Change php version in new Maverick Server

Hi, last weekend i update my Mac server to Maverik, and all it's ok, but today when test some php apps in this server some dont work.
I like to change my verision of php becouse i thinks some new futeres don't permite to use some setup like global varible.
Any help me to told way it's the way to change.
I ttry with this guide http://php-osx.liip.ch but i can chenge the apache show the old version.
Thanks.

There were not carrier deals with any company in Spain for the original iPhone...any company there that decided to sell them unauthorized means they bought them from somebody else (since you said AT&T card I assume they bought from US which are LOCKED to AT&T in the US and shipped over to Spain) unlocked them (jailbroke them/hacked) themselves thus making the phone void of any warentee. Legit company or not, they sold phones unauthorized. The process they took means if you update it will relock the phone and you have to find your own way to unlock.

  • Reminders in Mavericks Server?

    Is there a trick to make Reminders see a Mavericks server? Our Lion Server was seen by Reminders (even with Mavericks client), but the calendars in our new Mavericks server do not have associated Reminders. And when I go to add a list, I only see the CalDAV server from the Lion server and not the Mavericks server.

    I think should is the operative word. There's no setting within Server.app that deals with this, nor is there anything in the Calendar payload through Profile Manager. It may be possible via a Custom Settings payload, but then you'd be looking at doing this per user which defeats the purpose of the Default Settings (Settings for Everyone) feature.

  • Mavericks server and network login

    I try to set up a new Mavericks server with Open Directory so my clients can login through the network.
    On Lion it worked very good and was easy to implement.
    My computers are all on a large network and get their Ip-number fron a central DNS server. Because of that I do not want the Mavericks server to work as a DNS server, so this function is not turned on. (the same as on my working Lion server).
    I set up my client computer and joined the open directory server, light is green, so it seems to be ok.
    The problem is that I cannot login with a nework account.
    Clients are all 10.8.5
    Is there a solution for this problem?

    So far, so good. What puzzles me is the dot behind the hostname in the second query. Is this the root of all evil?
    If so, how to get rid of it?
    The trailing dot is actually a standard part of the DNS domain name.
    It's been omitted or suppressed by web browsers for many years, so most folks don't realize it's even around.  The dot represents the root DNS servers.
    These DNS root servers are the root of the DNS hierarchy.
    DNS parses and traverses from right to left, from root to com to example to www, for instance, for the www.example.com or www.example.com. domain.
    You'll sometimes see this syntax — with the trailing dot — referred to as a fully-qualified domain name (FQDN).
    (There are some common parsing behaviors that can arise when a domain specification is not an FQDN too, but that discussion is probably best left for another time.)
    If you'd like, you can enter the trailing dot in most any web browser — it'll be accepted.

  • How can I enable spotlight search on a Mavericks server?

    Hello all,
    I have 3 Macs updated to 10.9 and a brand new Mavericks Server with 10.9.1.
    Clients can access server file shares correctly but their spotlight are not indexing server shares.
    Does someone can tell me how can I do that?
    Many thanks!
    Simon

    Hi Linc,
    I'm experiencing the same problem. I've installed a new 10.9 server and migrated from a 10.6.8 server.
    Steps taken on the server so far: done "mdutil -E /" and "mdutil -i /"
    The output on a client:
    Indexing enabled.
    /Volumes/ARCHIEF_BACKUP_A:      Server search enabled.
    /Volumes/ARCHIEF_BACKUP_B:      Server search enabled.
    /Volumes/ARCHIEF_BACKUP_C:      Server search enabled.
    /Volumes/DATATANK:      Server search enabled.
    /Volumes/KLANTENSCHIJF:      Server search enabled.
    /Volumes/WEBSITES:      Server search enabled.
    No luck yet in getting search results on a client computer...

  • Change php-cli version in Terminal

    I'm one of the many people who appreciated the pre-install of PHP 5.3.x with my new mac but needed to use 5.2.x for my local development environment. I performed one of the prescribed rollback methods and when using PHP through apache it works great. A phpinfo() shows: PHP Version 5.2.10.
    However, when using PHP through the command line (which also includes cron jobs I've set up, etc.) it still thinks it is 5.3.x. A php -v from the command line shows: PHP 5.3.2 (cli).
    I need these to be in sync for a variety of reasons, including using pear (which automatically builds extensions for 5.3.x instead of 5.2.x) and cronjobs, etc.

    jeremycellis wrote:
    So I don't think I actually have a php 5.2.x binary. Is it possible to actually downgrade the php 5.3.x CLI install?
    You don't want to change the system version. You can certainly download the PHP source, compile it, and install it into /usr/local and it should run fine. Even better, since you only need this for the command line client, you don't have to worry about having a matching Apache. Just make sure that your full 5.2 PHP completely matches your .so version in terms of build settings and libraries.
    I wish macs came with apt-get or a similar package manager because I think this would be easier if so.
    That is by design. Apple doesn't want to have to deal with a moving target OS when updating. There is no "Linux operating system" - singular. Each individual Linux machine is a unique OS.
    If you want there are a number of 3rd party package managers for MacOS X. I think they are useful only in some very specific circumstances. If you jump to them without knowing all of the side effects, you could get burned. If you do the required research and have good knowledge of MacOS X and how the 3rd party package manager works, you can use it effectively. If you don't pay attention, you could wind up unable to build or run even the simplest open-source projects.

  • Mavericks Server-Need to get PHP and website working.

