  • Update Operations in a process order

    Hi,
My task is to update operational level information in a process order via standard function module, can any one help me by providing a function module or a method to update the operations in a process order.
    Thanks in advance.
    Kind Regards,
    Abhi.

    Hi Gabriel,
No, this function is not released to the customer.
You can check this by going to the Attributes screen of the function module.  The last field in the General data section shows the release date of a function if it has been released (you can see an example of a released function module by checking any of the BAPI_ function modules).
    Cheers,

  • System status LKD REL for operation & phases in Process order

    Hi Gurus,
We have a process order in which system status for operations & phases is LKD REL due to which user is not able to confirm the process order. The status of process order is REL PRC APNG APRS BASC BCRQ GMPS MACM RESA SETC. One of the user from planning has set the status to LKD due to some artwork changes. Now another user set the status to unlock. Locked status from order status was reset but at operation & phases level the status is still LKD REL & hence order confirmation is not allowed.
I try to again set the status to lock but i am getting message system status LKD is active (ACT 40547870 0010) which is similar to one which we get during order confirmation.Pls. suggest.
    Regards
    Amit

    Hello Amit
If the status LKD is not set for the order header, this is possibly an inconsistency.
Please open an OSS incident to SAP for further analysis.

  • Create default operation & phase in process order

    Dear PP Guru,
We used PP-PI and have a production type for simple production that there is no recipee for them.
We used auto generate order for this kind of production.
But in order, only operation is created and no phase is generated.
Hence this process order can not be confirm?
Is there any solution for this??
    Best regards,
    Freddy Ha

    Dear,
In transaction "OPJG" you need to maintain default values for creating operation in case the system is unable to find a suitable master recipe. You need to maintain this for Plant/Order type combination.
Then define the confirmation parameter for this order type and plant for operation level confirmation.
    Please refer this link,
Re: Creation of Process Order without assigning master recipe

  • In process quality inspection in operation of a process order

    Hi,
PP-PI inprocess quality inspection at operation level
I am creating a process order having two operation. the first is quality inspection (inprocess inspection) & last is related to consumption of some materials.
The control key in operations are pi02,pi03(miles stone confirmation). i am using insp type 03 in material master
user needs  insp. happen first then consumption of material.
    my question is
1.when operation first get triggered  quality lot generated i enter RR & do UD.but here i can not see the insp lot stock as subscreen. why? then how can i block defect qty in block stock?
2.how can i consume material in the same quality operation?
    With Regards,
    Kareena

    Hi Kareena,
I think the thread is going in other direction. You were asking for some solution to mentioned the consumption.............
    That can be taken care..........
For 03 - "In process inspection" lot as yield confirmation by activating the STD function of SAP as I have mentioned in my last post.
For 04 - "Inspection against GR form Production" lot, by stock posting.
For any lot you can do customization in "EXIT_SAPLQEEM_011", to post the material consumption at each MIC/Operation valuation.
But now the entire scenario what you are asking is bit confusing.
    You wrote
    I think for process order,
quality activity confirmation we are talking
& for this i have not maintained inspection
    point or inspection point identification.
i am doing RR from qe11.
It seems you we are talking about 03 type inspection lot. that you can relate with the option I have mentioned in the beginning of this reply.
in my inspection plan for the material
i have maintained 5 different characterstics
in that row i can not see the sampling
    procedure,base unit of measure,
base quantity all these field are gray in color
i have defined sampling procedure also
i have not maintained inspection point identification.
Where you have mentioned these 5MICs?
If it is inspection plan, then it will go with 04 Type.
If it is Master Recipe/Routing, then it will go with 03 Type.
Now the other point you wrote the MIC Line item have the fields GREY for Sampling Procedure,&...........&.......So to activate them,
Select the line item for MIC, click on the Control Indicator (Sampling Procedure) and then you will be able to assign the Sampling Procedure to MIC.
The fields "Inspect" & "Inspected" are related with the "Insp. Scope" with the MIC. The scope is define at the Control indicators for the MICs (On Page2 for the Indicators). There are four Radio Buttons to define the Inspection Scope.
    Scope not Fixed
If you set this indicator, the number of inspected units is defined by the user for results recording.
This number does not have to agree with the precalculated number of inspected units.
E.g. If the the sample size for that particular MIC is not fixed ever and you will supposed to enter it at the time of RR you should define this indicator and the field will open for entry in QE11.
    Fixed Scope
If you set this indicator, the number of inspected units must correspond
to the precalculated number of units to be inspected for results
    recording.
The system can perform a valuation for the inspection characteristic based on the number of nonconforming units or the number of defects in the sample.
And the field will be GREY, non - modifiable.
Similarly the larger and smaller scopes work.

