Change project size after recording

Is it possible to change the project screen size after it has already been recorded? I have a presentation that was recorded at 670 px tall and would really like to shrink it back down to 800 X 600 so it can fit in a browser window without scrolling.
Thanks,
Whitney

Hi there
Try clicking Project > Rescale.
Note that this will likely affect the overall quality of the project. I'd start by clicking File > Save As to preserve a pristine copy of the original.

  • Changing project size / resolution

I've captured a software demo with 1024 x 768. If you want to
see this demo on a system with a screen resolution of 1024 x 768
you've got a problem to use the play bar.
How can I change the size of the slides so it fits to systems
    with lower screen resolutions?

In the menu "project" you should have an entry "change
project size" (or something similar, I've a german version of
    captivate)
In the opening dialog you can change the size for the whole
project, there is the possibility to scale the slides somewhat
    smaller or to crop them.

  • HOW TO: Change page size after page is created?

Is there a way to change the size of a page after the page has been created? In the documentation, the only way I have seen to set the page size is in a "with" statement right after creating the document. I have need to change the size of the document after a document has already been created. Any ideas?

Yep, that's how I am doing it. I just wanted to make sure that I was doing it correctly. I need to keep debugging then and figure out what the real problem is. I am new to all of this (obviously) and I just needed to make sure I had the idea correct. I didn't mean to use document and page interchangeably, I understand that you can't have different size pages in the same document.
    Thank you for your help.
[FYI]I created a class that creates a document with most of the document settings that I use (e.g. a standard number of pages, non-facing pages, units in inches, etc.) but I don't specify a page size, that's something that varies between documents, so I figured I could just apply that after I have created the page. The problem is, when I try to create multiple documents it doesn't work. The script will create the first document using the default page size settings and I can't get it to change the page size, but then the next document will be created using the page size I tried to apply from the previous document that the script created. I am sure this is totally a coding error somewhere else. I will try to track it down. Just when I think I have this stuff figured out . . .

  • Can I change book size after its designed?

I just spent hours getting my book just the way I want it but now realize I'd rather buy the larger size book than the smaller one I selected at the start of the project. Can I change the book size now before I purchase?

yes - you can change size or theme
duplicate the project before you make changes as a backup
Then just change the size (go to themes, ignore the warning and select the new size) - your text may have to be adjusted although going larger probably is ok

  • Change partition sizes after windows has been installed

After I have installed windows onto my mac and have created the partitions, can and how do I change the size (in terms of memory) of the partitions without reinstalling all information?

    Hi and welcome to Discussions,
you can use WinClone for this http://www.twocanoes.com/winclone/ and in here http://www.twocanoes.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=515 you find a how-to.
(Topic: My current Windows partition is the wrong size, and I want to make it larger. How do I do this?)
Other people have used CampTune http://www.paragon-software.com/home/camptune/ successfully.
Prior to doing this you should make/have a backup of your OSX and Windows files for safety.

  • Aperture changing pixel size after using Retouch/Repair/Clone tool?

I apologize if this is a stupid question - I'm new to using Aperture and have a rudimentary knowledge (at best) about the mechanics of Aperture.
I use the retouch tool on a portion of my photo, and the pixel size is reduced.  I want to maintain the original 12.0megapixels. How do I work with the photo without changing the pixel size - or, how can I restore the orginal pixel size after editing the photo?
I've also cropped the photo, constraining the aspect ratio at 4:5.
Here is the file info before I start working with it:
And after using the retouch, this happens:

    Frank Caggiano wrote:
Again this is not normal Aperture behavior, this doesn;t occur on my system. If you could post the screen shot of the adjustments it might help.
Sure - Here is a sample image. It is not a RAW file. It appears to be happening in every image in the library. I made a new library and it appears to be happening in the same pattern. I'm in Aperture, opened a photo which was imported directly into Aperture from camera.
Now, I'm going to crop to 4:5 ratio - from what I'm hearing, crop should not effect the 12.0 mp?
Notice how the MP is now 10.6?
    Now, I'll apply auto enhance:
In this case, it looks like cropping does effect the pixel size. It's a different image from what I was using before.
Now, I use the retouch tool:
The MPs are now 9.7 - it keeps getting smaller and smaller!
When you crop, is it normal for the MPs to reduce?
Thanks so much for your help, I'm so frustrated.

  • Change Volume size after partition

I just formatted a drive and partitioned it. I haven't add any data on both of them and I changed my mind about the size of them.
Is it ok to change their sizes in disk utility? or would be better to format them again and repartition?
    thanks in adavance

You can repartition the drive. Since there's nothing on the drive repartitioning won't cause any loss of data.

