Change retry count for temporary errors ?

Hi,
by default the counter for temporaryt errors is fixed to the value 3 in the FM SWP_GET_DEFAULT_VALUES.
If i want to change this value, do i change the FM standard ?

Apparently I am asleep today. SWWD is not the same as SWDD. But you can overrule this value set in the job per task. There is a tab in the task (called others). Here you can set a maximum number of repeats for temp errors for the task. When this is higher than the value in the job this value is taken ([according to SAPHelp|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/96/57f804ef0f11d195280000e82dec10/frameset.htm]).

Validation error on retry count for session bean

In our weblogic-ejb-jar.xml we have configured a retry count for a specific method on a local session bean. When I click on 'Browse' to select a specific method, it only shows '*' as a possible value. When we type the method name by hand, it shows a red cross next to the input field with the error 'Cannot find method "exampleMethod()" in the ExampleBean's Local interfaces'.
We use EJB 3.0 and OEPE 12.1.1.0.1 with Eclipse 3.7.2

Message retry count for the message has been exhausted

Hi,
I am using 'Custom Document Over Internet' with HTTPS as transport protocol. I have set the acknowledgement mode to Sync in order to receive the synchronous response. B2B is able to post the HTTP request successfully and in turn it receives a synchronous response and a MDN message. At the initial stage, after posting the request it shows the state as 'WaitForAck' for request message and for response and MDN messages, the state is completed.
After some time when we check the state of request it is changed to 'Error' with the error message as 'Message retry count for the message has been exhausted'. We have not set the retry count and retry interval and so after retrying for 3 times with an interval of 120 minutes it is showing error state as it is not able to correlate the incoming response to the corresspoding request. We have tried the option of setting the Message id of the request in 'replyToMsgID' parameter of response header and tested the flow. But still I am facing te same issue. Please help me to resolve this issue.

Configuring retry count for failed recon events

Has anyone managed to configure retry count for failed reconciliation events in OIM? By default OIM re-tries five (5) times before giving up the event. In most cases this is highly optimistic.
In OC4J I tried changing oc4j.jms.listenerAttempts property for JMS server, it didn't have any effect?

How can I change the message for an error and then cancel it

Hi everyone.
I am currently developing an application where I have to use a trigger (DAQmx). Now it can happen, that the user (who will operate the device later on) can activate the trigger without a valid source. After a timeout, he will get a quite strange message stating he either might want to wait longer (Error -200284 occurred at DAQmx Read). I would like to redefine this error.
So if this error number appears, he should get a message saying: "Your request couldn't be executed, since no valid trigger signal was found".
How would I do this .. Thanks for help

There are different ways. As you describe it, you'd like to cancel the occuring error (-200284) and show another message. I attach a vi with a view ways.

Change bgrd color for code errors?

Where is the background color controlled for improperly
nested or unclosed tags in DW code view? I am working on some CF
code
that is triggering the bright yellow bgrd, would like to turn
it down a few shades but don't see that selection in the prefs
with the other code coloring.

Message Retry Count Zero error

Hi,
I am sending a Message from one Trading partner to another over ebMS protocol .
The trading partners are using Weblogic JMS queues as the internal delivery channels.
when one trading partner is sending message to another, the mesage comes to the receving trading partner with error as "Max retry count for Message is zero".
I have reffered to one of the thread (Re: FTP retry issue) which says "Can you please update the Retry count and time to acknowledge in the<br />Delivery channel page and update the polling interval in the transport<br />server page as empty? I think the Polling interval value overrides the<br />retry count."
I have followed this and I am getting a Transport Error.
Please Help!

WM RF Inventory : how to change the counting.

Hello every body,
We are using transaction LM50 and LM51 for the WM inventory counting with radio frequency terminals.
My question is how is it possible the change the counting for one material in one bin ?
The situation is that we have big bins with several material in it. When I count for 1 material in 1 bin, sometime I can find the same material in an other part of the same bin. Then I need the change the counting, but I don't know how to do it.
One other solution would have been to add a new item (using F7), to add the product again, but it's not possible because the same material is already in that bin...
If someone has an idea, it would really help me.

HELP ! Making a retry counter

I'm making a retry counter for the logins and I'm using the j_security_check from Tomcat.
I made a little class that must check if there is a session object.
if not create one and put the value 1 in it, for the first try.
If there is a session object, increase the value and put it in the session object.
Now is my problem that I get a nullpointer exception and I don't know how to fix it.

I am trying to create User Defined Tables in SAP through Coding but while running the code the error "Ref count for this object is higher then 0 " is showing .
I have created a temporary table in which the Table Description are stored as follows :-

First of all, you are not meant to create temporary table in SAP database. SAP have never made an official announcement, but I think they would not be too happy if they saw it and may withdraw support. Just something to be aware of.
Secondly, your error is very common and you would have found the solution by searching the forum. It is caused by having an open recordset while trying to use a metadata object.
You will have to change how your code works. You can not use the UserFieldsMD or UserTablesMD object while you have an undisposed recordset object.

Meaning of Error Msg: "Ref count for this object is higher than 0"
The solution is you must dispose of any recordset object before attempting to use the UserTablesMD object:

Am new to OBIEE.Pls help in this regard.
Am building the physical layer as per Repository guide.When am importing the data in to this,am getting the below error.

channles is the table name and having 5 rows.
but am able to see the data in the sql prompt. like SELECT * FROM SH.CHANNELS then 5 rows data would be displaying..
pls help in this regard and where is the excat problem?

what is the error?
Make sure that your connection pool settings are okay..
Make sure that, you are using correct driver in case of if you are using ODBC dsn..
Also make sure that, your oracle server is running... TNS and Oracle server services

Error while changing Account Group for Prospective Customer

Dear All,
I am getting an error when the account group of a prospective customer needs to be changed to Sold to Party
The planned change is not allowed as the following groups would be masked by the new account group,
S Group Group Name M Group Name
V D315 Shipping 030 Rail Specifications.
Please let me know what is the reason for this error and as per my knowledge even if the no range is different for both these partner functions the system should allow me to change the account group however the earlier no given to prospective customer will still exist even if the prospective customer number is changed to sold to party please let me know otherwise.

Select the order by pressing F9. Now place the cursor where you want to put the order group. i.e on same level or Lower level.

Hi Gorge,
The "Ref count error..." usually occurs in case of Meta Data objects not being properly cleared. And yes, you have got the error in the right place, generally while creating tables / fields / UDOs. For this, you just need to clear the Meta Data object (At times even DI objects like Record Set) once they are used.
Eg: Release these objects in the below way in a Finally Block.
System.Runtime.InteropServices.Marshal.ReleaseComObject(oRecordSet);
