Change value in send mail :

Hi Friends..
Is it possible to change the email address value during dynamically in send mail step.Because in my PO.After sending mail to first person..The PO got rerleased in level 1.after that again i need to send the mail to another person.after that he will release the PO.So i need to change the send mail step value dynamically.
is it possible or any other solution.
1)workflow step like this.
start>sendmail>po release>release step>completed.
2)in two level approval execution happen like this.
start>sendmail>po release -->release step -->sendmail --> po
release -->release step -->completed

Hi Arghadip thanks for your reply..
In my case need not to enter value.Depends on the PO release strategy the workflow is pick the approver..in the same way workflow needs to send a mail to that person external id with the message "you have received PO in your SAP inbox" in case release strategy contain two level.. first i need to sned the mail to first peroson after he approved then only it will goes to second person..
This is my scenrio..

When i execute my program in foregroung by manually changing value of s_job = 'X' in debugging mode it is sending the correct XLS file via mail with all the data , whereas when i execute my program in backgroud mode it sends incomlete XLS file via mail, it has only first 2 records in any layout........can anybody please help in this regard....

Take a look at the documentation of FM 'SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1' for parameter PACKING_LIST. I think you should set t_packing_list-head_num to a different value than 0 for the second attachment.

Open the Calendar app, open the event, tap Edit and change the Alert times.

Personal data change in PORTAL (PA30) - need to send mail notification

Hi,
When there is any change in personal data on PORTAL need to send a mail notification to the respective agents. I was able to design the workflow in such a way that , whenever there is any change in the personal data (Ex. Marital status) it trigger an event and workflow starts, inturn it send mail to external system and sap Userid.
The question is ?
1. If the personal data is changed from the portal , does it trigger the same event in the backend ? does
it start my workflow?

Sending mails even after changing the rpd.

hi,
i have successfully created the functionality of ibot, conditional ibot and chain ibot.
i can see the report in the mails.and everything is working fine now.
If i want oracle bi to send the mails (to let the ibot run ) even when i change the repository by making changes into instanceconfig.xml and NQSconfig.xml, will that be possible.
for example
i have created a repository Employee.
which point to my oracle 1o g server named emp_server.
I am using the employee_data schema out of it.
which sends mails to employee which are there.for exampel abc, xyz.
Now i want to create another ibot which would be different server in different schema and will be using different mailing list.
i can do this by making changes in the instanceConfig.xml and NQSconfig.xml and can create ibots which will shoot mail to my manger list.This is also working fine.
Problem is if i make change in above file my oracle BI will point to second rpd and mails from first rpd will not work.
Can i make changes so that both the mails should work.of employees and manager too.

so that, all subject areas presents in single repository..
this is common to merge different rpds, for every project. So that you need not to change each time you change the rpd...
and all reports works fine... with single rpd..

Is anyone else having trouble sending mail? I have a MobileMe subscription - not sure whether that is the problem. The Port assigned to my mail account on my iMac has a different number for the one recommended by Apple, but I hesitate to change it.

Is anyone else having trouble sending mail on an iMac running 10.6.8. I get a messsage that the server can't be accessed. Apple help suggests using a different port from the one that was originally set. I have a Mobile Me account. Any suggestions?

I had major issues with the iPhone 4s battery, however it’s resolved.
The tech who set the phone up at the Apple store did so with little training.
if you have a mobile me account. First go and move all your data to the cloud by going on your computer and logging in at me.com/move. The cloud has replaced mobile me, so there is no need for those two accounts
Also make sure that for any of your email accounts you set them up to fetch, not push. My tech person set them all to have the email servers push data to the phone. The new iphone4s antenna is extremely strong so it will continually try to access stuff that is pushed–***** a lot of battery life doing this. It makes it worse if you have exchange 2010 accounts. Something about changes made to exchange really suck battery life from devices that access such accounts.

If you are on version 3.0 or greater then it would be possible to do something with dynamic recipients in a publication. You would write your main report to return the data with no conditions on it.
You would then write a report which returns a list of users who have past there threashold value. The publication would use this report to determine who should receive the report. To do this you would have to write a little app to get the users threashold into the reporting database.
Failing that you would have to write something using the SDK

I am using send mail step type to send mail . in this mail i want to send data of multi line container element but it is writing only one line item even though my container element is holding tow line items. so how to process all line items of multi container element in a mail. please suggest me......
do i need to use loop until step ?

i tried with the same now but in the mail it is not showing me any value instead it si giving me <po_items > not found.
po_items is the name of my multiline container element and i am simply using these po_item in mail.
please tell me what to do......as its urgent.....

Hey There I didn't need to change it as it shows my correct name in my icloud account. The problem is on my Mac where it still shows my Full name as my partners name.
For eg. if I send an email from "Mail" on mac and I use my icloud account then the name that shows up is my partners name when the email is received. If I send an email from the Icloud Mail box that I log into on my browser then the name that shows up when the email is received is my name which is correct.
When I go into preferences in "Mail" on my Mac to change my name, the name is ghosted out and doesn't allow me to change it ! ? It is here that it still show my partners name ?

Is there a BADI, Customer Exit or something else that allows me to send a mail to the project manager if the budget was changed in transaction CJ30?
A project member changes a budget in a subordinated WBS-Element for example. The project responsible has to be informed about that.
I don't mean availability control.
I've thougt about an workflow too. But I found no business object or an event.

U can try below soltuion.
If you have configured SAP connect ( Tcode : Scot ) , you will be able to send mails from yr SAP system.
Then you can decide whether you want change the standard program to trigger the mail while the budget is changed or schedule a custom program which checks whether budget has been changed and triggers a mail to concerned people.

Cant send mail Keeps on changing outbox

Apologies if this has come up before,but i am really lost.
i am trying to send mail on a POP accout.
incoming on POP.mail.yahoo.co.uk
Works fine
But.....it keps on saying the following....
CAN't send the message using the server pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk
Use the pop-up menu below to try a different outgoing mail server. All messages will use this server until you quit Mail or change your network settings.

If this were the correct name of your outgoing server, it is spelled wrongly -- should begin with smtp and NOT stmp, which may be what you mean by wrong, but I am not sure what you are reporting.
Have you tried removing all SMTP server from the list available under Outgoing Server settings, and starting afresh?
