  • Unit of Messure issue

    Hi, All,
    I have a question on Unit Messure. What happened if Unit of Messure in General View is different the Unit of Messure in Purchasing View in Material Master Data? Can I change Unit of Messure in Purchase Order? Then do a goods receipt in different Unit of Meesure? In Info Record, Unit of Messure can be covereted? Then during procurement process automatically converted?

    What happened if Unit of Messure in General View is different the Unit of Messure in Purchasing View in Material Master Data?
    Base Unit of measure is same ,only you can give ordering unit in purchasing view
    Can I change Unit of Messure in Purchase Order?
    If you change unit of measure while creation system will automatically converts qty according to your ordering unit
    Then do a goods receipt in different Unit of Meesure?
    I think you can't.System will automatically post as stock keeping unit maintained in Material master.
    In Info Record, Unit of Messure can be covereted?
    You can give ordering unit.If you create Po with respect to info record system will pick UOM from inforecord.
    Then during procurement process automatically converted?
    UOM automatically converts as per data maintained in material master automatically.
    Hope this would help.

  • Base unit of messure

    Hi expert
    i have a raw material with base unit of messure in kg which was assigne in BOM as kg
    but recently one vendore supllying the same material as base unit of messure in meter
    Now i want to change the material base unit of messure as Meter how it is possible
    i have stock in kg aroung 50,
    Faisal

    We can add  alternative base unit of messure in bom?
    Dear You should create BOM componenets in Base Unit of measure or Unit Of issue.
    In case of BOM component maintain Unit of issue as meter in plant data storage location view In Material Master and add the   Item in BOM-CS02.
    Cheers

  • How can i change unit of measurement in sales order on header

    Dear all,
    I have material master with base unit of measurement " Ea ".
    I have to take unit Pc in sales order.
    how can i change unit on header in sales order.
    i changed unit on line item in sales order by setting in sales unit field in material master.

    Hi,
    You can very well do it, please do the following steps,
    Go to material master and select the Sales Org.1 and 2, here maintain the sales unit PC and
    it will ask you for the conversion, so maintain your conversion for PC to EA. Then maintain
    the Division, delivery plant, material pricing group and account assignment group(if not maintained) and save it
    Now create the sales order for that resp. material, you will find that system will pick up
    the sales unit which is maintained in the material master's sales orgnization tab.
    For this you need not to change at the header level of sales order
    Please check and revert.
    Thanks,
    Hrishi

  • Error when changing unit of Issue in material master

    Hi,
    When i am  trying to change Unit of issue in Qualitymanagement view of  a material using MM02 transaction, we  got error message - "The unit of issue cannot be changed because the material is used in a BOM-------Mesage no. M3214"
    Can anyone suggest what is the reason behind this. ?. how to avoid this error.
    Thanks in advance.

    HI Aditya,
    "The unit of issue cannot be changed because the material is used in a BOM-------Mesage no. M3214"
    The reason is that material is used as a component in BOMs with the present unit of issue as a unit in the bom line item.Unless you change that bom line item unit to its base unit ,system will not allow you to change the unit of issue in QM.
    First check in which BOMs the material you were changing is used as a component.this you can do in transaction CS15.
    then change the unit of measure used for the material in bom line item to base unit of measure.if one only one BOM is there change in CS02.if more BOMS are there do mass change in CS20.
    Then try to change the unit o fissue.now system will allow you to do the changes.

  • Shopping cart not emitted to the right manager cause change unit

    Hi guys,
    We did a shopping cart , unfortunately the manager assigned is not the good one , the status is 'Awaiting approval' ,the requester is not linked to  the same unit of  the manager's one.
    We would like to redirect his shopping cart  towards the good manager linked at least to a different unit.
    The requester has changed unit.
    Is it possible for a given manager not related directly to the requester to redirect the shopping cart  he is not the recipient to another manager in his own workplace.
    Thank you in advance for your answer.
                       Best regards Mahmoud

    Hi Mahmoud,
    If you are using a BAdI - BBP_WFL_APPROV_BADI then incase if your workflow doesn't find any approver, you can append APPROVAL_ADMINISTRATORS table.
    In this way, you are direct your SC to administator's approval.
    Your code will like this -
    <i><b>IF approval_table[] IS INITIAL.
    if no approver found because send sc to default administrator
    ls_approver-approval_index = actual_approval_index.
              ls_approver-approval_agent = 'USMAHMOUD'.
              ls_approver-name = 'Mahmoud Mahmoudi'.
              APPEND ls_approver TO approval_administrators.
            ENDIF.
    ENDIF.</b></i>
    Please reward few points, if you find this useful.
    Regards.

  • How to change price total for "Change Unit Cost Estimate Screen" for KKE1 Tcode ?

    There is a requirement of bringing the Material Price in KKE1 while entering the Item Catogory M ( M for Material) from the Gross Price in the condition type (P001) that is entered in the Purchase order.Currently systems brings the material value from MAP(Moving average Price) in the Material Master data.
    I have looked into the user exit 1) EXIT_SAPLKKEC_001 2) EXIT_SAPLKKEC_002  available in this T code KKE1.When I put break-point in these user-exit,it is not going in debugging mode while fetching the price value in Price total column  for "Change Unit Cost Estimate" screen in KKE1.
    How will change pricing condition for material in KKE1?
    I want to change price condition for material  as marked in red as shown in the screen-shot.
      Where will write the code such that I will bring Price Total based on material number as shown in the image?

