Change production for SFC in a container

Hi,
During RMA receiving in SAP ME 6.0.4, we are doing Change production.
If the SFC is packed into a container we get this error message
"Change production not allowed for SFCs that are in a container"
Then we have to unpack the SFC from the container and we lose the traceability of
the container the SFC was originally packed into.
Is there a way to allow change production and still keep the SFC in the container?

Problem using Change production and SFC step status with Simultanious group

Hello,
We just upgraded to ME 5.2 SP5 patch which was released two days back, the problem with Simultanious group is fixed and SFC gets the correct next step as per defined in the router (Previously there was bug).
But when we try to use change production and put SFC in simultanious router at some particular operation as que it is getting in que at all operations and really can be started and completed even at the last operation.
Same is the case with step status if we put it in que at some intermediate operation all operation listed above are becoming in que irrespective of the flow defined in simultanious router.
Please let me know how to handle this.

BADI for changing product catgory

Hello SRM Experts,
I am looking for an BADI for changing product category.
We use classic scenario with an external catalog. Our supplier delievers us some data. Some of this data are used for statitical reason for example new item matgroup from oci interface.
now I want to determine the product categorie in relation to the delivered new item matgroup.
I have found some BADI to manipulate the Data - but not possible for product category. Thank your for help

Table that contains the change date for every cost element

Can anyone please help me find a table which contains the change date for every cost element?

If you basically want to find out if anyone changed the cost element, you need to use transaction KA05 and enter the cost element and controlling area.
This would actually bring you whatever field was changed and on double clicking give you the actual change and the date on which the change was made.
Problem is this change date is actually the creation date of a change document which is in the table CDHDR.Its not like the change date is on any master tables.

Change Log for Production Order

Hello Gurus,
I have a requirement where the production order scheduled finish date should not be changed in the BW reporting though it changes in the R/3.
For the same. I need to know if there is any way i can get to know if there were any changes to the scheduled finish date (GLTRS). I checked the CDPOS and CDHDR, but did not find any entries for these changes..
Please let me know if you have any details on where the change documents history would be maintained.

Please check the Order and Click on the Status, then go to extras and check the change documents for all.
this will display all the changes against the order, with dates and user names.
From this try to get the report developed.
Or get the status of Order status from JEST table.

Regarding change process for CRM Lease contracts

I need to create a standalone program which is used for change process for a lease contract.... The change process mainly used in my requirement is (Change of Location) & (Change of Ownership)....
I found out two function modules CRM_FS_CP_PREPARE and CRM_FS_CP_MAINTAIN which is used for change process.. I donno how to use them (I mean the mandatory parameters which needs to be passed) or is there any other way that i can acheive this functionality

have you tried to maintain the upselling product through the webUI?
This would always be my first try because COMMPR01 does not necessarily support all new features.

Have you assigned a method schema to your transaction type for Provider Contracts in:
SAP Customizing Implementation Guide
--> Customer Relationship Management
--> Transactions
--> Settings for Sales Transactions
--> Product Proposals in Quotations and Orders
--> Method Schemas for Product Proposals
--> Assign Method Schema to Transaction Type
Use a method schema that is based on SAP standard schema 000018 or at least contains module CRM_MKTPR_PP_US_GL_SC_READ ("Call the Solution Configurator to determine Global Up-Selling Products").
Place to check in debugger:
Trace the call to CRM_PRODUCT_PROPOSAL_DETERMINE triggered from CL_PROVDLPR_CHANGEPRODSR_IMPL->DO_PREPARE_OUTPUT()

Different behaviour between activity "Change Production" and web-service

We are using SAP ME 5.2.6.1 (SP06 Patch 1) - the newest version of SAP ME 5.2
In activity "Change Production" (SU540) it is possible to change shop order, material and router of SFC's.
This also works for SFC's in status DONE if the following activity rule is set
ALLOW_DONE_SFCS = TRUE.
Nevertheless if the same is tried via "Production XML" or with the given web service an error is displayed
and the operation is not performed.
When using "Production XML" the following error is shown:
Cannot change Done SFCs (Message 15050)
When using the web service (http://<host>:<port>/manufacturing-services/ProductionServiceService)
the same error occurs. I think the web service is the prefered way in the future.
For me it seems that only with the GUI activity SU540 the rule "ALLOW_DONE_SFCS = TRUE" is effective.
But should the behaviour not be identical regardless if this was initiated from the GUI or from the web service?
So is this something like a bug or is it "behaviour by design"?
If the latter is the case:
Is there a workaround possible to achieve the same outcome via webservice?

