Cant change region code for final time.

Hi all,
I've changed the region settings on my drive 4 times and am now wanting to make the fifth and final change to region 2. However, when I insert a region 2 DVD and am prompted to make the change the program quits immediately after I select the new drive region.
I have tried VLC and that cant play a region 2 DVD although it plays region 1 fine as does DVD Player.
Anyy help would be greatly appreciated.

How to delete the region code for country in T005U

Hello,
The region code for XX country are changed, So I have deleted all entries for that country in transaction code "OVK2" and updated the new region code which should be updated in Table T005S and T005U.
But in table T005U there are few region code for language other then EN. Now I need to delete the entries T005U for other language.
Now region code in OVK2 = Table T005S, but not equal to T005U
How language can be selected to delete the region code (TABLE T005U), please advise.

Hi Praveen,
In order to delete the entries from the language table T005U, you will have to maintain in T005S.
It means that, suppose in table T005U, you have a region appearing in two languages danish and german and the corresponding entry does not exist in T005S, then follow the steps below.
1. Maintain Region XX in EN in T005S.
2. Log on in language Danish, and in table T005U, only delete the text and log off.
3. Log on in Language German, and in table T005U, delete the text only and log off.
4. Now your T005U table is clear, log on in language EN and delete from table T005S.
5. Check both tables T005S and T005U for the region XX. they both should be empty.

Message tells me it's time to change my 200 black ink cartridge.

So, I installed a new cartridge from the same two pack I have been using. Same message.
Bought another one, same message.
Looked at contacts, looked clean, but GENTLY cleaned them with rubbing alcohol.
Same message.
Any suggestions? I'm pretty sure this copier/scanner is a little over one year old.
As it was quite reasonably priced, if I take it somewhere, it'll probably cost more to fix than a new one.
Bugs me though. Shouldn't be a throw away item.

I noticed that you are getting a message telling you it's time to change my 200 black ink cartridge. I am happy to look into this for you!
After searching for your product name, the only printer that is coming up for this, is an EPSON Expression Home XP-400. If this is your type of printer, I would suggest to contact Epson Support.
Otherwise, if you have an HP printer that you need help with, please respond with your printer's Product/Model Number. To find your printer's Product/Model Number follow instructions in this link. Finding Your HP Product Model Number, and I will be glad to help!

Changing commodity Code for material grp under certain plant

I would like to change commodity code for some material group under certain plant
May I know how to do this.
I went to the following SPRO path, however, the table does not mention the plant and the material group for me to change.
SD>Foreign Trade/Customs>Basic Data For Foreign Trade>Define Commodity Code/Import Code Numbres by Country.

The commodity codes are defined by Country, not at Plant-Material group level.
You can find this customising on: SPRO > Materials Management > Purchasing > Foreign Trade/Customs > Basic Data for Foreign Trade > Define Commodity Codes / Import Code Numbers by Country.

Hi,
Commodity codes are define at country code level not on basis of plant or material group
Weather it is one plant or many plants belongs from one company or different companies the commodity code is unique and it define by country legal authorities which are responsible for foreign trade.
You can add commodity code for country and then you individually or by mass change you can change in material master.

How do I set the region code for my Mac?

I have been using my powerbook since 2004. I must have changed the region code once before for the DVD player. But since then any and all DVD's have played - unless the DVD itself had a problem. A few days back i put in a DVD which needed region change. Without thinking I changed it and now I have DVD's that used to play before, not play anymore. Please let me know how I can put the region code back to what it was - where all DVD's played.
I don't think I have changed the region code five times - but can one really nor change the code once it has changed the fifth time???????? Please advice.

I got a prompt when I had inserted the DVD which needed region change. But not now when I put in any other DVD. Some work, some don't. Is it not true that when changing the fourth time, the machine gives some indication that the next time will be the last? I thought so, whcih is why I am wondering, why it is not prompting or warning me.

Continually have to Set Region Code for DVD Help?

This drive, so I've discovered, is not supported (Disk Utility says Burn Support: Unsupported).
Every time I put in a DVD, it says that the region code of the drive and the disk don't match (Drive is Region 1, disk is region 2). I lets me change the Region code, but next time I put in a DVD...same thing all over again.
Oddly, it always states "You can change the Region code 5 more times"
Any ideas?

