Change PO's currency

Hello,
The PO's currency comes from the supplier one.
But i want to change as the currency of the SC for some plants.
Is there any possibility to do that by customizing or i have to code it?
thnaks,
Meriem.

If you are not using vendor sub-range, then you can't able to use more than one currency for one vendor.
Currency comes from vendor master record to PO and it is locked. You can't change it at PO level.
If you want to use more than one currency for one vendor as per plant, then you can use vendor sub-range.
Have a look into the document http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/d0fe1f3c-aaab-2e10-baa8-b684e5f925fa?QuickLink=index&…

  • How to change the default currency in CJ32 and CJ33

    Dear all,
As required by the user, I want to know how to change the default currency from controlling area currency to object currency in TCODE CJ32 and CJ33. Currently, the controlling area currency will be defaulted in the field "Views in".
Could any one help me? Points will be awarded.

    Hi Christiana ,
Once you are in tcode CJ30 / CJ32 , Enter either Project definition or WBS element and this shall take you to the Budget screen and once you are here you can find a drop down with two options .One is Controlling are currency and the other one is Object currency.
Since the Currency is set to Object currency in OPS9, System shall allow the budget values in Object currency and if the user wants to see the same values in Controlling are currency ,then the user needs to view the values in Controlling are currency using the drop down .

  • Change of local currency amount in park document

    Dear SAP Experts,
I have some queries regarding the local currency in parked document.
Here are the steps to generate the issues:
    1. Enter vendor invoice using FB01 tcode. E.g the company code currency is MYR, then change the document currency to USD.  Maintain both debit and credit leg for the document. Please enter more than one expense account with different amount at debit side.
Enter the amount in document currency (in this example is USD) field and enter. System will populate the local curreny (in this case is MYR) based on the table currenct updated in the system.
At this point, the local currency (MYR) need to be changed based on user's requirement. In this case, they will be some deviation of currency rate since user has manually entered the desired amount for local currency.
    2. Park the document once finished.
3.Goto transaction FBV0 and open the parked document.
    4. You can see the ammended local currency amount still populated correctly in local currency field.
    5. Post parked document.
    6. Display the document posted and see that the local currency amount has been changed to the amount based on table rate in system.
    Queries:
    a. Is there any way to make sure that the ammended amount would not be changed after the document has been parked and then get posted? Please be informed that this scenario would not happened if the document is directly being posted without parked.
    b. If the exchange rate at document header is being changed based on the desired amount of local currency, this would not be an issue. Since the requirement is only to change the local currency amount at GL level and not at Vendor line item. But at the end the total ammended amount at GL level has to be equal to the vendor total amount. how to resolve this issue? Can standard SAP process/configuration can catered this scenarios..?
Thanks a lot for you help.
Your kind cooperation is highly appreciated.
    Kind regards,
    Yuzeila

    Hi SAP experts ,
My situation is the same - to park GL documents by uploading from a file  and then edit the local currency amount if necessary.
However in my case we have an excel sheet generated from an external system and our users want to upload them and park all the journals  at a single time.
We are using RFBIBl0 direct input program to upload the file and park then transaction using FBV1.  Alll the documents are parked with the data  as in the excel sheet.
Next step is that the users go to FBV0 to edit the parked documents and sometimes it is required to change the local currency based on the current exchange rate and then post the journal  .
However when the parked documents are edited using FBV0 the local currency amount entered by the user is ignored and the system still  overwrites it with  the system calculated amount .
    b. As per your suggestion - I cannot use FV60 using direct input program as FV60 transaction is not supported.
Please can you suggest if there is any way to park the Gl documents in background  from a file  and then edit the parked documents as required i.e change amounts and other fields.
    You help is much appretiated.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Aarthi

  • Intercompany billing exchange rate is not updated on change of the currency

    Hi,
I create a intercompany billing via VF01 with reference to a outbound delivery, and the currency is picking up from the customer master which is USD. But I need to change the currency to be the same as the PO which is GBP. So I change the currency field from USD to GBP in VF01 (both header and item level), the exchange rate field remain unchanged and still showing the USD rate instead, and the price is wrong.
Anyone know what happend to this? Appreciate your advice.
    Thanks,
    YH

    Hi Damu,
Once you change the header currency, line item currency will be changed also.
My problem is even I've change the currency to let say GBP, the exchange rate shown in the billing document is still in USD rate, but NOT in GBP rate.

