Change photo album cover pic

Is there any way to change the "cover" picture that is a associated with an album and displayed on the album list screen? I'm using ios7.

Can I manually rearrange the order of the pics in the album? Or is that fixed?

3.6 won't display facebook album cover pics/ windows 7/ explorer does

New laptop with Windows 7 and Firefox 3.6. So far, facebook album cover pics and thumbnails do not display under profile pics tab, although individual pics display. By comparison, eBay pics and thumbnails display correctly. On same computer same problem does NOT occur from Explorer.

It is possible that you clicked "Block Images" in the right-click context menu while saving an image.

You can use these steps to check if images are blocked:
* Open the web page that has the images missing in a browser tab.
* Click the favicon ([[Site Identity Button]]) on the left end of the location bar.
* Click the "More Information" button to open the "Page Info" window with the Security tab selected (also accessible via "Tools > Page Info").
* Go to the <i>Media</i> tab of the "Tools > Page Info" window.
* Select the first image link and scroll down through the list with the Down arrow key.
* If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "<i>Block Images from...</i>" then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.

How do I erase a specific Photo on the "Photo Album Cover" on Apple TV???

I have removed a certain photo from All of my devices. I have reset Photostream on all of these devices and I have reset Photostream in iCloud. I have restarted all of my devices in order to completely erase this particular photo. Now the photo is, as it should be, totally gone from from iPhoto, Photostream and All my devices... HOWEVER... It still pops up as the "Last 12 months Cover" when i turn on my Apple TV??? It has to go!!! How do I delete or replace this Album Cover?

Why does iTunes randomly change my album cover art?

For some reason (usually after I sync my iphone 5s to my laptop), iTunes (or the phone) will switch out random album cover art. Why is this happening? Is it a bug? It's driving me crazy!

How can I make a copy of a song, change the album cover of the copy, but have the original stay the same?

I'm trying to build a compilation playlist with songs from other albums. I want to change the name of the album in the info of the song and the cover for the new playlist. When I do this, the original copy changes as well. I don't want this to happen. Is it possible to avoid this?

Frankly I would just make your album a playlist and live with the original album names in the individual items.
If you really want to name them individually you will have to make copies of the files and add them a second time to iTunes. One easy way to do this is drag the tracks you want to a different drive (it could just be a flash drive). It will make copies of the files on that other drive. Now drag them back to an empty playlist window. That way you will be able to keep them separate from the original track until you can rename them. In dragging back to iTunes it will put a copy in the iTunes folders so you will end up with two copies of the files, the second one for editing.

Change Photo Album Thumbnail

Hello Everyone,
I am sorry if someone asked this question before but I couldn't find it even after spending too much time. Anyways, I am a new iPhone user and have created some picture folders using iTunes.
What I understood after reading some articles that the thumbnail used the last picture uploaded into the folder. I amy be wrong but is there any way I can assign picture from within the folder instead of system assigns it's own.

I have a Mac and use Apple's iPhoto application for storing and managing my photos with selected iPhoto albums transferred to my iPhone.
The first photo available in the iPhoto's album transferred to my iPhone is the photo icon or thumbnail for the album on my iPhone.
Since you are selecting a folder or folders that contain photos to be transferred to your iPhone, is it the first or last photo available in the folder which is assigned as the photo icon or thumbnail for the album on the iPhone?
Regardless, this cannot be changed on or from the iPhone. If it is the last photo file available in the folder that contains the photos, you need to place the photo file that you want as the photo icon or thumbnail for the album as the last photo in the folder on your computer, etc.

Changing Photo Album Frame Size

I am having my first attempt at designing our business web page with IWEB. In reference to the My Albums Index page, the frame styles all seem to only suit landscape style photos. All our photos are portrait layout, and so they appear within the album frame with the top and bottom missing. I cannot see how to change this, without changing the photo format, which I would rather not do. Please help.

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. I don't know how to change the frame size in the album layout but you might consider using either SimpleViewer for Flash Album Exporter plugins for iPhoto which create flash based slideshows/galleries. This demo page has some examples of them. They appear to handle portrait oriented photos well. Instructions on how to embed them in an iWeb page is included.
There is one portrait oriented photo in each example.

Album cover pic. in nano from itunes?????

I download from i-tunes. i went through the trouble of getting and writing the albums for all the songs, yet when i disconnect my nano, the name of the album is there but the picture isn't...any help?!?!

ITunes does NOT download the album covers from your own non iTunes files for you.
if you rip your own files, say from CD, you still get a link to the iTunes shop, alllowing you to search for other music by that artist.
It abolutely will NOT download that album's artwork into iTunes for you.
I just drag and drop the album artwork from amazon for each CD I rip into iTunes, and that works just fine.
Did hear speak of an application that does this for you - but I haven't seen it as yet.
So far, doing in manualy via Amazon works fine.

Recovered Photos Album

I had a Recovered Photos album (in iPhoto 9.5.1) containing1,002 pics probably created during a corrupted library rebuild.
I trashed these pics then discovered I shouldn't have.
I selected all the pics in the Trash folder >Photos>Put Back these pics and they again reside in an album called Recovered Photos and all the metadata, location, and Faces info is present when I select a photo.
So I'm back where I started. I want to move these photos out of the Recovered Photos album so won't have additional photos mixed with original group should another corrupt library rebuild occur.
What do I do to get these pics out of my the Recovered Photos album?
Can I selcted all>Events> Create new Event then delete them from the Recoverd Photos album?
Note: I am being especially anal about this process because this Recovered Photos album contains pics of my recently deceased mother and brother. I have them backed up on an external drive but I want them also in my working iPhoto Library so I can work with them.

Or should i delete my whole library and re-import?

HT2729 When I updated my apple phones with IOS7, the music videos can no longer be viewed in widescreen mode on the phone. When I turn the phone horizontal to see a bigger viewing of the video, album cover art pops up. Any idea how to change that? I hate

After the IOS7 updates, when we are viewing music videos on my phones I can no longer turn the phone horizontal to see a bigger viewing of the video. I can only see it widescreen in vertical mode which is much smaller. Now when you turn it sideways, it pops up album cover art and I hate that. Is there a way to fix that?

We are just users like you and don't know why Apple does what it does. This is not a place to "vent," it is a place to ask technical questions.
