Change vertical size of audio widget box in 2-column layout?

The vertical size of this audio widget is just too big.
If I grab one of the square adjustment handles I can
drag it a little smaller, but that reduction always reverts
back to its prior size after I navigate away from the page
and return later.
The excessive size looks clunky.
Is there a way to change some internal code to make the
default vertical bounding box of an audio widget smaller?
I have no need to add text to the box.
Among other topics, I explain in a short video Intro how to play
the audio files in the Chapters that do contain audio.
I am forced to use a total of nine audio widgets in this one Chapter
because the audio widget stops playing if the user moves
to the following page before the current audio file finishes.
I wish Apple would fix the bug
that stops audio if the page gets flipped too fast.
(I have formally made that request)
Thanks.

I kept playing around with it and I think I've found a work-around that's good enough.
I reduced the bounding box both vertically and horizontally as much as possible using the adjustment handles and pushed it all the way to the left of the column.
Then in the "Wrap" section of the Inspector, set the Object Placement to "Anchored" and checked the far right icon (wrap only above or below) after activating  "Object causes wrap".
So far, a much smaller box that appears to withstand coming and going from different chapters and then back again.

    How do I change text size in a check box in CS3?

    While I've never done it myself for a checkbox, components
    have a textField property which is essentially the texfield inside
    the component. You probably need to apply a TextFormat to it to
    change the size.
    But if this involves the same problem you had yesterday,
    where you couldn't change the width of the checkbox, I doubt you'll
    have much luck changing the text size

    picture size...in putting together a book I can move photos onto a page and enlarge the picture but is there a way to reduce the picture size? some cases I want a smaller picture and if I change the size of the picture box I only get a portion of the image. I want to reduce the image to fit the size of the box.

    If you right click on the image on the page in the context menu select photo box alignment and then select one of scale to fit {centered, Left-aligned, Right-aligned}
    That should do what you are loking for.

  • Changing the size of a widget?

    Dear Friends,
    I found a cool hack to drag a widget on to your desktop,
    http://www.askdavetaylor.com/dashboardwidgets_on_my_mac_os_xdesktop.html
    but the widgets are rather large to keep open all the time. Does anyone know how to change the size? I am specifically using iclip lite.Thanks for your help
    G4 cube   Mac OS X (10.4.6)

    It is generally possible to edit the appearance of
    the widget- the background is normally just a .png
    that can be edited in any image editor. Where you
    will run into a hassle is changing the geometry in
    the .css file to have it match your edited background
    image.
    To get access to the files, select the .wdgt file,
    either in HD/Library/Widgets or
    HD/Users/~/Library/Widgets and 'Show Package
    Contents' from the contextual menu.
    Dear Mike,
    Thanks for your help.

  • How can I change to size of a book and keep all the layouts I have created?

    How can I change the size of a book and use the layout that I have already chosen (I accidently laid the book out for a larger size book than what I acctually wanted)?

    Just in case of problems duplicate the book (select it and edit ==> duplicate or Command=D) and then click on themes and select the same theme in theprper size - verify that everything worked (sometime different sized text blocks cause minor problems that require attention) and preview it -
    Before ordering your book preview it using this method - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1040 - and save the resulting PDF for reference - the delivered book will match it.
    then order

    Hi:
    I am using the "Milano Resume" template. I've taken your suggestion to widen the margins, and I've added the vertical ruler on the side, but is it possible to "stretch" the main "box" of the template vertically?
    I ask b/c I want to enlarge the font size to 10 pt., but in doing so I'm running out of room at the bottom and my text is being pushed onto a second page.

  • How to change the size of the text box in "Notes"

    Dear All,
    I am trying to change the text box size of that is used in the Notes section. Currently the displayed size features 5 rows, I want to increase it.
    I tried to increase the starting and ending Row numbers in the UI configuration, but it still stays the same size!
    Anyone know how to resolve this problem, we really need it !
    Thanks.
    Best regards,
    Rohit L.