    Shyamal

  • Transaction CA02 - change Routing operation Overview

    Hi !
I need to insert values to column "Unit Quantity" (plpo-vgm04)where the table line is 'SMD' or 'TH_***'. I  need
to make a massive change for  many record.
Is in sap a bapi for doing this task ?
    thanks
    moshe

I am unable to find out the CAPP knowledge button in CA02 but find rest of three fields which you need to know see as given below
    KAP_ARBPL
    FLG_CAPO
Above two field is coming in header details of particular routing (CA01, 02, 03)there is 6 views of header data
    Task list.
    Production line.
    General data.
Parameters for dynamic modification /inspection points.
    Further QM data.
    Administrative data .
    Work center for capacity planning
A work center which should be considered a "critical work center" (bottleneck work center) according to capacity leveling using a planned order.
As per above view you will get KAP_ARBPL- Work center for capacity planning in General data view as a Planning work center.
FLG_CAPO-Recalculate standard values at order creation you will get this field in general data view just below of planning work center as a CAPP order and its indicating that, at the time of order creation, standard values are recalculated using CAPP depending on their order category.
P3007-RUZUS you will find this field in CR01, 02, 03 there is also 6 views for particular work center as below.
    Basic data
    Default values
    Capadities.
    Scheduling
    Costing
Technical data and you will get P3007-RUZUS in this view as Rnd. & add.val. This specifies the rounding categories and the additional values to be taken into account when standard values are calculated for an operation.
You can use this key you can assign a rounding category and an additional value percentage to each of the standard values in a work center.

  • BAPI_PROCORD_CHANGE for process order operation level change

    Hi,
Can any buddy tell me how to change operation dates in process order with following requirement:
Process order scheduling type is 'Forward',
1st step, read operation start dates 'Earliest Dates' and 'Latest Dates',
2nd step, change operation 'Earliest Dates' and 'Latest Dates' directly, this step can't be done in foreground,
Can use BAPI_PROCORD_CHANGE to update operation dates directly?
    Best Regards
    Amy

    Hi Amy
BAPI_PROCORD_CHANGE cannot be used to change operations.
According to note 1694267 you can use the remote-enabled function module CO_SE_PRODORD_CHANGE that is released by the customer to change the order header, sequences, operations and production resource/tool. See the detailed documentation for the function module.

  • Change the resource from process order

    Hi All,
I have 60 to 70 process order i want to change the resource of operation 0010 for all the process orders. Is there any transaction i can do the  change of resorce from all process order?

Edited by: satish kapartiwar on Jun 20, 2008 11:39 AM

    Hy Satish,
As Mr. Prashobh has said there is only two ways two do the same.
One is change by BDC or LSMW and
    Second is by capacity leveling.
One more option is don't change the Resorce in Process orders , but during the Phase Confirmation by Current Confirm Resource.

  • Editing of scheduled dates in Process Order Operations

    Hello,
I have a requirement, in which the client would like to change the Scheduled dates in the operation details of a process order.
In the header screen of a process order, if we change the basic start / finish dates (depending on forward or backward scheduling), and reschedule the process order, the process order is rescheduled, with the new dates.
The client's requirement is, they should be able to change the Scheduled dates in the tab "Operation - Dates", of the "Operation overview" screen, in a process order. Normally the field is not editable, and the system calculates the dates, based on the start / finish dates, entered in the process order header.
I would like to know, what is the way out, to meet this requirement.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
As every body else is explaining it is not possible for standard SAP ,  as of normal business or any business scenario why would a client want to change the operation dates from Production order ( still not understood.....)
There are two options to do that:
    1) Copy the whole transaction ( programmes ) into some Z - transaction and in the programme you can change the object ( CO_VG_OPR_*) from being grayed out.
This will alllow you to change the dates.
    2) you can go for enhancement with the following FM
        BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN
I suggest you to clear these things with client. These things require more of ABAP work.
And as said changing the standard behaviour of the system can cause performance issues.
Please close the thread if satisfied.

