  • Reg: If changes done in SAP BO Analysis office, then Changes can be done in SAP BW in respective targets. But, is it possible to do the same changes in SAP ECC? How?

    Hello Everyone,
If any changes are done in SAP BO Analysis office, then the change can be done in the SAP BW in the respective Targets.
But how can we do the changes in the SAP ECC ? Is it possible to do the changes in the tables ?
    Any answer is appreciable
    Regards,
    Karteek

We are using the "Input ready Bex query", in order to modify the values in "BO Analysis office".
    ECC               BI               BO Analysis office
    1  ------------->   1   ---------->         1   ------
                                                                            |
                                                                            | (Now Data is changed in Analysis office from 1 to 2)
                                                                            |
    (?) <--------------   2 <----------         2 <-----
(Will it be updated in ECC)
    (Diagram Explanation)
From ECC we can load the data (Consider Value-1) to SAP BI and from SAP BI we can load the data to BO analysis office.
So, now if we change the data in BO Analysis office (Value-1 changed to Value-2)..
Now the data is changed in SAP BI to Value-2.
So what about the data in ECC ? Whether it is changed or not?
Please provide us a real time business Scenario..
    Thanks,
    Karteek

  • How do I change my default "SAP Working Directory" to the one I wish ?

    Hello Gurus,
How do I change my default "SAP Working Directory" to the one I wish ?
At the moment default SAP Working Directory to set to the following directory.
    "C:\Documents and Settings\T51273\SapWorkDir"
So, when ever I try to download a Report/Table Contents/Spool Request, SAP prompts me to save in the above SAP Working Directory, which is "C:\Documents and Settings\T51273\SapWorkDir". Ofcourse I can change the folder in the dialogue box, but I don't want to change the folder each and every time I download a report from SAP.
I wish to change my default "SAP Working Directory" to "My Documents" Folder. So that from next time,
if ever I try to download a Report/Table Contents/Spool Request, SAP should prompt "My Documents" Folder. That way I don't have to change the folder at the time of saving.
Full Points are assigned for an answer that works...
    Thank You,
    Nag.

    Hello,
A short question about transaction SO21:
Is this a local setting, per GUI?
Or does this affect all users?
I have a problem opening an attachment (Mandates).
SAP wants to save it to C:\Windows\System32\
I see that is stated at SO21.
If I change that to another (accessable) location, does that affect the opening of the attachment?
    Thanks!

  • Need help On Triggers/Change pointers in SAP

    Hi Experts,
I Need help On Triggers/Change pointers in SAP.
I have a requirement  as soon as an entry is created in one of the  Standard SAP  table it should check against my Ztable and update and create the corresponding entry in another Ztable.
Can some one help me out on this with the syntax and how to do it

    Hi,
Check whether you have any enhancement option (BADI, user exit, Customer enhancement etc) in the program which is used to save the data in the SAP standard table. If so, then try to write your code in that appropriate enhancement.

  • Info. / Doc. on Changes to Standard SAP Program, Tables, Fields in SAP 6.0

We are in the process of upgrading our SAP from 4.6c to 6.0 and I am looking for a document or white paper that summarizes changes to Standard SAP Programs, Tables/Fields, Function Modules etc.. from what used to be in SAP 4.6c to what it is in SAP 6.0.  I am not sure if such a comprehensive document exists or is posted in the forum.
Any help or information in this regard will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks
    ram

    Hi Ram,
<<   We are in the process of doing our technical upgrade from SAP 4.6c to 6.0. I am looking for a white paper or documentation listing the changes made to the standard SAP Programs, Tables, Fields, Function Modules etc. from Rel. 4.6c to 6.0. >>
Do you want to know what custom changes were done to SAP standard objects in your system or do you want to know what changes SAP did from 4.6c to ECC6.0.
There is no white paper or documentation to find out custom changes made to SAP standard objects. but there were many tools in the market to find out and tell what changes were done to sap standard objects in your system.
Your question seems ambiguous please clear it.
    Thanks,
    Kiran.

