Change variant SAP&HVOM

Hi,
I need to apply OSS note 384956, which involves changing variant SAP&HVOM for program ppio_entry.
The problem is that the variant is protected, and I am therefore not allowed to change it.
I already tried using program RSVARENT to unlock the variant, but the variant doesn't seem to be stored in table VARID.
Does anybody know how I can apply the note?
Thx!

Please look at SAP note : 80526
"Protected variants can only be changed by the creator or by
the user who last changed them.If you want to make these
variants globally accessible again, use report RSVARENT."

  • Update manager in IdM automatically when the manager changes in SAP HR

    Hi Experts
I have been given a requirement where the manager of a user in IdM should be updated automatically when the manager changes in SAP HR.
The HR extraction job is currently in place and runs every 30mins.
Please could you give me some ideas on how to implement this.
    IDM 7.2 SP 6

    Hi Deepak
I have been discussing this a bit more in detail with the client. So, the issue is as follows
When a new/replacement manager is hired
When people are moved from one org unit to another
The scheduled extraction job (RPLDAP_EXTRACT_IDM with a variant with the delta tick on) does not update the new manager info in IDM for the relevant users who report to that manager. The client has to run the program (RPLDAP_EXTRACT_IDM with a variant with the delta tick off) manually each time for the affected users which updates the manager info successfully in idm.
I investigated the query LDAP_IDM_QUERY from user group /SAPQUERY/L1 and want to know if the below should be ticked as well. Your thoughts please?
    Please advise.
    Thanks

  • Variant SAP&MEPOKONT of program AQZZ/SAPQUERY/MEMEPO========== is not the c

    hi guys,
I am getting the following error when running transaction code ME33K:
1.1     Variant SAP&MEPOKONT of program AQZZ/SAPQUERY/MEMEPO========== is not the current version
    Message no. DB634
    1.2     Diagnosis
You attempted to start report AQZZ/SAPQUERY/MEMEPO========== using variant SAP&MEPOKONT. Since this variant was generated, the report SELECT-OPTIONS or PARAMETERs have changed considerably, i.e. the type or length no longer match and PARAMETERs have become SELECT-OPTIONS or vice versa. Many of these changes are so serious that even attempting to import the variant results in runtime errors.
    1.3     Procedure
    Adjust or delete the variant.
HOW DO I ADJUST OR DELETE THE VARIANT?

SAP has provided a couple of standard programs that handle this automatically:
    RSVARDOC                       Rescue obsolete variants
    RSVARDOC_610                   Rescue obsolete variants
We just upgraded to 4.7 and have run RSVARDOC_610 a number of times. In earlier versions, we used RSVARDOC.
This is documented in OSS note 65343.
This program can be reached from the standard ABAB menu:
SE38 (enter your program name) and click the "Variants" radio button. Press "Change".
    On the variant screen:
    Variants->Adjust.

  • Report RNOTIFUPDATE01 and Variant SAP&WORKPLACE

    Hi all,
in Solution Manager I scheduled report RNOTIFUPDATE01 with variant SAP&WORKPLACE.
Following the F1-help and also note 781163 using this variant the report should only replicate/create messages to/in Sol Man which have not been closed yet (status "Solution Confirmed" or "Confirmed Automatically") at Service Marketplace.
Unfortunately using this variant I got many many old messages in Sol Man now. Messages which have SAP status "Solution Confirmed" and Sol Man user status "Sent to Support". Beside the fact the report did not work correctly (or I did misunderstand something) is there a quick way to get the messages to user status "Confirmed"?
Report CRM_SOCM_SERVICE_REPORT is not working here.
    Thanks in advance.

I found tables CRM_JCDS and CRM_JEST which contain the status i need to change (user status and system status in both tables).
Does anyone know if there is a report to perform changes on these tables?

  • Reg: If changes done in SAP BO Analysis office, then Changes can be done in SAP BW in respective targets. But, is it possible to do the same changes in SAP ECC? How?

    Hello Everyone,
If any changes are done in SAP BO Analysis office, then the change can be done in the SAP BW in the respective Targets.
But how can we do the changes in the SAP ECC ? Is it possible to do the changes in the tables ?
    Any answer is appreciable
    Regards,
    Karteek

We are using the "Input ready Bex query", in order to modify the values in "BO Analysis office".
    ECC               BI               BO Analysis office
    1  ------------->   1   ---------->         1   ------
                                                                            |
                                                                            | (Now Data is changed in Analysis office from 1 to 2)
                                                                            |
    (?) <--------------   2 <----------         2 <-----
(Will it be updated in ECC)
    (Diagram Explanation)
From ECC we can load the data (Consider Value-1) to SAP BI and from SAP BI we can load the data to BO analysis office.
So, now if we change the data in BO Analysis office (Value-1 changed to Value-2)..
Now the data is changed in SAP BI to Value-2.
So what about the data in ECC ? Whether it is changed or not?
Please provide us a real time business Scenario..
    Thanks,
    Karteek

    Hi
How to see the MM invoice changes in sap ?

