Change time out period

Hi all.
SRM 4.0.
How long does the SRM have to be inactive before the user is logged off - and how can this time be changed?

Hi,
You can make the settings on SPRO--> SRM > SRM SERVER> TECHNICAL SETTINGS> SET CONTROL PARAMETERS> SPOOL_LEAD_INTERVALL--> define the timings.
Award the points for help.

  • New ipad mini retina cannot select "never" for time out period. It makes the product useless for such things as navigation and frustrating for reading

    Must add the never option to the time out period or the product is useless for navigation and other purposes where continual use is required.

    This should be an option in the General settings on your iPad. The option is called Auto-Lock. There should be the following options: 2 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, and Never.
    If you select Never, that should stop the screen from going to sleep automatically. If the Never option is not present, you more than likely have a Exchange account synced with the device that does not allow that option. If that account is disabled, that option should show.

  • Is there any way to increase the time out period?

    Hello,
    Is there any way in Apex 4.0 to control how long the time out period is for when a user logs in?
    Thanks,
    Mark

    Go to Application ->Shared Components -> Edit Security Attributes , take the "*Session Timeout*" section
    The Maximum Session Idle Time in Seconds field is what you are looking for.

  • How to change time out settings in Analytic Provider Service...

    ... or how to disable automatic disconnect between APS and essbase server (using XMLA interface).
    First a short summary:
    We would like to use a third party product to analyze data (DeltaMaster from Bissantz). This product uses the XMLA interface provided by Analytic Provider Service. Mostly the connection works, I can choose one of our cubes, sometimes a drill down is possible, but sometimes the following error occurs:
    "Microsoft.AnalysisServices.AdomdClient.AdomdErrorResponseException: (1042006): Network Error [10061] Unable To Connect To [entwgdw.hres.de:33769]. The client timed out waiting to connect to the Essbase Agent using TCP/IP. Check youer network connections. Also please make sure that Server and Port values are correct [...]"
    I have already talked to the Bissantz support concerning this issue and the recommended me to increase the APS time out settings and/or to disable the automatic disconnect between APS and essbase server after every query.
    The question is: Is this possible and if yes: How and where can I change these settings???
    Kind regards
    André

    You could look at updating the essbase.properties file in the APS installation directory.
    olap.server.netRetryCount=600
    olap.server.netConnectRetry=3
    olap.server.netDelay=200
    olap.server.netSocketTimeOut=200
    Update then restart APS
    Though this might not be the issue if on windows, it may be down to the amount of ports being used, have a read [here |http://timtows-hyperion-blog.blogspot.com/2007/12/essbase-api-error-fix-geeky.html ] for a possible fix.

  • High number of "The connection has timed out" errors. Where do I set the time out period (variable and file name) - windows 7

    I usually use a wireless network at home and have very few time out problems with Firefox.
    I am travelling and using Optus Wireless broadband where the average ping to a site is 700+ms .
    I suspect that this is the cause of the high number of timeouts I am experiencing.
    Optus say there are no problems so I think I will have to set the timeout to a longer period.
    Please advise what variable name/s (and in which file) the timeout is set for LOADING PAGES.
    Thanks in anticipation.
    Greg Atkinson.
    By the way the same is happening in IE8
    and on many sites other than the Yahoo one below.
    ================Full Error Page ==============
    URL is http://au.mg4.mail.yahoo.com/dc/launch?.gx=1&.rand=81jkv757qfdqt
    =========================================
    The connection has timed out
    The server at au.mg4.mail.yahoo.com is taking too long to respond.
    * The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
    * If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
    * If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

    Having the same problem 4 out of 5 times I try to navigate to a new site I get the error "connection has timed out".
    My I phone works fine on the same wireless connection so it must be something to do with the computer. The problem occurs on IE, firefox, and google chrome.
    I too would like to know how to how to either fix this problem or failing that to extend the length of time before the connection times out (which is currently only about 5 seconds).
    Please help!
    Thanks in advance

  • Hammer USB HD timing out.  How to change time out value?

