How to change task list in inspection lot manually??
I have maintained manual assignment of task list in material master.

Hi Amit,
There are two ways to incorporate your requirement: -
1. With having singable tasklist( With singable Tasklist counter)
Assume you have a Material "M"
Customer: - C1 And C2
Tasklist Group:- ABC
Counter: - 01
Go to QP02. Select the The Tasklist group counter line item, click on "Material Assignment" And assign the Material and both the customer C1 and C2 here to the material.
(Material will be assigned two times)
Now go to characteristics overview screen. Select the MIC and click on "Dependant Characteristic". Where if you have different limits (5 to 10 for C1 and 5 to 15 for C2), you can assign it the relevant line item representing the customer.
2. Two different group counters:-
Assume you have a Material "M"
Customer: - C1 And C2
Tasklist Group:- ABC
Counter: - 01 for C1
Counter: - 02 for C2
Then it is very simple boss! Go to material assignment and assign the materials along with the Customers over there.

Compensation Workbench (CWB) Access Changes (Task List)

I have a requirement to change the access levels for managers during the enrollment period for CWB plans.
For Example : The Letters task should be hidden at the start of the period and made available somewhere towards the end of it.
I am able to see that the task access can be changed from Plan Administration screens but they are not getting reflected in the Manager tasklists. I have even tried running the CWB Refresh process (Though I couldn't see how it would update the access levels) without much luck.
Any pointers will be appreciated.

After some digging found the following.
If a task is set to read-only or hidden at the time of participation process, its status cannot be changed after participation. So, the way to control this from plan administration form is to set all tasks to full access, run participation and then update the tasks to reflect the required access levels.

Change Request Management "There is no task list for this project"

Hello!
I would like to use the functionality of CharM in SOLMAN 4.0.
When I enter the Tcode /n/tmwflow/proj I receive the waring/error "There is no task list for this project" (/TMWFLOW/TRACK_N114)
If I create my own task list via Task list --> create
I get the warning "You cannot change task lists in the SAP namespace"
What are the steps to define task list for my project?
Do I need to configure SPRO ... --> Extended Configuration --> Schedule Manager?
The second warning I get: "NO CTS projects created yet" or
"The Solution Manager project does not have an active CTS project yet".
How can these warnings/errors be corrected?

Unable to reset sample for the equipment task list. Example: Equipment task list has been created on 01.10.2007 & inspection lot is created on 10.12.2007 which requires the changed in the inspection characteristics

You may change the Inspection charecterstucs and save the Task List.
After that u have to reassign that task list to the Lot. for that Trasaction code is QAC3 give the lot no. and enter
, without doing anything save it. now go to QA02 and reassign the task list and sampling procedure. and save it.
Now u may do RR as per ur new charecterstics.

I am not clear whats the question is. There is no concept of changing from time to counter....I think you want to change the scheduling indicators from time to counter based ? if yes, then you need to change it at the maintenance strategy level. once task list has been created with particlualr startegy, it cannot be revert back...you have to create a new task list for new strategy.

Inspection Lot without task list

Dear experts,
I've this problem:
I've create an inspection lot without task list.
If I try to assing a task list the system give me the message "No inspection plan could be found".
But in transaction QP02 I've seen that the inspection plan exists and the material is assinged to the insepction plan correctly.
Where's the error?

Most of the issues for a plan not being assigned have been raised here already. I suggest you rereview the value in QA02 to see what usage the lot is looking for. Than change the key date to one day after the date the inspection plan was created and assigned to the material.
Once you have double checked all the above, go to QA02 and click on the button to assign the specifications/plan and see if the lot is updated.
If not, please tell us:
1) what is the inspection type and origin for this lot.
2) what are that statuses of the lot at this time.
That might help us.

when i do UD for fish material. with QA32....in QA32 showing inspection lot no..but when i select line item of inspection lot and click on inspection lot..one window open..when i go inspection specification for task list..when i click on task list....show the massage....
but i all ready created inspection plan from QP01...i have over ther MIC and sampling procedure also

