I am trying to find out what inpact if any changing the AXL service providers during production will do if any?  We are running uccx 7.01 SR5 with a single UCCX node

It won't affect the production like calls receinving or routing calls to agent. but if any agent try to login that time or some one else making any change for UCCX side will be affected. Because any change or login goes thru AXL api to ccm.

  • How to change the sender's name/email-id in the scheduled report

    Hi,
We have SCOM 2007 R2. In the Reporting tab (SCOM Console), we have some scheduled reports. I need to change the sender's name/email-id in a scheduled report. When we receive the report through email, receiving with the person's name who moved out of the
    team.
I tried to change but could not find the option to change while editing the properties in SCOM Console under Reporting -> Scheduled Reports.
When we are receiving mail from that scheduled report, instead of an individual name, would like to provide a generic name. Please help me out. Let me know, if you need more information.
    Thanks,
    Naren.
    Thanks & regards, Naren.

    Hello,
the SCOM scheduled reports feature rely on SQL Reporting Services. So, if you would like to change the SMTP configuration, you should go in SQL Reporting Services Configuration Manager:
Open in the Start Menu, Reporting Services Configuration Manager.
In the connection window, click OK.
Click on the tab E-mail settings.
    Change the Sender Address.
    Click Apply.
Alternatively, you could also change in the Scheduled report properties the field
Reply to. I think it should customize the reply address for each scheduled reports, but I have never used it. Anyway, doing it with Reporting Services Configuration Manager is more interesting in the long-run.

  • How to configure a Office 365 email on SAP BI 4.1SP05 server to send scheduled reports by email ?

    Hi All,
I am trying to figure out how to configure office 365 server on BI platform so that I can send scheduled reports by Email.
    Below are the system details:
    SAP BI 4.1 SP05
    Microsoft Office 365 Email account
I referred to the SCN post for configuring gmail.
I could easily configure my gmail account.
I tried same logic with Office 365. Instead of using port 465 (for gmail) I used port 995 (for office 365).
    That didnt work.
I also tried using port 587 for TLS authentication but that doesnt work either.
SMTP Link for office 365:  smtp.office365.com
For simplicity purposes, I have opened all the ports on the firewall and server.
Please let me know if I have missed anything or if my whole approach is incorrect ?
I am open to suggestions and workarounds.
    Thanks,

    Hi there,
When the order is saved, the system will call the mail ID maintained in SU01 of the user.
It will then trigger the mail to the regular outlook mailbox.
Else in some cases a new Z table is defined to maintain the mail IDs. System will trigger the mail through outlook. It has that inbuilt capability.
Just ask your user to check his mail box to see if he has received the mail.

  • Changing an email address throughout the Enterprise on schedule reports

We will be changing our email address from fsc.edu to fitchburgstate.edu.
I have been told I need to manually change this address for all scheduled reports on the Enterprise.
Is there an easier way to do this instead of going into each report?
    Thanks!

    SDK = Solution Developer Kit
E.g.; you need a developer that knows .NET to create an application that will do the task.
To develop a BOE/CRServer XI R2 .NET application you need the Enterprise .NET SDK. You have to get this from the Enterprise installer.  Launch the BOE/CR Server XI R2 installer and choose Server Install - not Client Install.  Choose a Custom install.  You'll be presented with a drop down list for the Enterprise components.  Deselect everything and then look for the Developer Components option.  You may have to drill down into one of the levels to find it.  Under Developer Components you'll see the BusinessObjects Enterprise .NET SDK.  Select it to install to the development machine.  This will allow you to work with the Enterprise .NET SDK on your VS2005 machine.
You can install the .NET SDK using the Client Tools option, however it installs much more than you'll need (e.g. the publishing wizard, etc.).  The Client Tools option can also miss a couple of key DLLs and assemblies.  The best path to follow is the custom server install path outlined above.
When you're ready to deploy your .NET application you will also need to install the .NET SDK onto the Web application server as well. This is because we are not fully managed by the .NET Framework.

    Hi Joe
The HRC scheduler runs on the client PC, so if I recall correctly it has to be left on and logged in in order for the schedule to run. If it's off, then you might get this error to notify you that the reports haven't run at the off-peak/evening time that you specified, so there may be some CPU impact.
Is the PC left on at the scheduled time?

  • Schedule WLAN configuration changes using CPI

I need to make some configuration changes to a WLAN on our controllers after hours, yet I cant figure out how to do it.  The controllers are running v 7.3.101.0 (5508s & 2504s), CPI is version 1.3
When I go to Configure > Scheduled Configuration Tasks > WLAN Configuration I get the following message
No saved task exists.  You can schedule WLAN task for required Controller from " Configure > Controllers > COntroller IP > WLANs > Wlan configuration" page.
When I go there I dont see any options to schedule a change.  When I make configuration changes to a WLAN and click save I get a warning messages that leads me to believe that the changes will be effective immediately.
    Am I missing something?

