Change the appearance in album

Hi ,
I am Jatin Sharma , i love your phones , but one thing i need to get updated and corrected in all your's android phones , the time we enter the album in every sony android phones , we get switch into the whole panel where we see images and videos both at the same place , make it easier as samsung phones have done with there gallery part.
My concern is we need to see that , the time we go on album , it should be get separated into different folders just like images , downloads , bluetooth recevd fles , videos and whatsapp videos ., etc.
People get stuked into that album icons to find there memorable moments video or images . I need to buy the cellphones , but due to this reason i am not going for it.
Kindly make the update in all your coming cellphones .

It already is if you tap the top left corner and then select Folders - So the option is there just not default - You may want the folder view as default and many more want the current default - Not everyone will be happy

Hyperlink panel disabled - So how do I change the appearance of a hyperlink?

I am at the final stages of layout and the only thing preventing me from publishing electronically is that the hyperlinks have bounding boxes around them. I have previously been able to use the hyperlink options to change the appearance of a hyperlink but my panel is completely greyed out > see below. I can only change the destination and that does not give any link options. The panel doesn't even register any hyperlinks although you can see many in my screen grab alone. I have modified the character style but since these are active links (which should remain active), the style does not change the bounding box. I even tried retyping links and linking them to their URL with InDesign but I cannot control any options after a link has been made. I also cannot afford to do this +100 times. Anyone have any tips? I'm using CS6 on a MacBook Pro. I've already rebooted the computer and InDesign to no avail. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a script I can use?

Change the appearance of a 'saved search stack' in dock

Hi,
I read a hint on Mac OS X Hints which I particularly like, allowing for a saved search in the dock to behave as a stack showing all recently used documents. See here for the original hint.
The problem I have is that the icon of this stack is a drawer with papers in it. It looks really out of place next to my other stacks, so I would like to customise it. I have changed the icon of the entry in ~/Library/Saved Searches, but that doesn't get reflected in the dock. I have looked at ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.dock.plist, but there is no reference to an icon in there that I could potentially change.
How do I change the appearance of a 'saved search stack' in the dock!?

I agree with you that this is not good design and only adds to the confusion of new users, not lessens it.
It also makes more steps for experienced users.
Still it is what it is. Personally I'm sticking with Snow Leopard. After all the anticipation I found Apple has screwed up Lion and it is looking like their version of Vista. A rearrangement of the deckchairs to distract you from the gaping hole in the side of the ship, and that the Shipping Company has decided they are switching to other businesses.
Save a version is Save, and OSX handles all saves using versions you can step back through.
Duplicate is Save as with an extra step inbetween where the file has another name that you need to change. btw also lacks a shortcut. Nice one Apple.
Revert has always been there in OSX and was one of the few improvements in that it consistently lets you go back to your last saved version.

Unfortunately there is no way to change the text or appearance of this dialog box. You are stuck with it as is.

There aren't many (if any) themes for Firefox 4.0 at the moment, so your best option is to use a persona.

I was changing the appearance of the icons in the dock. And I decided to try doing the same thing to the icon in the sidebar in Finder. I ended up making one icon into a grey square. How do I restore the original sidebar icon?

What home page are you referring to? If you use google or other providers as your homepage, they offer some customization. You will need to review their help content for details.
If you are talking about the actual appearance of Firefox, you can change this quite easily. Just take a look at [[Using themes with Firefox]].

HT201210 iOS7 - changing the appearance?

I do not believe I am the only person who finds the look of iOS7 to be poorly considered. The very distinctive look of iOS6 has been sacrificed for a cheap-looking and garish re-deign and palette that is far from easy on the eye. It is a morphing of marketing material from Orange from 15 years ago with graphics from Ceebeebies - truly hideous. I find I am using my iPhone now with a degree of reluctance. When I do it's like the giant scratch on your new car that you can't stop staring at. Yes there are more important things in the World - but I am still tied into a contract on my phone for a good while yet and I would never have purchased an iPhone if it looked like this. Did Apple carry out ANY market research on this? If so - can we see the published details. If not, why the complete disregard for the thoughts of the millions who generate the compny's billions? So my question is - can I (in the good old way that Microsoft updates let you) change the appearance of iOS7 to the "retro" look of iOS6? If not, when will Apple release a fix to let me?