    Dear Prashant,
When ever we perform LIV and is blocked for payment (due to price variance or other variance) is stored on table RBKP_BLOCKED
Now when we release it through t. Code MRBR that time its get deleted from RBKP_BLOCKED
So you can always track it :
Go to ->SE16 ->Enter table name CDHDR -.>Table contents (F7)
    In the selection screen enter
    OBJECTCLAS as INCOMINGINVOICE
    OBJECTID as =Invoice no+year (e.g 51056066022011 where is 5105606602 invoice no 2011 is year)
    TCODE as MRBR
    ->Execute
You will find the details when it was released  Date ,Time, User ID etc

  • MOPatch bpmig.sh Structural Changes in SAP Bundle Patches

Structural Changes in SAP Bundle Patches New!
As of June 2014, there is a change in the internal structure of the SAP Bundle Patches (SBPs) for Oracle. While this has many benefits, applying the new SBP for the first time requires special handling. For more information, see the hot news SAP Note 2011199.
When looking at note 2011199 I found due to the changed structure and to identify stand alone patches it is recommended to run the bpmig.sh script.
To avoid these problems or to detect them before actually installing this SBP, you must run the bundle patch migration script bpmig which is delivered with MOPatch 2.1.16 and later.
The script comes up with an error message:
Cannot determine SBP version from "SAP Bundle Patch 11.2.0.3.2 - 201205".
opatch / mopatch semselfs seems to function properly...
    Any clues?

    Hi,
Please check the following SAP Note 2032109 - Executing bpmig.sh shows "Cannot determine installed SBP"
    Thanks.

In addition, what are the actual physical field or option changes that will take place. (I know one is tax, which will affect tax juristicion input, acc in or out for balance sheet fields within FI)

This is a very open ended question. In general all the changes are within FICO currently (GL, AP, AR, Assets are the biggest). SAP R&D is currently looking into  enhancements within MM/SD to include New GL functionality.
From a field change standpoint, the biggest that come to mind are:
    - Ledger field can be input in FI postings (FB50L) to book to specific ledgers in New GL
    - Segment field, which can now be used for dimensional reporting.
Most of the fields stay the same, it's the nature in which they are treated that changes (biggest change: PROFIT CENTER if splitting is activated, GLPC* tables go away and move to the *flex tables).

  • How to changes  standard sap label description

    Hi !
I heard that there is a way ton change standard sap label description.
Please tell me how to do this ?
    Thanks
    moshe

    Hi Solman
You can do that using the method i have mentioned in
my earlier post to change the descrptions. Mostly these
will be used for Product Attributes in Material Master
to give meaningful names as per our business. You can
find the same if you go through the documentation
    following the below path
    IMG -> Sales & Distribution -> System Modifications ->
Create New Fields( without Condition Technique).
Here check the documentation of "Reserve Fields in the
    Customer Master Record"
Hope that can help you understand better.

To customize any Business package DC's, you need to configure NWDI, deploy your BP, get the configuration to your local NWDS, then import the DC's to your local NWDS, make changes and then save.

  • IP Change on SAP Servers

    Hi,
The purpose of this question is because our company is moving the main headquarters to another plant and we need to move the site, and this also includes the SAP Servers to another location.
So we need to change the IP addresses for every SAP Server that we have.
    We have the following architecture:
1 SAP application server defined with hostname SAP-APP (Production system). Operating System is Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition with Service Pack 2.
1 SAP DB Server defined with hostname PRODUCCION (Productive DB). Database is MS SQL Server 2000 with Service Pack 4 and Operating System Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition with Service Pack 2.
1 QAS and DEV Server with a local Database defined with the hostname QAS_DEV. Operating System is Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition with Service Pack 2 and the database is MS SQL Server 2000 with Service Pack 4.
We do not use Print Servers or IP Printers on SAP, we use default printers for every user, using the SWIN: Windows printing via SAPlpd.
Our SAP Version is SAP ERP Central Component 5.0.
    Notes related.
And then, we checked the related notes and topics on market place for changing an IP address to a SAP Server and found the following ones:
Note 403708 – Changing an IP address.
Note 88346 – Changing the RFC destination if IP changes are made.

    Hi,
you are not changing the SAP System Host name, you are only change the IP address SAP Server.
for that you are only worried about the RFC destination which are created using IP  address of host,
you need to change those RFC and assign correct IP address.

  • How to revert back User Management  changes with SAP ep6

    Hi,
While implementing sso for R/3 with sap EP, we did some changes in SAP System of UM configuration, after that we are not able to login with existing super user.

  • Changing Standard SAP messages

    Hi all,
is there any way to change the SAP Standard messages like user authentication failed, account locked etc.......
    Regards,
    Sithi

    Hi Sithi,
You can search the texts within *.properties files and modify them there (restart the portal afterwards). Anyhow, this is a modification and the texts will be overwritten with the next SPS, so the mods have to be re-done (or save your modified *.properties files and copy them over - but in this case, it could be that there are new (or corrected) entries within the new properties files which then you would miss).
    Hope it helps
