Why have all my previous "My Ratings" (stars) have been removed and Smart Albums(i.e. 5 star rating in past year) virtually destroyed in the update to the new Photos program? Where are the "My Ratings" capabilities ?

Upon updating to the new Photos program, all the previous "My Ratings" (1-5 stars) for photos have been removed. Why? My "Smart Albums" using the "My Ratings", i.e. photos with a 5 star rating within the past year, have been virtually destroyed in the update. The updates "modified" Smart
Album deleted the "My Ratings" parameter, retained the Date parameter so now Smart Album includes every photo within the date range parameter. Where are the "My Ratings" capabilities ? It appears they have been removed. If so, why ?

Photos doesn't have true star ratings.
However, when photos are migrated from iPhoto or Aperture to Photos, they will have keywords assigned, like "1 star" or "5 stars". You can create smart albums based on these keywords.
You can also assign keyboard shortcuts so if you're in the keyword pane and type 1, it will assign the "1 star" keyword.

PO containing two PR's - Do not update properly the status in eBuy

Hi everyone,
here is the scenario with the issue:
Shopping Cart 1 has Purchase Requisition 1
Shopping Cart 2 has Purchase Requisition 2
PO is created in R/3 using both Purchase Requisitions: 1 and 2
Goods receipt done in eBuy for both Shopping carts
Shopping Cart 1 has the status changed to Completely received
Here is the issue:
Shopping Cart 2 still shows the status: Purchase Order
Please advise what can be done in this case.

Third Party Sales Incorrect Status Update at the order level

Hi,
We follow a third party sales in our system
Sales order > PR> PO> MIGO>MIRO>VF03
Howeevr, the status of the sales order is being processed.
The quantity is same, item relevance for delivery is unchecked at schedule line and item category.
Our users want the invoice to be genereated after the MIGO, so at the item category level bliing relevance is G, and at VTFA billing quantity is E.
It is working if the biling relevance is maintained as f, the status shows completed but i want this for G
Over all status is being in processed and order related billing at item level is partially invoiced.

Thanks for clearing it out.
I did not understand what do you mean when u say"MIRO" process, write now our business requires the customer invoice to be created after the MIGO is done for PO, for which we have put billing relevance as G.
The problem now is, since the relevance is G which is order related billingof deliveyr quantity, even though the invice is completd and the accoounting document is cleared the ordder status still shows "being processed"
You have already mentioned it very clearly that this can be changed it using the user exit, but i just wanted to confirm that again.

Consignment delivery status is howing the status being processed

Dear Guru,
I would like to know the reason behing showing the status of consignment delivery document as "BEING PROCESSED".
The scenario is as below:
as we all know that in consignment sales process there are for steps that we require.The steps are as follow:
consignment fill-up
consignement issue
consignment return
consignment pick-up.
In this while going through the consignment fill-up there are two substeps that is required.
careation of sales order and creation of delivery document and pgi.
After doing post goods issue when i m seeing the doucment flow i find that the delivery document status is showing as being processed.
Why?

Open your delivery document and go to Status tab. This screen will provide you with the necessary details about which step is not yet done because of which the overall status is being processed. If you have difficulties in analyzing the status screen, provide me the status values against each status that you see on delivery and i will be more than happy to explain them to you.

Assigning iViews to the Page through Program

Hi,
I have a page, which is already contains few iViews and set the layout. These all iViews are visible.
Now I have assigned one more iView and aligned but it is invisible.
Now I would like to change the property of this iView to make it visible and at the same time i have to make invisible for another iView.
This I need to implement through program. Please let me know how to achive this .

This page will be visible for all users and all users having this role.
The present requirement is that the content manager should able to decide which iView has to be displayed for the user.

ITunes Update attempt: "The folder path 'Program Files' contains an invalid character"

How can I install the latest version when I get this message : "The folder path 'Program Files' contains an invalid character"? The message appears when I try to install the update and it appears when I try to uninstall the previous version. The instructions for manual uninstall says to use the Control Panel Uninstall Programs first and then "clean up" -- but I can't use the Control Panel Uninstall. I am running iTunes from an external drive. What to do?

That's normally produced by a damaged iTunes.msi. The basic treatment for it is given in the following user tip:

... but since Microsoft pulled the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from their Downloads Center, things have grown more difficult. First we have to find a copy of the utility.
Let's try Googling. (Best not to use Bing, I think.) Look for a working download site for at least version 3.0 of the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. After downloading the utility installer file (msicuu2.exe), scan the file for malware, just in case. (I use the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware to do single-file scans for that.)
If the file is clean, to install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you've downloaded.
Now start with *step 4* from the user tip, and proceed from there.
(If you do find a clean download site for the correct version of CleanUp, please don't tell me where it is. Without wishing to sound paranoid (although I grant it does sound paranoid), there is a non-zero chance that posting links to download locations for the utility here at Discussions leads to that download location being shut down.)

