  • Changing standart Web page for attaching documents

Hello. Is there anybody who used BADI RSOD_ITEM_DOC? This BADI is for changing web page in attaching documents in Web Applications.

    Hello Rakesh,
you enter the CRM WebUI using a specific CRM business role (with assigned role configuration key). Typically a copy of SOLMANPRO. Then you open a specific change document. E.g. an urgent correction of transaction type ZMHF. If you now open the View Configuration the entry is highlighted that matches best to the combination of role configuration key, component usage, object type and object subtype.
    Excample:
    First copy configuration:
You enter CRM WebUI using business role ZSOLMANPRO. To this business role configuration key ZSOLMANPRO has been defined and assigned.
Then you display an urgent correction.
Then you enter the UI configuration.
Now you copy the standard configuration:
Role config. key   <DEFAULT> to either <DEFAULT> or (if it shall be specific to the used business role ZSOLMANPRO) the respective assigned one ZSOLMANPRO
    Object type AIC_OB_CMCD -> AIC_OB_CMCD
    Object Subtype SMHF -> ZMHF
    Do the required configuration adjustments
    Save
If now someone is using business role ZSOLMANPRO and opens a ZMHF transaction this specific configuration will be pulled (and also will be highlighted if you then open the configuratin again). If you open a SMHF transaction still the standard configuration will be pulled (and highlighted if you then open the configuration).
According to your screen shot I would assume that you opened the configuration out of a SMHF transaction and not out of a ZMHF transaction.
By the way: on your screen shot you can see that for several entries the flag Standard Configuration is set at the same time as the flag Customer Configuration - that is the case if the standard configuration has been changed without having it copied before.
    best regards
    Jens

  • How to change the web page title of a web dynpro app?

    Hello,
I would like to change the HTML page title of a web dynpro application without renaming the application component itself - but how?
    Thanks for your comments!

    Hi M Walter,
Assuming you are using Web Dynpro Java, you can change the title of the Web Page for Web Dynpro App by adding the title to the main window of your app.
Go to Windows and open the properties. There will be a field called 'title'. Give the title you want, save, build, DC->Build and deploy.
The title you gave to this Window will be displayed as the title of your Web page.
    Regards,

  • Archive Web Page for Off Line Use

    Hi all,
I'm currently enrolled in an online music program where I have to review/study web pages for my course instruction. These pages contain standard HTML text, graphics, mp3s, multiple flash applications and quite often embedded quick time movies. To date to back these pages up I have physically printed each page and then discretely downloaded and saved all mp3s, flashes, and quick time movies. However, as I'm sure you can guess, this leads to a very disjointed "archive" of paper product, separate quick time movies, and flash applications. So here's the question:
Is anyone aware of an archive utility that will save a web page like above in it's entirety onto my mac for off line use? I have seen a few web archive tools like I'm looking for, but all appear to be for Windows or older versions of mac OS. So any direction would be much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Rick.

    Hi
    Welcome to Apple Discussions
Give this utility a try. The way this works. After you install the app. in your Applications folder, open it. A panel appears.
Then go back to Safari. Open the web page you want to archive. File>Save As. When the panel opens make sure the drop down menu is set to "Web Archive". Then go to the location where you saved that page. Move the web archive file onto the Utility's panel. This will create a folder with the various web components for that web site.
Also, either update your tag to your current version of OS X Leopard, or if 10.5.2 is correct, consider upgrading to 10.5.5 via Software Update.

  • I cannot open my comcast mail since they changed their opening page for inboxes

I have always been able to access my Comcast email inbox UNTIL Comcast changed their opening page for email. When they changed their opening page, it now shows just a portion of your new email and you have to click on "View Entire Inbox" to actually read your mail. I can navigate to this page, but when I click on "View Entire Inbox" it simply gives me the exact same page and will not allow me to view my entire inbox. I phoned Comcast and they said it is an issue with Mozilla. I can still view my email via Safari. Any ideas? I miss Mozilla! I hate Safari!