I am trying to get used to it but it's not getting any easier to look at my iphone ios7 interface. I want like it but I can't. Some of the new features are nice - but not worth the sacrifice of having cheap looking icons and unpleasant backround colors that overall look like a cartoon desktop that is hard to read.
I liked the old os immediately and never tired of it. Change for the sake of change is not necessarily improvement.
I hope Apple is listening - it's not fun to struggle with this look.

How can I use most of the features of firefox 5 without changing the appearance of my browser?

I just downloaded the new version of firefox, and everything seems great except for the new layout and the change in general appearance. It is less streamlined and more distracting. I do not like the blocky look of the buttons or the lack of division between sections. Is there a way to keep the changes in the way firefox 5 works without the change in appearance?
If there is not, how can I reload the old version of firefox until one I like better is released?

I would try to stick with the silhouette gray/black buttons, but since it already bothers you at least stick to a theme or style limited to the ones on the toolbars (not the dialogs, which would be too wasteful) see item #48

Can you change the view of album covers when playing music on Apple TV?

I love the coverflow view when playing tracks on my mac. Its what I always wanted to be able to see the album cover as large as the screen while the song plays.
However on Apple Tv its "not quite" the same!
I feel that the text is too big (taking up half the screen) and although the album cover takes up the other half, the text and album cover keep switching sides of the screen every 10 seconds or so which i find a little annoying! Does anyone else find this annoying or just me?
Of course I love my mac and apple TV however i cant find a way to change this view when music is playing. I would like coverflow on apple Tv just like on mac. A full screen showing the album cover, with smaller text to show artist and track and not to switch sides of the screen!
Does anyone know what im banging on about and can you help!

I thought the side to side motion would be to protect the screen somehow but i dont really like it!
Not at all relaxing when playing a soothing song to see the graphics flipping back and forth.
Its great technology, amazing, but could this viewing option be changed somehow by the wizards at apple.
I might need to hit the off button on Tv and just listen on speakers otherwise.

How to change the order of albums iOS 8?

I recently upgraded from an iPhone 5 to a 6 Plus. Everything is fine except for the fact that some of my music is in the wrong order. There are some groups that released multiple albums in the same year, and I would like them to be in the order of when they were released. On my 5 I was able to put them in the right order by going on a computer, changing the sorting, then update iTunes Match to have it change on my phone as well. (example; group came out with album "1" and "2" same year and it defaults to "2" first, then "1." I was able to change it on the iPhone 5 to be in the right order by changing how they are sorted from my computer but that doesn't work on the 6 Plus.) I would like to order it where it goes top to bottom, with the newest on top going down. How would I do this?

How to change the order of tables within sheets
Make a table active by clicking in it once to select that table, then drag it by the 'bullseye' (top left, I have placed a red circle to show the bullseye):
After dragging the table down:
Table 1 is now below Table 2.
The blue line is an Alignment Guide
Two types of Guide:
1. Menu > View >Show Rulers. Drag Alignment Guides from a ruler to where you want them.
2. Menu > Numbers > Preferences > Rulers > Alignment Guides. Turn on (tick) both guides. That allows you to align objects with *each other* (as well as with the ruler guides). These guides help to align objects left, middle, right, top, bottom.
Alignment Guides do not show unless you are moving an object.

Not possible in Numbers 3. The Sheets Pane has gone. Instead, select the entire table (click once in the table to make it active, then click on the bullseye). Copy (or Cut if you are brave). Go to another Sheet and Paste.
Also can you change the size of sheet tab width on tab toolbar, so I can see more sheets at once??
No. Let's hope this will be added in future updates. However, you can drag a Sheet tab left or right to reorder them.
Another tip: each Sheet tab shows the contents of that Sheet, with some options such as Duplicate and Delete:

javax.media.j3d.CapabilityNotSetException: Shape3D: no capability to set appearance
My code looks as following:

I don't understand. Any idea?You can get the current Appearance object of a Shape3D object with the getAppearance method and change this object (watch that appropriate capabilities have to be set on the Appearance object) instead of creating a new Appearance object and add it to the Shape3D.