Regarding the November updates to the Device Enrollment Program: Am I now able to use the DEP with a much smaller deployment?

The last time I was hip to the info, for my devices to be eligible for the Device Enrollment Program, their serial numbers had to be associated with an Apple Customer ID number. In order to have an Apple Customer ID number, you had to be on Apple Terms, which basically means a very large spend now and in the future. De Facto, in order to use DEP you effectively had to have a large number of devices.
With the addition of 3rd party resellers and other changes made in November, is it now possible to use the DEP as a much smaller company. I'd have 13 devices to start, and those already exist so I understand they may not qualify. However, we will grow to between 40 - 60 iOS devices within the next few years. I have relationships with JAMF and the Casper Suite, so I'd be moving in that direction. Does Apple give away customer numbers more freely now, or do 3rd party resellers provide the proper credentials (per the new DEP manual) at lower purchase levels? In a nutshell, can I buy 20 devices with a company credit card and get DEP going?
I know the other options, and I have other solutions in line, I just want to know as part of my 'sussing out' process. I know from experience the front line at Apple isn't really privy to this info, so any help is appreciated!

Does anyone know of a status update to the GPU-related freezes recently reported by MBP users?

I read up on it here and didn't know whether or not anyone was still experiencing the issue or if apple has fixed it. I have only the best intentions with this post -- I plan on getting a MacBook Pro for college here but after reading this, I'm not sure it's the best idea since I plan on using graphics intensive applications like finalcut studio pro unless the issue is resolved.

I purchased a Macbook Pro 17, full spec with Lion installed two days ago and am getting occaional freezes. When the graphics card switch between internal and dedicated is when the problem happens. After you do something that is graphics intensive and then try and open an app or close a program the computer freezes. gfxcardstatus app helps in that when you select either dedicated or internal grpahics only and disable the dymanic switching the problem goes away, so not the problem does not seem to have been solved. I am in contact with apple and if in the next few days they can not offer a fix the laptop will be returned and a new Alienware will be on the way. I am really disapointed as I expected so much from this machine in terms of reliability and stability, something that does not come with MS Windows.

Fields not getting updated in the database through BAPI enhancement

Hi Experts,
I have added 4 custom fields in the transaction FB60. The fields are getting displayed in vendor line item.
I have to fill these fields from an inbound idoc which uses the BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST bapi. I have implemented the BADI BADI_ACC_DOCUMENT to pass my custom fields to the bapi and it is processing correctly by adding the custom field values to the extension table that is getting passed to the standard program of the BAPI from the BADI.
But I think, I have missed to append my fields in one of the standard structures. I have added the fields in BSEG, CI_COBL( which is getting called in BAPICOBL_CI, ACCIT).
Can anybody tell me which other standard structure I should add my custom fields so that it functions properly and gets added to the BSEG table.

Lock the Tcode through program

Hi All,
I has write a program for lock the tcode for that I am using FM:-RSAU_WRITE_SM01_LOG,When I pass Input for FM like below
Tcode and lock ,
It will run correct but the database updation is not takes place..
Can any one guide to resolve the Issue..
Please tell me if there is any fm to lock the tcode ..

Hi,
If your ultimate motive is to update database,then why you are trying to lock a Tcode? You should lock the database table instead,then do your update work and then release the lock. That's it. I think it would be better if you create lock object from SE11 of your particular database table. Call ENQUEUE function module. Update DB table. Then call DEQUEUE function module and you are done.

You need to do it thru method:

            iv_set_status      = ' '
        exceptions
            status_not_allowed = 1
            failed             = 2
            others             = 3.
        commit work and wait.
This Sample is relevant to corrective action.
You need to find your relevant audit status that you need
and write the correct Guid.
See table TJ02T with txt04 = AM* there you will find the status texts and the status code.
I checked it allready and it working proprlly.

How to monitor the status change of pp order?

I want to monitor all of the status change of PP order ,when the status change to DLV, system trigger a idoc to legacy system.
I added some code in EXIT_SAPLCOBT_001, but I found this user exit only working in CO02, when I use MIGO or MB1C ... tcode to do some GR, the source code is not woking, that means I have to add the code to any entrance of status change????? anybody have some good idea? maybe I have to add a monitor to monitor the table jest ????

Could you elaborate your requirement please?
Anyways, the BP transaction display/change mode can be controlled through settings. Goto BP->Extras->Settings->Choose Display/Change/Setting last selected. May be in your system, the setting is 'Setting last selected'. That's why it's showing the last status display/change. If you want it to be display only, you can change the setting to display. But, the settings are user specific and any changes made will reflect for the specific user.