Yeah, Comcast didn't bother testing that new interface properly with Firefox, so it is a "Mozilla problem". They did the same thing two years ago with the last major re-design of their web mail interface, but they fixed it a little faster then.
The Xfinity Connect Lite interface works properly in Firefox 6.0, so you need to open Preferences > General near the top of that page and switch to the Connect Lite version. See the screenshot below.

  • How can I change the default page for a book?

I have a book that contains six pages. One of the pages contains the login portlet while the others contain account specific information that a user can only see if they are logged in. Currently, I have the default page set to the login page.
I am attempting to write a backing file for the book that will esentially change the default page for the book to be one of the other pages if the user is already logged in. In effect showing a logged in user their account summary page instead of the login portlet.
I can't seem to find a way to change what page the user is shown with the book and page context classes. I can hide the login page, but this leaves the user looking at a blank page. Unfortunately I can't use entitlements, otherwise this would be easy.
Does anyone know how to "forward" to another page from a backing file?
    Thanks,
    Sam

    Got it!
In your backing file you'll need the following in your handlePostbackData method:
    BookBackingContext bookCtx = BookBackingContext.getBookBackingContext(arg0);
    bookCtx.setupPageChangeEvent("PageLabel");

  • HT201317 How do I create a web page for my slideshow?

I created a slideshow.  I exported it, so now it is in my iTunes...and where else, I admit I do not know.  When I exported it, I didn't understand where I was exporting TO.
Anyway, I know I saw somewhere that I can create a web page for my slideshow that will allow my family to come (by invitation) to view the slideshow.
    How do I do this?
Any help will be appreciated since I spent about 12 hours putting this show together and now would like to share it with my family.
    Thanks!
    peace.

That's done with iPhoto in creating a Shared Photo Stream with the video. The slideshow must be in iPhoto. Then follow the steps in this screenshot:

  • Do Web pages for phones have to be Apps?

I do not own a mobile phone that is web enabled, and I never designed a web page for phones, but now due to the steep learning curve, I need a quick fix.
Reading the help in Dreamweaver 5.5, there is lots of information about creating the best  mobile sites, though at the moment, I don't understand a lot of it - but that's my fault.
However, when I use someone else's phone to look at most existing sites that are just designed for computers to view, the phone has facilities that make the sites available.
Lots of zooming and such which is a pain, but you usually can view them.
It occurred to me that perhaps there is a position mid way between a stock web site and a fully fledged phone app could be a stop gap solution until the whole mess of media queries, and other phone related stuff is understood.
My suggested solution is as follows:
Provide seperate sets of pages for both types at suitable sizes ( max 320 wide for mobiles).
Keep all graphics for phone pages to a minimum size and well optimised to allow for quick page loading.
1.On the index page of the site, put a large link to the phone pages and one to the computer pages so that its easily seen by phone users
    2. Design the index page and all phone pages so that the content would fit on a 320 pixel wide screen.
    3. Have the first page after the index purely as the menu screen, with a list of links.
    4. Each link leads to a deck of stacked pages that that are serially linked back and forth, with a "return to first page" on each one, with the navigation being at the bottom (or the top?) of the page.
To view pages, the phone user would have to select the phone link on the site's index page, then select from the menu to get to the first page of a topic. He can then flick through the linked set of pages and go back to the menu from any. The pages would fit most mobile phones, and no phone specific stuff wopuld be needed.
I appreciate that this method would not provide the most sparkling of mobile web sites, and would require two sets of pages, which is a maintenance problem, but it ought to help phone users to surf my site until I can get up to speed with the mobile stuff.
Question is - would it work?
    Your comments please?

