Changed Apple ID and can't change iCloud on devices.

I changed my Apple ID and Password without first logging out of iCloud on my iPhone and iPad. iCloud is asking me to log in with the old ID and password which no longer exist. How do I get rid of the old icloud account and set up the new one on my iPhone and iPad since I deleted that ID??? Thank you for your help.

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

okay, so basically today I changed my Apple ID and password. hours after changing it, my iMessage was not working. turns out my icloud is no longer working since I change my Apple ID. in icloud settings, it says my old Apple ID and it is greyed out and I can't change it. I have read that changing my Apple ID BACK to my original ID and password, and then deleting my icloud account, then switching my ID again would work. the problem is, that email for my old ID is "inactive" meaning I can't get emails, or the verification one. when I had tried that, because I couldn't get the verification emailI called apple and he said give it 24 hours to update, but from what I'm reading, that won't work. I also do not remember my security questions since they were made years ago, and my rescue email or whatever it is called is also inactive. You need to do the following:
1.     Log into Manage your Apple ID and change your Apple ID using the EDIT button back to your old email address. This is temporary. Do NOT verify it, do NOT change the password: Apple - My Apple ID
2.     Go to Settings>iCloud, scroll to the bottom of the screen and click on Delete Account. Type in your current Apple ID password when asked, and follow the prompts to delete the iCloud account
3.     Sign out of Messages: go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, click on your Apple ID, and then on Sign Out
4.     Sign out of FaceTime: go to Settings>FaceTime, click on your Apple ID and then on Sign Out
5.     Go back to Manage your Apple ID and sign in with the old Apple ID and your current password. Change the Apple ID back to the new email address. You may need to verify it again
6.     Go back to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your new ID
7.      Do the same with Messages and FaceTime

i recently changed my apple id and when i try to update icloud on one of my devices, it says that apple id is incorrect, but of course, there's no opportunity to change it. any way to be able to choose the apple id i want to use for icloud on my iphone?

Changed Apple ID and can't sync it to iPhone

I needed to change my Apple ID and I am not able to change it on my iPhone. On my iPhone, my old ID comes up in the iPhone Store and on iCloud.
I tried to delete my iCloud account on the phone so that I could add it again with the new account info, but I can’t because the old ID comes up and I need to input the old password, which is no longer valid.
I also tried to sync my phone with iCloud on my computer, but that didn’t work.
Any suggestions?

go to appleid.apple.com and reset the password first and then go to setting itunes and apps store then press the apple id and sign out it will work

Why did in the right-click menu the "open in a new tab" and the "open in a new window" -buttons change places? And can you change it back?

With the Firefox 4 RC, the "open in a new tab" and the "open in a new window" -buttons have changed places. It's quite annoying because I normally do it without even looking at it, but now it always opens in a new window instead of a new tab. Is it possible to change it back? Maybe in your own settings?

Apple ID's can be used for anything, a single ID can be used for all your accounts (ie iCloud, iTunes, MAS, Apple community etc), ideally this would be the way forward. So far as iTunes goes you need to continue to use the same ID as you have always used or you will lose access to your previous purchases and your iTunes match subscription.
If you are using a second ID for iCloud, you can continue to do so or use the ID you use for iTunes, but if you choose the later you will need to move all your calendar, contact etc data to the account using the ID you use for iTunes.
When (if) you change which account you use you would delete the account on an iOS device and log back in with the correct details, on a mac you would sign out in the iCloud system preference pane.

Apps and Music are not from iCloud. Are from iTunes and App Store.
You can change this from: Settings>iTunes and App Stores>Sign out and sign in with new ID, but you will have to pay again to download apps that you already have in your old account. Or leave it as it is to share purchases with your son.

Go to http://iforgot.apple.com and sign in with your iCloud login. A new password will be sent to your associated email address. If this doesn't work you will have to contact Support. Because I can't delete the icloud account, I keep getting view terms to accept and it wants to go to the old company account. You will need that old Apple ID and password, which does indeed still exist. Apple doesn't delete Apple IDs, though if this ID was in the control of your company they may have changed the password. If so, you will need your former company to log into the iCloud account using that ID and password and erase the iPad or remove it from iCloud:

Until that's done you cannot change those settings, and if you try to restore the iPad will have it locked with Activation Lock and thereafter be unusable.

You don't have to do anything with the first iPod that you don't use anymore. If you are planning on keeping it, put in a drawer in your house and forget about it.
You don't need a second account to use with the new iPod. I use one Appl e ID and iTunes library for two iPods, and two iPad. I have different content on all four devices. You can select exactly what you want to sync to each device and it can be different content on all devices.
