Change the address of the cost center

Hi Gurus,
I am trying to change the address of the cost Center master in that i need to change the Jurdiction code also . now it id showing display mode only. can any one suggest me regarding on this issue.

Hello,
You have posted transactions to this cost centre.
I suppose you arr not using Vertex or another external tax system as any changes by the US government will automatically change the details of the cost centre.
In KS02, menu oath edit-->analysis period. Change the date from to the date that you want the changed jurisdiction code to begin from. Make your changes and save.
Further, test the changes in a sandpit or test system first, as a cost centre jurisdiction should not really change unless US boundaries change.

Hello,
Once the documents are posted in FI module, the system doesn't allow anybody to change the cost objects (cost center, profit center, internal order). The only fields you can change through FB02 transaction are the Line item text (BSEG-SGTXT) and the assignment (BSEG-ZUONR).
If you want to get a change to the cost object to be reflected from FI to CO, you should reverse the FI documents with wrong cost objects and post new documents with correct cost center, profit center.

Is there any list / report to see the material posted to COST Center

I have created a Purchase Order for raw material with Account category "K" cost center and prepared a goods receipts for that.
As I was expecting this GR doesn't increase the stock of Plant mentioned in Purchase Order
But I was expecting that there will be two enteries in MATERIAL MOVEMENT with + and - qty. But there is only one entry with + qty.Can anyone explain the reason for that.
Also pls help to search a report where i can see Stock which have been consumed by a COST Center.

When you Receipt the material for Consumption (Cost center ), There two entries are posted with PO amount .
i.e
Debited to G/L account assigned to Material valuation class with Transaction GBB-VBR.This G/L account was used as a Cost elements for Cost center.
Creadited to GR/IR Account.
Reports:-
Go for transaction code MB51
select Materia , Plant,...
Select Movement type -201
Execute report.
Go for Current display varient and select cost center as aPosition/line 1and continue.
You will get report by cost center.

The FM you are looking for is BAPI_BUSINESS_PARTNER_CHANGE
You can use the table PARTNERADDR to fill the Address of the Partner.

Sender Cost Center may not be the same as Receiver Cost Center

Hello every body
I am trying to create a report that shows the hours that an employee has spend on an activity in a project.
Key Figure:
Hours
Characteristics:
Sender Cost Center (Employees Cost Center)
Receiver Cost Center
Activity code
What happens is that in some cases the Sender- and Receiver Cost Center do have the same value (are the same) in a row. The task in front of me is to exclude these rows from the query result.
One way to resolve the problem is to make a variable for each object; use replacement path and bring the values of their key into query as keyFigures; subtract one from the other, and use a condition that only allows values different from 0.
The problem is that the key value of the Cost Centers are not always numeric values (e.g. M10110). These values can not be a part of a subtraction.
I can resolve this issue by deleting the data in the cube and make a key Figure in update rules with values 0 (sdr. and rec. have different keys) and 1 (sdr. and rec. have same keys).
Does any one knows of a way to accomplish the result I need in BEx, so I can avoid deleting every thing in the cube?

Require to change the address in the Work address view of the contact

We have a requirement in which the user access a Contact. In it he access the Work Address assignment block navigates through the "EDIT" button.In that view the Address field is non editable, which remains editable only when the user is assigning the new address. When i make that field editable on the event of EDIT button also then it becomes a dropdown and on selecting a value other than the saved value, and on saving the same it does not saves the changed address although all other changed values of other editable fields are saved successfully.
Can anyone suggest any other approach for changing the same address on that particular view? or any suggestion for saving the same value.

Hi Sharad,
to change the address of the contact you must change in "Main Address and Communication Data" view. The work address view is responsible for storage the address of main account.

Change a node on a Cost Center Group

Dear experts,
Is there any way to change a node on a cost center group (KSH1) ? i also would like to change the description!

Click on the node and Click on the Wand Buttion (Select:Shortcut F9)
and there you can delete and change the place of the group. Dont think you can change text. For that you may have to create the node again.

Found the answer a Mail>preferances>Viewing>Show header detail. Changed it to Default.

Process a credit card without having the address in the system

In R11i we were able to do a transaction on a credit card by passing in the address via the p_pmtinstr_rec parameter without that address being in the system. Now in R12 Payment that record type has changed so it no longer has address as part of that record type. So we were wondering what the solution would be to process a credit card in R12 without having complete TCA data setup for the customers.

My Firefox-Version:
6.0.2 on Windows XP
My Problem:
Since a few weeks (I think since Version 6.x) I experience this problem.
When I click on a link, normally the URL-bar gets updated and shows the address of the new (the current) website.
This doesn´t work now - for some links!
Example:
Surf to times.com.
Then click on an article-link (for example this one: "Opinion »
Op-Ed: Germany’s Mediterranean Envy ).
The link (the new website) opens in the same tab. But in the URL-bar I still see just "times.com". I even don't see "http://" infront of it.
And very important to me: I don't see the complete URL of the article - which should be
"http://www.nytimes.com/2011/09/26/opinion/germanys-love-for-greece.html?hp".
That causes many problems with my work. :-/

You can set the pref browser.urlbar.formatting.enabled to false on the about:config page to disable the highlighting of the domain and see the full URL more clearly.
You can set the pref browser.urlbar.trimURLs to false on the about:config page to see the protocol (e.g. http or https).
To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website. 
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page. 
*Use the Filter bar at to top of the about:config page to locate a preference more easily.
*Preferences that have been modified show as bold (user set).
*Preferences can be reset to the default via the right-click context menu if they are user set
*Preferences can be changed via the right-click context menu: Modify (String or Integer) or Toggle (Boolean)
