How do we change the Creator on a ticket?

We often put tickets in for our users, which results in us occasionally forgetting to change the creator from us to the user in question. I used to be able to just change the creator by clicking in the field & typing in the correct person's name.
Since our upgrade to 7.4, I can no longer do this. Is there a different way of doing that now or has that functionality been taken away?

How to change the existing sap logon ticket
HI
I did the System copy from my production server to Quality server.
Now everthing is working except Single Sign On. This is due to SAPlogon ticket.
the SAPlogon ticket show the PRD sid. I am not able to change the existing sid in ticket.
Tell me how to chage the old saplogon ticket with new one.
Workaround i did in my server.

You dont have to import the certificate from R/3 into portal
we have to generate the certificate in portal and then import in R/3
To generate the portal certificate in quality Portal system and uploading in R/3,please find the method:
Log on to the Visual Admin of Portal with administrator id and password. Go to the following node: Server 0 1_34158->services and then Key Storage
In Key Storage, go to TicketKeyStorage
Under Entry, choose Create.
The Key and Certificate Generation dialog appears
Enter the Subject Properties in the corresponding fields
CN=<Common Name>, OU=<Organization Unit Name>, O=<Organization Name>, L=< Locality Name >, ST=<State/Province>, C=DE. give SID of portal in CN
Give the Entry name as SAPLogonTicketKeypair.
Select Algorithm as DSA,also click on store certificate and then generate
You will see along with SAPLogonTicketKeypair, SAPLogonTicketKeypair-cert will also get generated.
Now we will have to import this SAPLogonTicketKeypair-cert in the ABAP systems
First we will have to download the certificate from the portal.
Now logon to the SAP Netweaver Portal with user administrator
Go to System Administration->System Configuration and then Keystore Administration.
In the Content tab you will find the list of certificates
We have to download SAPLogonTicketKeypair-cert .Click on Download verify.der file
To your desktop
Now we have to import the certificate in ABAP system.
Log on to the ABAP system 000 client and use T-Code STRUSTSSO2
Under Certificate, click on Import certificate
Give the path of verify.der file. The file format should be Binary
And upload it.
Now you can see the certificate has been uploaded. Check for the validity
Now click on Add to certificate to add this.
Now click on Add to ACL.
Enter System ID as the portal SID(i.e is SPQ) and client as 000 and click on Ok
Then save your entries

Send message to SAP inbox - change message CREATOR
Hi,
I'm sending a message to a user's SAP inbox using function module SO_OBJECT_SEND. By default, the message creator is set to sy-uname. I need to change this to a generic user e.g. 'SYSTEMUSER'. This is not the same as the SENDER/Author/Owner. I managed to change the sender by setting the parameter ORIGINATOR.
I referred to other forums but couldn't find any references to changing the creator. I tried passing the username via parameters SENDER and OWNER - in the Sap Inbox "document overview" the Author is set to SYSTEMUSER but the document creator in "document contents" still reflects my name.

Unfortunately Sun Java Studio Creator 2 Update 1 doesn't support 1.5 source level. But You can try to download NetBeans IDE (from http://www.netbeans.org) and there with Visual Web project You will find the same functionality as for Creator. And 1.5 source level is supported by NetBeans.

Is it possible to change the compiler that is built into Sun Creator?
I would like to compile my project to run under the JNI. I have tried to use the command line to run the javah -jni filenames but I always get errors and my assumption is that I need to change or adapt the IDE WITHOUT violating any licensing agreements to get the JNI working in this IDE.
I would appreciate any help that I could get in regards to this issue whther someone from SUN wants to comment or if any developer's have had this issue and have solved it...Okay, I just tried this. I changed the default location of J2SE JDK in the creator conf file. Saved the file.
For example:
#netbeans_jdkhome="C:\Program Files\Sun\Creator2_1\java"
netbeans_jdkhome="C:\Program Files\Java\JDK1.5.0_04"
On restarting the IDE the new path is taken. To see the change: go to main menu -> Help -> About Java Studio Creator . Go to Detail tab. You will see the values for Java and Java Home changed as per your change in the creator.conf file.

It is defined in customization that when the status is closed, no changes can be done. So by removing that customization my code works both for both closed and open charms.

The Creator of an Assigned Tasks is not Updated when Changed from Mobile Device
We have a Shared Mailbox where we create Tasks and assign them to the appropriate engineer. In Outlook, if they open and modify the assigned task, after they have accepted it of course, and then save it, a message is received in the Shared Mailbox with the
update. When that is opened and closed, the task on the Shared Mailbox is updated.
However, if that Task is updated on a mobile device, WP8.1 in this case, the creator does not get a new message with the changes. If the assigned user looks at it in Outlook, he/she will see the changes. But the originator never receives a message
with the changes.
Am I missing something or is this by design? Thank you in advance for any assistance.Anyone?

Change the Workflow creator ID
Hi All,
All the workflows are initiated with WF-BATCH in one particular client and this ID configured with US time.
But now client want the to use a new ID WF-A-BATCH(which is configured to ASIA time) for particular set of operations only.Since there is a restriction on the RFC definition(one definition per Client).
Is there any way to change the workflow ID after it triggered with WF-BATCH. So that the operations can be done with WF-A-BATCH.

