Change text size and colour of report values ?

Hi,
I have a formula as part of a BEx query in version 3.5 and I'd like to make the values of this formula stand out more by either changing the text size of this one row and/or changing the colour.
I've already selected the "highlighting" option but this only changes the colour to a light blue colour.
Does anyone know if it's possible to change the text size and colour of one or more rows of a report?
Thanks.

HI Mark,
Greetings.
Your requirement can be met by using exceptions. It can not change/increase the text size but it can give you color coding based on the conditions you set while creating query.
Open your query in Designer and click on exception button on the top menu bar. Define your condition on whatever key figure you want to get the color coding and execute your report.
Let me know if this is what you were looking for.
Thanks
Sachin

    Hi,
    Well i generate a report which has two three columns.....
    1) Description
    2) Column 1 for fiscal year 2009
    3) Column 2 for fiscal year 2008 for comparison
    Here after these columns we have unformated space as a column.
    Now we tried to hide this column but the system is not allowing to hide this.
    How can we remove this unformatted column/space from the print output.
    Thanking you,

    Do you still have all toolbars visible (View > Toolbars)?
    Did you use an extension or the standard zoom buttons that you can find in the toolbar palette in the View > Toolbars > Customize window ?
    Press F10 or tap the Alt key to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily.

    Hi forum, how do you see the size and colour of a piece of text in Dreamweaver Cs5, I have some text in a dreamweaver file which is a size I like and a colour I like and I want to make a CSS rule with these characteristics. How can you see what size and colour a piece of text is?
    Many thanks for any help

    Above code is deprecated.  CS5 will not pick up these styles in the CSS styles panel.  Legacy sites are not simple to work with.  They need to be converted to  modern standards.  You do this by stripping the HTML styles from markup  and re-writing styles to CSS.
    <p>This is a normal paragraph</p>
    Put your CSS styles between your document's <head> and </head> tags:
    <style type="text/css">
    p {
    color: #FF0066;
    font-size: small;
    font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
    </style>
    Or, create an external stylesheet to which your HTML documents are linked like this:

  • In SAP 4.6c In classical reports output how to change Font size and Font type

    Dear Experts,
    In SAP 4.6c, in classical and interactive reports  output how to change font size and font type.
    Regards,
    Zaker.

    These are HTML formatting questions. Nothing to do with the Oracle SQL and PL/SQL languages.
    With old-style HTML, the font size and family are set using the font tag.
    With modern style HTML, that is done using cascading style sheets (CSS).
    Your favourite search engine will turn up tons of information on both.

  • The CR 2010 for VS engine changes the margins and scales the report

    The CR 2010 for VS engine changes the margins and scales the report but only when printing.
    Environment:
    OS: Windows 7 x64 / Windows 2008 x64
    VS: VS 2010 x64
    CR designer: CR 2008 SP3.5
    CR engine: CR 2010 for VS SP1
    We have upgraded the Crystal Reports engine from version 10 to u201CCrystal Reports 2010 for VSu201D and are now having major issues with printing reports to preprinted papers, giro forms etc. because the report margins are changed and the reports are scaled (when report elements are in non-printable area?). Reports with elements in non-printable area are shown correctly in print preview (CR 2010 CrystalReportViewer) but moved to printable area when printed. This behavior was different in CR 10. Changing the PrintLayoutSettings in code is ignored when printing.
    Error u2013 The printed reports are scaled:
    -     Print in the CR 2008 Designer SP2
    -     CR 2010 for VS SP1
    OK u2013 The reports are not scaled:
    -     Print in the CR 2008 Designer SP3.5
    -     Print in the CR 10 Designer
    -     CR 10 engine
    Test:
    1) Crystal Reports Designer 2008 (with SP 3.5)
      a) Create a new blank RPT file.
      b) Set report margins to 0,0,0,0 in Page Setup.
      c) Add a box in the upper left corner (x=0, y=0).
      d) Select "Print preview" and validate that the box is located in 0,0 in preview window.
      e) Select u201CPrintu201D and validate that the box is located in 0,0 of the paper. Some of the box borders might be outside of the printable area but that is ok.
    2) Visual Studio 2010 and u201CCR 2010 for VSu201D with SP1:
      a) Create a new Windows Forms Application project (.NET Framework 4.0). Set project to u201C.NET Framework 4.0u201D and platform target u201Cx86u201D.
      b) Add the CrystalReportViewer control to Form1.
      c) Add the RPT file to the CrystalReportViewer control
      d) Run the application
      e) Validate that the box is located in 0,0 in the CrystalReportViewer control.
      f) Select the "Print" icon in the CrystalReportViewer
      h) Click the "Print" button and validate that the box is moved to the printable area which is wrong.
    Notice: In the print dialog (CR 2010 for VS) select the "Layout" tab page and see that "Scale u2026" is selected and cannot be changed. This is different from the CR 2008 Designer even though that it is the same report file and printer.

