Can anybody say me in which directory the file is?

You can edit exchange profile thru this URL as well

Its advisable and recommended to use the menu path as Bhavesh said.

Importing the exchange profile in PI 7.1

Hi,
system is PI 7.1
1. System copy is done and then in post intallation process.
2. On PI System AII_PROFILES table is empty and i tried to import the the exchange profile from the link
 http://<host:port>/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/com.sap.xi.exprofui/XIProfileApp
 it showing the profile is imported successfully but it is not getting updated in database as well as the tree for exchange profile is not showing in the parameter tree.
3. after system copy there was no aii.properties file in server0 directory. i created the file manually but it is not picking the value from the aii.properties file

Have you followed the same procedure to import as below?
 1. On your Integration Server host, open the following URL:
http://<AS_Java_host>:AS_Java_port>/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/com.sap.xi.exprofui/XIProfileApp
The following naming convention applies for <AS_Java_Port>:
5<AS_Java_instance_number>00
50000, for example, if your AS Java instance is 00
 2. Enter the logon information:
User Name: PISUPER
Password: <pisuper_password>
The Exchange Profile page appears.
 3. Choose Connection.
The ABAP Connection page appears.
 4. Enter the required information for the PI host.
Use the logon information of user PILDUSER.
 5. Choose Set.
The Exchange Profile page appears.
 6. Choose Import.
The Import profile from database page appears.
 7. Choose Browse and select the following file:
/usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/global/xi/exchange_profile.xml
If you cannot run a Web browser on your PI host, you need to copy the file exchange_profile.xml from the PI host to a host where a Web browser runs.
 8. Choose Import Data.
The profile is imported.

Restore Exchange Profile manually

My exchange profile is pointing to a system that I cannot let my copied system connect to. Therefore, I can't change the exchange Profile.
I can't use the http://<hostname>:port/ExchangeProfile
because I get a gateway error because it is pointing to the original system which I can't start because I don't want it messed up.
Where can I copy the exchange profile so it uses that on startup? I do have a copy for the new system that is correct.
Help is greatly appreciated!!!

Options for when an iOS device gets locked because of forgotten passcode:
Restore (and reset passcode) on your device by connecting it to the last computer to which it was connected:

Hello everybody,
does anyone know a tool to access PMU-Settings?
As the manual says, my PowerBook does only recharge my battery when it is below 95%. I would like to change that, so charging will commence only below 20% or so.
With 95% I always have to remove my battery when on AC to prevent it being reloaded 4 or 5 times a day from e.g. 80% up.
I would just like to save charging cycles and by that extend battery life.

I'm not aware of any way to alter the re-charge settings of your PowerBook's Power Management Unit (or any other of its settings).
However, in light of your stated concern about "saving charging cycles," I don't think you have anything to be worried about.
Here's an excerpt from Apple's Lithium Ion Battery support page concerning the definition of a battery's "charging cycle:"
Charge Cycle. Using and recharging 100% of battery capacity equals one full charge cycle.
A charge cycle means using all of the battery’s power, but that doesn’t necessarily mean a single charge. For instance, you could listen to your iPod for a few hours one day, using half its power, and then recharge it fully. If you did the same thing the next day, it would count as one charge cycle, not two, so you may take several days to complete a cycle. Each time you complete a charge cycle, it diminishes battery capacity slightly, but you can put both notebook and iPod batteries through many charge cycles before they will only hold 80% of original battery capacity. As with other rechargeable batteries, you may eventually need to replace your battery.
My read of the above is that a charge cycle doesn't occur every time you recharge your battery, but rather every time you use all of your battery's power. So, it's of no moment whether your battery recharges once a day or five times a day, the critical issue is how much of the battery's power has been used on a cumulative basis.

Does "reset all settings" remove the provisioning profiles on my iphone?

Basically have a few installed provisioning profiles and wonder if resetting all settings will remove it.

Take it to an Apple store to be evaluated; without a working power button, there is no further troubleshooting you can do.

Error while changing settings of the VM through RSAT

OK, Scenario:
Workstation A: Windows 7 Professional with SP1, 64 bit with RSAT installed.
Hyper-V Server A: Windows Server 2012 Datacenter
File Server A: Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise with SP1
All 3 joined to the same domain, the user is a Domain Admin.
Problem:
I want to mount and iso file on File server share into the DVD drive of a VM through RSAT. when I click apply, I get the "User Account does not have sufficient privilege to open attachment '\\path to server share\filename.iso'. Error: 'General access
denied error'." followed by the 0x80070005 error code as the attached picture shows.
when I RDP into the Hyper-V Server and try the same thing, it goes through with no problem.
NTFS permission and share permission on the iso file has everyone:full control.
any suggestion why it is like this?

