Change orientation of a batch of tiffs

Hi everybody,
I have to import a big set of stills (tiff)into a timeline.
The problem is that about 30% of this large number of stills was shot as "portrait" and the rest as "landscape"
Is there a way when I import, to modify all the vertical stills (that appear in the wrong orientation if I import them without a +90 rotation) as a batch if I put them in the same folder ?
or do I need to repeat the rotation for each of them individually ?

Automator is your friend:
In step 1: Change the *Start at* setting to the location of your files.
In step 2: Change the button in *Copy Finder Items* to a new location (folder) of your choosing.
In step 3: Set the type of rotation you want.
Click the Run button at top right of the Automator window.
Import results into FCP.

Can Photoshop Batch Resize Tiff Files?

I have quite a number of tiff files that I want to resize in terms of page dimensions and retain the same resolution / dpi. Can Photoshop batch resize tiff files?

Yes Photoshop ships with a plugin Fit image you can record an action to re-size an image to fit within some number of pixels. Image resolution setting and aspect ratio are not changed however the number on pixels the image will have will be less then or equal to the pixels size set. For example if you set width and height to 2000px the largest size image you could have after the operation would be 1:1 aspect ratio square 4MP 2000x2000. If your image has a landscape aspect ratio the re-sized image will be 2000px wide by less then 2000px high and if Portrait the re-sized is will be 2000px high be less then 2000px wide. Bicubic Interpolation for the re-size.
Once you record the single step action. You can batch the action. You can have batch open the image files and save over the original files or have batch save the resized files in a different location. Fit Image and Batch are both found in menu File>Automate>

My ipod touch 3 generation will not change orientation in any apps except for movies. The orientation is not locled either.... Not sure what to do.

Change Orientation of report

We are using a rtf template to generate a report and want the change the orientation to Landscape , changing the orientation of the template is not workling.
Has anybody done this using XML code
There is some property called reference-orientation but we are not sure how to use it.
Please help.

Yes, we tried to change the page layout of RTF template to landscape. We thought that this would reflect in report output as well.
Detailed Requirement: We are generating report in excel (.xls) format. When client is printing this excel report file, by default it takes orientation as portrait while printing. Client want the generated report should be in Landscape format so that they can give directly print command without changing orientation in print setup.
So we are trying to make report output in landscape format. But don’t know how to achieve that.
We thought of changing layout in RTF template would help us but no use.
It would be very great help if you could guide on us. Thanks in advance.

Create /change classification of a batch

HI,
I run in some trouble by using the 'BAPI_OBJCL_CREATE'.
What I try to do:
- I have a material M1 and one batch B1 (as batch of material M1) both are assigned to class "C_A".
- I read the classification data of Material and Batch from class C_A and store the values in an internal table.
- delete batch class C_A from the batch B1 (done with BAPI_OBJCL_DELETE) ; commit;
- delete batch class C_A from material M1 (done with BAPI_OBJCL_DELETE) ; commit;
- now I assign a new batch class C_B to the material M1 'BAPI_OBJCL_CREATE' (value tables are filled with data that was stored in internal table.; commit
- as last step the batch class C_B is assigned to the batch B1 by BAPI_OBJCL_CREATE too, commit
If I check my material i get the new class B. If I open the batch in MSC3N, I get a message, that the classification is inconsistent.
I found following reason for this :
MCH1 has the field cuobj_BM to hold the key for table INOB. The value in the batch is different to the value that is stored in INOB itself.(is updated in the right way after my comit.) The value that is still seen, is my old value that was valid during assignment to batch class C_A.
I checked the changedocuments of the batch B1 and I get the information about the new class C_B in changdoc of classification. I I check the changedoc of the batch itself, I see nothing. (FYI: If I do all the steps above in MSC2N /MM02 I get the update of the CU_OBJ (from INOB) in the changedoc of the batch.
Question:
Is this something normal and I have to write the change doc to the batch by myself (including cuobj_BM change) or could it be that this is a bug with ECC6? I think the BAPI_OBJCL_CREATE should make all necessary changes to the system (changedoc, INOB , MCH1)
(FYI: i run the same function in 4.6c without problems. Based on some ECC changes, it was required to do a comit after batch class is delete from batches and after material. In 4.6c I use still the old CUOBJ with the old and new class.)

i my case i want to create the classification for Batch search strategy transaction code VCH1.
i had try use the function module BAPI_OBJCL_CREATE to assign the classification it shows the classification created sucessfully, but that value is not come in the transaction.
can you resilve that issue.

For when Photoshop Units are set to percent the statement "if (myDocument.width < myDocument.height) " would never rotate the canvas it would alway be "if (100% < 100%)" always equal been burned by that...

Adobe Fill & Sign does not yet have a feature to rotate PDF pages but there are several websites that will rotate a PDF for free and then you can bring that PDF with correct orientation into Fill & Sign to fill out. Any of the top hits when you google "rotate PDF free" will work.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
There may be a couple of different things I would suggest here. The first thing I would do would be to check and make sure the orientation lock is off.
iOS: Screen does not rotate
If the lock is off and the issue continues, I would recommend restarting your device. If the issue continues after the restart, reset the device.
Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset

Content Viewer crashing when changing orientation

The magazine I've made seems to be crashing A LOT when I change orientations. This is more noticeable when I go back and fourth between orientation Vertical to Horizontal then imediately back to Vertical. (My client is pissed off).
I've tested this on iPad 1, 2 & 3 and have the same issue on each. I'm using CS6 and my folio is PDF rather than JPG or PNG.
Does anyone else have this problem or can suggest a way to make changing orientation more stable?

I'll give the same advice I just gave someone else. It's possible you've run into a bug, However, first try the two standard troubleshooting tips:

If so, and as you've got the switch set to notification mute, then have you checked the taskbar (the function that the switch isn't set to is controlled via the taskbar instead) : double-click the home button, slide the taskbar to the right, and it's the icon far left.
If you havn't got the lock symbol at the top then try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