    I have done the requested test (and more - see below) and can not reproduce the issue.
    Tests done
    1) Crystal Reports Designer 2008 (with SP 3.5)
    a) Create a new blank RPT file.
    b) Set report margins to 0,0,0,0 in Page Setup.
    c) Add a box in the upper left corner (x=0, y=0).
    d) Select "Print preview" and validate that the box is located in 0,0 in preview window.
    e) Select u201CPrintu201D in the CR designer. Results in the box printing at 0,0 coordinate of the paper.
    f) Repeat all of above with a text field report
    g) Select u201CPrintu201D in the CR designer. Results in the text printing at 0,0 coordinate of the paper.
    2) Visual Studio 2010 and u201CCR 2010 for VSu201D with SP1:
    a) Create a new Windows Forms Application project (.NET Framework 4.0). Set project to u201C.NET Framework 4.0u201D and platform target u201Cx86u201D.
    b) Add the CrystalReportViewer control to Form1.
    c) Add the RPT file to the CrystalReportViewer control
    d) Run the application
    e) Validate that the box is located in 0,0 in the CrystalReportViewer control.
    f) Select the "Print" icon in the CrystalReportViewer
    g) Click the "Print" button
    h) Text filed report test results in the text printing at 0,0 coordinate of the paper.
    i) Box report test results in the text printing at 0,0 coordinate of the paper.
    3) VS2010 IDE
    a) Create a new blank RPT file.
    b) Set report margins to 0,0,0,0 in Page Setup.
    c) Add a box in the upper left corner (x=0, y=0).
    d) Preview report in the ID designer and validate that the box is located in 0,0 in preview window.
    e) Select u201CPrintu201D in the IDE designer. Results in the box printing at 0,0 coordinate of the paper.
    f) Run above report in code
    g) Preview report and validate that the box is located in 0,0 in preview window
    h) Select the "Print" icon in the CrystalReportViewer
    i) Click the "Print" button
    j) Text filed report test results in the text printing at 0,0 coordinate of the paper.
    k) Repeat all of above with a new report that uses a text field rather than a box.
    None of my reports have the option "No Printer" checked.
    All of my reports have the option "Dissociate Formatting Page Size and Printer Paper Size" checked
    From the above, you can see that all of the printing tests result in consistent printing, be it a report created in CR 2008 or CRVS2010, useing a box or a field. No difference in printing.
    Suggestions:
    1) I am not sure if you have followed the steps you recommended. E.g.; are you creating a new report or using your existing report? See if following the steps described reproduces the issue (it may be there is something specific to your existing reports)
    2) Make sure you have the latest printer driver available for your printer
    3) Try a different printer
    4) Add a report to the VS2010 IDE and preview the report in the IDE of VS2010
    5) Compare the "No Printer" and "Dissociate Formatting Page Size and Printer Paper Size"  options
    6) Consider creating a phone case so a support technician can troubleshoot the issue with you

  • How do I change text size in auto-page tabs

    Now I'm trying to make the page tabs fit across my page. I've got several pages and will probably have more. I don't want all of them on the bar as they'll be linked in my text. I would also like to make the text smaller and maybe reformat to another font or style.
    I don't find anything on this but maybe I'm not searching the right terminology.

    You're referring to the navbar.  You can remove any page from the navbar by going to the Inspector/Page/Page pane while viewing the page and unchecking the box to include that page in the navbar:
    To change the font size of the navbar text see this post by Cyclosaurus: How do you change the size and font of...: Apple Support Communities.
    Wyodor also posted a way to change the font size: Darkroom Navigation Font Size: Apple Support Communities.
    If you only have a couple of pages you can create your own text based navbar and complete control over the font, size, rollover color, etc. This demo page has an example: Text Based Navbar. Be sure to use Web Safe Fonts.

