Hi Folks
We edited the film in Premiere and now I am about to grade my film shot on Scarlet, as you know we need to bring the entire sequence from Ppro to SG in Red logfilm. So how can I change the source setting in Premiere all at once before bringing them to SG?

You can set the default duration of stills but you have to do it before you start the project.
iMovie is not really suitable for stop motion videos and iMovie 10 is worse than iMovie 9 because the minimum still duration is not really controllable as you have found. I don't have experience of making such videos but there are 3rd party apps which appear more suited to this, for example http://www.macworld.com/article/1146623/stop_motion_Mac.html
mentions some of them, though its a bit old and you may be able to find more up to date information.

SCD - source sets where multiple changes exist for the same natural key

I am using the Oracle SCD type2 method (end date old record and insert the new record) which was working fine until my source set contained multiple changes for the same natural key. Does anyone know of a way to handle this?

I think, the way of handling multiply changes of NK is totally depend on business requirements for your project.
There could be number of approaches for this. For example:
- all changes but the last are considered active during one day, going subsequently right after previously existed SCD record;
- all changes but the last are considered active depending on its occurrence within fact data (as far as you consider NK change based on some attribute set - probably some of attributes show themselves within fact data)
- etc.
So, make an agreement upon this with your customer and ETL design decision will follow immediately.

Hi all,
I'm working with good old Premiere 6 on Windows 7.
Is there a way to change the duration of a group of selected clips all at once? If I have a large group of clips in my timeline that are all the same duration, once I've selected them all in a group, can I somehow change the frame number duration of all the clips at the same time?
I've found other things that can be done to a group of clips at the same time, but I can't find a way to change the duration of a group of selected clips.

In my efforts to work around the problems with the distortion and horizontal interlace lines that come when using the Motion Settings, I'm doing stop frame animation with hundreds and hundreds of layers in PSDs in multiple files placed in hundreds of one, four and six frame sections in Premiere, so if I find that I need to change the number of frames per clip in hundreds of consecutive clips (not actual duration of speed changes), then I need to pull out the right side of hundreds of frames after first moving them apart enough to allow for changing them if I'm making them longer.
These animations are different from the rotating reel animations in that they are for laterally moving subjects that are long streams of moving graphics and photos.
I read about "clip nesting", but I think that only applies to clips or groups of clips that are the same, whereas my clips are each from different imported layers times 125 or so, consecutively placed one after another to create the laterally moving stop frame animation.
Now I've tried johnbmx4christ's alternate method of creating rotations that was just posted on the other thread about the rotation distortion, but that method results in the same oblong distortion and messed up looking horizontal interlace lines.
What a can of worms.

If not you're into using file recovery software like File Salvage - you can download a free trial and it will scan the disk for you and tell you with might be recoverable. Actual recovery will require that you purchase the app. There may be many files with the same or similar names. Always recover the largest file size.

On your phone: Settings>General>Usage>Music...tap the Edit button...then the red minus sign. This will delete all music on your phone.

Is there a way ? changing font / color in all the title lips at once.

i am making intro titles.. but now that i have made all the title clips... i really feel i need to change the font style.... also the color .. ( color i can go to the color board after making it to a compound clip..) but to change the font for all the title clips at on go ,,,, what do i do ???
I really feel this will be a useful and much demanded feature... i dont know if there is a way which already exists... do let me know.. thank you..

You can make multiple selections of titles and make changes to parameters (like color, font, etc.) and have them apply to all selected titles at once. Use the Text inspector especially if you have varied titles -- it's easier.
Be careful you don't make changes you don't really want to make (changing font and size can bash the formatting of specific types of titles, like lower thirds or some of the bugs.)
If you run into the situation where a value does not appear, for example: you select several titles of all different font sizes, the size slider will look disabled. The slider might be disabled, but you can click and drag up or down on where the number should be to adjust "relative" sizes (you'll see something like +6 or -4, etc.)

The simple answer to your question is YES, you can do
that.....BUT, be careful!! Changing the EQ and/or
Volume presets actually updates the headers in your
music files. So, by clicking Edit/Select-All, you
could launch a mass change, but you're talking about
3000+ updates. I would start off with a small batch,
then go larger as you gain confidence in the process.
A word to the wise......be careful.

What about File, Export, Text Captions...? You'll have a Word document with two columns. Translate the second column (much easier in Word) and import again. That is the normal work flow for translation. Same is possible with XML instead of Word.

Can I access system preferences, WHILE migration assistant is running on the source computer, to change the sleep setting?

I have started Migration Assistant and have NOW learned that I was supposed to change the sleep setting in System Preferences to 'never'. Since M.A. is running right now, can I change the setting or will it mess up the transferring of data??

Thank you for responding. We did continually move the cursor for a few hours, but still had 13 hours to go, so after feeling we had nothing to loose, we did go into System Preferences to turn off sleep mode and we were able to do so on the source computer. Now in the morning we see that MA kept running for 8 additional hours.

Welcome to the Support Communities!
As a precaution, I would suggest backing up your iPhone to your computer via iTunes as well as iCloud. Then you can delete one of your two backups. The article below will explain all of your options for deleting data or backups from your iCloud storage.

I would like to set all the properties of a bean, that is instantiated in a servlet, at once. The values I want to set the bean properties with are kept in a request object coming from a jsp. All form parameter names of the jsp are the same as the names of all bean properties.
I would like to set all the bean properties at once, so I don't have to use the 'getParameter' method for every bean property. Actually just like when setting properties in a jsp using the setProperty tag, but then in the servlet.
Is there a possibility to do so?

You have an html with a form, after submitting, forward the user to a jsp page with the following code:
// instantiate bean
<jsp:useBean id=�cust� class=�Northwind� />
// set all bean properties
<jsp:setProperty name=�cust� property=�*� />its up to you what to do next, you could simply forward the user to your servlet for database storage, etc. hope this helps, good luck!
