Change pointer color 10.9
There is only one way in Mavericks to change the pointer color to white.
Go to Acessibility / Display/ invert color
This will change the pointer from black to white, but it will also change entirel scheme , some people may find this not what they wanted,
but apple still hasn't added a pointer adjustment.

Is there a way to change the color of the Bezier Curves and points to a different color other than black I find it perplexing while setting points and curves working on a photo that needs to be separated from it's background for placement on transparent backgrounds. Any thoughts?
Yes. Well, sort of: instead of a "path", set the pen tool to "shape" in the tool properties. Then set the fill colour to transparent, and the stroke colour to the colour you want. You can also set the stroke width.
Not perfect, but at least you can see the path more clearly - the anchor points and handles still remain the default colour. Open the path panel, and right-mouse click the path shape to create a selection based on that shape. The Paths panel menu also allows you to create work paths based on that shape.
Unfortunately when you try to move the handles the black thin outline appears again until you release the mouse button.
This is one of several things that works better in Photoline: in Photoline, once the path is set to a specific colour, editing the path uses the actual colour and stroke width. which is extremely handy for creating path based selection with awkward background colours and/or a high resolution screen. In Photoline the handles and bezier points are also much, much larger, which makes it rather simpler to work with as well - especially on a higher resolution screen. And when selected the handles and points are a clear red with a black outline - again easier to spot and identify. I just works better, in my opinion. -
I can't change the color of an object past a certain point, it returns to original color
Two problems/questions: Opening a file in photoshop cs4 today I noticed that all my folders were labeled as "pass through" (first time seeing this) and when I click the color icon box of an object in the layer pallete, it will not change the color past a certain point. To clarify, I have previously made an object or layer using the pen tool and filled it with a certain purple. Now I want to go back and make it a brighter purple. So I double click the color fill thumbnail in the layer and the color selection window pops up. I click the top right color of the area (which happens to be the brightest color) and press ok, but my object stays as the original color I had made it before. What is the reason for this?
Eric»Pass Through« indicates that Adjustment Layers will affect lower Layers outside the Group and that contained Layers with different Blend Modes will affect Blending with underlying Layers outside the Group accordingly.
If you change it to Normal or any of the other Blend Modes everything contained within the Group will basically act as one flattened Layer and Adjustments only affect the Group’s pixel content.
Could you post a screenshot of the document with the Solid Color Layer’s Color Picker and the Layers Panel visible? -
Hello. I am trying to change the colors on my ical. I have been able to select a calendar group, click "get info" and then "other" in the color options and which point a a lot of color options are available. HOWEVER, I can't seem to select the color. I click on a new color and press enter and nothing happens...not sure what I am doing wrong.

X11 pointer color changes to yellow
if i log in to a linux machine via ssh the original shell has the correct colors and appearance. from the remote host if i then launch an X application (xterm, emacs, etc) the pointer color changes to yellow. the cursor color remains black but the arrow/i-beam pointer color changes. this is repeatable across linux machines.
this does not happen using my powerbook running 10.4.5 and X11 v 1.1. however it always happens on my MacBookPro running 10.4.5 and X11 v 1.1. while it sounds trivial it is very bothersome as a yellow cursor tends to disappear on everything but a very dark background.
i have noticed does not happen when the remote host is OS X or solaris but does happen if it is linux (red hat, fedora, or yellow dog). while it may well be a difference in the linux implementation it did not appear until i ran X11 on an intel-based OS X machine.
has anyone else seen this? fix or work-around?
MBP Mac OS X (10.4.5)Which display? The mini's? I'll try and see.
Well, without restarting everything when I changed it it had no effect, thousands or 256 was still the same.
I have a G3 running 10.3 here that doesn't have the problem though, going to the same linux box, if that means anything.
This is the xdpyinfo from my box, basic FC3 install. I'll run a diff against yours to see if there's anything there.

How to change the color of radius for point features
Hi forum
When using the addPointFeature() in MapViewer, you can specify a double[] radius a parameter to get a circle drawn around the point. Problem is, this circle is always red, I can't find any way to change the color to black or other color.
Is there any way to do this? I'm looking for some way to add a circle "feature" like addPolygonFeature. I also tried to add define a marker circle style and add it to a PolygonFeature, but this doesn't seem to work. Any better way to do this?
Thanks,
JacobHi Jacob,
what you have tried won't work. You are just rendering a marker on the center of the polygon coordinates. The corrdinates array must be the circle points, and the style should be a line style (if you want just to draw the circle border) or a fill (color for example) style.
// build coordinates with circle points
mv.addPolygonFeature(coordinates, 0, "line_style", null, null, true);
The number of points on the circle may depend on your zoomlevel, and will depend on your application.
There is another way to generate this circle, and you won't need to care about the circle points. You could try to use the sdo_geom.sdo_buffer to generate the circle around the point clicked. Basically you need to create a jdbc theme with a SQL statement having the buffer method. For example you can try this request using MapViewer web page and the demo data set.
<?xml version="1.0" standalone="yes"?>
<map_request
title="Oracle LBS MAP"
basemap="demo_map"

How to change individual point colors of xy graph
Hi all,
I would like to plot 100 xy points to a xy chart so that each of them have a different color. There is a "plot color" property and "point color" property in the property node, but for some reason those doesn't seem to have any effect on the point colors. I bet there is an easy solution for this, but I don't seem to find it...
MarkoIt really makes little sense to plot each point twice just to make it (barely) visible in a "line only" plot, just select a plot style that contains points.
Here's an example how you could do it.

