Change of Ship to address for a shopping cart

could any body inform me that how to change the ship to address for a company code in SRM. We are using SRM 4.0 and classic system.

Hi Ashok,
You can create ship to addresses in Edit internal address tab in the SRM WEB GUI with administrator role
When user create a shopping cart , will get a drop down of all the addresses which were maintained here in
the ship to location tab.
Internal address is related to ship to address in the shopping cart.

Dear Pijush,
In SRM once an Org Unit is mrked as a 'Company' PPOMA_BBP->Function Tab.
This address will be displayed as a standard address in BBPADDRINTC-
'Maintain Internal Address'
If no other Ship To Addresses are created then this address is taken as
the default. You cannot delete the company address as this is the
standard address and a company must have an address in order for the
Organizational Structure to remain consistent.
Once you create an address in BBPADDRINTC and mark it as a 'Ship-To-
Address' you will be asked to set one of the addresses as 'default'.
You can delete an address marked as 'Ship To Address' but if it is
set as the default, you must firstly set the 'standard' address
or another 'Ship-To-Address' as the default.
As I said any address marked 'standard' must never be deleted. You
can change this address via 'Maintain Internal Address'.
The system will not ask for a default delivery address initially as
it will always use the standard 'Company' address if no other
is defined.

I have a requirement to delete the default flag that will be set in ship to address screen in shopping cart in SRM system.
I am able to view the list of ship to address throuh Edit internal address ( transaction BBPADDRINTC) and I am able to change the default. The requirement is, the requester should not set default at all so it should be cleared even if he sets.
I tried with Badi - BUPA_ADDR_UPDATE. But couldn't find it useful.
Please guide me on this.

You must have maintained address number of ship to attribute in the organisation structure .
so there you take up action.

New behaviour of delivery address in a shopping cart for SRM7.01

Dear experts,
I may have a wrong understanding in concept of delivery address in latest srm release SRM7.01 (SRM version7 enhancement package 1)?
In previous versions, employees use to inherit the delivery addresses from the organization hierarchy.i.e. they use to inherit the delivery address from the company to which they are assigned.
However, from SRM7.01 onwards, delivery address can be created at the business partner level i.e. individual employee level and one can assign these addresses as ship-to address for shopping cart.
Am I correct in understanding the system behaviour here? Please, share your inputs.

So, if I understand correctly, an employee can select the ship-to or delivery addresses other than the one inherited from the company to which the employee was assigned.
Secondly, the value help for delivery addresses shows delivery addressess assigned to other companies as well. In such cases, the shopping cart creator can pick up delivery address not assigned to his own company but other company. Will the system allow such behaviour. As SAP SRM supports cross company purchasing, can we take it as a part of cross company purchasing behaviour?

Prevent change of Ship-to address in Sales Order entry ?

We want to be able to prevent users from changing the Ship-to address in either VA01 or VA02, if the Ship-to has a specific Account Group. I am aware that we could do a check in a userexit, but our preference would be to grey-out the address fields if someone went to Goto->Header->Partners, and double-clicked on the Ship-to Partner.
Do anyone know if it's possible to do this in config ?

This can be very well done. As i succeded in doing in my project
Goto-SHDO
enterVA01 and do go on till u get the partner address tab and there u select Wcontent display and save
and again take VA02 and do the same procedure and save it
And also dont forget to activate in SHDO nor it will not work

Dear Experts,
Can anyone please explain the Ship-to Address for BP master Vendor. What address should I provide there. My warehouse address to which they must supply or their Godown address from where they will ddespatch or anything else. Please clarify.........

SG300 cant change the Link Local address for an IPv6 interface

There seems to be no apparent way to change the Link Local address for an IPv6 interface
If I create more than one interface they all appear to have the same Link Local address

Never mind, I figured it out
By adding a Link Local address to an interface, it overides the existing one on the interface

Charge customer if they want to change the ship to address.

Is there any way to charge the customer if want to change the ship to address.
Is there any indicator to figure out if the ship to address is changed..?

Work flow not created for the Shopping Cart

Hi one of the customers created a shopping cart,in approval overview it is showing as no need of approvals,but the status of approval is 'awaiting approval', but workflow is not created for the Shopping cart. advised to re-order in change mode but still no use. please advise.

SM58 - check for stuck remote function calls
ST22 - check for system dumps
SM13 - check for stuck update requests
SM21 - check in the system log for anything unusual
SWUD - run a consistency check on the workflow

Indexing product data for embedded search for my shopping cart fiori app

I'm doing indexing of product data records for SRM embedded search for My Shopping Cart Fiori app.
however the job being created by the system to accomplish the task is, as error message displayed, not defined properly.
any idea how to resolve this?
i have no idea what program is this, and job details cannot be displayed/changed because of incomplete job definition.
Appreciate any assistance pls.

Please check if there was a dump recorded in ST22. Also perform an authorization check SU53 for the background user that submits the job.

Purchase Order not created for a Shopping Cart

We have a few Shopping Carts created in SRM which did not transmit as PO to our backend R/3 system. This happened because our R/3 system went down for a couple of hours and the Shopping Carts were created during this time. We tried to submit these Shopping Carts through the Application monitor later and the SRM system gave a message "Processed Successfully". However, POs for these Shopping Carts were not created and the Shopping Carts have a status of "Item in transfer process".
The Shopping Carts have already got a PO number assigned to them through the SRM system. However these PO's have not been created in the backend R/3 system
We are struggling to find the failed RFC calls with the help of BASIS so that we can possibly reprocess them. Alternatively we are also looking for a way to retrigger the PO creation for these Shopping Carts.
I need ideas to resolve this issue.

Not sure if you received an answer or not, but this is what we have had to do in the past:
1. Run BBP_PD for the shopping cart to see what the purchase requisition number will be on the backend system. The requisition number will still be provided even if it fails to transfer to the backend.
2. Run FM BBP_PD_SC_RESUBMIT. The object key field will be the requisition number; the object ID field will be the shopping cart number.

Purchase requistion number not been generated for material shopping carts

Dear Experts,
I am able to create a purchase requistion for text shopping carts once it is approved. For material if i create a shopping cart then status is showing approved(activated workflow without approval) but purchase requistion number not been generated.
It was happening suddenly...earlier i was able to generate PR for material shopping carts.
Please advise on this

Can you please give me the detail requirement. If you want generate a PR for catalogue items then you have to maintain the setting in SPRO_>srm->SRM SERVER->cross application basic settings-> define objects in backend systems...

GR Based IV Flag for Limit Shopping carts.

Hello,
We are on ECS SRM 3.0,EBP 4.0.There is a requirement to populate GR based Invoice verification flag (GR Based IV flag) for a PO for any Limit shopping carts raised.For all other shopping carts this flag should not be set.One option we can think is a condition set in the Badi which replicates the PO to backend.Are there any settings to achieve the same.

Hi Rakesh,
As Dave said the simple way is using BADI BBP_CREATE_BE_PO_NEW.
There is a way to achive this for Limit shopping carts. Choose 'Confirmation and Invoice' as Follow-on doc in the Limit shopping cart, this will create PO with GR flag active always. But this will not solve your other requirement that all non Limit orders should create PO with no GR flag. In that case you need to use BADI again.
It is up to you, think and decide which way is better..:)
