show client detail < mac address > every now and then until the client appear
in the RUN state machine in the debugs output
In the meantime try to disable session timeout on the SSIDs between which the client is trying to change connection.
Also check this caveate which approximately describes similar symptoms:

  • Can I change my Macbook Air's Graphics card?

Hello, I'm having a problem with my Macbook Air's graphics card. When i open After Effects CC, it says that i need an approved NVIDIA Graphics. That in other means, should I change my Macbook Air's graphics card? Even some programs requires me an NVidia Graphics or ATI graphics to render the media. This annoys me a lot as i can't render the media out the software!
So, is there any possible way i can customise my Macbook Air's Graphics by changing it or some sort?
Service it? Pay it? Ask the iBox store? Dismantle it myself? Please help!!
    Product: Macbook Air (128 GB)
    Operating System: OSX Mavericks 10.9.4
Processor: 1.4 GHz Intel Core i5
Graphics: Intel HD 5000                    -----------> Needs to be changed!!!
    Memory: 4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
    Thanks afterwards!   =D

    Hi.
Macbook Airs only handle integrated graphics card, and there is no slot on the Motherboard to add one. If you want a discrete graphics card, to use with professional software, you need to go towards an iMac, Mac Pro or 15 inch Macbook Pro Retina. If you do not want to buy a new machine, you could get an older second hand Macbook Pro with a discrete graphics card.
The Macbook air isn't built to use this kind of software.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    All the best,
    James

  • I just changed my macbook air. I copied everything to the new one but cannot find my mailboxes

I just changed my MacBook Air, and before I did that I copied all my info to the new one, actually they did it at a MacStore. I`m sure I have all my info in the new one but, cannot locate the Mailboxes in Mail. Where should I look and how can I import them as they where in my old MacBook air? Cheers

The mailbox list is divided into categories with headings in caps, such as ON MY MAC. When you hover the cursor over one of those headings (except for MAILBOXES), you should see the word Show or Hide on the right. Click Show. The  MAILBOXES category can't be hidden.
In each category, the mailboxes are arranged in groups, such as Inbox. To the left of each group is a small disclosure triangle. If the triangle points to the right, click it so that it points down.

  • WLC 5508 cannot change SSID

    Hello,
I have an issue where I cannot get clients to change SSID.  I have two SSID, one WPA2 secure, one open guest.  The secure is locally switched via Flexconnect and the guest is centrally switched.  Both of them work.  I have been able to test this and both work as intended.  The problem is that once you connect to one of them, either secure or guest, you cannot then change to the other.  The only way to change is to delete the dhcp entry from the scope and then do it.
Fast SSID change is enabled.  I also have debug client output from when the client fails when you try to switch which I will include below.  I also pulled some wireshark captures and those show me that the DHCP ack packets are trying to give the client the ip address from the incorrect/previous scope.  So basically it's like FAST SSID change is not working and the client is never being disassociated properly??
I am totally stumped and even though the client will most likely not be switched between SSID that often I would still like to know the solution.

External windows 2008 dhcp server.  The ip-helper on the L3 interface is working because it will pull dhcp just fine as long as it is the first SSID you connect with.  Once you have the an address from dhcp and try to change it keeps wanting to give me that same address even though my L3 interfaces for the two SSIDs are on two separate vlans each with a separate scope (vlan 31 and vlan 50).  Although each vlan uses the same dhcp server but that does not matter since I have two different scopes setup.  One for each subnet.

It appears to require just the 3.  That's probably more convenient for developers, though, so you don't have to go tweak the xml in the event of a minor security release.

  • How to change SSID for Linksys wireless switch for PC?

    imac-G5   Mac OS X (10.4.4)

Now, let's try to brake this issue down:
I need the Linksys to get a PC (Dell) running wireless. I installed a motorola PCI card for ethernet & the software that came with it in the PC. The switch does not read the network.
This involves a networking issue on a PC running Windows
The last time I spoke with Linksys they suggested http://192.168.1.1/same address, also 192.168.1.225. I get network connection errors.
This is an issue of your network setup
I have my Powerbook hard wired to the Motorola wireless router. My I-Mac is wireless.
So PowerBook & iMac work fine. Right?
You also have a Motorola Wireless Router, is this also your broadband modem?
I hooked up the Linksys switch to the modem with ethernet cat 5 cable. I still get connection errors. Neither computer can access these links. I get Motorola's broadband page with 192.168.1.1. I've done as much as I know but can't change the ssid if I can't access the Linksys switch. HELP Please!
    This is a bit confusing:
What do you mean by connection errors? Unable to connect, able to connect but the connection drops?
    Try this:
Shutdown your PC and both of your Macs
Turn of the Linksys switch and unplug it from the Motorola Router
Unplug the PowerBook which is wired to the Motorola and directly (with the same ethernet cable) connect it to the Linksys switch
    Turn on the Linksys switch
    Turn on your PowerBook
Open Safari or any other browser and go to: http://192.168.1.225 or http://192.168.1.225 (or whatever address Linksys told you)
Configure your Linksys switch (Change SSID) and save new settings
now, if everything goes fine, then:
Connect the PowerBook to the Motorola Router (just as it was before)
Connect the Linksys switch to the Motorola Router via an Ethernet Cable
Try to connect (from your PowerBook via Safari) to the Linksys switch@ http://192.168.1.225 or http://192.168.1.225 (or whatever address Linksys told you)
Keep the iMac and the PC shutdown untill you manage to set up the Linksys switch propperly
    Post back feedback