Dear,
Is this quality Plan is back dated and Lot size should be 1 to 9999,999.
Why are you creating rate routing? check lot for 04 insp type in QA02.
Or for old material just create one new order and test it once again.
You can check the statuses in config.
QM>Quality Planning>Inspection Planning>General>Define Task List Status.
You should find that "4" is in there with all the check marks on.
QM--> Quality Inspection --> Inspection Lot Creation --> Maintain Inspection Lot Origins and Assign Inspection Types.
There is a column called status. For each inspection ORIGIN, you can specify the status of the inspection plan. It appears someone in your system changed the 4's to an X and then created the status "X".

Solman Change Request Management Issue - about create task list

We are now using Solman ChangeRM. I have created a maintainance project and maintained its logical component and IMG project. when I want to create a task list for this project, a message"The project is not released. Hence cycle can not be created" poped. The message no. is /TMWFLOW/CONFIG_UI017. Where can I release the project?

[QM] How to create an inspection lot with task list assigned?

Hello, everyone.
I know, the similar questions have been asked plenty of times, but I am still unable to find a suitable receipe of the inspection lot creation. My goal is to create an inspection lot programmatically and be able to record its results using, e.g., BAPI_INSPOPER_RECORDRESULTS.
Creating a lot does not appear to be a big problem. I just call the following FMs:
QPL1_INITIALIZE
QPL1_INSPECTION_LOT_CREATE
QPL1_UPDATE_MEMORY
QPL1_INSPECTION_LOTS_POSTING
BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT
As a result, I have a new shiny inspectin lot, but it comes with statuses "CRTD" and "CHCR". I do specify PLNAL and PLNNR fields values for the QALS structure which is passed to QPL1_INSPECTION_LOT_CREATE, but that does not seem to have any effect. When I call BAPI_INSPOPER_RECORDRESULTS later (result values and inspection points come from another lot which is used as a template), it reports of beging unable to find characteristics for the inspection operations (error E026).
Does anyone know which of the QPL1_INSPECTION_LOT_CREATE parameters affect task list assignment besides PLNAL and PLNR? Or maybe there is a special FM which associates a task list with an inspection lot?

Hi Samuel,
You can get create an Agent as a Task by using the following steps:
1. Go to Customizing --> EHS --> Industrial Hygiene & safety --> Risk Assessment --> Specify Agent Types
2. Click on "TASK' Agent type and click on Details icon (CtrlShiftF2)
3. In the "Only EHS-IHS" drop down, Select "No"
4. Save the entry
5. Now try creating an Agent [CBIH92] and you can create an Agent as a Task.

I have created a quality plant and assigned the MICs. When I am trying to Process the quality lot which is created automatically through QA32, I got an error, ,No inspection plan could be found'
When i create an inspection lot system is picking up the Task list and picking up the Sample size.
Please provide some light on this.

Is it possible to change Planning Plant in General Task list, ie. for eg.
Earlier I have General Task list Group:22, Group Counter:1, with Planning Plant:0001 & now i want to change/update new planning plant 0002 instead of old 0001 in the same task list.
could you plz suggest me, is it possible? & how to do changes?

Its not possible to change the Planning plant , You can delete that task list or you can put deletion flag on it, and go for new creation

Mass change of component in Task list

Hi Experts
I have thousands of material and there are changes done for them to use them in maintenance order task list as stock or nonstock.
The task is to change the item category (from L to N or from N to L) of those materials used as components in task list and also find out those materials in BOM , Equipment TL and FL TL and change the item category.
1.can this be done using a BDC (checking all task list / BOM for that material and change the item category)
2. table to check component assigned to which operation in task list.
Any help for this requirement

There is no standard transaction for the changing of components in the task lists this would have to be a bespoke program.
If you are looking to change the components allowcated to the Bills of Material you can use transaction CS20 where you can replace the exisitng component category N with the new component category L.
There is transactions for changing the PRT and Work Center if you get your ABAP consultant to have a look at the PRT transaction/program (transaction CA77) he may be able to copy and ammend this to make things a little easyer.
