Hi. I'm sick an tired of the white on cyan color in the Active Notes. Does somebody know how to change that?
I know about the possibility to select the text and change the color, but I want to set the colors by default.

The chart colors are being referred to *'palette.cxml'* file in these directories
BI_HOME\web\app\res\s_oracle10\chartsupport
BI_HOME\oc4j_bi\j2ee\home\applications\analytics\analytics\res\s_oracle10\chartsupport
you can change to your custom colors.
Restart OC4J and PS to make the new ones work..

How do I change the default color in pages. Everytime I try to copy and paste a passage, I am unable to do so because it seems that the ink is always white on white. Sometimes I am lucky and can change it using the color box in the format bar, but it's a rarity when I'm able to do it.

Software Update will only offer the combo if your system is two or more versions behind.
If you're not running the latest versions of the iWork apps & Software Update says your software is up to date, make sure the applications are where the installer initially put them. The updaters are very picky. If the location is not where the updater is programmed to look or if the folder doesn't have the name the updater looks for, it will not work. The applications cannot be renamed or moved. If you installed from the downloaded trial or the retail box, they must be in the iWork '09 (or '08 if that's what you're using) folder in Applications. That iWork folder must be named iWork '09. If it doesn't have the '09 Software Update won't find them & the updaters won't work.

when I use decorativeBox or panelStretchLayout I use (dark - light - medium) in theme but by default it be in blue color can I change this blue color to any other color?

- It means when I write a dark in decorativeBox theme I found the decorativeBox in red color (or any other color) instead of blue color.

How can I change the default fill and stroke colors for new shapes?

As you can see in the following screen recording, after I change the stroke and fill color, all my subsequent rectangles are created respecting these new colors. But then when I delete all the rectangles, choose the rectangle shape tool once again, and start creating new rectangles, they start getting created with another color I had used some time ago (and I don't know how did it become the default color).

When you have the shape tool selected you will see in the tool bar below - file edit etc a fill and stroke. This is where you can change the colours.
You can keep drawing your shapes like you did in the video but then select the rectangle and change the colour from this tool bar. The reason it changes will be because you changed the colours you were using (foreground / background) that display in the left side tool bar.

I noticed one of my friends iPad 2 had a different color scheme for apps and I would like to change my iPad 2's default ( which is currently grey). To elaborate, the default color for the borders and tabs in Safari are grey on my iPad, my friends are blue. Would like to change from the drab grey color to blue also but I cannot find a setting for this. All applications and Setup apps have this default color scheme on my ipad. You can apply system-wise "negative" color effect under Settings > General > Accessibility, by toggling the White and Black switch - and, in iCab Mobile (and some other, better browsers / PDF readers), its own "night mode" negative color scheme.
Otherwise, no, you can't do anything else except for asking third party app authors to add selectable back/froeground (=text) colors to their apps.

I have a couple calendars that will be using the overlay functionality in 2010, and chosing colors for the overlays is no problem. However the main calendar defaults to green, and then when you open any of the overlay calendars their default color

SharePoint 2010 calendar makes use of CALENDARV4.CSS file. The default location of this file is [C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\TEMPLATE\LAYOUTS\1033\STYLES\Themable\]
Search for .ms-acal-item element in this CSS file and make changes to
background-color property to suit your requirement. A trial and error method could allow you to achieve your functionality.
CAUTION: Kindly make backup of your original CALENDARV4.CSS file, before making any changes.

When I search for a key word in a PDF file viewed in Safari web page using Edit -> Find

How do I change the default work and home addresses?

I am using iCal 8.0 with Yosemite 10.10.1. I moved a month ago and cannot figure out how to change the default "home" address in the program. The same is true on my iPhone. I updated my address in Contacts to no avail. I am having the same problem on my iPhone. Pretty sure that's just wishful thinking. Microsoft doesn't even trust Microsoft, so to speak. Ever turn User Account Controls to the highest setting and then run Windows Update? Windows tries to warn about updates from their own site, through their own updater (IE), which is the ONLY way to access or run the updates.
Until Microsoft can ELIMINATE the possibility of bieng spoofed, and until we one day live in a virus free world, trust will always be an issue. Be it Adobe, or Roxio, or Mozilla, or....

we modified the line width and a few other things. You'll have to modify all the pcxml files for all the chart types you want to customize.