If your LG doesn't work, give the Pioneer a try. Before I bought it, I researched many other's experience with it, and it seems that the 115D is the winner. Just thought I'd help with additional options for you. In my humble opinion, I don't think it's wise to spend so much time fussing with a $30-$50 DVD drive vs. getting a new one and getting the Mac back on track for work/fun.

Region code for DVD player

When I was visiting another country on vacation I watched a movie and guess it was the 5th time of me changing my region code. So appaently it is now permanent and I can no longer watch dvd's on my mac, import cd's or install software. How can i change my region code back to canada?
Please help asap!

Be sure to type accurately when asking about "DVD player". We don't always know if you mean DVD drive or Apple's "DVD Player.app" software.
Region code data is changed both in the firmware of some DVD drive hardware, in the base UNIX operating system software, and in the "DVD Player.app" software. For a particular drive, if it has region code protection firmware (those sold in the white market in countries that comply with the motion picture industry "suggestion"), will become locked for DVD region coded disc playback after 4 changes (5 code uses). Even if you have a region-free DVD drive as I do, the OS and "DVD Player.app" will stop allowing you to play region-coded DVD movie discs. You can (and I have) overcome this in several ways. I won't elaborate because Apple may feel it their duty to censor my comments. I will go so far as to say an "Erase and Install" will reset the region tracking for everything but the drive firmware.

RH Automatically Changing HTML Code for Links

For some reason, RH is doing something to the links I create. In my stylesheet, I have the following code for links:

When I create a link, the HTML code looks like this *at first*:
<a href="Development_Plan.htm">Development Plan</a>
But then, after I save the file and switch to HTML view, the code looks like this:
<a href=" Development_Plan.htm" style="color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline; ">Transcript</a>
I am not doing anything other than saving the file, and that apparently causes RH to automatically add the style (color and text-decoration). Why is RH adding that? It's causing my links not to change color when you hover over them.
How can I make RH stop doing that, so my links display as defined in the stylesheet?

This is strange behaviour. How exactly do you create a hyperlink? I have seen this behaviour only with links that are empty or contain a single space.
As a workaround, in your css, add the !important declaration to your hover styles:
a:hover
Although this isn't an elegant solution, it will overwrite the inline styling of the link and thus change colour on hover.

Changing regional settings for a printer

I have printer which is purchased in US and being used in India. It had HP 61 cartridges. Once cartridge finished, I click on buy online from hp help. It showed me 802 series to buy which I ordered online. Look at different support pages, I called HP call center for regionalisation reset, however they need original cartridge in working condition which is not possible now. I have infact thrown old ones. Buying 61 series in India will cost more than a new printer cost. Can you please let me know how to make this printer work with 802series?

Change tax code for Inbound invoice Idoc

My requirement is to change the TAX code in INVOIC01 for inbound idoc ,Basic type in E1EDK04 segment.
I am using exit EXIT_SAPLMRMH_012 .
But change tax code is not refleted in IDOC segment.
Even i put E_CHANGE = 'X'.
Please any one who have donne this before help me its urgent.

As per the requirement i need to change the company code for some records for company consolidation.
I need to convert three company codes with one comapny code.
Is it possible or there is any work arround. answers will be rewarded.

Probably not the answer you are looking for but SAP has [SLO|http://www.sap.com/services/bysubject/consulting/brochures/index.epx?PageSize=10&ActualPage=4] (System Landscape Optimization) consulting services. This service is used by SAP customers when they need to change data (master data/transactional data) during say a company consolidation.
Changing data in SAP tables directly is obviously highly discouraged, especially in a productive system.

Cannot change company code for functional location in PM module

Dear Gurus,
When I try to change the maint plant for topmost level hierarchy FL, I get error. So I cleared the data in organization tab (planning plant....) and tried to click location tab but receive warning (After changing PM planning plant, please check dependent objects) & cannot proceed. Kindly advice me on how I can change the company code for all the functional location in the plant.
