Change tiff to any format readable for premiere

I have a picture about my logo. Now its format is tiff and its background is transparent. I would like to change ita format to any format readable for premiere and keeping its background transparent. How can I do that?

everyone seems to be assuming that he will use photoshop to generate his TIFF files. TIFFs can be generated by numerous programs while PSD not as many. Also if the OP is using a rendering program such as a 3D animation tool then it might not give the same export options. If the rendering program allows to be saved with an alpha channel then it is not necessary to "save with transparency". The alpha channel IS the transparent layer. Sometimes in these cases it is good to use Targa (TGA) format as they are uncompressed and read fast. True though, some animation programs do save out as PSD format also.
And if he were saving a sequence of TIFFs or TGAs then it would work just the same, being sure to have an alpha channel rendered for each frame.

Formatting audio for Premiere Pro

I have not used Pr sense 6.5 and I am waiting on a new editing machine to be delivered with Pr cc installed. Back then I would convert music to wav,48,000hz 16 bit stereo. Music would usually come from
cd's that I ripped. My work was for private use. My video also was recorded with same settings. My question comes from reading a varied opinion on what format to bring into timeline. The manual says: To avoid conforming use audio editing software or transcoding software to convert your files to natively-supported uncompressed formats at supported sampling rates. The manual also mentions 32-bit format. With the system I have coming what would a good workflow be? Please.
My system:

the way you converted before, to 48k/16bit wav is good, as a cd uses 44k/16bit.

Formatting textfile for Combobox.dataProvider

Can't seem to find any formatting rules for array
construction through an external file.
This is what i am trying to do:
I've loaded vars into the _root this works fine. Splitted its
value for constructing an array. This seems to work fine aswell.
If I code the array within the fla in this format:

interpretate the loaded text as script, it just displays the code
as labels.

Best Training Materials for Premiere Pro?

I'm a long time pro veteran of Photoshop, but fairly new to video editing and a total noob w Premiere Pro CC (and after effects) I want to get on the fast track learning Premiere Pro and guess that taking an online video course is the most efficient path.
I don't know if there are any courses yet for Premiere Pro CC 2014, but I suspect that I can make do with a good CC course. There's Lynda.com, and the Pearson/Adobe Press/Peachpit series (perhaps others that I haven't found yet) I'm not seeing much in the way of online reviews for these. Any forum denizens have useful opinions to share?
I have only used iMovie, and GoPro Studio2. I prefer video training for general learning, with printed books (or PDF) for reference.

Premiere CS2 won't accept any format other than MPEG-1

Hi there.
The fact that i'm using an old version of Premiere isn't relevent, please do not ask me to upgrade.
I've had the same problem with the same version on my old cumputer by the end, but it works perfectly for the first couple of months. However, Pro 2 always reachs a point in his life where, like now, he becomes as stuborn as an old man, and suddenly stars to refuse any -I really mean ANY- format, with the unfortunate exception of MPEG1. Divx, MPEG2, Uncompressed AVI, DV, HDV, nothing works except this crappy MPEG1.
When I try to import DivX, it crashes. With HDV or any MPEG2, it keeps "Indexing" the file, over and over and over again. Since I work with HD Video, and have an HDV cam, you can see it's really a problem...
I tried to uninstall/re-install, repair, nothing worked.
Every other function works, including the Export, in any usual format (Avi, Adobe HD, MPEG2.....)....
I didn't find any other topic relating to my problem. I remember seeing one where the guy thought it was because the Folder was set on "Read only", but it's been the case since the very begining (the joys of Vista), and has nothing to do with the problem.

I really rarely use DivX, I only use MPEG2, or MOV files. I used DivX only for some special effect some time ago. and did a project after that that went really well (with HDV).
This is interesting, as PrPro has never handled DivX (or Xvid) well, if at all. At best, one usually got either the Video, or the Audio (the former was usually the case).
I wonder - have you installed any CODEC packs? Have you installed FFDShow? These often break PrPro's ability to handle formats/CODEC, that once worked. I strongly recommend on their complete removal.
Now, back to DivX/Xvid: I have both on my machines, and neither has ever given me a problem. I do not try to edit those CODEC's, as they are highly-compressed and are designed for delivery-only.
I'd look at things like the CODEC packs, mentioned above. Your issue is likely there, or very similar.