  • Changes in standard SAP programs

    Hello all,
How could I track the changes made to standard SAP programs by a client? The system is 4.0B and some standard R/3 application's source code has been modified to provide some non-standard functionalities (that was, probably, the worst solution - in many of the cases they could have use user exits or enhancements for achieving the same purpose).
In the table TRDIR (or, if you will, D010SINF) I can find the programs that were created by a set of users such as 'SAP' or 'SAP*' or 'DDIC' and were subsequently modified by client users (developers).
Furthermore, finding the development class of those programs (function module 'RS_PROGRAM_GET_DEVCLASS') gives me a better idea about what applications were really modified by the client.
Still, many of these programs that appear to have been created by 'SAP' or 'SAP*' and modified by other (client) users were <b>generated</b> as a consequence of <i>configuration changes</i> made by those client users, and therefore are not changes made to SAP R/3 standard.
Is there a way to track only those standard programs that were indeed modified by the client, at source code level?
    Thank you,
    Bogdan

    Hi Bogdan,
you can program your own tool-abap:
    1) select table <b>E070</b> ( TRFUNCTION = 'R' )
    2) -> for all entries select V_<b>E071EU</b>
          (TRKORR = e070-TRKORR)
    3)-> list all found objects:
      -V_E071EU-PGMID
      -V_E071EU-OBJECT
      -V_E071EU-OBJ_NAME
and create an interactive list (e.g. for SE11 and SE38)
    hope this helps

  • U0093Engineering Change Managementu0094 in SAP 4.7 Enterprise.

Like to here from experts: What do you think of “Engineering Change Management” in SAP 4.7 Enterprise.
The scenario is; any “Plant Modification” dealt under "MANAGEMENT OF CHANGE" which is currently outside of SAP and there is strong business drive to move into SAP.
<i>It is the policy that all permanent, temporary, and emergency changes to the plant equipment and facilities, processing systems, operation procedures, site standards, chemicals & raw-materials, engineering/safety controls, must be evaluated, authorized, implemented and documented.
    </i>
While searching the possible solution came across ECM "Engineering Change Management" would like to know can we use ECM for this purpose?
Note: Also please furnish me with related documentation and/or demo.
    Thanks in Advance.

  • Change in Std SAP Program

    BW Experts,
At my client I have changed a Std SAP program LRRSVF20. This was transported up all the way to production. Now that we did a Support pack upgrade in dev, This configuration is lost in development. What is the best approach to get it back. Reconfigure it which will give me a new transport request and retransport all the way till production. Or is there a better way.

    Hi,
You need to redo the changes and then transport it again.
Anyways as a Best Practice, don't change Std SAP programs. You can copy them to a Z or Y pgm and then modify them. Usually if you need to change them ask SAP for a correction and then insert/delete that in the program either by applying the note or using SNOTE.
    Cheers,
    Kedar

  • Can we change skin for menus??

Can we change skin for menus, or doing some changes on firmware??

    Officially, no.
However there are lots of hacks at sites like iPod Wizard.
Hacking the iPod may very well void the warranty.

  • Change skin tones using CMYK values

    Hello,
I have learn that a great starting point for a white skin tone should be:
M and Y are the same, with a little higher percentage of yellow. C is 1/5 to 1/3 the amount of the Y and M numbers. K = 0.
    For example: C=8, M=30, Y=32, K=0
My questions is how to use this starting point in Aperture. Hope anyone can help me with this.

    Hi Frank,
What I want to to is the following.
I like to change skin tones with CMYK settings as mentioned above.
For example in Photoshop I do the following:
    - I open a layer with a curve and select one of the color channels;
    - Then I picker a skin tone with the color picker (CMYK mode on) and click to get a point in the curve.
    - Then I drag the point in the curve so that I it meets the color value.
    - Above actions I perform for each channel so I get the values as mentioned below.
M and Y are the same, with a little higher percentage of yellow. C is 1/5 to 1/3 the amount of the Y and M numbers. K = 0.
When you change the skin tone to these criteria, I have a nice skin tone starting point.
Update: When I select CMYK for viewing as you showed me in your screenshot, I do not see any changes when editing curves or levels. Also, the curves and levels are RGB and not CMYK.

    Hi Indra,
On the face of it, it seems you're trying to change the standard SAP objects (programs). Could you specify which program you're trying to change / add ?
Remember, all your new programs should begin with either a 'Z' or 'Y'.
