Hi,
Check the attributes of the smartforms or sapscripts.
You can give the option for landscape or potrait format.
For sapscript, the option is available in the basic settings tab.
For smartforms, the option is available in the output options in the page window.

I tried changing the value in print.print.orientation from zero to one; and then from one to zero -- restarting each time. Neither works. I cannot explain how this problem occurred since I had been printing in portrait. When I fo to print in FF the print dialogue box shows a horizontal page with a number one in it. I cannot change this. There is no landscape/portrait choice area to select. I can print in portrait in Word.

Thanks for your reply. The "details" choices that appear are: Options, Appearance, Frames, Page Headers, Page Footers. Next to Options are 2 choices: Print Selection Only which is grayed out and cannot be selected & Ignore Scaling...etc. which can be selected. No where do I see a portrait/landscape orientation choice. Should I reinstall FF?

Try using EVALUATE function.
Eg: Evaluate('TO_CHAR(%1,%2)' as character(30),"D5.Times"."Day Date",'DD-MON-YYYY')
Report level:
Try this in the column formula-
Evaluate('TO_CHAR(%1,%2)' as character(30),"D5.Times"."Day Date",'MM/DD/YYYY')

How do you change the format from Windows to Mac

Does anyone know how to change the format from Windows to Mac? When I first bought my iPod I had windows but now would like to change this. Also is anyone aware why some tracks pause for 2 seconds and then carries on.

Restore the iPod in iTunes for Mac. Restoring will erase and reformat the iPod's hard drive, reload the software with the Mac version and put it back to default settings. Once the restore is complete follow the on screen instructions to name the iPod and automatically sync your songs and videos onto the fresh installation. Press Done and the iPod will appear in iTunes and start to sync. Why are my apps changing when i change the orientation from landscape to portrait

Recently, on my ipad mini retina, when i change the orientation from landscape to portrait, the apps change. For example, when i enter a game like impossible and change to landscape to play it and then exit the screen has shifted to either the right or left and shows the first line of the next pages apps. Its kind of like when im in the middle of changing from one page to another but it only changes back to normal when i tough the screen. Im not sure if this has anything to do with the new 7.1 ios but it is becoming really annoying

I know it is not a specific app problem because it happens when i come out of some of my apps, it doesnt happen all of the time, only sometimes. Also if any of you could help me with another issue with the same device, when i connect to wifi/hotspot i get static on the screen, it is very noticable when i show a dark picture or a large amount of the screen is a dark colour but i wanted to know if this was normal with the ipad mini retina. I have seen discussions about this device having problems connecting to wifi but i havent found any discussions on this. Does anyone know could cause this?

Is the screen-rotation lock on? If it is then there is a padlock shown in the upper right by the battery icon. To turn off double click the Home button and fully swipe the bottom row fully right past the music controls and tap the padlock.

How can we change page format from A6 to A4 in smart forms

Hi,
Currently smart form is printing output in A6 page.Now my customer wants in A4 page.How can we change the page format from A6 to A4.Now the output should print in A4 page instead of A6 page.
I checked the page format in form attribtes it is DINA4.Do in need to change the page format here.
Is there any settings for this.Plase advice.I appriciate your guidence in this regard.Thanks in advance

As the form is formated to A4, now the one A4 sheet and take a print out as well take a print with A6 sheet check the difference. If the data is not printed in right way then u need to do alignment.
If it's printing in the same as it used to be, then check the settings in SPAD.

BEX: Changing date format from 'mm/dd/yyyy' to 'mon/yyyy'

Happy Friday! I need to change the date format in my BEX query from a regular date format (dd/mm/yyyy) to display as 'JUN/2008'. Please note that I dont want to modify the date field but just need to display it month and year format in the bex query. Would truly appreciate a complete answer.

Changing print format for the Shop papers -External service operations

Hi Friends ,
We want print outs for the external service operations in our PM orders .
The standard format available with shop papers is displayed with some extra info .
We want to remove those info and add some extra info .
Can we change the printing format for these and how much effort it rquires .

In OIDF, define the Shop Paper specially designed for External Service Operations.
In Order, in Print option, go to Operation Selection, select the required operation & select the print layout which is designed for External Service, so that, you can get the print out according to additional fields requirements.