Frankly, if you simply do a website using HTML5, you're set for a mobile device. And Dreamweaver 5 and 5.5 both give you code-hinting and definitions for HTML5/CSS3.
jQuery would be the "app" side of that, though if you are really looking to make an application that works on a mobile phone, your best method is to do it in Flash and then compile it using Air. Adobe has a complete discussion of what's required here.
    Hi mhollis55
Could you tell me why you describe the jQuery mobile framework as an app?
The framework uses html5, css3 and ARIA, and is designed to make the creation of mobile friendly web pages easier for those who do not wish to commit themselves to learning all the mobile specific features required by modern smartphones and now even supports many of the older smartphone devices, see - http://jquerymobile.com/

  • Making a blackberry web page for my business

Can I make a blackberry web page for my business off of my 8330 or do I have to use a desk top version of the internet to make a web page? I would really like it if all things that are capable on a desk top were allso capable on my 8330.If anyone knows if this is possible let me know.

All things are not possible on a the BB that possible on a PC. That is why it is a mobile device, and not a PC. Something just require a PC. The BlackBerry doesn't replace a PC totally.
I don't know of any web editing applications used on the BB. There could be, i might have missed it, but I really don't think so.

  • Firefox 8.0 will not load web pages for multiple Windows XP users

We're running Windows XP 5.1 SP3 with two user accounts. After upgrading to Firefox 8.0, Firefox will no longer load web pages for the second user when the first user is logged in and running Firefox. (We typically use "Switch User" as opposed to logging out when taking turns at the computer.)

I guess that was a possibility
I gave up on version 8
I uninstalled it, googled version 7 and installed that and now it runs fine when I switch user to user
Thanks for the help I'll take it into consideration if I update again

  • Single open tab, Click "x" to close, browser defaults to a web page for my bank. How can I change to "blank" or some other page?

Have a single open tab. Regardless of the website active in that tab, if I close it (click "x"), FF shows my bank's homepage. I'd prefer not to display my bank homepage. How can I change to another page or, preferably, a "blank" page?
This happens regardless of the page current when I close the single tab and after I close and restart FF. Haven't tried rebooting computer.

  • Web page for iphone in iWEB

A good enhancement to iweb would be to have a model to make a mobile-friendly web site. Somebody knows whether this is in the plan of Apple to provide framework in iWeb to make a web page adapted for iPhone and other smartphone?

Jacques ~ Welcome to the Support Communities. We're just users like yourself here — so we don't know what Apple's plans are. Alternatives to iWeb adapt their site content to smartphones, e.g.

  • Why even use this web page for anything?

THIS FORM IS FOR SUGGESTIONS.  MY SUGGESTION IS NOT TO USE VERIZON'S WEB PAGE TO DO YOUR CHANGES OR BILLING... I HAD A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH VERIZON AND USING THIS PAGE FOR CHANGES TO MY ACCOUNT.  I NOTICED THAT  I WAS GOING TO BE OVER ON MY MIN. AND I ALSO ADDED A BLACK BERRY PHONE.  I LOGGED ON TO MAKE THE CHANGES.  I EVEN TALKED TO A SERVICE REP ON THE MESSAGING TO CONFIRM THAT MY CHANGES WERE MADE.  AFTER MY BILLING CYCLE WAS UP I NOTICED THAT I MADE AN HONEST MISTAKE AND MY BILL WENT FROM 154 TO 270.  I CONTACTED VERIZON AND TOLD THEM THE ISSUE.  THEY CONFIRMED THAT I WAS LOGGED ON TO THE CITE AND TALKED TO A SERVICE REP ABOUT THE CHANGES.   I ASKED IF THEY COULD BACK DATE THE BILL AND THEY WOULD NOT.  I WOULDN'T USE THIS SITE ANYMORE AND AS SOON AS MY CONTRACT IS UP I'M OUT OF HERE! GOOD CUSTOMER MEANS MORE TO ME THEN ANYTHING ELSE AND I FEEL LIKE I WAS TOTALLY BLASTED BY VERIZON ON THIS ONE.

If you made a mistake and did not set the options on your account correctly, it is not Verizon's fault if you owe overages or other charges as a result.  You should call back, and if you're lucky, you may get a rep to reduce the bill for you, but in general, Verizon does not correct mistakes made by their customers.