  • Adding another resource on process order level

In certain cases our client has to stop it's production if a machine breaks down.
The solution of this problem is to post confirmation of all operation teco the process order, create one time recipe one time bom and a production version to create order manually.
I have seen that it is possible to change a process order with cor2 even during confirmations you can add another operation and phase with the machine on which you are continuing your production physically. the system allows to change it as well wht i feel is that it also shows the variance as resource usage variance which could be ideal for costing as well. i just want to confirm that either it is possible n if yes than wht could be the areas where i should keep an eye or should check them as well what could be the consequences and either this concept is right or wrong...........it's

Can any one give suggestions in this regard or if any one have such scenario post a msg to me n i will reply ok......... i will give points on suggestions as well.....

  • Change material code in process order or delete process order

    Hi experts,
While creating a process order in COR1 transaction code, wrong material code was entered.
Can we change the material code in process order.  If not, what is the complete procedure to cancel or delete the process order.
    Request you to revert.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Regards,
    Farha.

    Dear ,
One the Process Order has been created with any material either it is wrong code or correct code , it can not be deleted .If it wrong code , then do not  perfom goods Issue -MIGO-261 or through Backflash  and also operation confirmation etc .
If Goods Issue , Confirmation happend then you need to reverse those txn once again .
In that case the best oiption will be goto COR2-Enter the Process Order -Select Process Order from Header -Restrict Processing -Choose Technically Complete .
Now , once you did TECO , then there will not be any farther txanationl posting like Goods Issue , confirmation will not be possible .Likewise , you can also Lock or make set CLOSE  from COR2 in case there is no WIP , Variance .
    Hope this is clear
    Regards

  • Standard costing in Process order for external operation

    Hi SAP - PP gurus,
Need your expert suggestion on the current scenario. We are having a sequence of operations in a process order. One specific operation is used to trigger subcontracting activity for completion of some services.
while calculating the total planned & actual costs & variance costs for the process order as a whole , we are not getting the desired results.
The  planned cost is not getting calculated or variance is not populated correctly. what might be the problem or is there any alternate solution to approaching this scenario.

I do not have an 'expert' response for you - but I can share my experience and maybe both of us will learn the 'truth' before too long.
In the external processing - indicator in the control key for a phase/operation in a recipe - when it is set, the system requires that either a Purchasing Information Record or an Outline Agreement # and Outline Agreement line item # be entered. If I enter a PIR, the data from the PIR is loaded into the external op fully. This results in a proper cost roll-up and proper processing.
If I use an Outline Agreement + Item # - the system expects me to copy all this detailed information into the remaining General Data fields (that were populated automatically when I used the PIR). I don't have to enter anything except the OA + Item numbers. But if I do not enter a price - then I, like you, get less than acceptable pricing because this operation is NOT priced (I do get a warning - this leads me to believe that SAP will not be populating these fields - the warning is to remind ME to do it --- I want the system to do it since I am specifying the OA + item numbers).
I have searched help and now have posted an OSS note for the answer to this: The PIR does what I want (it has to be created prior to application of course), but because External processing is merely a service and can't be specified by Material # and it only works per Material Group # - then I only have the chance to enter one price per Material Group - and that is insufficient in my situation (I have about 50 materials per each group and each item can have a different price). So I have to use OAs - and not having them able to trigger auto copying into the external op phase - this causes a lot of extra work and risk of data inaccuracy (mis-keying the price, etc.). There does not seem to be a fix - so I think the manual application in the ext op will be your recourse.
Let me know if you have learned more.