Please go to the below link and and see Configuring Scheduled Configuration Tasks. It will help you.

  • Scheduled report name

    Hi,
We have made a custom report for UCCX8.5, which we'd like to schedule. This report can only show the details of one CSQ, by selecting a CSQ filter. Because of this we'll need to schedule a new task for every CSQ. Here the issue arises: when I look at the scheduled reports overview, all reports have the same name: The name of the report. This makes it impossible to see which scheduled report is which. So it'll be really hard to delete or add one later.
Is there a way to change the name of the scheduled report task?
    Regards,
    Ruud van Strijp

This is one of a few scheduler-related limitations of the HRC. Another is that the machine running the client must be running and actively logged in for the system tray-based (i.e. not a windows service) scheduler app to trigger.
My advise on this one is to upgrade to the latest 9.0 build where you can switch from the legacy HRC client to the new Unified Intelligence Center (CUIC) reporting engine. This is a browser-based UI and was ported over from UCCE so now both products have the same reporting engine. As luck would have it, you can name the schedule when you create it with CUIC:
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cust_contact/contact_center/intelligence_suite/intelligence_suite_902/user/guide/CUIC_BK_R4B100EB_00_reporting-app-user-guide-902_chapter_01000.html
With that said, you'll have to redo your custom report by spinning up a lab instance of CUIC Premium (not bundled with CCX) so you can create the report definition. Once you have that, you can import it into the embedded CUIC Standard instance on CCX and be good to go. The SQL stored procedure process remains unchanged.
In case you're inclined to dismiss this advice, note that HRC is EoL. In 9.0 you can pick one or the other but it's gone entirely in 10.0; CUIC only. So, it's only a matter of time before you have to cross this bridge anyways.

  • Scheduled Report Failing - Don't Know Why

I'm trying to re-create a scheduled report on CMC that had gotten deleted. It ran before (sometimes multiple times...) but at least it ran. I'm duplicating all the settings for this report based on how they were before, but every time I try to get the report to run, it fails.
I don't know enough about this to be able to embed any kind of error messages in the e-mail notifications we get. All I know is that no matter what I change/tweak/adjust, we get an email saying "This report has failed to run."
What kinds of things should I be looking at to troubleshoot? I know the report itself is fine, as users can view it normally (as in, through other viewers). There's definitely something specific to the scheduling process that is not correct, but I don't know what to look at.
Here is how the scheduling is currently configured:
    Schedule > Main Tab
    -Run Weekly, Tues - Sat
-Start Date: 10/01/08, 8:30 AM (I originally set this up yesterday, so today at 8:30 should have been the first time it ran, but instead it failed)
    -End Date: 10/01/18, 12:00 AM
    -Number of retries allowed: 0
    -Retry interval in seconds: 1800
    Schedule > Notification
-Email notification based on: a job has failed to run
-Message: Report failed to run. Scheduled Report: %SI_NAME% - %SI_STARTTIME% What other codes can we put in this message, BTW? I've been trying to look for something to return error codes, but %SI_OUTCOME%, %SI_STATUSINFO%, and %SI_ALERT_MESSAGE% don't display anything, they just print on the email
    Schedule > Destination
    -Destination: Email (SMTP)
-Clean up instance after scheduling is checked
-We have "Set the values to be used at schedule time here:" populated with our list of email addresses for recipients
-Attach object instance to email message is checked
    -Specified file name: %SI_NAME%%SI_STARTTIME%.%EXT%
    -Add extension is checked
    Schedule > Format
-Format: Microsoft Excel (Still fails if we choose Excel Data Only or Adobe Acrobat)
-Use options saved with report is checked (Still fails if we deselect this)
    Schedule > Schedule For
    -Schedule only for myself.
Could really use some help here, as I don't know what in the world could be causing this to fail. Thanks in advance.

First thing is to forget all the complex configs and just try to schedule the report to run once now, no alerts, no notifications, no nothing.
    Does that work?
Then you can build up the schedule, to see where the problem is coming from.
    Sincerely,
    Ted Ueda

  • Crystal Reports Server - Scheduling Report Exports

    Dear Experts,
We are using Crystal Reports Server XI Edition and we would like to schedule report exports. Crystal Reports Server configuration console allows us to automate report exports but apparently we could not find a way to pass report parameters and formulas from any export management tab. Naturally, each report needs to take different parameters but to our knowledge CRS management console does not have a screen that prompts us to key in or to read dynamic report parameters and formula. It simply uses the default report parameters. Can you confirm this please?
To overcome this limitation, we are thinking of developing something like a script that directly interacts with CRS. The script would pass the name of the report, the report parameters and other relevant details like CMS username/ password.Do you think this is possible and if yes can you please point us to the key APIs required for scheduling report exports?
My sincere thanks for your assistance.
    Kind Regards,
    Joseph.