    FYI: We were able to resolve the issue by changing the GETTER-method of the attribute LINES in the component GSTEXT:
    method GET_P_LINES.
      CASE iv_property.
        WHEN if_bsp_wd_model_setter_getter=>fp_fieldtype.
          rv_value = cl_bsp_dlc_view_descriptor=>FIELD_TYPE_TEXTAREA.
        WHEN if_bsp_wd_model_setter_getter=>fp_textarea_rows.
          rv_value = 16.
      ENDCASE.
    endmethod.
    Hi Gerd,
    could you resolve your issue?
    We try to do the same and just adding "rows" does not work for us either.
    Thanks and regards,
    Stefan

  • How to change font size in new text box

    Using Acrobat XI, I am trying to fill in a non fillable form simply by adding text boxes where information needs to go. Unfortunately the font used on the form is rather small and I can't seem to make the font smaller than 8. It not only looks ridiculous but I can not actually fit in all the information.
    How do I make the font smaller?
    Cheers

    Use the "Add text box" tool under Comment - Drawing Markups.

  • How do I change the size of text entry box of search & location?

    Dear Firefox Community
    I want a longer text entry area in the search bar and a shorter text entry area in the location bar. How do I make this happen? I've looked at the customize Firefox notes and they don't address this (that I can find anyway ...). IIRC I was able to do it in an earlier version but ...
    The educated guesses about my system are correct -
    *Win 8.1, FF v35.
    * Adobe PDF Plug-In For Firefox and Netscape 11.0.03
    * Intel web components updater - Installs and updates the Intel web components
    * Intel web components for Intel® Identity Protection Technology
    * Shockwave Flash 16.0 r0
    Thanks.

    The Firefox browser is set up to what you see in front of you.
    However, installing an add-on can give you want you are looking for.
    Below is my Firefox display.
    Many of us are using;
    '''[https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/classicthemerestorer/ Classic Theme Restorer (Customize Australis)]''' {web link}
    Restore squared tabs, appmenu, add-ons bar, small button view and more on Australis UI (Windows/MacOSX/Linux + Fx 29+).
    This will restore many of the things the last upgrades took away.
    '''[https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/vertical-toolbar/ Vertical Toolbar]''' {web link}
    Adds a vertical toolbar at the edge of the window.

  • Can I change the size of the message box?

    Hello,
    I have a dynamic form for users to fill out.  I have added several buttons to display message boxes containing specific instructions for filling out various parts of the form.  My problem is that some of the instructions are quite long and the messageBox is too small.
    Is there a way to resize the messageBox?  If not, is there another way to create a pop-up window to display text on a dynamic PDF form?  It would be useful (although not necessary) to have better formatting options available too.
    Thanks!
    kcrad

    Yes there is another way - you can use the "ExecDialog" method from the Javascript API
    The javascript API is here http://www.adobe.com/content/dam/Adobe/en/devnet/acrobat/pdfs/js_api_reference.pdf
    There is also a really useful util for creating dialogs at Windjack.com, which will give you a WYSIWYG tool for creating the dialogs here:  http://www.windjack.com/product/acrodialogs/

  • Changing standard size of interactive image?

    Hi, when I drag in an interactive image widget, is it possible to change the size of the widget itselve? Not the image that rests inside, but the widget. When the image is smaller than the widget, there is wasted space on the top and the at bottom, and I don't seem to be able to drag the corners of the widget around to the needed size.
    Any help greatly appreciated.

    From full edit use the menu:
    File >> Save For Web
    Select your format e.g. jpeg, PNG, GIF etc
    You can then adjust the file size and quality (compression)
    Before and aftrer images are displayed to enable you to compare the new file size with the original size.

  • How do I change the size of a Spry Input Text field box?

    I created an email reply box, and then I created a reply message box. How do I change the size of each box independantly of each other? All I have is one set of Spry CSS rules!
    Oh, and the Working with the Validation Text Rule widget file in the Help Resource Center only covers changing the background color - Ugh!

    If I understand your question, you want to change the size of the input field that has spry validation?
    Spry has nothing to do with it, add a size to the field
    <input name="textfield1" type="text" id="textfield1" size="45" />
    <input name="textfield2" type="text" id="textfield2" size="25" />
