Change working mode on X-Fi Titanium Fatality cause system freeze

Hi.
Using X-Fi Titanium Fatality soundcard and latest beta driver. But then I need change working mode (from Game to Audio Creation or Audio Creation to Game) it's cause system freeze. And only hard reset helps. No errors message or error logs in system.
This problem appear only if I played any games in Game mode and after want listen music in Audio mode. If don't play any games or listen music, you can change modes multiple times without problem.
I try clean Windows 7 installation and problem is still here.

Unable to change FlexiJack mode on X-Fi Titanium

Hello,
there is no option to change the FlexiJack mode of my X-Fi Titanium PCI-E. I need to switch to Line-In, but it only gives me Mic input. I've seen that option in a screenshot under Digital E/A, but I can only change digital output between 48 and 96kHz there.
I wanted to capture some old VHS tapes today, but I've wasted 3 hours now looking for a way to get Line-In input. I'm really pissed, sorry to say that. The most expensi've piece of hardware I've ever bought doesn't do what the online help promises.

7.1 output not working - Creative SB XF-I Titanium Fatality.

Can anybody help with UCCE feature "Work Mode on Outgoing" in Agent Desk Settings

my customer wants to have a wrapup time till the agents change their state to "ready" by
themself.
So I have configured the maximum for wrapup time 7200 sec in Agent Desk Settings.
But I have a problem with the feature "Work Mode on Outgoing" in agent desk settings in
ICM 7.5.5.
I think I recognized the function of this feature. It works like that:
- if an agent gets a call via ICM or directly on his phone he will be set into work mode
- if he make a call and the called number answer that call the agent is still on work
mode after he hung up
- but if the called number doesn't answer that call and the agent hangs up his phone he
is in ready/not ready state and that isn't the expected state.
( you can also rebuild this when you go off hook and then on hook again)
The problem is when the agent in state "ready" gets a call via ICM and after he hung up
his phone he is in state "work Ready". Now he makes an outgoing call but this call will
not be answered and if he hangs up his phone he directly gets a new call from ICM because
he was in "ready" state.
Is it possible to set a registry key or do another configuration for that feature "work
mode on outgoing" that it works for every new call even if the call will not be answered?

Sound Stutters During Windows 7 Startup/Login XFi Titanium Fatality Pro

During Windows 7 startup/login I get a weird stuttering sound when the startup sound effect plays. I have installed my X-Fi Titanium Fatality Pro card on two different PC's and get the same result. It's not a big issue but it does get annoying because it stutters throughout the whole startup/login sound effect. Has anyone else experienced this issue or resolved it's Thank you.

KYep, im having the same. Windows 7 Professional + XFI Xtreme Music Sound distortion and lag when watching youtube clips or actions as simple as changing theme in windows 7 desktop ( it goes on with wierd distorted sound) Any help? i have tryed last 2 creative audio drivers with no help..

Is there api function to change access mode and set a passcode to recording in meeting?
When I'm trying to use "action=acl-field-update&acl-id=SCO_ID_RECORDING&field-id=meeting-passcode&value=MY_PASSC ODE" it just clean the password and do not set it or change.
And "action=permissions-update&acl-id=SCO_ID_RECORDING&principal-id=public-access&permission- id=view-hidden" do not work too.

There is not a specific API for doing this. This was discussed in the other Connect forum here, Adobe Connect User Community.
For you call I would make the second part differently. Instead of 'field-id=meeting-passcode&value=MY_PASSCODE' I would call 'meeting-passcode=MY_PASSCODE' and see if that worked better.

Changing Screen Modes Quirk

This issue comes up randomly and I can't really troubleshoot it enough to find a pattern.
When I open a document and hit "f" to change screen modes, sometimes the nextscreen mode (not full screen - it's the one where your canvas extends to the full dimensions of the application window) doesn't dipsplay the menus at the top (nor any panels for that matter) here is a screen shot of the first screen mode (default)
then when I press "f" the first time, I sometimes get this
the next screen mode appears to be as it should, but I can't figure out whether this could be a graphics driver issue, a preferences issue (that needs to be reset), a problem internally (Photoshop versus RAM), etc. This seems to happen when I'm working on large file sizes (100MB+), but like I said - it's all a little random. In the past I've reset preferences, made sure my graphics drivers were updated - all that I know to try.
What else could be the problem? Rebooting Photoshop fixes it 20% of the time (or less), sometimes I can "log off" and that fixes it, but mainly I have to reboot.

Bottom line is this: It is WAY too complicated a problem to answer simply. It's a lot like "Ford" vs. "Chevy".
Generally speaking, I'm seeing fewer bad reports from ATI users, but that doesn't mean individual cards are all better.
People on this forum report, for example, that they sometimes cannot get Photoshop's OpenGL to work with an ATI 5670, and that the expensive nVidia Quadro cards are causing more problems with Photoshop than the reasonably priced "gamer" models.
Right now, today, considering the last year's worth of experience, it appears that ATI is releasing better drivers, particularly for several year old models, than nVidia is. Will that keep up? Who can say.
Might be a good idea to pick a specific model you like then just ask whether folks are already using it with good results.
FYI, in the grand scheme of things Photoshop doesn't demand all that much from the video card, so even inexpensive cards CAN work well with it. Whether they actually DO on any given day with any given model, well, that's what's hard to nail down.

