How to change Row height in standart report template, if I use jquery.htmldbHscroll-0.0.1.min (which I found on this forum). Simply rows height are bit another than in colums without scrolling.

Why can't i change row and column height in tables?

a mind-boggling problem to be sure. For some odd reason, I can't use the inspector to type in row/column heights for tables. I can use the up/down arrows, but those only work in increments of 1. I can manually adjust them one by one but as soon as I edit text in a different table cell, I have to start all over again. Does anyone else have this problem?

I had already tried both of your suggestions without any luck but I appreciate the help anyway. I should've been a bit more specific: I can actually type in the column/row height windows, but when I press return or tab, Pages ignores the numbers. I've tried using both the number pad and the regular keyboard numbers and every manner of clicking, enter, tab, control, alt......there must be some setting with my computer that is causing an incompatibility with Pages. Boh!

Property Name : Row's height Excel

Hello Every body,
I'm using OLE objects to get data from SAP to an Excel file. I have a question concerning the height of the row.
The diplayed celle should be like :
               Line1
               Line2
               Line3
               Line4
But when I display the cell only the first sentence is displayed and the other sentences are invisible. I should change the row's height manually to display the whole text.
Can you please provide to me the property name that will help me to change the row's height?

Don't use an editor is the only real answer.
Use a regular renderer with states, it's the only way I've found to get some good control over what's going on while "editing".
Be warned it's not nearly as quick as using regular editors.

SetRowHeight(int row,int height) fails

Hi!
I have a problem when I want to resize a row to a new height using the method
setRowHeight(int row,int height)this don't do nothing!
I'm using the example of a special JTable to merge cells wich is avaiable in http://codeguru.earthweb.com/java/articles/139.shtml
I try to look in the code of this example, but I can't find the problem.
I'm not using the merge method in the row I want to resize, so it should be working.
If someone could help me I appreciate.

From what I can tell from looking at the source code for MultiSpanCellTableUI, the paint method draws the cell rects using the general row height (ie table.getRowHeight() ) instead of the row specific height (table.getRowHeight(int row)). This could be a design flaw. You could attempt making the change in source code and see what results you get.

For it, first place the cursor on the row and choose Formatting > Row. In the next dialog box, select a color (for totals, subtotals, inserted rows, or for emphasis). The system assigns a color based on the selection you make here.

Use decode to achieve this. You will get plenty of examples in this forum. Try search with Pivot keywords. You will get plenty of example.

Yes, it is possible to change row colors on array fields.
I have attached a PEX (tools.pex) which has an object which changes FillColor
and PenColor for Arrays. The PEX has it's own test window, so you can try
various combinations. (There are a few other Objects in the Project which are
not relevant
I'm not sure that you can change colors on individual choices in a scroll list.
I haven't tried playing around with it.
The test window actually changes the color of scroll lists as well.
The object keeps track of which rows have changed color, same with pen color, so
that when you scroll it keeps track of which rows are a different colors.
The pex is self-contained, just import the file and do a test run.
Please let me know if you have any problems.

I need to create a list field that will allow me to dynamically change the
fillColor and/or penColor attributes of individual rows. (I just want to
highlight the rows, and those seem to be the obvious attributes...) It appears
you can't do that on scroll lists (the elements are list elements, and don't
have those attributes) and I can't figure out how to do it on an array field
either. Any ideas for how to accomplish this?

Version 2 of iCal has the "Group Calendar" feature. It was released as part of Mac OS X v10.4, and if you really want/need that feature you will have to upgrade to Tiger.

Export to Excel: Row Auto Height Removed on Data Connection Refresh

Hi all,
When I perform a Data Connection Refresh on an Excel workbook exported from SharePoint it removes the row auto height I had in place, hiding valuable information. This is an additional column I added to perform some calculations.

Hi Kelly,
As I understand, you have a SharePoint list and click export to Excel under List tab. Then the list is exported to Excel spreadsheet.
Generally speaking, all field column width and height keep in the same size when the list is exported to Excel. In Excel, under PAGE LAYOUT tab > Scale to Fit, make Width and Height to be Automatic and Scale to 100%.
Then the cell should be good. If there is some column still exceed the width of Excel cell, please right click the cell > Format cells > Alignment > Text control, click Wrap text to increase the cell size to fit the text, or click Shrink to fit
to shrink the text.

Change individual track height?

Does anyone know if it's possible to change individual track heights, or am I stuck with global settings?
I can do it with FCP, it'd be nice if Soundtrack does it as well.

hmmm... this does not adjust the height of individual tracks - just all tracks in the project.
you can use 'cmd-6', 'cmd-7', 'cmd-8' and 'cmd-9' to shortcut the 4 different preset track height settings.

How to get only the changed rows in h:dataTable

For our application, I need to process only the changed rows in the jsf datatable in managed bean.
User may also enter new rows.We have to consider this also.

As klejs said, set the valueChangeListener attribute to each of the input fields. Have a method in your backing bean which would
1) get the index from the component id
2) get the object and the above index from ArrayList
3) check if the old Value is different from the new value. If yes, set some boolean flag in that object to true indicating that the row is modified.
Sample code below. Please feel free to add checks if you need.

I am trying to change rows into columns, and I have come up with a package that should do this. However, it doesn't work properly, so am wondering if someone can help me out finding out what is wrong.
I am using the emp table owned by Scott in an Oracle database, and I want my output to look like this:

I want the deptno to be the header of the column, except from the first column where I want the salary, and then I want all the employees with the specific salary in the specific department number in the row of the right salary and deptno. I saw on the preview screen that you guys will not see the result like I actually have pasted it in here, but I think you will understand what I want. Out of my result I want to read all the employees in deptno 10,20,30,..... and what the salary is.

Changing row color through a drop down box????

Is there a way I can get a table row to change color based on the value of a drop down box? I have 3 color options in the drop down list: yellow, green, red. I'm trying to get it so when I select a color in the list (like for example green) the whole row of that table fills with green. I'm searching for an answer and I can't find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks :)
