Change PAges Template graphics possible ?

I tried an invoice template in pages and it had a banner with a leaf along the top but i cant figure how to change this or even delete and start again . This part of the page seems unable to be selected.

That leaf & banner on the Woodland invoice (& probably the other Woodland-themed templates) is a master object. To delete it, first go go Format > Advanced & select Make Master Objects Selectable. Now when you click on it you will see blue handles & the objects can now be moved or deleted. The leaf & the banner (rectangle) are separate objects.

Changing page templates to horizontal format

Is it possible to change existing page templates to a horizontal format, or to create a custom template that is horizontal using either iweb, photoshop or illustrator.
I have tried playing around with the content width and height, but images and text are simply cut off. I have just begun to play around with this and the iweb help hasn't been of much help.
Any advice or tutorial or etc.,. anyone could point me to regarding this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

You appear to know how to adjust the width of a page, it sounds as though height is your problem. Height is not really all that relevent, because whatever height you set your page at, it will resize if you exceed your settings.
That being said, sometimes it won't and it depends on what objects you are using. If you find that pictures etc are cut off because of the height you have set, create an empty text box and move it down the page, this will make the page longer so you can see your pictures.

Change page template for favorites module layout

I would like to change the template the favorites module layout uses. I don't see a way to change this layout from the site default in the favorites layout page. Is this possible?
This is the page that a user would see if they try to add a favorite but are not logged in. Not the list of favorites they would see if they were logged in.

Kind of....but not really.
I had a need to essentially create 2 websites under one domain. Each one had its own look. In the section of the website that used a different background template other than the default is where I needed the favorites list. When a user click on the add to favorites link when not logged in, the user would be taken to a page with a completely different look. My solution was to hide the 'add to favorites' link based on if the user was logged in or not. If they are not logged in they see a log in option, not the add to favorites option. Going that direction allowed me to bypass the favorites module template all together and use the module favorites tag on a custom page to display on the proper background.
I don't know how elegant this solution is. It may be little bit of pounding a square peg in a round hole. My coding knowledge is limited.
The other problem I have with the favorites layout is that it just lists the items. I can't figure out an option to tile the entries in a 3x3 grid like is possible when viewing them in a category. One option I found that has potential, but I have not yet tested, is to edit the layout in Dreamweaver. This would allow you to create a better suited table that the editor in BC dose not recognize as valid HTML even though it is. I am using Adobe Muse to build the website, so I don't know what will happen if I add Dreamweaver to the mix.
I hope that makes sense and/or is helpful.

How to change page template for a single page?

I create a new document based on the Pages "Reports > Business Report".
Now the first page is formatted as a "Cover" page with a larger top margin.
Via "Format > Advanced > Manage Pages..." I see there are what I assume are the "Page Templates":
- Cover
- Table of Contents
- Chapter Page
- Text Page
- Appendix
My question: How can I change the template for a single page in my document? E.g. I don't want Page #1 to be formatted as "Cover". I'd like it to be a "Text Page".
Any hints?

Just delete the Cover section and insert a Text Page.
Click on:
+Toolbar > View > Page Thumbnails+
Click on the Cover thumbnail, it will be outlined in yellow, hit delete.
It may start off with certain defaults but you do not have to accept them.

Individual Product - Large - Change page template

Under module template, my Individual Product - Large module is using my sidebar template. Problem is I do not want it to use that page template. How do I change which page template the individual module templates use? Thanks

You can do this now.
You have

This will render US, AU NZ, UK etc depending on the country the person is in. You can do CSS styles, show images, set backgrounds, run javascript based on what this is and handle things accordinly.
With that in terms of the payment form and the checkout (you mentioned cart) if you have a proper domain setup will have their own templates.
At this time there is nothing outline for products with multiple templates directly. There are things you can do though to get different layouts depending on teh catalog being used etc.

