Change of subscriber package to SCE2020

When we provision a subscriber to an SCE package with rules to redirect HTTP flows, then this redirection is not available right away, but only after about 10 seconds have passed. Before the redirection gets enabled, the HTTP requests just get blocked (as the default policy of that package dictates).
Have you ever noticed such delays to switch policies when moving from package to package?
Thanks

So here is what you do...
1. Brand new subscriber is provisioned and given package A (lets assume)
2. Package A has HTTP redirection rules applied.
Subscriber logs in...The subscriber is given the right package as soon as he logs in (because the subscriber information is alreasy present  in the SCE, Push mode)
Have you verified that as soon as the subscriber logs in the session is created and the package assigned or does it take 10 seconds for the package to be assigned to the session?
Shelley.

  • Impact of the Transport Layer changes in the package

    Dear Experts,
    We are in the process of the Upgrade. As a part of the upgrade from 3.1to BI7. We have two Dev systems one is with the 3.1 - BWD   and the other one is with the BI7- CBD now. We have transported all the objects with the Package : ZBWD (Where the transport Layer of this Package ZBWD).
    And we have introduced the new Integration system(CBQ) in the landscape now and we have changed the Package ZBWD properties(We have changed the Transport Layer of this Package from ZBWD to ZCBD).
    Can anyone please tell me the consequencies of this change in the package. We are planning to move this changed package, once the upgrade is finished.
    Can any one tell me the consequencies of this change and also if we dont transport this package change in the other systems, then what wil be the consequences.?
    Thanks

    Hi,

    As we have the new development system now, we need to change the Transport layer in that same package: to ZCBD.
    Can anyone tell me will there be any impact of this change on the objects in the further landscapes? and also please explain me what are all the steps which needs to be carriedout if the transport layer got changed in the package?

  • Deploying standard changes to SSIS packages

    A couple glitches were discovered in our SSIS template.  Approximately 100 packages were built from the template.  Is there a mechanism to update all packages with the changes?  Or do I have to open each one and manually change?

    I'm into the xml and notice a lot of difference between packages for DTS:DTSID   I searched the net trying to find what DTS:DTSID is and if I should be replacing this text.
    Hi Hawk73ku,
    Each package object has a GUID, and the GUID is marked as the DTSID element in the XML code of the .dtsx file. Generally, it doesn’t matter to change the GUID of a package object only if the GUID is unique. However, when we try to modify certain XML code
    snippet of a package, there is no need to modify the DTSID element actually.
    You can first make the changes to a package, and compare and find out the modified code snippet. Then, you can open the code of any one package, and then perform text replace in the project or entire solution scope.

  • Help with change log subscriber rights

    Can someone help me give my change log subscriber object rights to see changelogs?
    I am using OID 10.1.2.1.0 on RH Linux. I followed the directions for creating my change log subscriber in the OIM Integration guide under "Synchronization with Third-Party Metadirectory Solutions". I used the Oracle Ldap command-line tools from a windows box.
    The cn=orcladmin user can see the changelog entries, but my subscriber object account get's "insufficient_rights" when it tries to see cn=changelog, although it seems to be able to browse the rest of the directory tree fine.
    Here's a listing of my subscriber object:
    C:\D\ldaptools_oracle>ldapsearch -h lynx -p 389 -s sub -D cn=orcladmin -w xxxxx -b "cn=Oracle Internet Directory" "(&(objectclass=*)(cn=miis_change_subscriber))"
    cn=miis_change_subscriber,cn=Subscriber Profile,cn=ChangeLog Subscriber,cn=Oracle Internet Directory
    orcllastappliedchangenumber=2600
    orclsubscriberdisable=0
    objectclass=orclChangeSubscriber
    objectclass=top
    cn=miis_change_subscriber
    userpassword={SHA}8wNdwBiIGL4+QyKn06u...
    authpassword;oid={SASL/MD5}ah1tJyQf8lp...
    authpassword;oid={SASL/MD5-DN}Lt3/8l2R...
    authpassword;oid={SASL/MD5-U}1XmqsqH9...
    Here's my query for trying to see changelogs.
    ldapsearch -h lynx -p 389 -D "cn=miis_change_subscriber,cn=Subscriber Profile,cn=ChangeLog Subscriber,cn=Oracle Internet Directory" -w xxxx -b "cn=changelog" -s one "(&(changenumber>=2600))" targetDN
    ldap_search: Insufficient access
    But the same query substituting the superuser gives me a list:
    ldapsearch -h lynx -p 389 -D "cn=orcladmin" -w xxxxx -b "cn=changelog" -s one "(&(changenumber>=2600))" targetDN
    Changenumber=2612, cn=changelog
    targetdn=cn=instance1,cn=odisrv,cn=subregistrysubentry
    Changenumber=2613, cn=changelog
    targetdn=cn=instance1,cn=odisrv,cn=subregistrysubentry
    Changenumber=2614, cn=changelog
    targetdn=cn=instance1,cn=odisrv,cn=subregistrysubentry
    etc...
    Is there a particular group he should belong to?
    Thanks!

    Here I am answering my own question, after 10 days without a single response. Thanks, Oracle!
    Through oidadmin (Internet Directory Manager) I added my change log subscriber account to the group: cn=odisgroup,cn=DIPadmins,cn=Directory Integration Platform,cn=Products,cn=OracleContext.
    Don't know if this is the correct process or not, but this group has rights to see the changelogs. Now I can see 'em.
    Thanks again!