    Hi:
    My new Hammer USB 500 Gig portable hard drive does not mount. USB probe log gives these error message:
    33.929 [1] AppleUSBEHCI[0x177d800]::Found a transaction which hasn't moved in 5 seconds on bus 91, timing out!
    68.941 [3] AppleUSBHub[0x17a4400]::TimeoutOccurred error
    The drive mounts on an iMac running Mac OS X 10.5, but neither Finder nor Disk Utility can see the drive on my Powerbook running 10.4.11.
    Hammer tech help says the drive takes as much as 7 minutes to mount. I did notice that it took some time on the iMac.
    Any ideas? Can I change the time out constant somehow?
    By the way the drive requires more than 500 miliamps to start up. I have a double USB cable that does bring the drive up, but my Powerbook won't mount it.
    Thanks,
    Carl Carlson

    Hi Carl, and a warm welcome to the forums!
    Self powered USB drives are a big problem, I think the only answer is a Powered USB Hub.

  • Changing time-out for scheduled data refresh

    Using a Power Query connection, is it possible to extend the time-out time for scheduled data refreshes? The amount of data to be retrieved is rather limited, but there's thousands of rows (NAV server).

    Thanks.

  • Change time outs / delays on Zen Touch interfa

    I think it would be a good idea if the timings in the interface could be changed...
    How long before the menus exit and go back to the 'Now Playing' screen.
    scroll speed, and how long before text starts scrolling.
    I get the 'Now Playing' screen, before some of the entries have had time to scroll so I can read the title, hence wanting to change the timings.
    It's something that might be possible to put in a future firmware update perhaps?Message Edited by RickDawson on 0-0-2005 07:57 PM

    I completely agree, and something that could be offered across all the players.

  • Time-out limit of the 8451-I2C interface for hold-master condition

    I am working with Windows XP, Labview 8 and the USB-8451 I2C to USB interface-box.
    We intend to incorporate the USB-8451 into our product evaluation kits for a new sensor product.
    This evaluation kits should be used by our customers when they start working with our sensor products.
    The I2C-device is a digital sensor which generates a hold-master condition with difference length, depending on the sensor configuration.
    The hold-master is produced by the sensor after full transmassion of  start-bit, address, read-bit and ACK.
    After the hold master is suspended three bytes can be read by the master.
    If the hold-master is kept by the sensor for 25 ms or less I have no problems. When keeping it significantly longer the interface seems not to work properly anymore. I don't get a LabView Error-Message but the PC (Windows?) creates a 'ding-dong' sound very similar to disconnecting and connection a USB device. (the 8451???). My LabView-Program does not show sensor data after this.
    I can imagine that the hold-master is somehow too long for one element in the system.
    Is there any time-out period for hold-master defined for the USB-8451?
    How can I change it to higher values?
    Thank you very much for your support!

    Dear Member,
    That's right. If somebody encounter this problem again.
    You should contact your local NI branch that will install the new firmware
    version (that works with the last driver version)

  • OPA Interview Session Time Out

    Hi
    Could anyone please let me know about the duration of an OPA Interview Session(Investigate web service)? i.e. how long the session stays active before it times out?
    Is there any configuration variable that we can use to extend the time out period?
    Thanks in advance,
    Christa

    Hi Christina,
    The default web determinations timeout is set to 30, you can modify the setting on your local embedded tomcat server by editing the web.xml file located in the release folder of your project \Release\web-determinations\WEB-INF\web.xml
    http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/apps-tech/policy-automation/documentation/opa-10-3-0-inst-guide-455680.pdf
    Specify a Suitable Session Timeout Period
    The session timeout is controlled by the application server, so you will need to consult the
    documentation for whatever server you are deploying to. For example:
    Tomcat
    On tomcat you need to go to the web.xml file in <tomcat home>/conf and find the lines:
    <session-config>
    <session-timeout>30</session-timeout>
    </session-config>
    Change '30' to whatever you want your timeout to be in minutes. Restart Tomcat.

