list. So I searched for the PSA Request in the ODS reconstruction list, found the requests and reconstructed these. Could this be the reason for my current problem?
But how can I stop this error? Reconstructing all of the requests did not work, because one request says, no active update rules exist for this request. So I stopped reconstructing every request of the long list.
Please help me, I could not find any helpful information until now ...

Hi,
For the old requests that you don't want and that are not valid, goto the monitor for those and mark them red. After that you won't face any problems while activating the new requests.
The reason this is happening is that during activation BW thinks that these old requests are valid as they are green and tries to activate them as they are in squence. When it dosen't find them then it gives the error. If you mark them red, they are ignored and the next request is taken into consideration.

Minimize reduces the size of the window. It doesn't save the page.
Click the Reading List icon just to the left of the Bookmarks icon left side of the Safari toolbar then drag the url from the Safari Address Bar to the Reading List.
You can access saved pages from there.

Firefox is opening a .pdf link with Google Docs. How can I change to a different program?

I am opening a government document from a govt webpage link. It's a pdf document, and the document opens in Google Docs. I do not want it to open in Google Docs, but don't know how to change to a different program.
I am using current Firefox; Windows 7.

Adding shutterfly upload software changed the defaul mail program in iPhoto

I recently added the shutterfly upload software for iPhoto and in the process, it changed my default email program in iPhoto from Mail to some new microsoft program. I went into preferences to change back, but now Mail is greyed out and not an option. What is up with that? And how can I get my default back to Mail?

The program is MS Entourage and the fix you described above solved the problem.
However, I just upgraded to iLife 06, and upgraded my iPhoto from 4 to 6. In the process, this issue of the MS Entourage hijack has returned. I've deleted Entourage from my computer and the iPhoto preference file, yet no luck -- I still can't return the setting for email in preferences to Mac Mail (that option is greyed out). Any ideas?

We are in the process of upgrading our SAP from 4.6c to 6.0 and I am looking for a document or white paper that summarizes changes to Standard SAP Programs, Tables/Fields, Function Modules etc.. from what used to be in SAP 4.6c to what it is in SAP 6.0. I am not sure if such a comprehensive document exists or is posted in the forum.
Any help or information in this regard will be highly appreciated.

Do you want to know what custom changes were done to SAP standard objects in your system or do you want to know what changes SAP did from 4.6c to ECC6.0.
There is no white paper or documentation to find out custom changes made to SAP standard objects. but there were many tools in the market to find out and tell what changes were done to sap standard objects in your system.
Your question seems ambiguous please clear it.