Sql statement substituion - any special rules for formatting the query?

I was wondering - are there any special rules for formatting the query that is to be substituted?
I am asking, as somehow I am unable to make the DSP substitute my query. I took the basesql from the server console (to make sure that I have the correct version), configured a query substitution, and well, nothing happens.
I've tried to substitute it with a modified version of the original query (where NVL(,0) is changed to NVL(,-9999)), then also with select * from dual (which I hope would generate some error), but DSP is ignoring everything...
The query is rather big (400 lines), so maybe I need to format it somehow? I've noticed that in the docs (http://edocs.bea.com/aldsp/docs25/admin/server.html#wp1049919) that the query used in the example has all leading spaces removed. I've tried that, but DSP is still not doing any substitution...
Any suggestions welcomed...

I am doing everything as in edocs, retrieving from logs the basesql (so with place holders). I've removed all new lines (so the query is now in a single line) and all excessive blanks (so all double/more blanks replaced with a single blank). Still the DSP is like ignoring the substitution. I've tried to do it even with a simple query, like:

I've tried removing blanks around = signs (which from the DSP pov results in a different query), sitll with no results.

Is there any way to control or change the email notification format delivered by iBots? I have created an iBot to deliver the scorecard report to the team with type chosen as 'Attachment (HTML)' option. With this definition of iBot - notification being sent in MIME HTML (.mht) format. Due to some security settings at my email client - the attachement gets quratined because of .mht format. So, I am looking for an option to send the notification only in HTML (.htm) format with which I don't have any issues with my email client?
Any help is really appreciated.

Can Premiere Pro CS5 save in format readable in 32-bit CS4?

I work on machines in various locations and laboratories and carry all of my output around in a portable HD. Some of the systems I work with have CS5, and some have CS4. Is there any way to have Premiere-Pro CS5 save a .prproj file in a format that can later be edited in CS4?

So my options are:
Create a new Apple ID, use that and lose all the apps I've purhcased with it (a fairly substantial amount)
Somehow Migrate these purchases over to a new Apple ID
Apple let me change the primary ID for the account
Anyone else ran into this before?
I've tried accessing the mail through a mail application using the correct server information, and trying both the old 6 character password and the one I had to change it too after they updated the security guidelines - neither work.
Help would be greatly appreciated as I can see more services down the line not working without the address being verified!

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. When you do this you may find that the password for your old ID isn't accepted. If this should happen, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, you need to temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You should not need to verify the old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

You don't need iChat.
It should not be on there at all.
If the iCon in the DOCK looks like this then it is linked to iChat 4.
You should be able to Right/Control click that and get it to "Show in Finder"

How to change both start and end dates for an business event (or any object

Hi all.
We are in the case to change the validity dates for several business events in training management.
The special point is that both, start and end date, have to be changed.
In example, business event 00000001 is valid from 2010.01.01 to 2010.01.31 and shoud be "moved" from 2010.05.01 to 2010.05.31.
So if i run RHBEGDA0 report to change start date first, it doesn't work propperly because new start date is bigger than old enddate.
Next thing we thought is to change end date first, using RHGRENZ1, and then change the start date, with the report RHBEGDA0. Problem with this solution is that a business event duration shoud be calculated taking care of free days (weekends and day ofs).
Is there any better solution for this?

So, i have bad news for you : you'll have to rebuild again.
Meanwhile i have excellent news for you : there's an online tool made by Johannes Henseler called Sidecar xml which builds the necessary xml file for you, sort of what you find in the Digital Publishing Folio Editor website, but saves it in your Folio folder.
Next time you import all your folder (with that file), it will place all the necessary information, and even reorder the articles.
Build once, play many times.
