Change quantity for a PO
Hi All,
User has problem in changing the quantity of a PO. The invoice of the PO has been cancelled by A/P, but still he is not able to change the quantity.
Iam new to SRM, what is the process to be followed in order to change the quantity in a PO for an exisiting shopping cart?

You did not mention which scenario you are working in.
Assume that you are in ECS, log in to SRM URL with purchaser role and click Purchase Orders on the left side menu. Then click Process Purchase order , select your PO, click change button and go to item data to change the quantity.
This should allow you to change the PO quantity.Let me know if any questions.

Problem when changing the target quantity for a contract
Hello,
I have a problem when i try to change the target quantity for a contract through the BAPI 'BAPI_CONTRACT_CHANGE'.
I filled the tables 'item' and 'itemx' with new values. the BAPI 'BAPI_CONTRACT_CHANGE' returns no error, but after using the BAPI 'BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT' I get an info message from SAP and the modification does not pass.
In debugger I could locate the error. In fact, the appeal of FM 'ME_UPDATE_DOCUMENT is done with a table XEKKN with the new values of the quantity and a KZ code equal to ' I ' to insert, then it must have the value ' U 'for update .
Is someone can help me to solve this problem?

Change available quantity for Sales Order line during ATP control

When sales order is created and item line is entered I need change available quantity for material. I mean not ATP quantity but available quantity (MCHB-CLABS for material/plant - I need remove some batches from logic)

WM: Sending output for delivery after changing quantity on TO by shipping control
Dear Experts:
You have to allow user to change quantity of delivery, for all kinds of reasons, for example, they didn't find enough inventory to ship!
There are options: at SPRO WM interface for shipping control, select copy WM quantity (to delivery), you can choose:
------ "1": copy quantity,
------ "2", copy quantity and post goods issue.
I want to choose "2", since after changing quantity at TO confirmation then going back to outbound delivery and Post Goods Issue becomes an extra step, since you are not changing anything there.
Now the problem is the output. Since the delivery quantity has been changed, another output must be sent with the new quantity.
The requirement (in output determination procedure) to trigger the output at Post Goods Issue is "1": Delivery GI posted.
Then for the output condtion, for the "Dispatch time", I tried "4".
In my testing, the delivery was updated with the new quantity and PGI was also completed, output was also created. Perfect, but DAMN, the output just doesn' go, It is yellow "0 Not processed".
I had to use VL02N, open the delivery, then save it, now it went out, "1 Successfully processed", since now the "Dispatch time", "4": Send immediately (When saving application), " is met..
I tried "Dispatch time", "3", and "1", doesn't work too.
So I could just set up shipping control ------ "1": just copy quantity and not to PGI, then get users to PGI with VL02N, it just makes me feel bad, I wanted to automate the last step, PGI and get my output with the new quantity, so Is it possible?

How to get the open order quantity for a material

Confirmed Quantity for Item in sales order
Dear All,
In one sales order there is confirmation block (this is through the delivery block in the sales order header level).
The sales order contains BOM (header and it's sub items) and some standard items also two third party items.
When the sales order is saved there are no confirmed quantity for any of the item except the BOM header.
May I know what could be the reason to have this BOM header confirmed quantity..??? this is leading to a problem in the data from sales order.
Is there any customizing related to this item (item category or schedule line category) to look out for..??

your issue is quite broad. outcome depends on -
1. configuration of delivery block (which, in your case, we can assume to include confirmation block)
2. selection of availability check and MRP type in material master
3. schedule line category and schedule line determination
now in standard, if the order line item category is TAN, and MRP type is PD and availability check is PD... the system might temporarily confirm the item even when putting a delivery block at header level, but the system should delete confirmed quantities when you save the order. you can check the confirmed quantities when you open the sales order in change mode... the confirmation should be zero.
however, in third party items (item category TAS), these items are normally confirmed even in change mode. this may hold true if either MRP = none (e.g. ND) and/or if availability check is KP (no check).
nevertheless, regardless of confirmation quantity, the system should not allow creating of delivery while delivery block is in place.
please try these scenarios and post your feedback.

