Change the name of custom tab in me51n / me52n / me53n

Hi,
I have to add a few custom fields in PR item of transactions me51n / me52n / me53n. I have used the enhancement MEREQ001 for adding the custom fields. The sytem automatically creates a custom tab with the name Customer Tab for the additional fields that I have added using the enhancement MEREQ001 while displaying in me51n / me52n / me53n.
Now I have a requirement to change the name of the custom tab created for transactions me51n / me52n / me53n from Customer Data to Others.
Can anyone suggest me how to go about doing this???

Hi Avin,
you must have created a project in CMOD for this enhancement.
Go to the same project in CMOD.
Select Componenets radio button on cmod and go inside.
you will find Menu exit option on the coponenet screen.
double click on function code like +Co1( in prod order) and enter function text as your desired name instead of customer data. save the same and activate the project.
it should make required chnages.

I had the same query today and finally found the answer.
In order to change the title text or description of the "Customer Data" tab in ME23N, etc. you need to define a new text symbol in program SAPLXM06. The text symbol must be number 111 for the PO data. Make sure you define this text symbol in the language you are using when viewing the PO. I had issues with this as the original language of object SAPXM06 is not my logon language.
The standard code which picks up this text is in function module MEGUI_BUILD_PO_ITEM_PLUGIN. I could not find any documentation around this functionality.

Changing the name of the tab created using enhancement MM06E005

Hi,
Is there anyone know how to change the name of item level tab from "customer data" to our own tab name in screen exit for trans ME21N/2N/3N? Enhancement used is MM06E005.
And is it possible to show or hide the newly created tab using enhancement depending on the data displayed in tab? If so how?

No one could answer my question properly, so I decided to go the DHTML route; find the <DIV> element encapsulating the proper iView title, and then replace the innerHtml with the new title.... Ackward, I agree, but it works
It's java based, but the actual replacing is all DHTML, I will look up the code and post it

I want to add a new tab at Header level for sales transaction using transaction EEWB. However it will always have the name as 'Customer fields'. I want to change the name of the tab in SAP GUI not in PCUI.

I have enhanced the VA02 Header screen, and placed another Tab called DATA A.
Here I have two requirements
I want to change the name of the Additional Data B to some other name say DATA B
2. I have to add these two tabs in the menu Go to->Header->Additional Functions ->DATA A
Go to->Header->Additional Functions ->DATA B.
in VA02/VA03 T codes.
How can I Achieve these functionalities, please help me.

Just some small addition,
The responsibility name change could have problem if you have the resp name hardcoded in your conc program parameters, or harcoded inside your code (host,pl/sql, reports, etc). So you should change it accordingly, or don't hardcode it, instead pass the responsibility name or id from the concurrent program parameter by passing from the profile values. The recommended way is to passed the RESP_ID instead of RESP_NAME.
However if you passed on the RESP_NAME profile value it should be fine unless it is a scheduled concurrent request, you will need to cancel it and re-submit the scheduled request so that the parameter will take the new resp name.

Change the name of the BP in partner function

We are using one-time BP's in opportunity creation.
Users enter the BP number 100000 and change the name of the customer and save the transaction.
The process works fine in SAP GUI.
Unfortunately it does not in PCUI.
Neither in Overview tab, nor in Partners tab, can you change the name of the BP. The field comes read-only.
I checked the related field groups (OPP_PARTNER and OPP_OVERVIEW_PARTNER_50), but there is no read-only check.

Hi,
Please check the read-only flag set for the field group field involved here in both the transactions- CRMC_BLUEPRINT(for the standard setting) and CRMC_BLUEPRINT_C(for customer setting). In either of this you may find that the field is set as read-only. If you wish to make it an editable field, remove this setting and re-generate the layout for this field group. Also note that you may be referring to a wrong field group if it's a multi field group, you may need to go further and get all the list of field groups involved in that. I hope it helps.

Yes. Select one or more tracks (use ctrl or shift clicks to add/remove or extend a selection) then right-click or press CTRL-I to Get Info. Use the different tabs of the dialog to make changes.

How do I change the name of my hard drive which the photos and libraries are located on without having to relink and recreate folders for photos?

When I have tried to change the name of my hard drive which my photos and catalog are stored on, when I try and access the new catalog in the new destination yet still same physical hard drive it unlinks all the photos and the folder structure.
Any way to keep the photos or at least the year folders so as to more easily relink?

In the Library module, in the Folders tab on the left, do a right-click "show parent" until you can see the root of the drive.
From there, if you cannot rename the drive from there, then rename it in the OS finder/explorer. Then you just need to reconnect that one root directory or drive entry and Lightroom will do all the work for you.

OK, thanks for the updated information. Please change your profile when you can.
If you change the network name, keep in mind that any device that connects now will need to connect again to your "new" network.
On your Mac.....
Open Macintosh HD > Applications > Utilities > AirPort Utility
Click on the AirPort Extreme icon, then click Edit in the upper right corner of the smaller window that appears
Click the Wireless tab at the top of the screen
Edit/backspace out the current wireless network name and then type in the name that you want to use
A few hints....avoid using blank spaces, and also avoid using any special characters like an apostrophe, asterisk, dollar sign, etc. Keep the name short....no more than 20 characters, fewer would be better and simpler to manage.
Click Update at the lower right of the window and wait a full minute for the AirPort Extreme to restart with the new settings. You are all set now.