You are able to change the parameters for the report within the Central Management Console under the processing tab before scheduling.
Here is some sample applications that you can refer to in regards to doing this using the api:

  • Printer change of a recurring report

How do I change the printer on a recurring report?  I have changed it in the printer setup on the process tab but it does not seem to pick up the change.

You'll have to configure the printer on the report template, and schedule the recurring anew.
Once the recurring schedule is kicked off, it retains the setting when it was started, and not any later changes you make to the template.

  • Problem changing ISE backup schedules

    Hi -
I had configured our ISE running v1.2 (patch 5) to run weekly backups for both the Configuration and Operational data via the GUI.  This initial setting worked flawlessly.  The issue I am seeing is that I now cannot change the frequency of these backups.  The GUI allows me to change the settings and reports no errors doing so.  The GUI even displays the new schedule (daily in this case), but unfortunately I still end up with it performing the backups only weekly.  Has anyone else experienced this and/or have a suggestion what to look for?

Hi - thanks for the reply.
So, do I understand you to mean that you are stuck with the very first backup frequency you set in the GUI and can not ever change it later?  That sounds very odd to me.
You say "You  can create only one schedule at a time..." - that is ok, but the key was "at a time".  I simply want to change what I have now from weekly to daily.
By the way, I can change the backup starting and ending days in the GUI calendar without any problem, but within the timeframe I specify (one month for instance), I still get only weekly backups after I change the frequency to daily.

  • Can we cancel the print out of a scheduled report?

Suppose a report is scheduled and configured to printer.
We want send a cancel command to the printer.
    how can this be done?

    Hi Sriram,
Once you send any request to printer it will take it into printer buffer.  You can't pass any command to cancell the printer buffer.  You will have to go in printers and cancell the print job.
If you switch off the printer also the print que will wait till the printer comes in ready mode.
You will have to change the configuration of the scheduled report.
    Hope this will help you.

  • Business Objects 6.5 Scheduled Reporting

    Hi,

I would like to get this report scheduled and auto-save it as csv file on my hard drive instead of me running it everyday and manually save it.
I really appreciate it if anyone out there can help me on this.
    thanks a lot.
    Cheers,
    Silva

    Hi Silva,
The only way is to have a .rep or .wid report and use the Broadcast Agent Scheduler module.  However, Broadcast Agent schedules as .xls and not .csv format.
However, two options are possible to get the csv file generated:
    - write a script that  refreshes and saves the report as csv, attach this script to the report (.rep) and schedule it.
    - schedule the report as xls, and then use a script to convert to csv
Note that you will be able to set the scheduling frequency when defining the scheduling details.
Below is note proviing a modele of a script.  You need to adapt this modele to suit your needs:

  • Ssrs scheduled report

    Hello,
Users are using a report daily which has two parameters:
    @Date and @clientName
The users run this report for different month-ends manually...
This report is now scheduled to run on the 10th of every month at 2:00 am. with th efollowing parameters:
The @Date is set for the last day of the previous month.
The @ClientName is always the same. i.e. @client1
The way I have scheduled it is, say today is 21st July 2014, I placed the date 30 june 2014 into the @Date parameter.
    Question:
Instead of me typing the date for the @Date parameter, i.e. 31 june 2014, how can the report do this so that it knows what @Date parameter to use when it automatically runs.
If I do not manually change the @Date parameter, then for the following month it still uses 31 june 2014 but I have to manually change the scheduled report and enter 31 july 2014 for the next run and so forth.
Remember that I do not want to change the format of the report because the users run this report too and they use different dates.
    Any suggestions please?

    Hi arkiboys,
According to your description, you want the report can auto type the last day of the previous month as the @Date value, rather than manually type the date. To fix this issue, we can type the last day of the previous month with expression as the default value
for the @Date. Then it automatically runs with the default date based on the date, without manually modification. For more details, please see:
Edit the report with Report Builder.
Right-click the @Date parameter to open the Report Parameter Properties dialog box.
Click Default Values in the left pane.
Specify a value with the expression below:
    =dateadd("d",-day(today),today)
Users can change the date for the @Date parameter to others based on their region when he view the report.
    Hope this helps.