As you mentioned only the win2000 domain level you have .
Please try to configure compurter (hyper-v Server A) properties and check "Trust computer for delegation" on the General tab page in "Active Directory users and computers " .

DNS is wrong on vista pc so Internet does not work but works with iMac iPad PS3 using time capsule 1355...can not change settings on the pc vista..

I Hooked up time capsule ..set all the passwords. Works with iMac and iPad and PS3 . But vista say it needs to reset adapters. But does not work..show dlink router setting even though dlink is not connected. And has a different code...help

Is Vista computer running wireless or ethernet?
Is it plugged directly into the TC? If it is possible and you are running wireless please do plug it by ethernet directly into the TC to test.
Wireless is known problematic on Vista.. has always been so.
Is IP statically set on the vista computer??

Problem in importing SAP Exchange profile (BASIS settings) - Urgent

I am currently facing problem in importing SAP Exchange profiles manually.
When i enter into http://<J2EE_host>:<J2EE_port>/exchangeProfile with username as PISUPER, the page is getting loaded but
1.it shows a error message stating, Name or password is incorrect
2. When i ignore that error and proceed with the connections tab to edit the server settings, i cannot set the password for PILDUSER. It again says, Name or Password is incorrect..
What could be the reason for these errors. Please help me... This is very urgent....

Thanks for your response guys. I checked for PISUPER and PILDSUPER in SU01 and checked for lock but it shows an error message saying User doesnot exist.

Exchange profile pointing to old hostname after the system copy

I did system copy of SAP XI3.0 SP19 from host HOST1 (Windows 2003 , MS SQL 2005 SP3)to HOST2 (Windows 2008 R2, MS SQL 2005 SP3)with the same SID . I am using same SID as i will have to upgrade XI3.0 to PI7.1 EHP1 on the new host(trying to use parallel environment).
The copy is fine and Java is up, however , there is some problem with the exchange profile of the new host.It has IR, ID, RWB,SLD hosts pointing to HOST1.When i try to change the host to HOST2 and save it gives me this message

Connection tab in the exchange profile points to HOST2.I ensured SLDAPICUST,SXMB_ADM->Integration Engine points to HOST2 ,also maintained the Pipe LIne URL to point to HOST2.I have followed the follow -up activities of system copy guides .But the issue is not resolved , exchange profile does not allow me to change the hostnames of IR, ID ,RWB.
Could you please help me with this issue?
Is the issue because of using same SID on different hosts?

Sharing SLD and Exchange Profile Settings

We have a Development system (DXI and and the SLD is hosted on DXI.
Now we are trying to install a fresh Development system (UXI) which will use/share the same SLD hosted on DXI. We did a system copy of DXI and then changing the exchange profile settings of UXI (Host etc) to point to correct system also changes the Exchange profile parameters of DXI system.
Somehow both the exchange profile settings of two systems are linked and changing one changes the another one with the same settings, thus starting repository, Configuration of DXI actually leads to another UXI system and Vice versa on changing exchange profile settings.
Any inputs how to keep exchange profile settings segeregated will be helpful as both the system have their own box/host and only SLD is shared which is on DXI.

Since upgrading Iphone to iOS 5.1.1 it does not automatically use wifi internet when wifi is available. It has been draining my mobile data. I can only manually change settings with cellular data everytime I get home. Any other solutions?

Since upgrading Iphone to iOS 5.1.1 it does not automatically divert to my wi-fi internet when wifi is available in my home. It has been draining my mobile data I now have very high bills from my mobile carrier for high data usage. I can only manually change settings in the Network and turn cellular data on and off everytime I get home and leave the home. This is very frustrating as it wasn't a problem until the upgrade. I have spoken to a few people that this has happened to. Has anyone found this problem and does anyone have other solutions?

Basically to fetch the details of interfaces into SPROXY..connection to XI is required from the R/3's exchange profile

1. We are having WebAS 7.0 . XI7.0 SP10 . R3 system is ECC6.0
 a. we have ONLY ABAP Instance no java instance running in this . So, how can we access the exchange profile for R3system ?

Hi Ranga,
ECC will use exchange profile in XI, so you don't need additonal java instance for ECC, so when you call the SPROXY, actually it call to XI.
Please make sure the connection from ECC to XI its work.
and your ECC can ping to the XI computer (using domain name)

When I create a quality notification from the action box in transaction QM02, the catalog profile is fetched from the material master. I want this changed so that the catalog profile is
always copied from the QN being preocessed in QM02. (current QN)
I am not able to locate the code where the catalog profile for the new QN(QN being created) is fetched from the material master.
If I change the catalog profile in the material master, it works, but that is not a solution for me.
Need the exact point where I can pass in a different catalog code.
Also, I do not see the new QN number anywhere while debugging.
PS: The QN is being created from the action box in transaction QM02 and not from transaction QM01.
