Change the license key for BOXI3.1 after installation

Are there problems if i change the license key for BOXI3.1 after installation?
(Not performing a upgrade from trial version)
Or do i have to do a re-installation instead?

Hi,
Sure you can change the license key, without re-doing a complete install of BO XI. Just go to CMC->Lisence Keys, and add your new product key.
Then you 'll see bellow, the new information about u key (CPU/Date limitation).

    I guess it is hardware key. Go to the Tcode slicense and there you will be able to find out the active hardware key. Take it!!

    I have Adobe Lightroom 5 on my Mac and Lightroom works great.  I want to do a clean install of OS X on the Mac.  That means I will have to erase and reinstall Lightroom.  I will need the license key for Lightroom.  I couldn’t find anything that says License Key, but I do have the serial number of my copy of Lightroom.  Is the serial number the same as the license key?

  • How do you change the shortcut keys for Firefox in Welsh For Mac?

    I'm using Firefox in Welsh on Mac (asking in English to hopefully get more answers), and every time I try to do the shortcut for copy (cmd+C), it hides the window (since Hide in Welsh is Cuddio, the shorcut for that is now Cmd+C). I usually forget this, and proceed with using the shortcut for copy only to anger myself when I realise that I've hidden the window.
    My question is, how do you change the shortcut keys on Firefox so then I can change the Hide shortcut and give Copy the cmd+C shortcut? I'm also using OpenOffice.org in Welsh, and they are using cmd+C for copy and cmd+H for Hide.
    Is there any way that I could do this myself? Its rather annoying for me, and its rather weird to use Cmd+X for Cutting text instead of copying.

    This could be worth a bug. It shouldn't happen that some shortcut keys get (re)used for other actions and Cmd + C should be considered as one of them.

    You can find the file cy.jar in the chrome folder in the Firefox application folder.<br />
    The file cy.jar is a ZIP archive, so you need a program that can open such an archive and edit the file baseMenuOverlay.dtd.
    I'm not on a Mac, so can't do any testing in this matter. I just downloaded the Welsh (cy.xpi) language pack for Mac and had a look in it.

  • My shortcut keys on CS6 are gone. I get a message to reinstall CS6. I would rather not go through the hell of getting the license key for Adobe. Any options?

    I get the message that my shortcut keys have gone missing.... And the message says to reinstall Photoshop CS6. I would rather burn my arms off than go through the hell of reinstall with Adobe's horrible licensing process. Please help me avoid this! I tried system restore on my Windows PC to no avail. Any solutions or downloads I might try?

    Not sure what you mean when you say "Adobe's horrible licensing process". If you have a valid license key code you type it in and you are done. The program, licensing system, checks that key against the online system and if it is valid and not installed on more than 2 computers at the same time you don't have to do anything else.
    If the version of CS6 you are using is an Upgrade version then you will need to type in a valid license key from a qualified previous version. Again once that is done and it is checked against the online license system you are done.
    As to your problem with the shortcut keys going away I "Think" that is a problem with your computer more than with Photoshop. Some how the file that holds the default and user edited keyboard shortcuts has become corrupted or you have somehow deleted it. If it became corrupted that is a Sure Sign you have a hardware problem. More than likely some type of hard drive problem, the drive might be on it's last legs, it is failing and will need to be replaced.
    One thing I suggest you do from this point forward is make regular backups of your complete system. Like doing it every week if not more. That way when, NOT IF, you have similar problem you can restore your system from the most current backup. And if it is a hardware failure, like the drive going bad, you can restore your system to that state once the hardware problem is fixed.
    If you do have a hardware problem, like the hard drive is dying, reinstalling PS won't stop it from happening again.

    If admin didn’t work, it’s possible that you might have setup a different password to login to the setup of the router when you initially set it up. Since admin and your security key didn’t work when you tried accessing your router page, the other option for you then is to reset the router. Push and hold the reset button on the router using a pin or a paper clip for 30 seconds and unplug the power cord for another 30 seconds. Once the power light goes solid, you may start reconfiguring the settings of the router.   • Captivate 6 license key for Adobe 5.5?

    We currently have two work PC's with Captivate licenses, one has 5.5 and the other has 6. This was an oversight on purchasing's end. We would like to have both computers on the same version. Is it possible for me to use the license key for Captivate 6 to activate Captivate 5.5 or is the only option to upgrade 5.5 to 6? We have found many of our clients cannot run 6, which is why we'd prefer to have both on 5.5, and don't want to pay for an older version if not necessary.

    As up to my best knowledge it is not possible to get the product key from server install.
    You could get from the development box where the product is installed.
    If you have issue with Crystal reports .Net SDK's.

    I logged in and viewed all registered products. We've uninstalled these license as employees have left and installed them on new employee work stations. I am trying to find out if we can see the license key on the end user's work station. It's a reconciliation project as we need to track the license keys more closely.
    Any other thoughts?