    Folks, I am not sure what to do here.  I am trying to get a website (jetphoto aka jpserver) working on our Mavericks server and I just don't know what I am missing.  I am trying to get it working on our local network before over the internet.
    I placed the downloaded web folder (jpserver) in Library/Server/Web/Data/Sites/
    I also placed the same folder in Library/Webserver/Documents   because I wasn't sure if this is where it's supposed to be instead.
    Web service is turned on in Server.app 3.12
    I added a web site in the Websites service of Server.app but it's unclear how to get that working and how it relates to the site I want to use.  I get a red light.
    PHP web applications is enabled in Server.app
    I went to the httpd.conf file in private/etc/apache2 and enabled the php5_module by removing the "#" before "LoadModule"
    When I go to safari and type 127.0.0.1/jpserver I getNot Found
    The requested URL /jpserver was not found on this server.
    Apache/2.2.26 (Unix) PHP/5.4.24 mod_wsgi/3.3 Python/2.7.5 mod_ssl/2.2.26 OpenSSL/0.9.8y DAV/2 Server at lpiserver.local Port 80
    If I manually invoke the index.php file in the jpserver folder I get:
    <?php
    * JetPhoto Server
    * Copyright (c) 2004 - 2010 Atomix Technologies Limited, All Rights Reserved.
    if (phpversion() < 4.2 ||
    !in_array("xml", get_loaded_extensions()) ||
    !ini_get("short_open_tag")) {
    header("location:test.php");
    } else {
    header("location:../default/index.php");
    ?>
    I am thoroughly perplexed at this point
    Where I should put the jpserver web folder so that it'll run
    How to get php working; at least the one bundled with Mavericks
    How (if at all) the web service relates to getting the site working
    How to properly configure the web service.
    Here's (http://www.jetphotosoft.com/web/manual_jpserver/) essentially what I am trying to do for reference. I thought it'd be this simple, but this much simpler it seems os OS X client with the old web sharing system preference turned on.

    It needs MySQL, which is not part of Mavericks server, so you would have to find that and install it yourself. Your chances of getting this working without prior experience are not good.

  • Upgrading BEA-Workhop artifacts to newer versions of the Weblogic server

    Hi,
    We have a WLI 8.1 stack where we have deployed the artifacts(ears) developed using the BEA Workshop. BEA Weblogic 8.1 SP4 is being used as the Application server currently. We are currently looking out for the possibility to migrate to a newer version of the weblogic server for the obvious reasons.
    The problem is that we have a lot of reusable code that we want to redeploy on the new version of the weblogic server without going into the costs of redevloping the newer integrations. I want to understand if at all it is possible to move the current workshop artifacts on the newer version of the Weblogic server. I have a vague idea that this could be done some how by using JDeveloper but I am not realy sure on how to go forward with this.
    Could any one inform me on how this could be achieved or Is there a plan on how this could be done.
    Any help on this front will be higly appriciated.
    regards,
    Prakhar

  • Change VPN port with Maverick server 3.2.2 ??

    Hi,
    on a new installed server I want to have access via VPN. Serversoftware is set up, VPN is running but connection is refused from outside.
    Did a port check and found out that only port 1723 is routed to the server on the Fritzbox router.
    Okay, now we also routed the 500 UDP and tried to switch the 1701, but as this is already occupied by some other hardware on the network (Synology NAS via upnp) we have only the port 1702 to choose - but I don´t know how to tell the server software to provide the connection via this port :-/ ...
    By the way : the firewall on the mac is switched on (OS X 10.9.5) - tried to find some settings for the ports to change there but didm`t succeed.
    If all of this info sound confusing I beg your pardon - I`m not too deep in this, just semi-professional ;-)
    Any help in this matter appreciated !!!
    Kind regards
    Roland

  • How can I save pages as a document with the new Mavericks version of pages?

    Is there any way to save a pages document as a Microsoft document?  Additionally, is there any way to save a numbers document as an Excel document?
    Since I have downloaded the new Mavericks software with the new Pages, Numbers, and Keynote, I can't save anything as a Microsoft document anymore.  Can anyone please help?  I'm a student needing an answer because most institutions only use Microsoft.  This is an extremely upsetting fall back for Apple if there isn't a way to accomplish these activities.
    Also, if anyone has any information if Apple is going to provide new drivers for old HP printers and scanners, please inform me.  My multi-functional printer is obsolete (according to a phone conversation with HP).  Currently, I have to jump through hoops to get the scanner to work and Preview crashes most of the time (with the Mavericks update).

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
    iWork does not let you save a document as an Office document by default, so you have to do some extra steps. First open the document and go to File menu (on the menu bar) > Export to, and choose the Office app to create a document for Microsoft Office.
    Respecting to printer drivers, Apple does not provide newer drivers for an obsolete printer. Instead, see if Gutenprint works > http://gimp-print.sourceforge.net/MacOSX.php

  • What are the steps to change existing sharepoint 2010 farm database server to a new server

    Hi
    i have a sharepoint 2010 farm and backend with sqlserver2012 standard edition on windows server 2008 r2 server
    now what are the steps to if  want to  connect this farm to a new sql server 2012 on windows server 2012 server and remove this existing server
    adil

    You have two options:
    Use a SQL Alias and you will then need to swing all databases over to the new SQL Server
    Don't use a SQL Alias and swing all but the Configuration and Administration databases to the new SQL Server, and individually re-configure Service Applications/Web Applications to use the new SQL Server. This will force you to keep the old SQL Server around.