  • Cannot change project hierarchy after budgeting

Can any one please help with this.  I am trying to change the hierarchy of my project but since the project has been budgeted for and released, I get the message that I cannot change project hierarchy.  I have tried reseting the budget but this doesn't seem to be working.  Any ideas on how I can accomplish this?

You can try the following procedures:
    1. Clear all the budget into 0 ( both overall budget and annual budget)
    2. Run t-code OPSX to reset the "BUDG" flag.
    3. Try to update your project hierarchy again.
    Hope it works.

  • Cannot change dock size after Yosemite upgrade

Ever since upgrading to Yosemite, my dock is large and seemingly fixed in size at the bottom of my screen.  I used to be able to enter System Preferences and change the dock size with the slider.  When I do the same thing now, the slider moves but the dock remains frozen at the same large size.  The dock seems to function perfectly well in every other way.  Help??

    Hi rde45,
I apologize, I'm a bit unclear on the exact nature or scope of the issue you are describing. If you make changes to other settings in the Dock preferences, such as hiding, magnification, position, etc, do these changes take effect, or are they similar to the dock size setting?

  • Change book size after design?

Is there any way to do this?  I've created a book in Extra Large, then looked at the price and though, "maybe a smaller size would be OK, and cheaper." But I can't seem to find a way to change the book size.  Is this not possible?  Do I have to redo the book again?
    thanks for any help

Create a copy of your book (select the book (not the images in it) in the library inspector panel, then go to "File >Duplicate Book".
Open the copy of the book and click the "Theme Button" in the upper left corner of the Book panel and pick a different theme. Select a different size.
Changing the Book size may modify some text fields. That is why I recommend to try this with a copy of the book.

  • How to change midi velocities after recording?

previously when I used EZdrummer i would just write out the beats using the piano roll and a mouse, and then i could easily click the little tab at the bottom of the piano roll and change the velocity of any note.
But recently i've started actually recording through EZdrummer using my Roland electric drum kit. I recorded a whole song and then realized that my double pedal on the bass drum was set up a little crooked so the left foot didn't pick up as well, therefore all my left footed hits are quieter.
i figured i could just go into the piano roll and change the bass hits and make them consistent, but instead of the normal separated orange lines i'm used to, the velocity shows up as one big blue line and i cant seem to adjust the velocities of individual drums.
    please help!

There are so many ways of adjusting velocities in Logic.
Spend a little time reading the manuals - read the piano roll chapter, the hyper edit chapter, the event list chapter.
There is a velocity tool in the piano roll editor, so simply click on the note on the left (which will select all MIDI events on that note) and use the velocity tool to increase them.
Lots of other ways as well, but that will get you started.

  • Is it possible to change /u01 size after installation?

Hi, i have installed oracle linux and by mistake i kept /u01 size as 2GB. Which should have been 8-10 GB.
Now can i change it? Please advise.
You help would be highly appreciated.
    Thanks,

It is possible but depends on the underlying hardware design and OS features used. Terms like physical disk, partition, virtual disk, logical volume management come into play, which require more more information to be able to answer your question.

  • Change font size after installing OS X

After installing Snow Leopard OS X 10.6.3 all my fonts (top row, Apple menu, Safari, iCal, iTunes, et al. et al.) are very small font (10 point at best).  I have manually increased font in Address Book and Mail, but cannot find the solution for others.  Appearance, in System Preferences, (the logical place for this) has no option.

I have a MBP mid 2010, and after installing Maverics, the following apps will not launch, as in "not responding" when i try to launch them.
    Maps
    Photo Booth
    Apple Script Editor
Color Sync Utility (did launch but after pressing the "Profiles" button, it crashed)
    Grapher
Also struggling with streaming sites like Netflix, extremely slow launch the video (No network issues, tried on different network).
The problem isnt percistant, occasionally the programs will launch and work.
I have tried re-installing OSX. I sent the machine to apple service, where they told me my hdd was defective. So i bought a new SSD harddrive and installed Mavericks and i still have the same problem.
Does it sound like a hardware or a software problem?

  • Snippets and Project Size

    Hello,
Does anyone know if reusing text in snippets reduces the
project size after it has been generated?
    M.S

That depends on the amount of text in the snippet. Don't
forget to consider the additional characters required for the
various tags used by snippets in the HTML. However I think if you
are worried about the size of your output you have far bigger
problems. The size of a reduction / increase is utterly
    negligible.

  • After creating a pdf can I change the size of the font when uploading in acrobat and what version?

After creating a pdf can I change the size of the font when uploading in acrobat and what version?

What do you mean by "uploading in Acrobat"?
(Note that if you change the size of text, it won't reflow, so you end up with a mess. Answer is, probably not useful)
