Change project export ouput path .../tmp

Hi all,
how is it possible to change the output path MII (12.0 in this case) internally uses when exporting a project or importing jar-files? We want to change it from /usr/sap/<SID>/tmp to something like /usr/sap/<SID>/xfer... for access and company rules reasons.

well, I've asked to be sure because I have no access to a MII server on OS level to have a look myself.

I am doning an export with direct=y. But during the export I have got the message as: EXP-00067: Table xxxx will be exported in conventional path.
Why Oracle changes the export path into conventional?

Hyperion Web Analysis Studio - Excel Export Data PATH TO EXCEL

I have a problem with Hyperion Web Analysis Studio by Export Data (Path to Excel) function on every client (windows Vista - IE 7 - Office 2007)
The problem is when I try to use the Export data to Excel, the Path to the excel program is missing and I have to go manually over the directory and choose the excel.exe to export the report, when I restart the IE I have to do it again...
Hyperion support suggested I try adding the Excel path to my webanalysis.properties file
So I now have:

Even we have the same issue.And changed the path in webanalysis.properties file.And it worked in entire report but in drillthru reports, export to excel 2010 didn't work and prompting to select the path to excel.Does anyone has solution for this??

Flex Project Exports - Adobe SWC Distribution

Hi,
I'm having a difficult time trying to find any information regarding this so I would be really grateful for any help here. Let's say I have created an ActionScript project in Flex Builder -- I am not using a Flex SDK, it has been removed from the project's library path -- instead I have added one of the playerglobal SWC files from Flash CS4 to the project. This essentially allows me to program within Flex Builder without the overhead of the Flex Framework - which I never use.
Now, if I wanted to export that project (as a Flex Builder project) when it was completed and make it available via a website, would I run into any legal problems if the playerglobal SWC was exported/distributed along with the rest of the project files - keeping in mind that the project could only be imported/re-published using Flex Builder?

Hi si-robertson, I understand what your dilemma is but I'm not sure I follow why you have your development environment setup like this. You can create pure ActionScript projects from within Flex Builder and these don't use the Flex framework at all - obviously you can't use MXML in these projects .
While AcionScript projects in Flex Builder might use the same compilers as a Flex project they don't compile in the Flex framework classes; so I'm somewhat confused why you'd even need the playerglobal.swc from Flash CS4 in your project as it'd already have a complementary version of it available?
If on the other hand you want to access Flash Player 10 functionality, again if you have the Flex SDK 3.2 or greater you can create content via the pure ActionScript projects without the overhead of the Flex framework.
I know this isn't exactly what you were asking, but in a round-about way it would negate your concern about distributing your project if it contained the playerglobal.swc from Flash CS4 as you wouldn't need to.

Need to get this project exported asap (CS6 (6.0.2)) (all details provided)

Been working for a while with a slow workflow, I didn't feel like I needed to upgrade anything, because I always got the work done (somehow)..
The file size is close to 900 MB, but there is no way I'll be able to get this project exported in a good quality (with low/average settings it freezes 5% in).
I'm going to get a new machine in the near future, but this project need to be delivered now. What steps shall I take? Thanks

Yes there are a few open gaps (intended, can be filled by "black videos" obviously- will that help?).
No third party effects.
Several effects have been applied. Too many to mention ("transform", "mirror", color changes, contrast changes etc).
I can render and export each nest separately. I think the encoder "gets overwhelmed" when it has to read the whole project (which is why I think it will be useless to try to get a proper result with my current system). Thanks

PWA 2010 SP2(!!!) - Problem to Change Project Owner

Our client has the same issue as described here:

When changing project owner we get the message "An error has occurred when saving your project to the server. Please contact your server administrator for assistance".
The error log from the queue mentions the EventHorizonFinishException (same as in the above thread).
Replies to the above post refer to a CU of the 2010 (no-SP) version that fixes the problem. However, our client's server is 2010 with SP2, so the CU is supposed to be included.
Any ideas?

Hi Barak,
First of all, ensure to have the latest CU released by Microsoft for Project Server 2010:

Then try to edit and publish the project plan through PWA and try again changing the project owner.
Finally the file might be corrupted. To repair it, try the
save as sharing or
xml export methods.

Need help changing the default Save Path

We are implementing SAP, and will be using Citrix as the source for the GUI. One of our requirnments are, that we need to change the default "Save Path" that users save documents too. By default, this is to the C drive, but, we need it set to a different drive (i.e. V: on the citrix server).
We found this note on SDN (see below) - however, it does not explain how to change or add this registry value? Is this done in the GUI options, or in regedit? If in reg-edit, where abouts in the tree does it go?