  • Ability to change font size and font color thru console

    I have a console that a client can pretty much do all the
    changes they
    want.. now they want to be able to change the font sizes for
    certain titles
    and also the color..
    Since 95% of the site is controlled with CSS is there
    something i can add
    to the console page to allow them to change the size and
    color of the titles
    and text?
    ASP, SQL2005, DW8 VBScript

    Here's what I have done in the past. Maybe not elegant, but
    it works. (I
    use PHP, but I'm sure you can modify for ASP.)
    In the HEAD of each web page, include regular old embedded
    STYLE tags,
    but INCLUDE an external PHP file:
    <head>
    <style type="text/css">
    <?php include('styles/testcss.php'); ?>
    </style>
    </head>
    Now in that included PHP file, just have CSS code which pulls
    in your
    dynamic data. Here's an example snippet:
    body {
    color: #600;
    background-color: <?php echo
    $row_recordset['bgcolor'];?>
    Of course, you'll need the code for the recordset somewhere
    too.

  • Change the size and style of the menu

    How can I change the size and font on the automatically created menu in iWeb?
    I cannot select it like other text on the site..

    The words under pictures on the photo pages are also part of the template. What you see is the default.
    But you can change this. You can change the font, font size and font color. Just hightlight it by dragging the cursor over it and select font to change the font and size. And you can use the color wheel to change the color
    Good luck!
    Edit: if you choose a large font you may have to adjust the space between the pictures. This can be done in the inspector. Just play with it to see what works.

  • Change Texts on the Submit Expense Report Screen

    Hi all,
    I've tried to introduce a text using new functionality provided in last upgrade "Change Texts on the Submit Expense Report Screen" in order to be displayed when an expense report is sent for approval, but it doesn't work.
    Do you know if this functionality is working? If it is working properly, could you explain me how I have to configure this to display the text?
    Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi Héctor,
    just checked it in the test system - it works fine. Please note that these settings may be country version spesific. To change the text:
    open the fine tuning activity 'Change Texts on Submit Expense Report Screen'
    click 'Add Row' in General Use block - new row added and a country version can be selected (if active), this field can be also empty - then the entry is relevant for generic country version. Optionaly provide a description.
    click 'Create and Edit Texts'. Here the user can define a disclaimer text per language using 'Add Row' and entering the language as code (EN, DE etc)
    at the end of activity save the changes using 'Save and Close'
    Depending on country version and logon language the travelelr will see now specific dissclaimer text.
    Best regards,
    Alexander

  • How do I change text size in a check box in CS3

    How do I change text size in a check box in CS3?

    While I've never done it myself for a checkbox, components
    have a textField property which is essentially the texfield inside
    the component. You probably need to apply a TextFormat to it to
    change the size.
    But if this involves the same problem you had yesterday,
    where you couldn't change the width of the checkbox, I doubt you'll
    have much luck changing the text size

  • How to change print size and DPI setting in Aperture

    If I import a raw image from my camera (D2X) to Aperture and print the image at about 8"x10" through Aperture, it prints at about 300 DPI, if I change to size of the same image to 12"x18", in Aperture, it prints the image at about 166 DPI. I do not believe there is a way to change this in Aperture.
    My question is, can I open the image at 8"x10" in PS, change the size and resolution to 12"x18" and 300 DPI then save it, open it again in Aperture and print it. If I do these things, will the image printed in Aperture still be 300 DPI and how can I check it to see if that is the case?
    I have not been able to find the DPI setting anywhere in Aperture to confirm that it is what I want or need.

    "You can make the pixels bigger by making the image larger but you can't add any more pixels without running some kind of interpolation filtration like GenuineFractals or a recomputation like bicubic."
    Thank you for your explanation and that brings me exactly to the point of my question.
    Can I interpolate my original NEF raw image after conversion by Aperture to a much larger image for print using something similar to what Photoshop does with it's bicubic smoother or as is done in genuine fractals or must I go out of Aperture and back if I want to print with Aperture. I am hoping you will tell me that Aperture is or will be capable of interpolating an image to a larger one with more than just the pixels supplied by the camera. I do not belive that these are not enough by themselves to print a quality image in a much larger size.
    I may be wrong, but I believe that it is somewhat common practice to interpolate an image to get a greater resolution printed image at a size larger that what is possible with a resolution provided by the (D2x in my case) DSLR camera.
    Or is this just a tempest in a teapot. In other words, will I be able to take the image out of the D2x (12.5 megapixels) and print a 13x 19" image with the same quality in Aperture (uninterpolated but enlarged) as an interpolated image in PS or Genuine Fractals and then in PS?
    Thank you