Gnome battery icon and 'Could not change DPMS mode'

I run my Arch with latest Gnome (3.2.1) and lately, my battery icon disappeared. Then, after some reboot it showed again (without changes to configuration, packages etc), and now its gone again, for good it seems.

Ok, I reinstalled gdm, added my user to the video group and so far it seems to be working properly, so thank you very much.
Now I just need to see if it will stick that way, since it seems to come and go somewhat randomly.
And btw, I use the presentation mode shell extension, but disabling it did not have any effect.

Ok, it seems the source of the problem was this little addon to /etc/gdm/Init/Default, that I used to launch synergy in GDM:

/usr/bin/synergyc 192.168.0.2
Since synergy controls the display power state, it would add up.

Change of modes not detected

I have a yoga 2 13.My laptop does not detect any change of modes i.e it does not activate tent/theatre/tablet.Is there any solution for it or is it a manufacture defect since i was facing the problem from the beginning.Please suggest.

Try pressing the rotation lock buttons.
Also, install my yoga patch. If it detects slate/laptop mode, it is a software problem, not a hardware problem.

Changing blend mode while PS is applying a filter makes layer "invisible".

Came across this by chance.
I applied a D&S filter and, while PS was busy "calculating", I hit Shift-Opt-K, to set blend mode "darken".
That did set the blens mode, but also somehow made the layer have no effect. Going back in history to before the "Change blend mode" and re-doing it worked.

Apply blend mode "Darken" again. Now it works:

I was able to reproduce this in CS6 and CS5.

Users have to change GW mode every morning

Hello,
I hope someone can help me. I'm a level 1 IT support guy in a governmental institution
(5000 employees). I'm responsable for level 1 support for 550 users. We've been using Groupwise 7 and Webaccess for a few years now.
Recently, I've had 3 users who have to change their mode each morning. 2 of them want to work with cached mode, but have to change this each morning from online, the other is a manager who travels a lot. He has to change cached to online each morning. I've tried a few things (checked the settings and the rights) but can't find an answer. Our level 2 guys can't find the answer either.
Do any of you have an idea?

I have seen this also with GW 7.0.4 and WIN xp, when I switch to another
mode and then restart GW, sometimes the Windows registry setting gets
"stuck" (for lack of a better term) and will not default to the last used
mode. Since it was just me doing some testing, I went into the registry and
changed it back manually. Unfortunately, I canot help with why it happens
or a fix.

Need help on Inspire t 6200 and PCIE XFI titanium Fatality pro series

I need help on this.
I have PCIE X-FI Titanium Fatality Pro Series. and I just bought 5. Speakers Inspire t 6200.
However, I have some problems.
1. In Mass Effect or Other game Or dvd I cant make the center work. It means you can hear the music and background sound clearly but no Voice at all that ussualy come from center channel.
2I Tested over audio controler from the disk. When I put 5. speaker configuration, the sound is coming from center and left channel for left channel and same thing for the other side. However, When the test is trying to test the center and rear speake, the sound are muffled.
3. Is X FI only for Headset only or you can use Pc Speaker ? And how to configuration for Inspire t6200 with my sound card.
I am using Windows xp sp 3
4g Ram

Work Mode

Hello all,
I have been watching the videos on changing mode from personal to work. However when scroll down as shown in the video's noting happens. I can get the buttons to show up to change mode. Is there anything I have to do to make this work?

the balance mode will be enforced if you link your Z10 to a corporate BlackBerry server.
the work mode in Balance will restrict your device.
Please note that the Balance thing is not about having two personal profiles for you. It is on one hand, your personal device, where you can do whatever you want, and on the other hand, a corporate section with all the corporate restrictions (for example you will NOT be able to copy/paste from one app in one mode to one app in the other mode).
From a general perspective, the Balance feature is useless, except if you are a user that does BYOD (= you accept to have your company enforce restriction on your personal phone).
Balance is about how to deal with corporate restrictions.

We powered down our 4402 controller and moved it to a new UPS. After coming back up, only 24 of our 34 APs are associated. The ones that are not are associating but then being told by the controller to reboot due to "operator changed 11g mode".

Insufficient privileges changing sync mode

Running 11gR2 RAC on Linux x64.
I'm trying to change the synchronization mode of a context index through EM to automatic, once per day, and getting the following error:

I'm logged in as SYSDBA and it's still not allowing this...
I CAN change the mode between manual and on commit without error.

although you are running the EM with a SYSDBA user, the owner of the index needs to create the job for the index. So the owner of the index lacks the rights to create a job, give the user the right:
grant create any job to USER_NAME;After this change try again and it will work.