(As of SAP GUI 7.20, patch level 4) the REG_EXPAND_SZ registry value InitSaveDir can be used to configure the default path and folder for users to save the reported information in case of an access denial due to security rules. If users change the default path and save the information to an individual location, this new path will be kept as long as the user does not terminate the program. When starting SAP GUI again, users will get the configured default path again to store the reported information, the individual path changes will be lost. If the registry value does not exist, the default directory is the document directory of the SAP GUI.
By default none of the above registry values exists. In order to change the behavior of the security module, the registry values need to be created and set to the desired value. A not existing registry value means use the default.

Proper way to make bulk changes the Owner ID, Path and file share credentials for my existing subscriptions, ExtensionSettings

We are going through with an upgrade/migration to SSRS 2012 and moving everything to a different domain. We have about 200 active subscriptions running, the reports are being delivered to a file share. What is the correct way, in bulk, to change
the OwnerId, the Path and the FileShare Username password credentials for these subscriptions? I see these values are being stored in Subscriptions > ExtensionSettings. I see that the file share path and Owner wouldn't be a problem to change,
but since I see the file share credentials are encrypted I would not be able change them directly in ExtensionSettings. Anyone know the proper way to change the Owner ID, Path and file share credentials for my existing subscriptions without having to
change each one of them manually in the report manager?
Note: Reporting Services Native upgrade from SSRS 2005 to SSRS 2012.

Based on my understanding, you want to change the Owner ID, Path and file share credentials for all existing subscriptions.
In Reporting Services, the subscription information are stored in the Report Server database. In your scenario, you can go to report server database and run the query to list all the subscriptions, then modify the owner and fileshare paths in the subscriptions
table. For more information, please refer to this article: Tip: Change the Owner of SQL Reporting Services Subscription. If you want to change
the file share credentials for subscriptions, you can run the query provided by
wiperzeus from this similar thread:

Edit code for change drive letters in paths for links, to also work with Fonts that have been moved.

I have the following code that looks through my links and changes all of the drive letters to the new locations where they exist. So if something stays in the same folder structure, but moves to a new drive E: and InDesign can not longer find it, you can run the code and have it fix them all.
Well I want to do the same but for fonts that have also moved.

ok, so I have discovered where the issue came from...
The code you helped me with before, were I removed all links and my link character styles that I had (found here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/5881440#5881440)
Well it set all the items I was finding/replacing to unknown fonts that my machine doesn't have (Like Helvetic Neue Bold, instead of just Helvetica Bold, etc).
Is there an easy way of fixing this?
The only way I know to fix it right now is:
Go to Package >> go to Fonts >> Select the the font that says it's missing >> Select Find First >> CLOSE ALL OF THIS, then use the eye-dropper to select the text around that font which copies the formatting and then apply it to the text who's formatting got messed up. And then start the process all over again for the next occurence of that word whose formatting got stripped.

Cluvfy returns Path "/tmp/" does not exist and cannot be created on nodes

I'm installing Oracle RAC for SAP in AIX 5L.
After run Pre-check for cluster services setup it returns the next message:
Path "/tmp/" does not exist and cannot be created on nodes
This meessage is happening after Checking node reachability and Checking user equivalence phases.
This is my complete log:

The /tmp is a shared filesystem and oracle user can write and read it
Oracle user id is the same in both nodes
Group dba id is the same in both nodes
Group oinstall id is the same in both nodes
The primary group for Oracle user is oinstall
Where can my problem be ?

Hi,
Even if this is not resolved from above stuff then do the following
[oracle@node1] ssh node1 date
[oracle@node2] ssh node2 date
Note that it is doing the ssh to itself rather than the remaining node(s). Usually people do forget to do atleast once the ssh to itself.

Export multiple paths to illustrator

Is there really no way to export multiple paths, on multiple vector layers, to Illustrator in one go?

What did you do to get that option to be available? I don't see it. All I see, in the "Export paths to file" dialogue is the path I currently have selected. But I have many vector layers I want in Illustrator (which I've already one by one copy/pasted into Illustrator, but I still want to know).

2. Add art brush
3. Changing the direction of path ON or OFF

Absolutely... this is something I have tried to work out. There are some complicated work around, such as break the path. That works but if the object needs to retain a fill, weird things can happen. I usually copy and paste in front, break the path, then reverse path direction.