Change icon for file type

how to change icon for all of the tile type? not just one, but all!

Changing the file icon will not enable Quicktime to play Matroska files. Changing the file suffix might.
It could be a 'difficult' form of Matroska file. FYI Matroska is just a container like MOV or AVI, and some mkv have the video encoded with Real Video Codec (RV9 RV10). Perian+QT can't decode this, but VLC will play .mkv files just fine on OS X, as long as they don't use H.264!
It's a bit of a lottery until Matroska decide to support the Apple platform. I have found this:

But there may be another workaround: 1. Get Info the mkv file
2. Change to extension to wmv. Save as wmv and that could work better.

What is the impact - Activating Change Logs for Material Classification Dta

To activate Change Logs for Material Classification Data I must first set the flag for "Multiple Objs Allowed" for the Class Type 001 Material Class. I am curious of what the impact of setting this flag will be. Also, is there a way to measure the DASD impact of activating the Change logging for this data.

In addition to the performance impact the process of turning on Change Logs for Classification data will convert the tables KSSK and AUSP to use an internal SAP number as a key instead of the Material number. This will cause problems for any custom programs that access those files directly and expect the material number to be the key. This file conversion occurs during the execution of program RCCLUKA2 which is used to Flag the change logs for existing records. This can be reversed by running report RMCLINOB. Because of the above impact we decided here to NOT implement this change in production.

How to capture the change logs for the order.

Use CO03 transaction to display the production order.
Click on the i adjacent to the status, use menu path Extras --> Change documents
which will display if the change management is active.

My organisation is currently rolling out SAP business by design however is beginning to struggle with data input and amendments to SKU's (Products, cost, retails, etc).
At present done through a spreadsheet and keyed in however I would like to design basic workflow for the product change areas which can then be exported into SAP.
Is LC the product for me?

Thanks for responding. I'm probably not real sure about what I am doing.
I'm running the 30 day trial now and trying to figure out how things work.
I've looked at the comparison of the Standard and the Pro and the only
difference for me is the inclusion of Designer. As far as what I know, the
other differences wouldn't matter. There is a big difference in price if I
don't need Designer.
I do have Microsoft Publisher and have created a couple of pdf's out of
those files and brought them into Acrobat and used the Forms section for the
interaction. In your opinion, would Publisher be able to accomplish pretty
much the same as Designer?
I also have a couple of existing pdf's that I've downloaded that I need to
customize. They are some wedding photo contracts, release forms, etc for my
photography work. It seems to be easier to do that in Designer, but there's
a big chance I'm going about it the wrong way in Acrobat. I did use Acrobat
to convert one to a Word doc and then use MS Word to edit and then imported
it back to Acrobat for a pdf.
In your opinion, would the easiest way to customize those existing pdf's be
to save them as a Word doc, edit, and then import back into Acrobat to use
the Form fields?

Change pointers for PDS

Hi Gurus,
I am not able to transfer the changes to BOMs in ECC. I am using the transaction CURTO_CREATE_BOM. This transaction is not picking up the changes in BOM.
Are there any SAP Standard change pointers that I need to activate to enable change transfer for PDS'?

I did try that transaction, but it does not work. I am only transferring BOMs to APO. There is no production version attached to the BOM. And i need a production version to compare PDS with BOM using /SAPAPO/RTO_ORD_COMP.
When I run this transaction w/o production version, I get the following error -
"No comparison for product 420-0002-0002 location P100 production version : Production Version not Found "