I need to use a Sales BOM but the problem is that the child items in any Document marketing, such as Sales Order, the quantity for that child items it´s possible to edit independant of the father item code, and I don´t want this because allows to users to change diferent quantity for child items versus the quantity of the father item code.

i am changing quantity using 'bapi_salesorder_change' function.what are the minimum parameteres that needs to be passsed to the function.i am not able to change the quantity for some items.also for some sales orders i am not getting any error message but commit work is not working.

After you call the BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE, specifically call BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT , as BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE does not run a database commit.(as per the documentation provided by SAP for BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE)

Diffrent Quantity for Condition Type

Can we maintain different quantity for a particular Condition Type.
If Sales Quantity is 1 ea I want 3 Kg for a particulat Condition Type.

Actually its not UoM only difference but its also quanity.
I want PR00 condition to be calculated for 1 Ea But Feight to be calculated on 3 Ea quantity. When I try to change the quantity of Freight Condition its split the price of 1 quantity which I have maintained in VK11. (For eg in VK 11 I maintain freight condition as Rs. 100 for 1 ea but when I change the quantity of freight condition (Only of Freight Condition Type and not the sales quantity) in pricing to 3 its split the Price to 33.33 & total as remains Rs. 100. I want the same to be Rs. 300.) Hope I would have clear my problem.

Issue while updating(Changing) quantity on line at quick sales order form
Hi,
I am facing a issue while changing quantity ordered on the order line in quick sales order form. (R12.1.3)
Although the same logic works exactly as required in 11.5.9.
There is a custom logic, post booking line status is Awaiting Shipping.
Now when quantity is changed +(Saved), the status changes to a custom state but at the same time a new row is created with the same line id but different reservation id in the MTL_RESERVATIONS.
The quantity here is the difference between the original quantity and the new entered quantity.
And post completion of the custom logic the original row is updated, but being there a additional row the quantity reserved at the shipping tab comes wrong.
Our requirement is of update which is happening but not the additional insert which is going into MTL_RESERVATIONS.
The logic is perfect in 11.5.9 and no additional insert is being made.
Kindly help and give some ideas for the possible reason the issue.
Please ask for more information if required.

I have gone through the note id that you have given. sorry to say that, that is refering to diffrent issue.
Actually what i did is, At form header level, I have hide the fileds using the folder options. once after changes I have closed the form and re-opened it. by that time I can see that Button names got changed in bottom of the "Quick sales order form". Not sure how it become changed. there five buttons over the form, only two button names got changed.
Kindly suggest any other options. -

Capture ERFMG - Requirement quantity for a component

I am writing the code in an exit EXIT_SAPMM06E_013 where in i cannot capture this value from this structure.It is not storing in a database table also . how can i get this value ?

It is exactly what I have done but as I above mentioned:
Subsequent problem
The system schedules the dates correctly on the component level, but re-schedules the dates for the project the day you schedule and erase the complete old scheduling dates except for the activities with constraints.
If I have an "old" scheduled project and I add some new components anywhere in the complete project structure additional needs. I go then to the project definition level and schedule the complete project. My result is that on project definition and WBS elements no changes but on all activities (without confirmation) the system put the start date the day which I re-schedule the project.
That what I want to avoid and let the initial planned schedule date on activity level the same as before re-scheduling the project.
Do you have any further advices?

After that he tried to reduse delivery quantity for those materials, but the error message "Picked quantity is larger than the quantity to be delivered" appeared. WMS transfer order
GR for PO reversal doc.
Transfer order is confirmed and completed.
What can I do in this case. Create new TO? Post GI?Hi,
Select the item with status A, then go to menu>Environment>Document Flow, check whether picked TR or TO was created already? If yes, delete the TR or TO, then you can change the delivery quantity; if no, you could change the delivery quantity directly!

Change quantity in periodic billing plan
Hello Gurus,
I have to map contract relevant billing with periodic billing plan. But here contract quantity and billing quantity can be differ. But as per the item category billing relevance "I - Order-relevant billing - billing plan" i can not change quantity while creating billing document.
Can any one suggest me what should i do to change the billing quantity in this case ?...
Any user exit or enhancement which can help me ?..what should be the logic ?..
