Hi friends,
customer use quotation and quotation date fields for other purposes thus need to change field description to make it more sense. I followed below link and changed qutotation..but same solution didn't apply to quotation date (data element IHRAN)

Use Quotation date in PO header as an example.
Prerequisite: You might need a access key to access below steps.

Error in FB60 - Additional account assignment required for field BSEG-HBKID

Hi Experts
While posting an Invoice for a particular company code in FB60, we are facing the following error :
"Additional account assignment required for field BSEG-HBKID"
Message no. F5A122
Diagnosis
Additional account assignment has to be carried out for some fields on the detail screen.
System Response

Procedure
Select the relevant items and call up the detail screen.
We are unable to post any Non PO Based Invoices in this company code.
Kindly guide us on possible methods to rectify this error.

First Check the setup as described by Atif,
Also in OBC4 you will not find HBKID field, for this u need to select appropriate FSG, Under Payment Transaction Group please check if own Bank field is optional or not. by doing this as optional system will show House ban Field in Payment Tab of FB60, will be enabled and there will be two field one for House Bank and Other will be for Account ID.

How to get change log for fields if change document flag is not maintained?

Hi experts,
My requirement is display the change log details for the transaction FAGLGA32.
In this transaction we have the Field Groups block.if any change is happened for field group we need to capture the change.
the field for the field group is RKAL1-FGFLG1 and the data element is FGFLG.
In the data element FGFLG, the flag CHANGE DOCUMENT is not maintained.
How to get the change log details for the fields for which the change document flag is not maintained at data element level?

do a modification for the data element or try Audit Trail (depends on your release)

English Version for field description in CO reports

Hi,
I am using a standard SAP report from CO -> example : S_ALR_87013599. However, when logon in English version, the fields description are not in English. Some other reports do not have this problem. When I logon in Chinese language, it is ok. The description will be in chinese.
Please advise how do I change the fields to English decriptions. And will it affect the chinese language after the change ?

Hi,
Try imporitng the reports when you are log-on in English via OKD3 transaction. This should solve the problem...
Also check your GCRS (transaction) definitions

1. No its not possible.
2. At the most, we can set the WIDTH of the
column, to ACCOMODATE the field description.
3. We cannot do WRAP as u require.

Change required input fields in XD01

Hello everyone,
I am doing development to Enhance transaction XD01. I have one additional button which execute popup window. This window retrieve some data from external system. What I am going to do, is override required (for instance Address) data in program SAPLSZA1 on the screen 301 using data from popup window. I'd achieve this before save Customer data. Any idea how to overcome it?

U can try to use the BADI CUSTOMER_ADD_DATA and/or CUSTOMER_ADD_DATA_CS: these BADIs open new TAB where you can try to manage your issue, else I believe you need to change the std one, but it's dangerous because SAPLSZA1 is central program where all addresses are managed

If you have VS .NET 2003, then all you need to do is install CR XI Developer. I would not recommend using the RDC in.NET for two basic reasons:
1) The RDC has not been tested in .NET (thus no escalation is available for any fix issues)
2) The RDC has been retired in CR 12. This may have implications for the lifecycle of your project...

Wildcard Search requirement for Items description and BP Name

Hi Friends,
I want to know is there any feature in Item Master data or Business Partner Master Data in which search is done by putting middle or last name. For example the Item Name is Electric Motar 345 Gear
and when the user wants to search it by say Motar 345 then all items which inclused Motar 345 should come highlighted.
Same for BP also its required as BP name is Glem Tex Japan Pvt Limited and now user wants to search the BP by say Tex Japan and all BP which includes the word Tex Japan should come.
Is there any possibilities by which this can be achieved. Its somewhat wildcard search required. I heared its possible in B1.

I have exactly put the same as 'Motar 345 after Opening the Item Master Data and in find mode pressed * Enter and put the above in Find and selected Item Description. But sorry to say that nothing is coming and the cursor goes in the last item master data.
What might be the problem can you please tell me.

Change datatype for field of report

I have a report that uses a Stored procedure for a datasource - it originally had to fields that were "number" as the field datatype and took an integer from the Sp.
I've since changed the datatype for that field from int to smallmoney. How can i refresh these links for the report without deleting the data source and loosing the report as it is now. The names stayed the same. Only the data type for two fields changed from int to smallmoney.

XI Changes required for R3 Upgradation

In current EBS version, we had done so many personalizations, customizations (in custom.pll & at form itself) as well as open interfaces.
Same things we have to do in R12 also.
we are unaware about the Technical platform used in R12 .
What are the changes at Technical perspective in R12 compare to 11i ? so that we can prepare ourselves accordingly .

Drop down required for fields in dynamically generated structure

Hi All,
I have an application where i am entering the structure name in the inputfield and dynamically generating the structure on the screen with all the fields of it.
But i need to show a dropdown for a particular field which contains values in its domain (f4) .
what is happening now , suppose i have given structure as SBOOK and i get all the components of the structure now for CUSTTYPE i am getting the f4 help but instead i need a dropdown .....
how can i achieve that ????

Hi,
Are you using TABLE or ALV elements.
Get the column reference of the TABLE for CUSTYPE.
You can create an object of tyep DRPBYKEY and insert this cell editor.
As it has domain values, You need to set the VALUESET using the IF_WD_CONTEXT_NODE_INFO for that attirbute.

Table is ADRC, you will need to get the address number for the customer or vendor as the key to the table. KNA1 or LFA1 field ADRNR.

Changes required for Migration from CR 8.5 to CR 11

Dear All,
We have successfully migrated all the reports which were created in CR 8.5 to CR 11. But those same reports developed in CR 8.5 are called through .exe which has been built with Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003. The old reports of CR 8.5 is working fine. while we are unable to open CR 11 reports through .exe. It says DLL missing. I guess some higher version of p2sodbc.dll and some more required.
Can you please help me out.

TreeByNesting image changes required for Expand,Collapse and Leaf Icons

I have embedded Tree Element inside Table. I need to change the Expand,Collapse and Leaf Arrows inside Table. I dont find those things inside Theme Editor.
Could you please suggest how can I change those Icons.

Thanks for your replay, I had tried with TreeExpansionListener before posting it, but not with TreeWillExpandListener.
I have a mouseListener to handle a leaf on single click.
My problem is now my foldernode has arrowIcon, folder icon, text, all three respond for click action(expand/collapse), since my renderer has all the three in one panel and rendering it
but i want arrowIcon has to behave separate on single click and folder icon and text has to behave different at the same time.
I have plan to separate it(arrowIcon in one panel/ another two in another panel) in a renderer, is it will help me?
