Change the instance profile through RZ10

Hi ,
I chenged the instance profiles through RZ10 .
RZ10>INSTANCE PROFILE>EXTENDED MAINTENANCE>CLICK ON CHHANGE>SELCTED THE PARAMETER NAME>CHANEGE THE PARA METER VALUE>CLICK ON COPY . then i stop the instance and start the insance but changes are not refelected.

Asif,
It seems you have missed few steps.
After making chnages & copy in RZ10, you need to click on save. Then system will ask Do you want to activate the profile? Here Click on Yes & it will the update the version of profile.
As told by Joe, check those profile values at OS level & change it again if those are not changed.

Hi Experts,
The issue we are having relates more to the fact that the code we have written is changing the item category, however the status profile has already been retrieved from configuration based on the original item category and therefore the status selection that we are getting is incorrect.
Item Category A -> Status Profile PROFA
Item Category B -> Status Profile PROFB
For example we have a line item and item category A is determined through config, this then retrieves its associated status profile PROFA. However we have then coded the system to change item category A to item category B. However the status profile still remains PROFA.
We need to find a way to change the status profile assigned to the line item from PROFA to PROFB.
any quick inputs from any one please......

There is perform which moves the values to VBAP field.
This PRCTR field is stored in VBAP (i.e., SO line item table)
USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAP

Is the parameter : rdisp/bctime in the instance profile?

Is the parameter:rdisp/btctime in instance profile? I can not find it in the instance profile. if it is not writed in the instnace profile, is the default value 60 seconds?

Hi Victor,
not all parameters you will find in the instance profile.Some default ones and maintained ones can be seen.if it is not there you can manually add it in t-code rz10.

Changing the configuration profile to rolled-out iPads

I need to change the configuration profile of all the iPads that have been configured in my office due to a sudden request by the management. It's a simple checkbox that I can just tick off in iPhone Configuration Utility. However, how do I apply these changes to the iPads? Do I just update the config profile in the config utility, and it will update itself on plugging in the iPads, or do I have to do something else?

I don't think this will be a fun experience...if anyone knows of a better way I hope they will suggest it...but the profiles, to my knowledge, can not be incrementally updated...they have to be removed and replaced with a new profile. We've found you can add a second profile as long as you do it from the same instance of IPCU that it was installed from ( if profile was encrypted), but I don't believe the 2nd profile will successfully install if it has settings that overlap or conflict with the profile installed first. I've been told, and I believe that Apple is working on resolving issues like this that affect enterprise users.....if a way exists to do this in IPCU with an incremental update, I'd like to know about it as well.

Is it possible to change the display profile for multiple users at once? We would like ot be able ot add tabs and channels globally, but right now we can anly do it for once user at a time. Also, is it possible to have certain generic display profiles that all users use? like an admin profile and a tech support profile and a normal suer profile? Any help is appreciated...

Yes this possible using the dpadmin batch command.
Please check the dpadmin documentation for the batch command.
For generic display profile what you can do is create users and assign the user particular roles. The display you would be creating would be for the roles. The users belonging to that role would inherit that display profile.

On Windows, Premiere has an effect called Lens Distortion. I'm not sure what your options are on Mac. If someone else doesn't come along with suggestions for Mac, then Googling "'Premiere Pro" mac fisheye GoPro" yields some promising hits.

When I create a quality notification from the action box in transaction QM02, the catalog profile is fetched from the material master. I want this changed so that the catalog profile is
always copied from the QN being preocessed in QM02. (current QN)
I am not able to locate the code where the catalog profile for the new QN(QN being created) is fetched from the material master.
If I change the catalog profile in the material master, it works, but that is not a solution for me.
Need the exact point where I can pass in a different catalog code.
Also, I do not see the new QN number anywhere while debugging.
PS: The QN is being created from the action box in transaction QM02 and not from transaction QM01.

Need log of the users who changed the partner profiles.

Hi,
Some user has been changed partner profiles of the CUA configuration Setup.
It is displaying only Agent Name. They delete the Inbound and outbound parameters of the partner profiles created by CUA. So, I need to trace out the user who changed these parameters.
It will be appreciate if anybody can help in this issue.

I resolved this issue by deleting the partner profiles created by CUA in all child clients. And delete the Distribution model in all child clients and re-distribute the distribution model from Master client.
Now its working fine.
But I am not able to trace out the user who changed partner profiles. I checked in ST03N but i didnt get the information abt the we20. ( I am using ECC 6.0 version).
And in WE20 it is not showing any User ID who changed the partner profiles. I checked in following tables but I didnt find any changed details of partner profiles.

Take a backup of the complete ORACLE_HOME, reinstall OracleAS 10.1.3.2 and redeploy your applications will work definetely. Saves you wasting your time on something which might be unsupported.

Changing the default profile

Is there a way to change the default profile that is assigned to new users? In other words, instead of user JONES being assigned DEFAULT if no profile is specifed in the create user statement, I want to set up the database so that MY_PROFILE is the profile that is defaulted to instead? Hi Rauno,
You should definitly copy the current pricing procedure and make your changes to the copy.
The only disadvantage is that you can't mix old and new flows into e.g. the same billing document ( = pricing procedure is split criterium ).
But the BIG advantage is that all your old flows will not get inconsistent 100% guaranteed ( when you 'look' at them, or do e.g. VA02 on an old flow etc..)