Currently, we are facing the Date issue in the 2nd leg documents.
Details of the issue:-
***1st leg documents are manually created and 2nd leg documents are automation(workflows) using the 1st leg document.
Issue: - If the user in Asia creates the 1st leg (all the documents are in Asia time) and the workflow is triggered to create the 2nd leg documents. Since the workflow creator is WF-BATCH(US time), all the 2nd leg documents are in US time.
We cant change the WF-BATCH user setting, since it is used across.
Please suggest any solution for the same.

SBS 2011 GPO for changing the default save location for Word/Excel 2013 not working
So this is a strange one. I've got an SBS 2011 server that's the only domain controller in the org. I've created a GPO to change the default save location for Excel 2013 and Word 2013 using the Office 2013 ADMX files which were installed to the PolicyDefinitions
folder.
The GPO (U-Office2013 Default Save Location) only contains:
1. User Configuration - Microsoft Excel 2013/Excel Options/Save - Default file location - Enabled - Z:\
2. User Configuration - Microsoft Word 2013/Word Options/Advanced/File Locations - Default file location - Enabled - Z:\
The GPO is linked at the OU that contains my users for my SBS organization.
When I do a gpupdate /force on a windows 7 system with office2013 installed, and then run a gpresult/rsop, the policy appears to be applied successfully as it lists my GPO under the Applied GPOs list on the workstation:
Applied GPOs
Default Domain Policy dyndns.local AD (24), Sysvol (24)
U-Office2013 Default Save Location domain.local/SBSusers AD (6), Sysvol (6)
In the gpresult report, the applied settings appear under:
Administrative Templates
Extra Registry Settings

BUT, when I go to the workstation, and check office->options-Save-default file path, the path has not been changed to what the GPO is pushing.
The strange thing is that in my test environment running 2008R2 server and Win7 with Office 2013 and identical settings the default save location is applied and works as expected.
Any ideas?
I've already tried re-installing the ADMX templates and re-created the GPO's several times.
I should also note that other GPO's on the SBS2011 server such as the folder redirection GPO work as expected on the same windows 7 system. It just appears to be an issue with the default save location in office2013 and other Office 2013 related GPOs which
utilize the recently added ADMX template that don't seem to be working for me.

Thanks for your reply. I have tried several different user accounts (all have local admin privileges to the workstation) with the same issue. The default save path does not get applied from the GPO to any of the users i've tried. Here's the steps I took
per your suggestion:
1. log on as a user who has never logged onto the workstation before.
2. run gpupdate /force (entered y for yes when prompted to log off).
3. Log back in as the user and open Office and check the default save path. It has not been changed to match the GPO setting.
4. Check rsop to see if the policy was applied. Rsop states the gpo was applied successfully.
I have attached the gpsvc.log file from a the session described above. The GPO Guid in question is: {DC3C93EC-7C28-48E9-BA38-FCA1E275A207}. Its common name is: U-Word 2013 Default Save Location. It's only setting is:

Can you change the legth of time (or number of rings) it takes for on iphone 4 to time out making an outgonig call?
Mostly it's to call in for radio contests. The Iphone is really good at making a quick call, but it seems to timeout after 15-20 rings. I realise this is a small thing, but free tickets is free tickets.
Most commenst I see is abotu incoling calls, not outging.

How to change the package name of Managed Bean class
Hi: Gurus, when ever I create a new JSP page the Creator creates a code behind file with a package name untitled. Is there any way to change this package name? Can't the Creator gives us an option before genereating manged bean page to choose a package name? And then create the Java source directory structure on the basis of the pakcage name?

Rashid.In the Project Navigator (default location is middle right), go to Java Sources, and you can rename the package ("untitled") to something else by right-clicking it or by left-clicking (just like Windows Explorer).
I agree, though, that giving the developer an option during creation of the JSP page would be nice. -
How do I change the color of font in a fillable form in Adobe Reader? How can I check if the writer of the document has given permission to edit color and not just add text? Please help! I'm technologically challenged.
Most forms (99% or more) are created for simple text input, where you cannot change anything.
The creator of the form could allow Rich Text input (which allows you to change font, text size, color, etc.), but frankly I have never seen such a form, and I wouldn't know how they look. But I'm sure they would show some kind of controls to alter the text appearance. -

Sorry for not elaborating further again (This is getting to be a habit ;p).
I have the document on "international of wed dynpro application" but it appears to be more on customising the label fields to reflect the corresponding text in different languages. This is indeed a very cool idea. However, the reason why I am asking if it is possible to change the charset is because (do correct me if I am wrong)I need to display japanese and english characters and to do that I need to change the charset so that Web Dynpro can have them displayed properly. Is this assumption correct ?
I have actually log a CSN ticket on this query as well and this is the reply "...... My understanding is that with Web Dynpro Java being based on Unicode, we don't need to charset settings. One should be able to display both Japanese and other characters in parallel, automatically, without problem."

Error while changing the Resource Object Status
Hi,
I am trying to change the resource object status from Waiting to Provisioned for a self service task. Before approval I see the Resource Object Status as " Ticket Sent To REMEDY" on the administrator's web console and at the Requestor's web console I get the following error message-
???en_US.global.viewProfileForm.Lookup.Ticket-Sent-to-REMEDY???
But after approval, based on the completion the task, the process on both the consoles is set to provisioned. That is what I want to display but the problem comes when the requestors sees the error status message on its console before approval.
Can any body tell me the reason of the above error and how to resolve it?
Thanks in advancedo you have any custom written event handlers getting triggered off after request submission or during approval?
It might also be due to either a browser issue or you might have missed any entry in the xladmin properties file for a custom label/error message etc.