  • How to Change Carrier for Package Tracking in Apple Mail 8?

    When I receive a shipping confirmation email, Apple Mail automatically detects the tracking number and creates a hyperlink to USPS tracking. This is wonderfully convenient... if you live in the USA.
    I live in Canada, so most of my packages are shipped with Canada Post. Naturally, USPS doesn't recognize the tracking number, so this feature is essentially useless. Is there any way I can change the carrier to Canada Post, or preferably to a universal tracker such as www.packagetrackr.com?
    I was hoping Apple would address this with the release of Yosemite/Apple Mail 8, but I can't seem to find a solution. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    If you're talking about the sender name (the name that appears on the From line when you send email), to change it on your Mac Mail, go to icloud.com, sign into your account, open Mail, click the gear shaped icon on the bottom left and choose Preferences, go to the Accounts tab and enter the name you want to use in the Full Name field and click Done.  Then quit Mail on your Mac (Command-Q) and re-open it.  Your new From name should now appear in the drop-down list when you compose a new email.

  • Change Control for package created in Modeler Perspective

    Hello,
    We have created a package through modeler perspective and developed couple of views in it.
    Want to enable change control for the same so we can transport only the view which has some changes in it.
    I have couple of questions on how to achieve the same,
    1) Is there any functionality to get this done through modeler perspective itself ? by this I mean we do not create repository and other stuff
    2) What will happen if I activate the change control mechanism and make change to one of the view? if any developer checks out the package to his local repository and makes changes , will he be prompted to create a Change ID during activation ?
    Thanks In Advance,
    MM.

    Hi Vikas, the projects used inside SSMS are not compatible with those in Visual Studio. So unfortunately you cannot open and manage them inside SSMS.
    The best practices we recommend are that you do your development inside Visual Studio and then publish the .dacpac file created on project build to your database - you can do this using VS, SSMS or SqlPackage.exe from the command line.
    If you do not want to use project-based development but do want TFS support for version changes, plenty of developers use SSMS for day-to-day changes and then use Schema Compare inside Visual Studio to sync those updates to a project and check these in.
    This gives you some level of change management and backup support.
    Hope this helps,
    Kevin

  • Change the transport package of a SAPScript, Smartform

    Hi!
    There are several SAPScripts and Smartforms in our system, which is assigned to a transport package Z1, which points to nowhere, so it's just a technical, local package.
    Now the basis team set up a new system, and there is a new package Z2, which points to this new system.
    So I would like to assign the object from Z1 to Z2 package.
    Within a program it could be easily changed.
    How can I change it in a SAPScript or within a Smartform?
    Thank you
    Tamá

    > How can I change it in a SAPScript or within a Smartform?
    >
    for smartforms
    in the smartforms transaction
    enter the formname which you want to change , and from menu Goto->Object Directory Entry , now you can edit the package , using the change mode option.
    For script.
    go to Transaction SE03
    Now you can see Object Directory entry option, press the change button.
    (change object Directory entries)
    Enter FORM in the input for object type, it comes in this way, now check the checkbox.
    check  RETR  FORM   <formname>
    press F8,
    Now you will see the option to change the Directory entry in the result screen.

  • Change version of package. (Pacman, ImageMagick)

    Is it possible to change or install particular version of package by using Pacman?
    For example, I've got installed ImageMagick 6.7.4-0, but one app requires ImageMagick 6.7.3, and so I would like to change this version.

    Either way, the answer is "Yes" you can.  But the "How" will depend on whether you previously had it or not.
    Sadly, I can't know this fact (and I don't know how to check this out either).
    Trilby wrote:Also either way, you should check out this wiki.

    There are things called dependencies, sometimes you have to downgrade several other packages because they depend on one another.
    Also, if packages A needs package B in version 1.2 and up, while package C needs package B in version 1.1 tops - what do you do?
    Thanks, now after reading this and wiki, I've realized that downgrading is not so good idea. Anyway, I can use my "problem-app" on VirtualBox so it's not such a big problem.

    Yes, it is installed already, there is shell output

  • Change Globalization in Packaged Application without unlocking

    Hi,
    Is this possible? I'm currently looking at the new Data Reporter application and it looks very good indeed, I can see us using it straight out of the box. Unfortunately for us it's set to English (US) so we get dollars instead of pounds in our reports. The only way I can change it is to unlock it first, but this means that it's not longer elligible for updates, so I wondered if there was a way round this.
    Thanks,
    Nick.

    I submitted a service request and got an answer, so I'll put it here in case anyone else needs it:-
    I will make an Enhancement Request to make it possible in the future to change the
    Primary Language for a packaged application.
    I will let you know the number of this enhancement later.
    A workaround could be the following for now (I tried this and it worked):
    1. Login to your database with user sys.
    2. Perform the following query:
    select workspace, to_char(application_group_id), application_id, APPLICATION_PRIMARY_LANGUAGE from apex_040200.apex_applications where workspace not in ('INTERNAL', 'COM.ORACLE.APEX.REPOSITORY') and application_name='Data Reporter';
    This will return all Applications 'Data Reporter' in your APEX environment.
    Find out the application_id in the row that is the one for your workspace.
    3. Now we will update the primary language for this application with the following statement:
    update apex_040200.wwv_flows set flow_language='en-gb' where id=<application_id you found at the previous step> and name='Data Reporter';
    4. commit;