  • Session time out in Application server -reg

    hi friends
    We have Oracle Application server 10g in cluster mode in our organization. We are using Oracle Forms and Reports . But there is one issue. If the user keeps the screen idle for more than 20 min the system gets timed out and requires sdba authentication . We actually increased the time out value. But we could not able to remove sdba authentication. Our aim is to remove authentication after session time out. It is ok even if the application completely closes and comes out of the screen. But the user must not be asked to enter sdba credentials after system is idle for the time out period.

    Hi,
    you posted this question to the JDeveloper forum, where it may be better posted to the application server forum or the Forms forum

  • Read Time Out Exception while generating PDF Document

    Hi,
    We are working on Netweaver 04,Patch SP 16 and trying to generate a Non Interactive PDF on ADS Version SP 14 for printing purpose (Eg.Invoice). This extracts data using EJBs. We used Interactive Form UI element which has various sub elements like static image, etc.
    We are using Acrobat Reader 7.0 for generating PDF.
    The form fetches the records and prints perfectly in the Development System, While creates a 'java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed
    out ' Exception in Production.
    Time Out period for web service container is set to 180 sec in both Dev and Prod.
    Default trace in the production is continously throwing following  error."com.adobe.document.XMLFormService#com.adobe/AdobeDocumentServices#com.adobe.document.XMLFormService
    Thread[XMLForm.exe Error Reader,5,SAPEngine_Application_Thread[impl:3]
    _Group]##0#0#Error##Plain###Service XMLFormService: Native process
    (PID=0) /usr/sap/NWP/JC00/j2ee/os_libs/adssap/XMLFormService/bin/XMLForm.exe terminated abnormally with error code 127# "
    We are running following services in both Prod and Dev for using ADS.
    1. IIOP Provider
    2. Data Manager Service
    3. Data Font Manager Service
    4. XML Module
    5. Document Services Configuration
    6. Document Services License Support Service
    Could some one please  let us know what could be the problem?
    Thanks And Regards,
    Apeksha.

    Hi Markus,
    Thanks for the prompt reply. However, SAP notes 867502
    and 811342 speak about PDF manipulation services, which we are not using in our application. We need to create non interactive form which simply reads the data from the DB and displays it to the users for printing.
    The other 2 notes-826419 and  849851 talk about SP 10,11 and 12, while we are using SP14 for Adobe Services and SP 16 for Netweaver Java Stack.
    The application works perfectly on the Development Server, but not on Production Server. Though all the configurations are same on both the servers, still can you suggest what all things need to be considered ?
    Thanks and Regards,
    Apeksha

  • Transaction Time out in BPEL

    Hi All,
    About my issue ,
    A legacy system written in PL/SQL procedures written to process huge chunk of data ( kind of adapter which processes more than 2000 files each invoke updates some tables , which takes around 6 hrs to complete ). and we are trying to invoke those pl/sql procedures to integrate the system with SOA(11G).
    We have developed a BPEL communicating to DB through DBadapter ( invokes the required PL/SQL procedures ).
    All BPELs used are asynchronous processes . wanted to know how the DB Adapter works . is it a good practice to make the BPEL wait for the pl/sql procedure to return (Though BPEL process is a Asynchronous one) .
    Please advice me on this .
    Cheers
    Vamsi

    Vamsi,
    I believe configuring Pick activity will not help in this case. If you are configuring a DB adapter in a BPEL process then between the invoke and DB adapter it is a sync call. So try increasing transaction time out period through admin console and let me know the results.
    Another option is, remove all activities and services from main BPEL after invoke activity (of DB adapter) and create another BPEL and create the removed activities. Create a concurrent program to invoke the PLSQL procedure and at the end of the procedure call the end point url of the second bpel and send the out variables to this bpel.
    Hope this helps
    Thanks

  • System I/O Operation Time-out

    I am running iTunes 6.0.5 for Windows. When I try to sync to load about 200 songs on my iPod nano (1st generation)I get the error "The specified I/O operation on drive G: was not completed before the time-out period expired."