Change page template

Has anyone figured out a good way of switching a page template? Currently I have to delete and recreate all my pages that are made from a template if i want to switch the template.

When you are editing your application go to the Page Definition, and click on the Edit Attributes button, and you can change the page template in the Display Attributes section

Changing page template

I have a page that was built with a template, but I decided to create sub-templates for sub-pages and now I would like that page to connect with a sub-template page. It simply just changes the background image. Is there a simple way of doing this?

Within the page in question, have you tried Modify > Detach from Template then Modify > Apply Template to Page? (this should allow you to choose the other template)
If the result of that is unsatisfactory, I recommend creating a new Child page from the Subtemplate and hand-carrying the content from the old page to the new.
Sometimes "sneakernet" is the most efficient policy. (in the bad old days, before networks of any kind, sharing data was a question of carrying a floppy disk [a what?] from computer to computer.)

I am using jdeveloper 11g.
I designed a page template that contains a <af:activeImage> component. I use this component with <af:showPopupBehaviour> to show a popup when it is clicked.
I want to change the image of <af:avtiveImage> when it is clicked at the runtime. Is it possible to do this in a page template? How can I do this?

Substitution strings are meant to be static, like global constants.
If you need some variable stuff, use application level items and set them using Application level computations/processes

Change all page templates in one go

Hi,
Is it possible to change all page templates in all applications in 1 go, we have 100s of applications and want to change the titile tag from <title>#TITLE#</title> to <title>#TITLE# - #APP_VERSION#</title>

As i understand you need to change all Your aps by changing the templates ?
The fastest way is to change the actual sources of the templates if You've got permission to do that.
the table i witch the templates are is wwv_flow_templates
There will be need for clob utilities but it's possible

Change the Page Template Body to use 8 columns instead of 12

Apex Version: 4.2.0.00.27
Theme: 25
I have a page that I need to divide by 8 segments, rather than 12 ( I will need to place items and buttons in one of the 8 columns).
To begin, I have made a copy of the One Level Tabs - No Sidebar page template. I have tried to edit this template, and played with multiple combinations changing the Grid Layout and Display Points settings, but instead of creating a page that has 8 columns, that span the width of the page, I am just left with blank space.

The CSS definition that comes with Theme 25 is based on 12 columns. The definition actually contains multiple fixed grid definitions for different screen sizes. For each definition, the column widths are defined (hard coded) based on the 12 column grid.
Important: the grid attributes in the page template do not define the grid, the CSS does. The attributes/definition in the page template is necessary for APEX to dynamically use the grid definition. The CSS is leading!
If you want to use an 8 column grid, you will have to re-write the CSS grid definition and alter the grid definition in the page template accordingly. So it is possible, but, depending on your level of understanding CSS and @Media queries, maybe not that trivial.

How do I change the template for a pages document?

Once you've opened it, the opened document is no longer a template. Edit it as you would any other Pages document.
If you want to use the edited document as a Template, then , after editing, go File > Save as Template, give the new template a name, and click Save.
The old template will remain available in the location where you found it; the new one will be in the My Templartes sectionof the Templates Chooser.

Graphics and Images in Pages Templates

Does anyone know if and where to find the graphics and images used in the Pages templates? I have noticed several "backgrounds" and other .jpgs that I would like to use when creating a new document but instead of copying and pasting all the time it would be nice to just know where the files are located on the computer. Can anyone inform me if i'm just missing them completely or if this is an impossible task?

It is different for different versions of Pages. Which version do you have?

Changing a "Template" Page

I am learning about DW templates. I have one concern though.
If I create a template for all of my 50 pages and then I make a
change to the template can I just re upload the template page to
the server or do I have to re upload all of the pages again? I was
told that if I change the ''template" page that I have to re upload
all of the pages again and not just the "template" page. This would
be very inefficient though and defeat the purpose of using the
template IMO.

Investigate Server Side Includes. You would only have to
upload the changed
Include file. Highly efficient.