  • [FlashPro CC & AIR] Icons are reset each time I change the target Air Platform

    Hi guys,
I have an annoying bug with my Flash CC : I'm building an Air app and each time I change the target platform (either Android or iOS or Windows) the <icon> tag is cleaned... so I have to set all the icons files again. Each and every time. All the icons.
Is it a known bug ? Is there a fix ? Is it a feature ? I tried to uninstall and clean all the cache, it does nothing. I have Flash CC on my work computer and on my laptop and the problem is on both computers...
I have the latest version of Flash CC and it's not linked to an Air version.
Thanks in advance for your help !

  • How do I change SSID name on Photosmart C4780

I am running Windows 7. on diagnostics summary it states FAIL on network name (SSID). I am trying to add/change that name. Thanks for any advice Mike

Get the latest software for your printer from the "Support & Drivers" link at the top of this page.  Run the software, choosing Network or Wireless installation type when it asks.

  • Changing SSID on HP Printer on Mac Mavericks (10.9.4)

I bought an HP Photosmart C4780 printer in 2010. I configured it back then for ethernet and wireless. It has been working fine since then. Recently, I changed my wireless router and changed the SSID. I have an HP app called HP Setup Assistant. I tried this and it fails (blows up). Using the CD that came with the printer to configure also blows up. It looks like you are supposed to use the Apple App Store to get HP updates. I see no app called HP Setup Assistant in the Apple App Store. All of the instuctions I can find, tell you to use Apple Software Update but when I do this, I don't see any updates. I want to update my printer's SSID but I cannot figure out how. I don't have Airport and I don't think my printer supports non-cable wireless setup. Please help.

Hi @JimS228 , and welcome to the HP Forums.
I see you're looking to change your SSID.  Due to the age of the printer, and therefore lack of software available, there is no software option to change the SSID.
    There is two possible workarounds:
You can connect the printer to the computer directly with an ethernet cable.  You can then access the printers embedded web server, and change the SSID information:
Accessing the HP Embedded Web Server
You can also use a computer that has compatible software to connect and change the SSID.
Please let me know if you have any questions.  Thanks for posting on the HP Forums!

  • Help - trying to change SSID and password

I would like to change my Verizon Fios network name and password from the factory settings but I am experiencing the following problem:
Keep in mind that I have a Dell laptop.
    1. I go into the Verizon Online portal to change the settings, and successfully enter the new SSID in the box and click "Apply" (not the problem)
    2. Then, my wireless network disconnects. The name changes to what I just entered in the list of available networks, but there is a red "X" next to it and I am unable to connect. The message says that the settings entered do not match those configured for the network.
It seems like my computer refuses to accept the new network name and password, so even though I am able to change the network name and password, the computer is remembering the old and will not connect to the new.
    Any suggestions?

sound like your stored password is wrong
    for win 7
    Open Network and Sharing Center.
In the Tasks pane, click Manage wireless networks.
Right-click the connection you want to delete, and then click Remove network.
In the Manage Wireless Networks - Warning dialog box, click OK.
    for win 8
In the list of availble networks, right click on the network and select forget this network.
Then reconnect to network. You will be prompted for the password.

  • Changing SSID on HH3 throttling speed on BT infini...

Before upgrade to BT Infinity was able to change the SSID broadcast name from the default with no apparent issue.
After upgrade, using default name (eg BTHub3-xxxx) get the estimated 40mb download speed. Changing from default to option of choice max speed goes right down to below 10mb download. Very weird and don't understand reason for it.
Any ideas? Has anyone else come across this problem and managed to find a way round it?

I know the reason for this
On a windows vista based laptop (others similar), when you open network and sharing centre, then manage wireless networks, you will see previous history for any wireless connection that you've made in the past.
When you delete these, you would think they have been completely deleted from the laptop, but they've not.
If you then go back to network and sharing, look for customize and click this.
You'll then see merge or delete network locations, click this
You will then see ALL previous connections, with the option to delete them. Then they are gone for good.
    This may help.