We may have to wait for an update. Aside from changing the country, I'm not sucre this can be done. There is no Health App in the System preferences and no way to modify from within the app. Weird.
If you go to Language & Region under general settings and choose any other country, you will get Metric. I have the opposite problem. I live in a Metric country and want my health app to be in lbs and inches which is what I am used to.

Is it possible to change print format inside application.

It would be greate if end user can change the print format. For example one user wish get print file in Word, another one in PDF.

That's possible, on the print attributes page there's an attribute called "Item" next to the output format. Using this attribute, you can choose an item in your own application to set the output format, e.g. you could use a select list, returning PDF, RTF, XLS or HTM. You will need to use BI Publisher for this to work though.

Changing photo format from "microsoft word doc" to jpeg or other supported photoshop format

on my windows XP (home edition) i have many photos stored under "my documents." one is categorized as a "microsoft word document," despite the fact that it is a photo (this may be b/c i was very unskilled at the computer when i scanned this photo in and thus selected the wrong format? i'm still not "skilled" but i'm doing better!).
when i tried to import this photo into my photoshop album (starter edition 3.0), i got a message that says "format not supported" or something similar. how do i change the format of the photo so that it will be accepted into my photoshop album? i haven't had any trouble with photos in other formats (jpeg, etc.).

On my other computer I have a different photo software. Once I download the pictures from the card reader and left click on the photo I want, it simply gives me a choice to save it in the computer, under MY PICTURE or desktop etc. in jpg.
When I left click on the picture on the adobe photoshop 2.0 starter edition, it gives many choices such as : copy,turn, edit, but not saving.
How do I save it on the computer to add it to a real estate home sells website for pictures on the home advertisement or virtual tour. Also when the pictures were read off of the card reader it popped out all of the pictures 120 of them. I only need 3 of them saved. Please tell me step by step . Thank you.

Controlling printer formatting from within program

Hi Experts,
I have a requirement in which the user wants to that the printer's default setting of format 'X_65_1024' should be changed to 'X_65_255' in case of if he executes this perticular report.
The output of the report is ALV list display.
Is it possible to control printer's setting from within the program?
I serached and found two FMs.
'SET_PRINT_PARAMETERS' and 'GET_PRINT_PARAMETERS' .
But I am unable to understand how to use these FMs.
Is there any other way to achieve this?
Any pointers to resolve this issue would be very helpful.

How to change printer settings from serverside?

Hello
I have an ActiveX component which when loaded from client side browser changes its printer settings that is orientation from portrait to landscape. But when user clicks on this "print this page" link, download ActiveX component message is displayed. If anybody can help, how to do from serverside (IBM WebSphere) so that these messages are not displayed & printer dialog box settings change to A4, Landscape.

Though server is not connected to client side printer but when serverside script which is embeded in "Jsp" & when client(user) clicks on "print this page" link, script changes user browser settings to "portrait, a4" so there is no need to download ActiveX control which is sometimes diasbled in client browser or message is display to download that component.
I heard there is serverside script which removes all these disadvantages?

Change date format from DD.MM.YYYY to DD.MM in query

Hi,
In one partical query/web application we would like to change the display format of 0CALDAY from 01.01.2010 to 01.01 (without the year) because the data is in the columns and the analysis grid therefore is too wide. Changing this via SU01 is not an option.
Is there any way to do this in the query?

If you want to display the calday data as titles of the columns,
1) Create 2 Text Variables (ZEST1 and ZTEST2) in the title and assign them in the following format -->
Quantity &ZTEST1&.&ZTEST2& (having a point in between them)
2) Define ZTEST1 and ZTEST2 of the type 'replacement path' - the calday value can be used from either the infoobject or an input variable as required.
2) In the replacement path section of ZTEST1, give an offset value (if date format is 10.10.2010, 'Offset Start' = 0 and 'Offset length' = 2)
3) In the replacement path section of ZTEST2, give an offset value (if date format is 10.10.2010, 'Offset Start' = 2 and 'Offset length' = 2)
4) This would give the final result in the format 'Quantity 10.10'
If you want to display the calday data in the columns itself, you will have to create one formula variable of the same settings above with Offset start at 0 and Offset length 4 or 5 and use it in a CKF or formula. In this case you will have to assign 2 decimal places to the column, since this is displayed as a number otherwise. the output for the same (for 01.01.2010) will be 1.01 instead of 01.01