  • Changing units before making a document

    While specifying pages size I want the units to be inches or millimetres according to my choice. How can I do it? I know changing units after the document is made but is there a way for a prior setting?

    With no document open go to Preferences, then click on Units & Increments. You can also toggle through available units by pressing Command Option Shift U. There is not much feedback to tell you that you are changing anything, but some panels will change. The Control Panel has a field for the size of corner effects. The units there will change as you toggle through available units using that shortcut.
    Here it is with Pixels selected…
    And after one press of Command Option Shift U…

  • Discount is being updated when changing unit price in SO after upgrade

    Hi there,
    Customer recently upgraded to version 8.8 from 2005.
    They encountered a few transactions where discount is automatically being updated when changing unit price in SO.
    Customer created SO by duplicating existing SO. Then change the Unit Price in the new SO.
    For one item, the price after discount does not get updated correctly. Instead,  system seems to have automatically created the discount.
    So far, I can't reproduce this issue yet.
    Is this a bug? Please suggest.
    Thanks,
    Yadana

    Thanks for the replies.
    I have checked and there is no discount setup for the Price List or BP.
    The Price List has been set to the correct one as well.
    Please advise.
    Thanks,

  • How to change Unit for Breakdown Duration in Maintenance order.

    Hello,
    In cuni, somebody created Unit "TST" by mistake, system can not convert it to "second" for calculation automaticlly.
    "TST" make no sence. So if maintain "TST" as Unit for Breakdown Duration in a maintenance order, dump will happen. However there is a maintenance order maintained Unit for Breakdown Duration as "TST" saved by mistake, Dump will happen when I try to access to this order by IW32 to change the Unit for Breakdown Duration. Is there any way to change the Unit for Breakdown Duration"TST" to "H" so that I can access to this order by IW32.
    Thank you.

    Hi,
    You could temporarly adjust the CUNI definition for TST so that it can be converted to seconds. Adjust the notifications to set a valid unit of measure.
    The alternative would be to update the field MAUEH in table QMIH with a valid breakdown unit of measure.

  • Met problem to change unit of measure in material master

    Our prime made mistake when creating material master with MM01. He used wrong unit of measure EA instead of right one M. And when he recognized this issue and tried to change it with MM02 in view Basic1, system prompt him an error message that "Standard cost estimates for the current period already exist".
    So, please help to let me know how can I delete related records about cost estimates and avoid this error. Thanks a lot.

    Robbie,
    You can delete Cost estimates using T-code:  CKR1 , I am not sure if you can change UoM if you have any goods movements  on the material. The best option would be create new material with correct UoM and transfer stock from old Material to New one with proper Conversion.
    Thanks

  • Change unit cost AP Invoice line based from a Goods Receipt PO base entry

    Hi,
    Im using SAP B1 2007A PL 46 with B1DE 2.0
    SCENARIO:
    (1) I have a goods receipt PO that has a line for an item with a quantity but 0 unit cost.
    (2) At a later stage, via DI, I create a AP Invoice and set the line BaseType, BaseEntry and BaseLine to point to the goods receipt from step 1.
    REQUIREMENT:
    When creating the AP INV, I would like to change the unit cost for the line to something other than 0. I find however, that because I have based the AP INV Line a base document, I cannot override the line price for the line before calling the APINV.Add() method. After calling the APINV.Add() method, the APINV Line still has the price of 0 even though I set it, for example, to 100. (see example below)
                        docAPInv.Lines.BaseType = (int)BoAPARDocumentTypes.bodt_PurchaseDeliveryNote;
                        docAPInv.Lines.BaseEntry = GoodsReceiptPODocEntry;
                        docAPInv.Lines.BaseLine = 0;
                        docAPInv.Lines.Price = 100; //NEW PRICE            SEEMS TO HAVE NO EFFECT
                    int res = docAPInv.Add();
                    if (res < 0)
                        Success = false;
                        ErrorReason = B1Connections.diCompany.GetLastErrorDescription();
                        break;

    Hello,
    If your system is installed as 2007 (no upgrade from 2004/2005)
    -> use the UnitPrice instead of Price field.
    If you have upgraded from 2005/2005 versions,
    ->You can choose between the UnitPrice and Price fields up to the Customizing settings.
    See SAP Note 1334050

  • Prevent change unit of measure on a component in an order

    Hello,
    Is it possible to prevent the user to change the unit of measure (UM) in the component of an order.
    What I need is the unit of measure from the material master without the possibility to change it.
    Thanks,
    François

    thyagarajan,
    By default, the system displays the Unit of issue entered in the material master. If none exists, SAP display the Base Unit of Measure.
    The problem we're facing is when many units exists in the material master.
    Example: "EA" Each and "DZ" Dozen is defined in the Mat. Master, with obviously defined as 1 dozen equals 12 each.
    If a user enters 1 "EA" in the ORDER but the Unit of issue is in DZ, the Procurement side will see that they need to buy 0,08 DZ wich is impossible because material is sold by dozens...
    We need to prevent the usage of smaller unit equivalent on the order side.
    What do you suggest?
    François