  • Change of Local Currency of a subsidiary

    Hi Expets,
We are carrying out change of local currency in the begining of the financial year. Master data changes has been done and also currency translation method is assigned in Balance carryforward task. ( I have done local currency channge in the past years and it has worked properly).
When I execute, balance carryforward task in test mode, the log shows same value in LC Prior Year and Local Currency.
It has recognised in the translation parameter new currency but not translating values.
The rates are maintained in t-curr with the exchange rate type used in the currency translation method.
Can you please suggest what could be reason for not translating values to new local currency?
    Best Regards,
    UR

    Hi all,
I would like to ask what is the impact if we want to change the LC of a subsidiary in the middle of  the year e.g 12/2008 instead of a new year?

  • STWAE-Change a statistics currency in sales document

    Hi,
I have 5 Sales Order and 4 Bills with a statistics currency and I need to change this statics currency by another.
Someone known if is it possible this change? How?
    Thanks in advance!
    XeviG.

    Hi,
Document currency is the currency appearing at the header of the document under "Pricing and Statistics " tab. The field label is "Doc Currency". Hence there is no mistaking it. It can flow from the customer master , or can be manually entered in the sales order.
Condition record currency is the currency one enters at the line item level.
System will always convert the item level value into document currency value. For instance, if the line item amount is 100 USD and doc currency is INR, then condition value will be 4000 INR, if the exchange rate is 40 INR / USD. Also please note that net value of the line item and sales document will always be in document currency.

  • Change of display currency

    Hi friends,
if you post a document using f-02 the amount can be posted in a document currency and it's automatically calculated in local currency.
If I simulate the posting and then using the button "display currency" the document currency is the same like local currency. Actually it should change the two currencies and display the different amounts.
Both currencies are maintained in OBBS and OB08.
    Many thanks for your help.

    Hi Nikilaus,
Actually the translation would take place and the option you are using will work only if.
    1. The GL Control data specuify balance in local currency
    2. The document currency is not a local currency.
In your case if the document and local currency is same there is no valustion and so the Local curr and document curr will remain same. it should never be different.
Hope this clears your doubt, any point?
    Regards

  • Do I have the option of changing my US currency ba...

I was in USA and later I have come to India for a short stay of about 6 months. During this time, do I have the option of changing my US currency balance to the Indian Rupee value?
Please reply to this question. Or you may send your reply to my email, [removed for privacy]
    Thanks,
    Ronald Fernandes

You can change the currency in your account, so that all subsequent transactions will be made in the new currency. Your Skype Credit will also be displayed in the new currency. To change the currency: Sign in to your account Towards the bottom of the page, under Settings and extras, next to Currency click Change: Select a new currency from the drop-down list and click Save settings. Skype uses an exchange rate similar to most major credit cards and may involve a small fee. You can see the exchange rate for each currency in the dropdown list. We recommend that you only change your currency when your balance is at or near zero, to avoid incurring any charges.

  • Changing Controlling Area Currency

I have a business requirement to change my group currency from CAD to USD.  I would like to do it at the beginning of the next current year.  I am sure there are many implications.  Can anyone comment on this or refer me somewhere to get additional information on this topic.  Thank you very much

    Hi Christine
Do you have Material Ledger active on  your system? If so then it is not possible to make changes to your currencies.
If ML is not active and you have postings already on your system. This would be a complex change. All data would
    have to be removed.

  • How to change company code currency after psotings have been made

    Hi,
Good day! May I ask for your expert advice about changing company code currency? Is it advisable? or is it at all possible? If so, do you have a procedure for this? Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Peter

    Dear,
no this is not advisable.when You decide to create a Company, You have to decide which kind of currency You have to use for it. This is an asset. Therefor You have to take the correct decision before going live.
Now You can think to activate a parallel currency( transaction OB22), but please have strongly a look at the note 39919.
If You strictly wants to change the currency, You could refer to SLO service into SAP Market place.
Go Service Market Place homepage or Sapnet
    http://service.sap.com/slo
    I hope this helps You.

  • How to change Purchase Order currency after Good receipt and Good issue?

    Hi,
I've a PO created last year. The PO currency has been entered wrongly.
My store colleague has been performed good received and consumed it.
Now, I am not able to change PO currency to correct one, due to this message:-
Currency can no longer be changed
    Message no. 06489
    Diagnosis
As a basic rule, the currency cannot be changed if there has already been a goods receipt against a document.
If the document contains external service and/or limit items, or if an invoicing plan has been assigned to an item, the currency cannot be changed following the receipt of an invoice either.
If external service items exist, the currency also cannot be changed if services that have actually been performed have already been recorded or if the item in question has been assigned to a preventive maintenance (servicing) plan.
Is there anyway to change PO currency after Good receipt and Good issue? Thanks !
