Change the status of WBS from REL to CLSD.

How do I change the status of WBS element from REL to CLSD manually in the transaction CJ02.
The top level WBS element is in REL state so whenever I create a new WBS it is automatically set to REL state.
Please tell me how do I change the status to CLSD manually as this field is disabled for editing.

Hi Abhishek,
I presume that this may be the information massage. It is because you may be having your project end date (Actual finish) later in the year 2008 and you are trying to close the project before specified date of finish.

I have set an Idoc to send the invoice to a midleware called Inovis via ALE, everything is looking OK at the moment and we are getting status 18. however for some reason Inovis needs the status 06, I have not idea how to set this change.

I am trying to change the status of Internal order from Technically completed to Release. But i am getting an error that ---Status REL is not allowed (order 4564564).
We have created this order and till now zero value is used of actual budget means we not used even single amount till now for this order and we want to change the status of order from Tech to REL again.

Hello,
You can release the Order by the following method:
Go to KO02
Enter the Internal Order name
Go to Control Data Tab
There we have one screen area as Status: there we have one push button(like); click it and from there you can set the staus of the internal order to Released(or you can also change the current status of the internal order)

Workflow changing the status based some columns value

OOB workflow SP designer 2013
The workflow purpose is change the status columns from
COMPLETE to IN PROGRESS or from
IN PROGRESS to COMPLETE according some columns value.. And if the change is from
IN PROGRESS to COMPLETE
there will be change in some columns like
If alertSOP Date <= today then change the status (Columns value) from Complete to In Progress and send email to the manager (the manager email address is a column (Manager Email)
Else pause until the alert date=Today()
If the status (columns) = in progress send Remainder email every 10 days
If the status change from in progress to
Complete (BY MANAGER MANUALLY) then
last renewed Date =TODAY()
Valid to Review=TODAY() + 4 MONTH
Alert Date=today() + 5 month
and Due Date=today() + 6 months

How to change Contract Status to Release from Held

Hello SRM Guru,
We are on SRM 5.0. In our production system we have some contract (GOA) which were not automatically trasnferring to backend when we release it (After approval). They are in held status only so we transfer them by FM BBP_pd_CTR_Transfer. But in SRM still the GOA status is held. Could you please suggets how (any table) can I schange contract (GOA) status from held to release manully.

You can manually change the status of contract from held to released status using FM 'CRM_STATUS_UPDATE'. Enter your status parameters in structure JEST_INS and execute the FM.

Change the status of inspection Lot from 'Created' to 'Released'.

I am having the below scenario.
We have QM active in our plant. In the material master records we assign two inspection types '01' - Goods receipt insp. for purchase order & '08'- Stock transfer inspection. I didn't make any inspection plan (QP01).
We make a Purchase order ( say Qty=10)with excisable tax code. While doing GR (MIGO) for the purchase order, we capture and post Excise Invoice. Later, Usage Decision is done using QA11(7 qty to unrestricted stock type & 3 Qty to Blocked Stock). Later, i want to send the blocked stock to the vendor, I am transferrring the material from Blocked stock to QI stock type using MT349. But, system is showing the below warning message : 'Preparation for the quality inspection could not be comleted. -Message no. QA187'.
Please let me know how we can change the status of the inspection lot from 'Created' to 'Released' so that I can proceed further making the Return delivery to vendor using T.Code: MIGO.

Check the date of creation of task list must be prior to creation of lot.
Go to QA02
Inspection specification > Assign task list by click on Task/ specification
Go to Sample, do the SAmple calculation
Save
Check whether lot status is Rel

Sharepoint Designer - Two step List Workflow task item is not changing the status from not started to Complete

Using SPD i am creating list workflow.
Scenario: Employee submits a request . Task assign to manager. Manager can either approve/ reject. If approve then change the state column to "done". If rejected the state column to "Rejected".
Problem is "Assign a to do item" is assigning the task to manager. But after manager approves the status in the task list not changed to "Completed". Still it is showing "Not started". I dont want to manually complete the task.
Please help me for automatic process.
What i should do to change the status to "Complete" automatically after manager approval

Hi Janani,
From your description, you would like to create an approval workflow for a list. When an employee submit a request to the list, an approval task should be assigned to manager, then manager could approve or reject the request. From the request list,
we should be able to see the Approval task’s status.
Not understand the reason of designing the workflow to two steps, an approval action should be enough from my understanding. For producing, I create a list named Request list, then customize it in InfoPath form to add a Request field for stating request
content. Then add a workflow to list named Approval task, add the action of Start an approval process with administrator and make the workflow automatically start when item is added.
The image below shows the status of Adding items, Approving and Rejecting. Please check if it could meet your requirement.

Change the status profile assigned to the line item from PROFA TO PROFB

Hi Experts,
The issue we are having relates more to the fact that the code we have written is changing the item category, however the status profile has already been retrieved from configuration based on the original item category and therefore the status selection that we are getting is incorrect.
Item Category A -> Status Profile PROFA
Item Category B -> Status Profile PROFB
For example we have a line item and item category A is determined through config, this then retrieves its associated status profile PROFA. However we have then coded the system to change item category A to item category B. However the status profile still remains PROFA.
We need to find a way to change the status profile assigned to the line item from PROFA to PROFB.

I was able to change the status on the document created by other user.