How can i change the color of the graph in agreement of the program's condition
Hi,
I am using labview 5.1 in my graduation's project final. (sorry by my english, but i am ina hurry)
How can i change the color of the graph in agreement of the program's condition?
I am developing a VI to control the temperature of termistors, but i have another sensor too.
In a graph i have the situation of the termistors, but i want to change the color of the graph when the sensor is active.
Thanks a lot
Rafael Wajnsztajn - BrasilTo change the color of the line itself, you can use the attribute Plot>>Plot Color.
To change the color of the points, you can use the attribute Cursor>>Cursor Color.
To select the color, you should have a color box constant inside the Numeric>>Additional Numeric Constants palette.
This is all in LV 7.0. I'm not sure how it similar it is in 5.1.
One important thing is to place the attribute node inside a case structure which will execute only when your condition has been filled.
If this didn't help you, I suggest you post the relevant piece of code, or at least an image of it (no BMPs, please).

Can you change the color of selected text in word?
I use Word 2010, and when I select text it is always blue, is there a way to change the color?
I use Word 2010, and when I select text it is always blue, is there a way to change the color?
My earlier posting was an error.
I apologize.
You seem to be saying that the default colour for text is blue.
You need to change:-
Normal.dotm
- to change the default colour of text.
In order to change the default colour of text take the following steps (that were tested on Windows 7 and Office 2007 - the process should be
similar, if not identical, for yourself):-
1. Open a new blank document (this should
have the default text as blue).
Save that document with a new name for example:-
c:\word\testing_aug_25_2014_2
2. In the above document:-
Insert tab
Text group
Click on the drop down arrow to the lower right of:-
Quick Parts
- then click on:-
Field . . .
The:-
Field
- window should open.
3. In the:-
Field
- window in the field called:-
Field names:
- scroll down to:-
Template
- and click on that option so that it's highlighted in blue.
Now, towards the top right hand corner of the same window, click in the box called:-
Add path to file name
- so that it has a tick (check mark) in that box.
Click:-
OK
The file name of the template should now be inserted into your document.
On my machine this was:-
C:\Users\user_name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates\Normal.dotm
The above path might be different for you.
4. I saved my document at this point.
5. Now open the file called:-
C:\Users\user_name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates\Normal.dotm
A document should open on your screen (still with blue text) and with:-
Normal.dotm
- in the middle of the Title Bar at the top of the screen.
Highlight all of the text in the document so that it's (for example) black.
Save the file.
6. Close all open documents in WORD and
close WORD itself.
7. Now open a new document and its default
text should be set to the colour that you applied at step 5. above (I used black at that point).
Does that resolve your problem? -

At some point, I changed the colors configuration of the Firefox browser window. Perhaps it was something offered in your features. Nonetheless, I like the choices of colors for backgrounds and fonts, but strangely the Menubar is both very dark blue in color, and the font color is black. As a consequence, I have to select the menu options by memory rather than choice; I would prefer reading the options.
My operating system is Kubuntu Meerkat. Usually changing such things is an easy configuration adjustment, however, under your 'preferences' of the edit menu, I could not find a method for improving design error, ie. dark background color/dark font. If possible, I would like to lighten the background to get contrast with the font, or lighten the font color of the Menubar, which is actually preferable. The preferable color is the light gold as used for the other font entries.
Can and will you help me? Thanks in advance. ShabakthanaiYou may have installed a persona.<br />

How do I change the color of the triangle in a menu bar?
Hi,
I have a question that might seem very rudimentary...How can I change the color of the little downward-pointing triangle on my menu bar items that have sub-menus? Specifically, I want those triangles to be invisible when the cursor is not over the menu bar. Right now it is black and changes to white. I'm running Dreamweaver CS5 on a Mac if that makes any difference. Is there a CSS rule for this somewhere that I am not seeing?
Many thanks for any help!

Changing line color on XY plot
This should be something really simple. I simple created a property node, set the active plot, and set the plot.color. What happens to some plots is the points change to my specified color and other stays as my background plot color which is white. I cant seem to get the line color to change with the point color. There are ways I can change it at run time, by right click on the plot and going into properties and setting line color in that tab.
What am I doing that I cant get this to work at runtime?
I attached the plot, just ignore all the missing VIs you should be able to see the problem.

Sorry, but I am absolutely horrified by your code. I cannot believe that you need all those property nodes, especially the signaling ones, they should be used very sparingly. (For example the FOR loops on top center and in the event called "clear all points" are just pumping hot air, repeating the same action and signaling (!!) every iteration.) It also just cannot be healthy if a single event calls tons of signaling properties, such as in the above mentioned event case. Then, in the timeout event, you are rewriting the plot la
bels and names every 10 ms. Do they really change that often???
Please let us help you in your overall program design. It will make a big difference in your future, more complex projects if certain common desing misconceptions are not propagated. I think entire sections of your program can be deleted without loss in functionality, the code can be stripped to <20% and the CPU usage can be reduce to <2% of the current situation. Just my wild guess.
The above is well meaning criticism, so don't take it personal. I am much harsher looking at my own early code from 8 years ago. :-) Good luck!

How to change the color of the News content?
Hi Friends,
I have requirement that we have to change the color of the date of the news from blue #9999FF to Black #000000. Can any body tells how to do this?
I have tried it by changing the theme but the color is always be same. Please help me to sort out from this problem.
I will surely rewards the points
Thanks and regards,
Kuldeep VermaDear Kuldeep,
Go to Content Administration -> click on news on left plane.
Edit the news you want to edit.
now select the text and change the color of foreground.
Do not select all and apply changes as your change will not take place that way.
So do it by selecting line by line.
Also if that doesnt work then Copy all the text of news in notepad.
Delete all text
Click on fore ground and select color as black
type some random text see if color is black or not.
then copy paste the text from notepad to this news.
Save it and refresh your portal.
Hope this will work
Regards,
Purav
